Staff were very very pushy about selling tours and hounded me every single day. It was very uncomfortable and I felt really awkward. There werent any places to sit and relax except the bed and 1 couch in the living area. The ceilings were ridiculously short so showering was extremely difficult and I'm not even that tall. The bathroom was up a really difficult tiny spiral staircase. Overall this has been my worst hostel experience and I felt extremely uncomfortable there.

It can be really noisy, as it has a large kitchen where people tend to gather, so prepare to be disturbed. Also, the heating was not adjustable, so it got really hot.

No se podía hacer nada. Un cartel con un montón de prohibiciones: no se podía lavar la ropa interior en el baño, tenías que bañarte de prisa porque había un cartel que decía que no podías gastar más de X litros de agua… que lo entiendo, pero no creo que sea necesario un cartel para ello…

Reviewed Apr 16, 2026Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Hostel ist sehr ruhig und familiär. Die Besitzer sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Zimmer ist etwas eng.

Sofri uma tentativa de golpe, alguém entrou em contato comigo se passando pelo Hostel pedindo para eu confirmar os dados do cartão ou a reserva seria cancelada um dia antes de eu chegar, muito estranho pq eles tinham os dados da reserva e meu WhatsApp, porém eu não cai.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026We stayed in the boat house out back and it was excellent. We had our own small kitchen with a personal fridge and private bath. We were also invited to use the larger kitchen and other larger common areas which was very nice as well. No problems checking in or checking out and they have many excursions you can book at the front desk because it doubles as a travel agency. One of the cheapest prices around too.

Booked in USD with all taxes included, but at check-in the male owner showed a price about 19% higher than the original booking. He said the extra charge wouldn’t apply if I paid cash, but then refused USD cash due to “no change.” I also offered to pay by credit card with my PDI (which should exempt foreign guests from IVA in Chile), but he refused that as well.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026Bettwanzen!! Vom Personal wird dagegen nicht wirklich etwas unternommen, man bekommt nur kurz ein Desinfektionsmittel, was man versprühen soll. Das hilft aber null, alle Zimmer sind befallen. Auch ansonsten herrscht eine eher unangenehme Atmosphäre. Eine ältere Dame, die das Hostel zu betreuen scheint, beobachtet die Gäste auf Schritt und Tritt und kommentiert alles, was man ihrer Meinung nach falsch macht.

The main problem is bedbugs. I stayed one night in this hostel as base to my W trek and a bedbug hitch hiked with me to my W trek hike. If you are allergic to bedbug bites, maybe this is not a good choice for you.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026De gezellige atmosfeer en de heel vriendelijke oma, die de hele dag loopt te poetsen.
We kregen een kamer waarvan de eigenaar met grote waarschijnlijkheid wist dat er bedwantsen waren omdat het op de dag van aankomst in de slaapzaal ernaast was vastgesteld en ze er elk jaar rond deze tijd problemen mee hebben. Er was nochtans in een ander gebouw ruimte voor ons. Na drie dagen zaten het gezicht en handen van een van ons onder de grote, jeukende beten en vonden we ook twee wantsen in ons bed. Toen konden we plots wel van kamer wisselen. Er wordt onvoldoende gepoetst, het beddengoed en vloerbedekking is niet geschikt voor het bestrijden van bedwantsen, bovendien kan de kamer zeer slecht verlucht worden en de verwarming draait op volle toeren, waardoor het broeierig is. De lakens van een enkelbed zijn de helft van het laken van een dubbel bed waardoor ze te kort zijn, de koelkast zit vol spullen van vorige gasten die al lang over tijd zijn.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Das Hostel hat eine sehr gute Lage und alle sind sehr freundlich. Jeden Morgen werden die Betten gemacht, das war Hostel Luxus. :)
Zu meinem Mehrbettzimmer gehörte anscheinend ein privates Zimmer im Dachgeschoss, welches unser Bad sowie unseren Eingang mitnutzte. Dazu wurde niemandem beim Check In etwas gesagt - groß war somit die Verwirrung, als plötzlich jemand früh morgens unser Zimmer verließ. Die Treppe zum Bad ist eine offene Wendeltreppe, was besonders nachts nicht optimal ist. Der Gasherd steht draußen, was besonders bei den Temperaturen in Patagonien nicht sehr angenehm ist.

Ich durfte in der Hälfte des Aufenthaltes wechseln in ein Einzelzimmer ohne Preisaufschlag, weil eine Gruppe "mein" Bett wollte im 8er-Zimmer. Gutes Internet und Preis.

We stayed at this hostel twice, 1 nights before the W trek and 1 night after. We booked a private room, our room was located in the kitchen area (via a separate door). The hostel has many many many rules, with signs and rule books all around the place, which I am fine about and respect. One of the main rules is no kitchen use or noise after 10pm. Both nights people were loudly in the kitchen until after 11pm the first night and last night 12.45am. It’s hard to enforce rules when the owners is the person in the kitchen making the noise to an ungodly hour! The owners family lives at the hostel and very much has their stuff everywhere, creating a weird atmosphere and not over inviting. I do not recommend this hostel.

Le ménage du "bateau" était succinct. Matelas étroit peu confortable. Trois caisses plastiques les unes sur les autres en guise de table, qui prenaient toute la place et sets de tables sales. Une gazinière dehors en plein vent. Cuisine commune petite et mal équipée.

Man darf die Küche nur bis 22:00 benützen. Wenn man einen Tagesausflug in den Nationalpark unternimmt kommt man erst im 22:00 mit dem Bus am Busbahnhof wieder an und hat dann so keine Möglichkeit mehr zu kochen. Wir haben im Boot übernachten, leider hört man die ganze Zeit das Wasser recht laut als zischen wenn es benützt wird, was sehr störend ist in der Nacht.

Kuchnia do gotowania na zewnaytrz, dostępna tylko w określonym przedziale godzinowym (całkiem sporym, ale jednak to ograniczające przy wczessnych/późnych wyjściach). Restrykcyjny regulamin dotyczący użytkowania pokojów.

Essendo in 4, abbiamo soggiornato in 2 abitazioni diverse: una matrimoniale (calda e senza finestre pur avendo luce naturale dal soffitto), un appartamentino strutturato all'interno di una barca, dove il problema principale è il bagno, sia doccia che sanitario.

Am Silvesterabend hat der Chef für alle gegrillt (was nicht selbstverständlich ist), und er ist sogar gegen 23 Uhr ins Hostel gekommen, um sich um das ausgefallene WLAN zu kümmern. Eigentlich waren alle nett und bemüht, außer einer Person...
-Es wäre hilfreich, wenn Wanderschuhe zusammen mit den Socken im Flur abgestellt würden. - Bad war leider dreckig. -Direkt nach dem Ankommen habe ich gefragt, ob ich (auch gegen Aufpreis) das Zimmer wechseln darf – genau wegen den Schuhen. Das wurde mir jedoch nicht erlaubt. Am nächsten Tag kam eine große Gruppe, und ich wurde gebeten, das Zimmer zu wechseln. Aus Prinzip habe ich zunächst Nein gesagt, bin am Ende aber doch gewechselt, da es für mich und für die Gruppe sonst nicht besonders komfortabel gewesen wäre. -An einem Tag habe ich die Base-Torres-Wanderung gemacht und kam um 21:55 Uhr ins Hostel zurück. Ich habe sofort an der Rezeption gefragt, ob ich mein Essen noch kurz in der Pfanne zubereiten darf. Die Küche darf nur bis 22:00 Uhr genutzt werden, was sehr knapp war. Mir wurde freundlicherweise erlaubt zu kochen, aber als ich die Küche betrat, hat mir die Mutter des Hostelbesitzers das Kochen nicht erlaubt, obwohl in derselben Zeit noch drei Männer gekocht haben. Vor Hunger und Erschöpfung nach 24 km (seit 6:30 Uhr morgens) bin ich einfach zusammengebrochen. -Zusätzlich: Diese herzlose Frau hat mich ausgelacht und anderen Gästen erzählt, wie schlimm ich angeblich bin. Über andere Gäste und Mitarbeitende hat sie ebenfalls häufig schlecht gesprochen. ( Und ich war nur 4 Nächte da)
