A beautiful place with lots of character. Very comfortable and lots of little touches that made you feel welcome. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.

Friendly staff, good location and great breakfast.

The room needed updating, there were knobs missing from the wardrobe, the bedroom door rattled in the wind, and the wall paper was peeling off the ceiling .

Excellent breakfast, and very accomodatimg when I asked to leave my car there prior to booking in and until 3pm on the day we left. Didn't have to worry about finding a car park near by.

The location is great and being at the top of the house I had a great view across Torbay. Breakfast was excellent and the service was too. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was super.

My room was really difficult for me to get up to. I should have asked for a room lower down. Another guest helped me with my case to the room which was great. But I had to struggle down the very steep and narrow stairs on my way out.

I had an amazing stay at this B&B. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day.I can highly recommend this B&B and would happily stay here again!

Described as having sea views and king room. Allocated a room facing a garden and washing line. Room very small. Coffee machine fir breakfast dispensed terrible coffee. Soundproofing from footsteps above poor.

The location was okay. The property was laid out well with a lot of convenient well thought out additions we had not seen before including an honesty bar from a cold fridge. The coffee machine was really good and decaff tea bags were a choice you don't always see. The staff were friendly.

Our room was very snall and very tired with water marks on two of the walls (we mentioned this) the toilet was in an awkward position as the sink cabinet overlapped the space. We had to ask for more toilet paper. The reviews i read regarding the breakfast were positive but two of my four breakfasts were disappointing given we were told they were freshly cooked. Bacon pale looking and tough to eat and sausage although cooked was not browned.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und nur mit einem Etagenbett ausgerüstet. Dies war auf der Booking-Seite zwar aufgeführt aber erst ganz am Schluss von allen Notizen. Wir waren auf alle Fälle sehr erstaunt, dies so vorzufinden.

It is so refreshing to experience an 'old school' approach to hoteliery, where everything is based on service, simplicity and trust. The location is perfect for the harbour and marina, plenty of parking and everything else is exactly as you would expect and want it to be.

Gastheer Pip is geweldig en hij zorgde voor een heerlijke ontbijt. Mooi huis, hartelijk ontvangst. Echt een aanrader. We hadden de Bunk kamer met een stapelbed geboekt en hadden daar niet veel van verwacht van te voren. Maar het was comfortabel, gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Helemaal top, zeker voor ons als South West Coast Path wandelaars

Bathroom was tiny and for someone with a non visible disability and stoma bad it was quite tricky! BUT it was so clean. So not really a negative but if you need space in a bathroom just keep it in mind.

Ideally located, spotlessly clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast, gracious and generous service and provision - we loved our stay and will return. Unusually for a central Brixham property, Ranscombe House has a good parking space - much appreciated.

Pip is wonderful. The location is brilliant. It’s great value for money. We would recommend and we’ll be there in the future, hopefully.

The hosts / owners were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was amazing and there was a nice selection to choose from. The bed was comfy and the view was beautiful.

The room we were in had low beams and it was difficult to avoid hitting your head in places. Moving the wardrobe into the area outside the bathroom would allow for the tea making area to be moved to a more accessible place. I would definitely stay there again though, just pick a different room. We were in crows nest 2.

Pip was an incredible host. Attentive, well organised, explained everything with a wonderful greeting when we arrived and even lent me a phone charger after I forgot mine at our previous destination. The breakfast was truly superb and home cooked perfection! Thank you - will definitely be staying again.

The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky and steep, especially with luggage, but it's worth the climb for the view. There were some strange noises coming from the shower, maybe because another guest was showering

A great little find in Brixham, I contacted Pip before my arrival asking for a early check in and he was very obliging and when I did arrive early I was treated to an upgrade. A great location only 10 mins walk from the town centre. Fantastic breakfast and a great host. I will be sure to come here again if i am ever in Brixham or near by. Thanks Pip for making me feel so welcome.

Comfortable room with bathrobe which was just perfect after a long hike along the SWCP. Huge variety of food and tea/coffee for breakfast. Very friendly staff.
