Staff were great at Ayana sea, the food and ease of transfer all really great. Rooms were super clean and overall resort well maintained.

I found the resort very isolated, the beach is in poor condition and full of rubbish, there is no where to walk to local restaurants or to pick up souvenirs. If your staying for 1/2 night to relax before flying home, great, but if not i wouldn't recommend the resort

Tutto perfetto! Lo staff al completo compreso anche Silva del Ristorante sono stati con noi gentilissimi e ci hanno aiutato in qualsiasi imprevisto. Piscina al Top, peccato il periodo sbagliato in cui abbiamo soggiornato perché il mare era sempre mosso ed inavvicinabile. Per il resto abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni meravigliosi e ci siamo sentiti coccolati da tutti.

Meget lækkert område til total afslapning, lækker pool og mega hyggeligt poolområde. Flot “lejlighed” med KÆMPE seng og kæmpe badeværelse. Og 5 retters menu er med i halvpension, vildt lækker mad.

Intet jeg ikke kunne lide. Alt var virkelig lækkert.

Absolutely everything. It was very calm and peaceful. The entrance with all the Koi Carp were a fantastic touch. The grounds were stunning with wonderful sounds of the ocean to wake you up. Wonderful restaurant facilities and the bathroom was beautiful. Having reception on WhatsApp was a great idea- allowing for a regular person to ask questions or requests. They replied very promptly. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

The only small thing was the litter on the beach. I do not know if the beach is part of the property though so this may not fall under their responsibility. I was able to use chat gpt to edit photos though.

Absolutely awesome, quiet place for relaxing and enjoying. The staff was exceptional. Very attentive and kind and the food is to die for. Absolutely awesome chefs there.

Could be maintained a bit better.

We had a perfect stay at Ayana Sea in our Beach Front Villa for 4 nights. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout. Everything was impeccably maintained and spotless, even in the off-season. The kitchen truly stands out — the a la carte options were absolutely top-notch, and the food was beautifully served right on our villa terrace.

Alles. Wat een heerlijk plekje is dit. Heerlijke kamers en een prachtig terrein. Het personeel is geweldig, komen kokosnoten aan je bedje brengen en zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. De mensen van het restaurant zijn helemaal top! We hebben deze locatie geboekt om even niets te doen en helemaal tot rust te komen, dit is meer dan gelukt!

Das Zimmer sehr großzügig, die Lage unter Palmen in einem tropischen Garten , sehr gutes Essen , der Strand endlos und bei unserem Aufenthalt im April menschenleer…. Sehr nettes Personal . Ein paar Minuten zu laufen ins Zentrum von Wadduwa, wo man gut shoppen kann . Die nahe Bahnlinie stört überhaupt nicht.

Un séjour exceptionnel du début à la fin. L’hôtel est superbe, parfaitement entretenu et offre un cadre idéal pour se détendre. Le service est irréprochable, toujours attentionné et professionnel. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’ambiance, à la fois calme et dépaysante.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir haben ein Zimmer Upgrate erhalten ohne mehr bezahlen zu müssen. uns wurden alle Fragen beantwortet und auch alle Fahrten problemlos gebucht. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Die Ruhe dort war ein Genuss.

Etwas mehr bei den Speisen auf den Gast eingehen. Mehr flexibilität beim Frühstück wäre wünschenswert. Das Essen war aber sehr gut.

The setting is lovely away from the built up beach resorts, beach is quiet and has very few people. The resort is small and compact and of a high standard, very good standard of food, with lovely staff.

Our room was beautifully appointed, featuring a dreamy bathroom, spacious terrace, and refreshing plunge pool. The grounds are impeccably maintained with lovely outdoor areas, and the location offers true tranquility. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. Meals were outstanding, with fresh and flavorful options that exceeded expectations. The adjacent beach is peaceful for lounging, though not suitable for swimming due to conditions. Conveniently, a supermarket and small shops are reachable within a 5-10 minute walk. We highly recommend this gem for a relaxing getaway!

Tolle Lage , das Personal war sehr bemüht . Große Zimmer m guter Aussrattung , selbst Bügelbrettern Bügeleisen vorhanden . Das Restaurant hat einen excellenten Koch. Toller frischer Fisch und auch sehr coole zwischensnacks . Auch Donderwünsche werden prompt erfüllt

Very nice maintained garden and the beach is underrated! It’s perfect for swimming and enjoying the ocean. We like the pool area and the games offered outside. We had a very big bedroom and an amazing bathroom. But the most valuable are the people like Silva and everyone else! Thanks for helping and welcoming us every day.

Tout était parfait. La chambre vue Ocean avec piscine est magnifique : spacieuse, grande hauteur sous plafond, douche + baignoire et literie de qualité. Il n’y a pas vraiment une vue sur l Ocean du fait de la clôture mais la chambre est orientée face à la mer, le jardin prolonge la terrasse, et on est bercés par le bruit des vagues, ce qui rend l’endroit très relaxant. Le jardin est magnifique avec de très nombreux transats (bien plus que le nombre de personnes). La piscine est grande. L’hôtel propose d excellents petits déjeuners et dîners. C’est plus cher que dans les restaurants classiques au Sri Lanka mais le service, la qualité et le soin apportés au plat sont au rdv (et ça reste bien moins cher qu’en France à niveau de prestation équivalent). Le personnel est très attentionné, tout en étant discret. La grande plage est très peu fréquentée.

Ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk. Staff erg vriendelijk, geen moeite was teveel. De kamers zijn erg ruim met heerlijke bedden en een gezellig buitenterras. Mooi zwembad. Wij konden niet in zee zwemmen vanwege een rode vlag

Vanuit de locatie heb je vervoer nodig om naar een plaatsje oid te gaan

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Aussenbereich ist ganz besonders schön und die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Das Essen und der Service im Restaurant sind sehr gut.

The service was 10/10. Staff were very attentive and I think that’s a lot more important than just the normal expectations you would have in a hotel/hospitality setting. Well done

I would have loved to have an extra mosquito repellant incense in the plunge pool bathroom but that is personal preference.

Fabulous room and a perfect way to end my trip to Sri Lanka. Lovely pool and stunning sunsets.

Perfect place to unwind around the pool, with the ocean on your doorstep. Our room was large and comfortable with a big bathroom, bath and double sink.

Breakfast could have been included with the price paid.

Прекрасный отель! в нем прекрасно все! Персонал, номера- огроменные с 4-х м потолками! уютная территория, чистейший бассейн. Супер- супер! Кухня- к сожалению как и на всей Шри Ланке- средне. в море купаться очень сложно. волны каскадом в разные стороны. Просто постоять в воде, больше ничего не получится)

Relativ teuer für ein Hotel in Sri Lanka

Nice location and very quiet.

The property is set in a quiet location right by the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day out. The food was delicious, we chose Sri Lankan cuisine and were impressed every time. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a lovely variety to start the day. What truly stood out was the staff. They were exceptional, warm, attentive, and always accommodating our needs, consistently delivering service with a genuine smile. You really do feel well taken care of here, allowing you to fully relax and unwind during your stay.

While the property has great potential, a bit more attention to detail and maintenance would enhance the overall experience, as some wear and tear is noticeable. For example, the toilet seat came off twice during our stay. With small improvements, it could be a perfect getaway near Colombo and better match the lovely photos presented by the property.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Ein super chickes Boutique Hotel mit allem, was man dazu braucht. Sehr gutes Frühstück und perfekte Lage für einen ruhigen Erholungsurlaub

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, and the beach is absolutely stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. My whole family was delighted with the experience, and we truly enjoyed every moment. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place.

Everything in this hotel is amazing: room, bathroom, reception, staff, pool, service… we stayed for our last two nights after driving around Sri Lanka. We didnt do too much, we didnt get out of the hotel, just walked on the beach and enjoyed the hotel and tranquility. This is the best place for relaxing on your last days. They also managed the car that took us to the airport. Thanks a lot!

Maybe just that the beach was not swim friendly when we were there..

It was beautiful and the staff were so attentive and food was amazing!! The room itself was so comfortable and clean and well designed.

The one issue I have is that my room was given away because the financial team wasn’t speaking to the front desk … I had to fight to keep my room, but they did try to offer me extra nights and spa deals as a compromise. But I kept my room in the end. Additionally I’d like to suggest that the spa changes the music to something relaxing and spa like - a proper spa soundtrack, not backstreet boys and boys2 men - it was really not relaxing so I had it turned off.

Мне очень понравилось расположение отеля, он находится в 2х минутах от пляжа и слышно шум волн! Так же можно прогуляться и искупаться на пляже. Территория чистая, белки приходят составить компанию на завтраке. Если вы ищете тихий, спокойный и уединенный отдых то вам точно сюда!

Я бы ограничила по времени прослушивание музыки на соседней вилле, наш номер был ближайший к ней и мне не очень приятно было слушать музыку, куда приятнее в таком месте наслаждаться природой и слушать звуки волн и птиц. Так же я бы добавила разнообразия в завтраки, для меня был доступен только один вариант с яйцами в разном их исполнении, тк у меня аллергия на молоко и я не могла есть завтрак с хлопьями, а другие варианты были очень специфичные для меня, либо зеленая каша либо что то с карри и острое

Der Geruch im Bade Zimmer ist nicht angenehm. Durch die Witterung sehen die Fugen und Armaturen schlecht aus, darum Schimmelgeruch. Durch den Türschliesser wird die Badezimmertür immer zugezogen und im Badezimmertür hat es keine Klimaanlage . Es ist immer feucht.

Очень ухоженное, чистое и спокойное место. Вежливый персонал, очень добрый. В ресторане вкусно готовят, а завтраки шикарные и разнообразные. Мы брали номер с видом на океан. Чувствовали себя спокойно и уединенно. Арендовали машину и байк. В отеле есть охрана и парковка.

Есть незначительные нюансы, но это если критиковать и придираться.

Ein richtig gemütliches Hideaway , neue Bungalows , sehr geräumig mit Luxusbad. Restaurant mit top Küche, ausgesprochen freundliche, fleissige Mitarbeiter. Da Vorsaison hatten wir das Resort zeitweise fast allein für uns. Gemütlicher kann man kaum entspannen.

This level of service is rare — they truly treat you like royalty. Ayana doesn’t just meet expectations; it genuinely surpasses them. I recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone. It is magnificent, unforgettable, and simply perfect.

The resort is exeptional! The pool/garden area is well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The rooms are great and clean. The restaurant and food was outstanding. But the best part was the friendly and helpful staff!

Das personal war wahnsinn! Wir waren nur eine nacht dafür wars perfekt, vor allem das frühstück war wirklicher wahnsinn! ansonsten gibts nicht so viel zu tun in der gegend. Der strand ist lang aber war zu der zeit (Oktober) nicht wirklich genießbar. Das zimmer hatte leider etwas modrig gerochen besonders das bad. Für eine nacht wars perfekt aber für mehr finden wir das preis leistungs verhältnis etwas hoch.

Am fost în luna de miere, totul a fost perfect, mâncarea foarte bună, piscina și plaja foarte curate, în cameră se face cât de des vrei tu curat, angajații minunați, simpatici, ospitalieri, tot sejurul ne-am simtit minunat. Sigur o vom alege din nou aceasta locatie pentru urmatorul concediu!
