Sergi's Resort and Hotel

This resort is in good location and the view of the beach is excellent. There’s a restaurant inside and we had dinner there on our 2 nights stay. Staff in the restaurant is so kind and giving their best to serve us. I will stay here again if I go to Palompon again.

Just a minor one - one room has still smell of new paint and they gave us diffuser to minimize the smell of paint.

Friendly staff good food on the beach

Beach front was nice, and food was decent.

The parking was muddy and the wifi and phone reception was very bad, tv stations where only local. The room had a lot of pest i.e. ants and spiders. The room only had one outlet for charging phones etc.

The location was great it was a good view also.

When we arrived, the staff informed us that some walk-in guests had already been checked into the Family Guest House because they lost their internet connection around 3:00 PM, and our booking had not come through in their system. They explained that those guests would be transferred to another family room so we could have the Family Guest House. We understood the situation and patiently waited until the guests were transferred. When we entered the Family Guest House, we noticed that the third bedroom was extremely hot because the air conditioner was set to the heater mode. We adjusted the settings before going out, expecting the room to cool down. However, after more than two hours, we returned and found that the temperature had not changed. We called the staff, and although they tried to fix it, the issue remained unresolved. We also found a cockroach in the first bedroom, which was disappointing. While we appreciate the staff's efforts to assist us, we were disappointed that no service recovery was offered despite the inconveniences we experienced. We hope this feedback will help the property improve its processes and guest experience in the future.

Very clean resort and the staff were helpful and welcoming. Some nice upgrades since I last visited, Very relaxing area with a small beach at the back of the resort.

Water pressure in the shower was low. Food finished at 6pm. If you tip give the tip directly to the person involved. Wifi is not great. Cell signal is poor

Room was not what I reserve. Charge for pillows and blankets. Room had ants on it. Not place to eat in the room. Sink was falling off the wall. Walls had cracks and holes in them.

The whole house, location, views, staff, room sizes, community and courtesy bus was amazing. We would stay here again. My family absolutely loved it.

Nothing, loved every moment. However please find a solution for mosquitoes as my 3yr old got attacked.. poor thing.lol

Comfortable room and amazing staff!

I had an excellent stay at this place. Comfortable bed, and great location. The terrace was wonderful to enjoy coffee in the morning.

Previous guests had said the last hundred meters or so was muddy and problematic. Apparently, that problem was solved by installing concrete for traversing from the highway to the facility. No problems for us, arriving in a car. Room service was nice to have. We enjoyed it, despite our first choices not being available.

No recreational opportunities here. Volleyball or badminton, rental water toys, or an outdoor shuffleboard area would be great additions.

It had a nice beach

The room was old and ran down. The shower towel rack was ripped out of the wall. The sliding door to the bathroom was heavy and required heavy lifting just to slide it back and forth.

I like mostly everything. The housekeepers are friendly and the food and drinks are very affordable. Chill and flawless check in. Peaceful ambiance and nice view.

I wish more recreational activities like kayaking.

Direkt am Strand, saubere gemütliche Zimmer, Klimaanlage funktioniert super. Und eine kleine Bar war auch vorhanden.

It's a beachfront and staff are friendly and accommodating.

The road from highway to the resort is not cemented, bit muddy during rainy days.

Loved the quiet location, especially the easy trip early morning to the beach front.

Unfortunately there was a power outage on my last day so I checked out early and left for Ormoc City as the resort had no generator.

I was very pleased with the service. Sir Sol and the girl at the front desk (forgot to ask her name-on shift Apr 23 evening) was very accommodating with our questions and needs. They are the reason why we enjoyed our stay with Sergi's resort and hotel. The facility is also beach front and there are a lot of places you can take good photos.

The entrance is difficult to access due to the uneven road.

For me it was a perfect oasis in the middle of a busy trip, we spent 3 nights and it was very peaceful and relaxing. It was a simple place but very clean, friendly staff, delicious food and right on the beach which. It was also very good value.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. There were only two things we commented on in our stay, neither of which really bothered us - the track leading to the resort is very rough for the last 100 metres and the air conditioning unit was a little bit noisy (but it worked).

The staff was so friendly. It is located right next to the ocean. The room was excellent. They did laundry service for me at an extremely affordable price. They have a full time kitchen staff that is extremely accommodating. I had the best time possible there. It's by far the most luxurious place on the island. I took so many pictures of just the hotel during my vacation. I loved it. Please use this review for advertising them.

They did have some very small ants walking around the room, but it's the Philippines and that's completely understandable.

The location is fantastic, and the staff were amazing and very helpfull. The food is good and its right beside a beautiful.beach. Its also very quiet and the rooms are nice. If you want the room cleaned. Mosquito spray for the room fresh towels ask. They tend to respect your privacy so wont come until asked. But when you make any request it is dealt with quickly and with a smile. Il def. Be back...

I was lucky my girlfriend is local so we used her cousin and his motorpot( tuk tuk). He was always a phone call away. So if you are staying a few days or more find one of these guys with a phone and you are sorted. As i didnt see any taxis so that is an issue. But this is for local travel.only.

Beachfront, great helpful friendly staff. Room was clean, comfy bed, ac and tv. Location is also close to the town.

Wifi was spotty, and prepaid. Vouchers had to be claimed at the office, which was a little inconvenient. They should have 2 separate wifis for guests in the hotel and guests of the resort.

The water in shower and sink. Like really bad water to shower in! They did not even have bottle water in the room. Had to buy water but kitchen wait staff kepts us in free water. Chef not always there.

I was very happy with the room and the shower facilitiess. It was nice to see that the same chef is there. He takes pride in his work and he wants the diner to enjoy their eating experience. The staff are always polite and helpful

It would be nicer if they had a better internet service and I am sure that if they added 100 pesos per night to the cost of a room that had excellent internet service the guests would be happy to pay the extra.

We drive 50kms from Ormoc hoping for a nice stay for the night. Disappointed. We expected the small rooms (we got #4), but the airconditioner isnt working. ‘It must have run out of freon sir’, suggested the worker, but didnt do anything about it. We asked for another room, but it’s AC also wasnt strong enough for the room with ambient temp is too warm. Since we’ve let the AC on for 2 hrs while we went out for dinner, at least the room’s heat has dissipitated at least. So we opted to remain after asking for a standing fan. The bath doesn't drain well. On the upside, the place is by the beach.
