Too many stairs the parking is all over the other side of the city .

The parking they announce it as it’s close but it’s not. Hard to locate the building , however they do use what’s up to communicate.

Las fotografías generan mucha expectativa y necesita una remodelación además señalizar el caminó a su entrada ya que es difícil dar con ella. Solo la gente local lo ubica fácilmente y es quien te da indicaciones para llegar.

Reception not friendly and didnt tell me truth of my payment. I paid extra and with no refund

The place is gorgeous! the view from our room was spectacular, even better the from the pipila, the staff was super helpful and kind, the only thing is that you'll do a lot of stairs, so keep it in mind in case you have big luggage, and the wifi in our room didn't really work wich is fine with us.

The rooms and the view of the city is beautiful. The staff are also very helpful and understanding, specially a young gentleman that works over night. We had a medical emergency and he was absolutely helpful and attentive. We were allowed to check in before time and check out was completely smooth. They have breakfast service and the food is cooked on the spot. We ate having an amazing view of the city and prices are very reasonable.

There are three different properties under the same name. We had originally booked at traditional, but it does not have private parking. We were sent to park at Suites which is about a 10 minutes car ride and impossible to walk to Traditional carrying luggage. We ended up changing the reservation to Suites and paid almost 40 percent more than what I had originally paid. However, the view and tranquility was absolutely worth it. We walked to the historic center of the city (12 minutes walk) and took a taxi to go back up to the hotel at night.

The location is very good. The view is simply amazing!

The stairs were not a problem to me but should be clearly described on the site and were not. The room's floor was very very dusty, although this seems to be an issue overall in Mexico. The bed was broken on one part and was uncomfortable.

Muy difícil llegar al hotel ya que no hay ningún señalamiento de que hay un hotel en esa zona pero de servicio y alojamiento excelente, no recomendable para personas discapacitadas o adultos mayores ya que es mucha subida para llegar al hotel, eso sí ofrece una excelente vista a la zona.

Amenities like soap and shampoo were weird, smelled odd and unpleasant to use.

What breakfast? Lol just on the go coffee was available in a hallway!

El hotel es muy bonito, la ubicación es perfecta lo único que no tiene es estacionamiento cerca y la página de Expedia es muy recomendable todo o hace más fácil 🌟

Fue genial la estancia, además de una hermosa vista a la ciudad. La recepcionista era sumamente amable y muy cordial! Aunque tuvimos que irnos antes por causas de fuerza mayor, la verdad es que no dudo que la estancia habria Sido muy agradable toda la noche, la terraza era preciosa, de noche es una vista preciosa! Volveríamos sin duda alguna

walking with the luggage bags a few flights of stairs , not assistance from the hotel. Cold- no heating system, no working safe box, no extra blankets, we requested a refund- but didn't receive any money back.

The location is perfect and the view of the town is excellent. You can walk to the Juarez theater in 5 minutes and start exploring the city. You can hear the music and joy at the Union park in your room but far enough to sleep well. A very good place to stay

Not something bad because it is part of the characteristics of the hotel but it is something to take in mind. The stairs from the street level to the front door and the stairs from the front door to the room (depends on the room number you have). They are heavy after walk around the city so you have to take it in mind The other thing is the room temperature in cold weather as it not has a heating system. Points to improve: Return the transportation from parking lot hotel to hotel location(as part of the services) and more staff (one for front desk and one for help with luggage/reception at street level)

-Estacionamiento; está en el otro hotel chocolate, solo tienen. 6 lugares, tienes que dejar tus llaves, y tienes que pedir un taxi para que te mueva al otro hotel, aprox de 90 pesos cada uno. -Accesibilidad: tienes que subir más de 140 escalones para llegar al hotel / habitación. -Accesorios: no tienen cobertores ni colchas para frío. Tuvimos que pedir el calentador de la recepción (que muy amablemente si nos prestaron. Pero no tienen calefacción. La TV nunca sirvió. En toda la estancia no tuvimos acceso a verla y en la recepción dijeron que ya habían reportado el sistema de cable. Nunca sucedió.

The location is close to the center but has numerous stairways.

We were cold all night because the window couldn’t be closed, there weren’t enough blankets, there was no heating, and no one was available to assist during the night. The pillows had a toxic smell, and when we mentioned it to the receptionist in the morning, she just laughed.

Buena zona, y agradable para pasar tiempo de calidad en pareja, es dificil acceder por que se encuentra un poco escondido entre los callejones y no cuentan con cocina ni opcion para calentar alimentos.

Difficult to find a property no signs around area. Wifi was not working and the bed was broken one. Not pleased at all

Esta casi en el cielo, hay que subir muchos escalones, tuve que cambiarme de hotel y obvio pague doble hospedaje.

No había transporte disponible para dejar el auto en el estacionamiento. Difícil acceso y debería ser cortesía la primera hora solo en lo que bajas tus maletas ya después si quieren cobrar. La repuestas de la gente ahí no es muy amable me dejó mucho que desear. La vista muy bien y cerca de los sitios Turisticos.

Tenia 2 noches y solo aguante 1, el aire y frio se cuela por la puerta y ventana, la peor experiencia de mi vida, no vuelvo nunca

La chica y el señor de recepción súper amables y todo con eso no tengo detalle solo que no me pareció el hecho de que el estacionamiento no estuviera igual donde me decía y lo retirado que estaba para los alrededores al igual q la comida q ofrecen por la tarde aparte la habitación que tenía tenía dañada una ventana la cual si la tocabas se salía directo al voladero lo comento x los huéspedes que cuentan con niños no es seguro xq también están muy delgadas y si ventea vibran

El hotel está perfecto en excelente ubicación, excelente vista y limpio, hubo algunas cosas que no nos gustaron como que dejan un sobre para que dejes propina en la habitación, uno se siente como obligado, los tours que venden en el hotel te llevan a varios lugares que NO dicen en el papelito que te dan, perdiendo mucho tiempo en todos y los tours se alargan y se hacen super tediosos y cansados por ello, te llevan a un lugar donde venden plata y a otro donde venden cuarzos, los q si estaban marcados era uno de dulces el cual está OK pero esos lugares extras te hacen perder la cabeza. Algo que estaría genial sería que incluyeran desayuno y aumentaran el precio a quien lo quisiera y por favor cambien la marca de café que usan, el que tienen no es café bueno. Gracias

I stayed from the 27-30th; I took my parents and even tho I had read previews reviews I didnt expect the stairs to be that tiring thats why I am doing this reviews because I would like people to know how things are around there !! THE BEST VIEW NONTHELESS but to get there?Jesus .

Muy buena ubicación. Las instalaciones están algo deterioradas, no había agua caliente, ni funcionaba la televisión.

Bueno por el precio, muchas escaleras, excelente ubicación, el..estacionamiento está lejos del hotel, Google maps no funciona muy bien ahí

Hotel de pequeño con servicios basicos, hermosa vista, céntrico y personal amable. Pero, está en un cerro detrás del Teatro Juárez, y solo puedes llegar subiendo una lona que serían unos 300 escalones, sin ayuda, no hay bellboys. El callejón de acceso está muy sucio. Pedimos lavado de ropa, el servicio a muy bien precio pero solo aceptaban pago en efectivo. No tiene dónde comer. Solo te queda bajar.

Es un hotel que aunque tiene bonita vista, tiene pésimos accesos y nula salida de emergencia secundaria, tiene más de 100 escalones para ingresar a la puerta de entrada y otros 50 para entrar a la habitación ( no tiene elevador ) los colchones son muy incómodos. No cuentan con estacionamiento cercano por lo que se cobra $80 pesos cada que necesitas utilizar tu vehículo ( su estacionamiento esta en otro hotel con una rampa a más de 60 de inclinación ) por lo que incrementa el costo total del hospedaje No lo recomiendo para niños, adultos mayores, ni con personas con dificultad de movimiento o uso de sillas de ruedas

Negatives: - Not wheel chair friendly. - Lacks signs to locate - Old and outdated - Stairs and many stairs: horrible with luggage. - No AC, has a small fan. - Noise: Dogs barking, Roosters and other noise, horrible sleep - Roaches - No safe to lock docs. - cheap/flimsy door lock. Positive: Great location.

It had an absolutely stunning view. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

They should really warn you about parking and waking. It's a LONG walk to the entrance and all steps. No staff assistance until you reach the office, even though they know we were dropped off by their own transportation service. No air conditioning and very noisy all night long. The shower water was very cold. If you want to rest at night find another spot. If you don't want to walk uphill 300 steps, go elsewhere.

Location and the view are AMAZING. Room is nice, and big and clean (excluding the fact there are so many cockroaches around the area).

There are so many cockroaches around the area, unfortunately one flew into my room. While it was written as a rule regarding early check-in, I'm super disappointed that even 2 hours early check-in (just to drop my bag) is not even an option since the reception told me the room is ready. However, my most pet peeve would be the fact that there is no fan in the room, given how hot the weather is. It's the risk between opening the window for the breeze with that chance that the cockroaches will get in, or sweat myself in the room.

It was very hot in the city and the hotel only has fans and it wasn't enough to keep us cool.

Took us 2 hours to get settle due to the parking being in another hotel, blankets are dirty they had hair everywhere. The person at the front desk needs more training. Other than that I spend a great time walking and being at the plaza..

The Cacao room doesn't have internet access but its private and quiet. Tulfa room is loud. The kitchen and dinning room is on the other side of your room. Expect to hear it all in the AM.. The lobby plays loud bad Mexico music.

La vista de la ciudad que tiene el hotel es increíble , vale la pena. Para llegar al hotel tienes que subir escaleras que para alguien no muy deportista la verdad son muy cansadas. El hotel está en el mero corazón de la ciudad por lo que el estacionamiento no está en el mismo lugar del hotel. El estacionamiento está como a 850 metros caminando , con maletas es complicado. Lo mejor es dejar las maletas en el hotel y luego llevar el auto al estacionamiento ya sin maletas. El ruido de la ciudad si se escucha en la noche , pero si eres de sueño pesado no hay problema. El personal del hotel es muy amable y apoyan en todo.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the city. I was able to walk to the gallery I was exhibiting at, as well as all of the local event happening at the Cervantino. This place was great and a great deal. I would recommend the Hotel.

The hotel is very close to the center of town and has a lovely view over the church in front of it. The staff was friendly and our room was very clean. We would stay there again. A little difficult to find when arriving because there aren’t any signs at the entrance walkway. Be prepared for stairs at the hotel and all around the city.

Location and view was great. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Complementary mezcal shot was awesome.

Had to request some basic items from staff as they were not already in the room (ex. Toilette paper). The parking was at a different location which is fine but we had to pay our own ride to and back from that location when we were expecting the hotel to drives us there.

The hotel suite on top was AMAZING! Privacy all around and the best view possible. Only one thing was difficult and it was the steps walking up after a long day.

The hotel has a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Guanajuato. It is located in the heart of the city and you have everything at hand, fun, food, history, really beautiful. The only thing is that you must be ready to climb many many steps other than that everything is very nice. Oh and the attention of the staff is excellen.

There was a coffee machine at the room and they did not provide coffee or tea until we asked for, this should be refill everyday. Shower need a lot of improvement they are too hot or to cold and no pressure, shower is not good
