Great accommodation!

A huge thank you to the extraordinary friendly and welcoming staff. The setting is simply beautiful: the garden, nestled in the palm grove, is a delightful retreat, perfect for relaxing between excursions. The pool is lovely, and every corner invites you to unwind. The rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

Ein traumhafter Ort zum Erholen und Entspannen! Toller Garten, wunderschöner Pool, hübsches Zimmer, schönes Haus, tipptopp sauber, absolute Ruhe. Wir haben an beiden Abenden hier gegessen und waren beide Male begeistert. Mohamed und sein Sohn sorgen von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute dafür, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Vielen Dank! 🤩

Mohamed und sein Team sind tolle Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist ein Paradies und noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Mohamed hat wunderbar für uns gekocht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Weiterhin hat er uns einen tollen Ausflug in eine Kasbar organisiert. Ein wirklich warmherziger Mensch.

Très belle maison d’hôtes. 5 chambres impeccables. Piscine très propre dans un jardin très bien décoré.

Établissement très agréable, très calme. Nous avons apprécié le dîner au bord de la piscine entourée d'une belle végétation avec notre hôte très sympathique.

Nous avons eu un peu de mal pour y accéder malgré les conseils de waze.

een idyllische sfeervolle plek in alle rust en Mohamed heeft echt alle mogelijke moeite gedaan om onze vergeten spullen een week later via via elders te bezorgen. Echt klasse! Wij komen hier zeker terug en raden iedereen deze fantastische plek aan.

Wunderschöne Oase inmitten von Marokko. Von A-Z hat alles super gepasst, tolle Gastgeber, sehr gutes Essen, toller Garten und gemütliche Zimmer - nur zu empfehlen!

Nichts - Die Anfahrt mit Google Maps ist nicht ganz einfach, aber der Gastgeber hat uns in Zagora abgeholt, also top Service!

Eine wahre Oase. Alles ist liebevoll gestaltet. Der Garten ist traumhaft schön. Jedes Zimmer hat seinen eigenen Charakter. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die beste Unterkunft seit langer Zeit!

Un magnifique riad très bien décoré avec un splendide jardin. Mohamed était particulièrement attentif et toujours disponible. Beaucoup de goût pour la décoration.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed at Dar Pienatcha over the years and what I like most is the fact that it is still the superb accommodation with excellent food and service as it was when I first stayed many years ago.

I loved everything!

Un acceuil trés soigné

The place is beautiful and the room very comfortable, even though it was small. The dinning room is super cosy and it gave us an intimate atmosphere, plus the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. Also, the host Natalie helped us with tips that turned out great experiences!

All was great. Some reviews mentioned it is difficult to find it (it is in the first time) but we called and someone came to help us. If you have a car, this should not stop you from staying there.

Nagyon szolgálatkész és kedves volt mindenki, az esti vacsora különlegesen pompás volt, a reggeli bőséges. A kert elbűvölő és ötletes volt, a házigazda pedig sok tanáccsal szolgált.

Un vrai havre de paix. Si nous avons l’occasion nous reviendrons c’est certain. Et surtout mangez sur place le soir, c’est la meilleure tajine que nous avons pu manger. Merci pour cette belle expérience

Tout était parfait

Un petit paradis coupé du monde au milieu de Zagorra. Parfait pour se détendre. Le personnel est au petit soin du début à la fin. Nourriture faites sur mesure pour nous et surtout délicieuse.

Absolument rien tout était incroyable

I want to especially point out that the manager and other staff were extraordinarily friendly, welcoming and caring to the best level possible. And the food was amazing! i can highly recommend the dinner!!!

Absolutely lovely…. The garden in the palm Grove was beautiful, the room clean, tidy & well presented. Breakfast was the best of the 5-6 places we stayed in Morocco. It benefited from a combination of a French owner and local assistants… the best of both worlds.

It was set back from the Main Street in Zagora, which meant relying on the house driver, which was no real hardship, they collected took us where we wanted

Excellent quiet location with a lovely garden and helpful staff

Absolute gem of a place off the main street through Zagora. Such a warm welcome with Moroccan tea and a lovely garden area with lots of seating and places to sit. We only stayed one night and Mohamed cooked us an amazing meal - soup, tagine and a lovely yogurt desert, all inside by the log fire as the temperature dropped at night. We were also very pleased with breakfast - a selection of pastries and bread, tea or coffee and yogurt. This was a perfect stay for us.

The ambiance is great. And the kitchen is fantastic. Mohammed is a top chef. And they serve delicious wine. So don't hesitate about this hotel but do it. It will not disappoint! Thanks Nathalie and Mohammed for your hospitality.

Everything about our stay was heaven. The place is an oasis of tranquility and every corner invites you to relax. The room is spacious and spotless. The bed is comfortable. Ac works on heating and the water is hot, perfect for a relaxing shower. The breakfast was very generous.

Clean and attractive rooms, beautiful garden to relax in, excellent home-cooked food. The owner and staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful (made sure we were comfortable, showed us where to go for walks and arranged trips for us). It’s a short walk from Zagora centre but a nice quiet place to relax away from the bustle of the town.

Everything about Dar Pienatcha was amazing. It’s the perfect treat after a night or two in the desert. From the perfectly decorated pool and garden area, to the attention to detail in the bedrooms, to the fantastic food by Mohammed. What a perfect twist to a tagine! Amazing. Not to mention the starter and delicious desert. Possibly the best food we have had in Morocco so far. We loved everything about our stay! It was only for one night but honestly we think you could spend a lot more time in this gem! Will definitely visit again next time.

Everything was perfect!

We originally didn't plan on eating at the accommodation but we arrived a bit later than expected and asked when we arrived if it would still be possible (even though we originally confirmed that we wouldn't that morning). The host was very welcoming and whipped up one of the most delicious meals we ate in Morocco! Nice, clean rooms and a great pool!

The location is a bit outside zagora. I wouldn't stay here if I didn't arrive by car.

The place itself is great, you can spend your whole stay inside and you will enjoy it. The pool area and the commun spaces are very good and cleaned. The reality is way beyond the pictures.

The bathtub could be use only as a shower

One of the best place we stayed during our 2 week road trip in Morocco. The room was equipped with AC, spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. Bathroom beautifully designed with hot water. We had a shared cozy living room. The pool area and the swimming pool itself was gorgeous. Fantastic team of staff, Mohamed and Faesal were friendly, helpful and attentive. Location is out of town, but we had a car so that was no issue.

This is a peaceful quiet oasis in the bustling Zagora, with truly friendly and wonderful people, a refreshing swimming people, beautifully styled and comfortable garden and room, good food and everything you need really! If going to Zagora again, I would come back here!

One of the best places we have stayed in Morocco. There is a great attention to detail, the pool, the garden, everything is stunningl. We decided to have dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. Too bad we couldn't use this oasis for longer, will be for next time. Thank you Mohammed!

Not a dislike so much as a heads up - it’s a bit out of the way, so if you don’t have your own transport you will need to arrange a vehicle into town if that’s your plan.

Perfect place to rest and relax prepping for the desert or on the way back. Beautiful location, delicious dinner and friendly staff.

The swimming pool and garden were amazing. The children also loved the Moroccan decoration. The staff were really attentive and let us rest the following day in the garden and have some tea even though we had already checked out. Thank you!

Amazing hotel with a very nice garden with swimming pool. In feb too cold to use, but must be very welcoming in th e heat of the summer. Dinner was very good.

A far walk to the city centre

The hosts attended to our every need - my stomach is easily upset and they made food that I could eat, breakfast and dinner. Incredibly nice! Next to this, chilling in the sun in the lovely garden with quiet all around is really, really great.

Mohammed the manager is super friendly and a great cook. He made the best Tajine (with candied lemon) we had on our vacation. Nice garden to rest and take a dive.

This is a very nice secluded oasis. Easy to reach from the main road, but very quiet, with a very beautiful garden and pool, lots of chairs and shade. Splendid breakfast and great dinner! Rooms clean and comfortable.

The outside area with the pool is very nice. Pool was clean and big. Lots of shady places. Everything was lighted beautiful during night. Mohamed was a very nice host, he helped us with special requests like parking the car for one night when we were in the desert or leaving luggage there. Rooms were big and AC was working fine. Breakfast outside was tasty and it was a lot of food.

Bathroom is not a separated room, just a wall with no ceiling. Shower drain was slow. Some lamps were not working and some tiles on the ground were broken but nothing too important.

We arrived late and they still prepared a dinner, which was the best we had during our stay in Morocco. The swimming pool in a extra +.

Neighbourhood Wifi

Everything about this property ticks all the boxes for us. Mohammed is a perfect host and ensures his guests are well looked after. Plus one of the reasons we extended our 1 night stay to 3 was so we could have the opportunity to experience more of his very tasty cooking. The relaxed atmosphere also added to our very comfortable time at Dar Pienatcha.

There was nothing for us to dislike about this property.
