Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Mandy und Simon sind sehr hilfsbereit auch bei etwas schwierigen Dingen . Das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Simon macht euch Frühstückseier, welche keine Wünsche offen lassen. Die Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber . Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite Mal da und es wird auch ein drittes Mal geben.🤗
Da gibt’s Nix zu kritisieren.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Sehr, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Es wurde für uns ganz kurzfristig eine Safari gebucht, mit einem sehr zu empfehlenden Tour Guide . Auf jeden Fall nach Ashley fragen! Er macht sehr interessante Safaris. Das Frühstück war absolut klasse, man bekommt alles und es ist sehr lecker . Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und hätten gerne noch verlängert, aber leider war es nicht möglich. Beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder!
Badezimmer etwas klein! Kann man aber bei den herzlichen Gastgebern drüber hinweg sehen.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Tout est parfait : emplacement, confort, gentillesse et disponibilité de la propriétaire. Nous avons passé 6 nuits avec nos enfants. Nous avions la chambre hippo et eux la chambre lion. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et excellents. La piscine n'est pas immense mais largement suffisante pour se rafraîchir (même en hiver :)). Bref, un excellent séjour, nous recommandons.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026De gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en wordt speciaal voor je gemaakt. Er was een gezamenlijke zit gedeelte wat heerlijk is zodat je niet op je kamer hoeft te blijven zitten. Vlak bij het centrum. Alhoewel het was spannend naar de restaurants wandelen is, je kan een nijlpaard tegen komen onderweg.
Airco kan wel een onderhoudsbeurt gebruiken. Met een hele grote auto is het wel wat lastig parkeren.

La dueña es súper amable, nos dio muchas explicaciones sobre las actividades de la zona y recomendaciones, y se adapto sin problema a nuestras peticiones (un dia nos preparo desayuno para llevar y otro dia pudimos desayunar antes de lo previsto). El desayuno esta súper bien, es muy abundante y la habitación esta bien mantenida y limpia.
Las instalaciones están un poco anticuadas. Funciona todo bien y esta limpio, pero está viejo.

The breakfast was excellent, and when we had to leave early to visit the wetlands, they even prepared a breakfast to go for us. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Établissement à distance de marche du centre, propre et bien aménagé, chambre confortable avec espace extérieur (une table et 2 chaises), espaces communs agréables, possibilité d’utiliser le réfrigérateur de la salle à manger, hôtes vraiment gentils, nous avons eu des bons conseils pour visiter la région, nous avons eu aussi de l’assistance pour réserver nos excursions. Pour conclure, super petit déjeuner.

We arrived and Mandy said one of the restaurants in town had half price sushi which was an absolute treat! The rooms are decorated so beautifully with an animal theme, we had the zebra room! The bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious. I had booked because of all the rave reviews about breakfast and let me just say the breakfast is outstanding! Best breakfast we had on our two month long trip!

Reviewed May 10, 2026Heerlijke plek! Ruime kamer, goed bed en een perfecte locatie met restaurants om de hoek. Mandy en haar man zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ze geven je echt het gevoel welkom te zijn en weten alles over de omgeving. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen!
De badkamer is helaas aan de kleine kant en is aan vernieuwing toe. Dit was voor ons het enige minpuntje aan een verder zeer prettig verblijf.

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025Believe the hype about this place! 10/10 isn't a high enough rating for the exceptional stay. The room was cosy and comfortable, breakfast was out of this world, and our hosts' warm yet professional demeanour made us feel well taken care of without feeling like they're imposing. They are so well prepared, and they have thought of every possible solution. If they wrote a playbook on how to be the ultimate hosts, I'd be at the book signing! I can't thank them and their staff enough for their warmth, generosity and calm energy.
I didn't like that our stay was only two days long, but that is no fault of our hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better place to decompress.

Fällt uns nichts ein. Wir hatten keine Beanstandungen, wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt.

Er was continu koffie en koekjes, er waren handdoeken beschikbaar voor het strand, de gastvrouw prepareerde een ontbijt voor tijdens onze ochtendsafari….. De ligging van de lodge is heel centraal. En we hebben er ongelofelijk lekker ontbeten.
De kamers en badkamers zijn aan renovatie toe, wat ook de hygiëne niet ten goede komt. Na het nemen van een douche was er telkens reukvinder.

Simon maakt de allerlekkerste ontbijtjes van zuid-Afrika Het was voor ons de tweede keer dat we hier verbleven maar als we weer naar st Lucia gaan komen we zeker hier terug

The setting was simply gorgeous and a celebration of African artistic culture and their precious animals 😁 My Lion Room was bright, airy, very clean and the bed was very very snuggly comfortable with beautiful linen and pillows/cushions ☺️ Breakfast was a variety of yumminess, fresh and extremely plentiful 😋 I instantly felt at home and very welcomed. Thank you Mandy, Simon and Max for your warmth and kindness 🐶xx

Kamer is gedateerd. Dringende renovatiewerkzaamheden zijn gewenst. Zeer kleine badkamer.

Reviewed Oct 4, 2025Traumhafte Lage und eins der besten Frühstücke, die wir je gegessen habe. Inhaberin ist super herzliche und gibt tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge. Sie hat uns mit offenen Armen empfangen und auch direkt eine Bootsfahrt für uns gebucht, die traumhaft war:) Zimmer sind sehr groß und das Bett war sehr bequem. Ein Innenhof mit Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. St Lucia ist als Ort auch sehr sehenswert, hat bisschen Florida Vibes. Empfehlenswert sind mind. 2 Nächte, eher 3 Nächte. St. Lucia ist sehr sicher. Nachts können Hippos in die Stadt zum grasen kommen, was ein einmaliges Erlebnis ist:)

De kamers waren ruim en schoon, en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Als extra verrassing was bij vertrek onze auto zelfs gewassen – echt top service!

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Tot. El lloc és molt bonic i està molt ben cuidat, ple de detalls. És molt còmode i confortable. Els propietaris són fantàstics, súper amables i servicials. Et donen moltíssima informació i t'ajuden en tot. Hi ha aigua disponible, te i cafe. I les orzar es realment increïble. Molt molt bo i molt molt abundant. Sense dubte tornaria. Ha estat el millor allotjament de tot el viatge. I això que feia massa fred per provar ça piscina!

Reviewed Sep 6, 2025La atención de la dueña, es muy amable y atenta y nos explicó actividades de la zona y sobre el parque natural. Desayuno espectacular y super completo. El servicio de lavandería nos fue muy útil, barato, y el mismo día te lo tienen. Parking y wifi bueno. La casa es muy bonita y la zona es tranquila.
Quizá el baño de la habitación un poco anticuado.
