Cabine très agréable au bord de l’eau. Le soir avec le feu c’est parfait. Malgré la route à proximité nous avons très bien dormi.

Le vis-à-vis trop présent avec les voisins de cabine. Un rideau ou un brise vue serait très appréciable.

The idea of staying lakeside.

Everything else! Totally overpriced Outside: There was a busy road opposite.The surrounding park area did not feel safe with numerous homeless people wandering around. Inside: The futon bed was like lying on a park bench and in no way could be comfortably slept on - we needed that extra bed for our stay. It also did not provide a duvet, just a sheet and a blanket. The flyscreen wouldn't lock shut, so we had to adjust it to make it work. The interior was like being inside a small shed. The decking had no safety rails or panels. Totally unsafe. The roof deck had only 1 small wooden chair. One post holding the boundary rope was loose in its mountings and another was coming unscrewed. Again totally unsafe! Inside smelt like rotten eggs, especially in the bathroom. We managed to stay ONE HOUR before we decided we could NOT spend the night there SO WE LEFT!!!

Le confort du lit, la terrasse, l'espace le plus vaste, la vue sur le canal et la ville, le sentiment d'espace naturel, la proximité du parc,

L'espace intérieur très restreint, l'accès à la place du fond dans le lit est difficile pour des personnes ayant des limitations fonctionnelles. Nous n'avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner le téléviseur malgré de nombreuses tentatives de nous connecter au réseau avec le mot de passe fourni. Nos autres appareils électroniques fonctionnaient. Peu de place pour ranger nos vêtements pour un séjour de moyenne durée. Le rapport qualité/prix est désavantageux.

L'emplacement est incroyable, comme une mini maison et un bateau réuni!

Faut être autonome et débrouillard, la sécurité est très importante, la terrasse sur le toit serais à vérifier

Vue magnifique, l'emplacement. La chambre est propre et lit confortable

Manque d'entretien, manque d'amour et les poteaux de la terrasse en haut sont lousse donc pas sécuritaire .

Original, bon service, personnes respectueuses aux alentours, lit confortable (le queen).

La pression de l’eau de la douche était très faible. Le petit foyer au gaz ne fonctionnait pas bien. Il n’y avait pas de stationnement disponible. Recevoir autant de e-mails et de textos devenait mélangeant dans le processus d’arrivée. Une planche était défoncée sur le toit et pourrait être potentiellement dangereuse (à valider).

Bed was super comfy, the only thing to know is it’s not private, neighbours very close, but area is great, we loved it.

Absolutely incredible stay and service! The flotel was clean and the waterfront view was so lovely! Coffee, dinner and drinks were all walking distance and parking was free so we never had to move the car. I also left an item behind and the staff was so helpful and responsive to help me get it back. Awesome all around!!

Location was amazing, bed was super comfortable. Tv options were perfect and such a great touch. Nespresso delicious.

Didn’t see the additional tables and chairs underneath the futon until we left. Maybe a simple shower curtain so whole bathroom doesn’t get wet

If you guys are looking for ambience then its a good choice, other than that like space and cleanliness i will give 5 out of 10. 1- there is no A/c in room 2-there is no lock for washroom 3- there is no exhaust in washroom ( smells really bad) 4- they told the area is smoking prohibited but our next cabin members were smoking. 5- there is no reception and no staffs. 6- coffee machine not working properly

During the phone call, the landlord was very impatient in explaining When he heard that French and English were not my native languages..

Unique hotel on water. (Frozen for our visit in winter!) Comfortable bed in nook, shower is with toilet and sink on deck type floor. Nautical feel. Wish we had arrived in daylight, tough to see and figure out after dark.

Winter weather prompted us to stay due to early morning surgery appointment at hospital for my husband. It was fabulous except for one thing explain below.

Winter access to the actual unit was very difficult due to snow and no designated path. It was very difficult for my husband awaiting a knee surgery to manage the snow and then make the big step up onto the deck. The small ramp was sheer ice and could not be used. I imagine in summer it is heavenly.

Cozy room, heated flooring, efficient design with everything but a kitchenette. Perfect for short stays and small peaceful getaways. Great response time from staff, and a wonderful serene view in the middle of a city. Would and will come here again.

location - walking distance to lots of restaurants, coziness, comfortable bed, extra mini sofa bed used as a couch. My husband went swimming ....& liked the all in one bathroom.

Outside loungers too low. I had issues getting on & off them Instead I used the camp chairs that were provided. If for 1 night 2 night stay eating out ok but for a longer stay , I would like the option of maybe a barbecue site... if not for each unit ...maybe 1 per 2 units. or a microwave or an induction single cook top.

Such a unique experience! The suite was well-stocked with water, and a few treats. Loved having the fire pit at night (and early morning), especially since we came in the fall. Bed was super cozy. There’s no EV charger onsite, but there is one 300m away at the city hall. The Flotel is located within walking distance to everything.

The view and location were great. Our room was warm and stuffy. The thermostat did not seem to do anything. It was a neat concept. Trying it once is enough for us.

Unique place, quiet, enjoyed the deck and fireplace on deck. Would have liked a regular coffee pot to make tea and coffee instead of a expresso machine. Also needs a light over the coffee shelf. A little horrified to find the duvet wasnt covered by a top and bottom sheet.... Just a top one .....so the duvet touched me all night , but who was it on the night before? When the cleaners came round they didn't carry new duvets so I'm sure they are not refreshed each day . It's too bad that mared my memories of the place because I loved it's clean, simple, rustic vibe

Un peu d’entretien serait souhaitable. Une des 2 portes-patios ne verrouille pas et l’autre le moustiquaire est défectueux. La porte coulissante de la toilette est lourde et pratiquement impossible à ouvrir une fois à l'intérieur, il n’y a pa de poignée pour aider. Il n’y avait pas de briquet tel qu’indiqué pour partir le foyer extérieur. En terminant un fois sur le balcon le dessous du toit n’a pas été nettoyé depuis longtemps, c’est sale et cela ne semble pas d’être de cette année. Un nettoyage à la machine à pression d’eau serait nécessaire. J’aurais souhaité lors des communications qu’il y ait mention du stationnement. Bien que nous ayons eu de la place dans le stationnement adjacent (stationnement de la ville), les places sont limitées.

Around the deck outside of the room, there are a lot of spider webs with spiders. At room number six there wasn’t a blackout in the shades so you must wake up with the sun. That’s not really nice for a relax weekend.

Petit, mais confortable et agréable. Peut-être un peu cher, surtout sachant qu’une chambre d’hôtel standard complètement équipée avec beaucoup plus d’espace était le même prix. J’étais cependant contente de faire cette expérience de logis assez unique.

Other than the location of the oRkong, the whole experience was fantastoc. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. We had paddle boards and could easily get them in the water.

On y va pour l’expérience d’hébergement sur l’eau et les couchers de soleil magnifiques! Un hébergement modeste mais d’une grande originalité. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre nuitée.

Jai adorer lendroit ,le service est rapide ,il sint accomodant lort de probleme , le seul petit probleme quon a eu ses quil ny a pas d'attache a bateau j'ai une motomarine et nous avons du instaler une chaine pour instaler des bouer pour pouvoir acoster ma motomarine et la verrouiller

I couldn’t stay longer

Let's be clear about this, This is not a 5 star Hilton hotel. If that is what you're expecting you will be disappointed. What this is, is an unique and interesting experience. Flotel Valleyfield is a 6 room hotel made out of shipping containers on 3 barges floating in the harbour. Each room has a small sitting area, a "wet" room toilet/shower area, and a sleeping nook. The interior is finished all in plywood. Amenities include TV, a small cube fridge, and Nespresso coffee maker. On the water side of the room is a shared deck with wood chairs you can put the provided cushions on and a propane fire table. There is also a steep stairway up onto the roof where there are other wooden chairs. You can swim off of your deck as there are 2 swimming pool ladders to help you get in and out of the water. There is NO front desk. On the day of your arrival, you will get a text allowing you to sign in. Once that is done you will get a 4 digit code to use to unlock/lock the door. If you do need assistance there is a 1-800 number to call. The rooms all have 2 sliding patio doors onto the deck. These doors have security bars to prevent anyone from breaking in although in my room one of them was missing. The TV is a ROKU system which can be difficult to use if you are unfamiliar with it. The is a fan in the sleeping nook but needs to be plugged in every time you want to use it. Small inconveniences. The bed is VERY comfortable and the linens are soft and luxurious but it's only a double.

Very cool property. Sunset view was spectacular! Fountain was lovely too. Not sure I'd swim there though with that many ducks and boats. Boat and paddle boards rentals very close by. Excellent hosts!!!

Une belle découverte pour moi ce Flotel. L'espace est restraint, mais pour se reposer et passer une soirée avec une vue magnifique à fleur d'eau du lit ou du patio c'est l'ideal! Lit super confo, responsable très gentil. Je vais y retourner c'est certain.

Une expérience hors de l’ordinaire! Dommage que la température ne soit pas plus belle, j’aurais profité du feu extérieur.

Very Nice outside on the Deck with the fireplace. Should clean more, patio door under the fridge, didnt clean water for the coffre machine. Noisy at night near our head, something was knocking under.

Not what we expected. Knew we would be on water, just didnt know that is was a container....and half of one at that. If you are a minimalist then this is perfect. Would also be good if you timed it to take advantage of the water aspect of the booking.

Awesome place for the price. Really enjoyed the stay, the ambiance, the fireplace, etc. Just... We almost got locked in the bathroom because of the door not working well (room#4), and the water pomp is VERY noisy and starts everytime. And the view is 90° lake, and 90° mainroad and industrial background.

It is a bit small and the pump that evacuated the water in these sink made a terrible noise that could wake us. Besides that it was cute and a great place to see nature. We saw a beaver, ducks and squirrel. We just needed a place to sleep because we were going to my husband’s sister funeral.

It was like being in a tiny house on the water.👍 It was a fun experience and would try it again. The only fault weI countered was that the parking was a 1/2 block from the flotel. We were admonished by workers who we’re doing work at the public restrooms for driving up to the flotel in order to drop our bags off. None of those people had anything to do with the flotel business. Our stay was great easy dining and many different cuisines within walking distance.

Railings loose at top deck. A bit warm in cabin - no air conditioning fan helped. If it was my business I would make sure top deck and outside is pressure washed and place nice flowers pots at each cabin
