We had a wonderful stay at Stone trail Villas and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The villa was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. The property has a lovely charm, and the attention to detail really stood out. Everything was well taken care of, and the overall experience felt welcoming and enjoyable from start to finish. I truly appreciated the hospitality and the effort put into making my stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend Stone trail Villas to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay, and I would be happy to visit again. Thank you for making my stay such a memorable one! ❤️
The only thing I didn't like is the little window on the door because if someone comes to the door, they can see you inside.
The location was good, the beds was comfy
The new construction being done was an eye sore, the electrical breaker kept trip off. There isn't laundry in your villa it can be done with a cost. There isn't anywhere to hang wet clothing.
Location was close to the beach and airport. Facilities were very clean, cool, and comfortable. Rooms were spacious; linens were clean, and AC worked extremely well- entire system cooled the entire house. Shower was not very high pressure; yet the water hot extremely hot! Cleaning service was very thorough- which we appreciated. Got clean linens and towels midweek; and the entire place was swept and mopped. Oona was very prompt and professional and always pleasant.
Location was not close to food options- so you need to ensure that you have transportation, if you aren’t open to public transport. There were two bottles of water upon arrival; yet no coffee or condiments; and no dishwashing liquid despite there being a sink and dishwasher. Appliances are a bit old and outdated and can be updated.
A slightly dated villa close to a small beach with two spacious bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The area is quiet, and it is a 15 to 25-minute walk to supermarkets. The road is reasonably flat and walkable, except for the first 50 meters to the public road, which is very steep. Housekeeping is available daily. Una is very friendly; she stops by every day. Demuon is a reliable taxi driver for transfers to and from the airport (40 USD).
The air conditioning is unable to lower the temperature in the living room below 30 C (86 F). There is no hot water available, so you have to shower with cold water. The kitchen is equipped with basic equipment; the dishwasher is broken.
1. Ideal location; secs from the beach, close to Kingstown and the Argyle airport. 2. Our accommodation (nearest to the main entry gates on the hill) was good. 3. Our local host Keta (forgive me if it’s misspelled) was amazing. She made the trip worthwhile.
1. The main sofa requires a deep clean. Also, the kettle, toaster and blender should be upgraded to newer models.
The location is amazing, and it's very relaxing. I will definitely be staying here again.
To be honest, there is nothing I don't like. No complaints, very satisfied with everything.
Spacious, clean
It is located on the “rougher” end of the bay. Restaurants and grocery are a bit of a walk away. Probably need a car if you are staying here.
Location was excellent, It was very clean, utilities were great, soft bed, nicely decorated, nice and cool ac.
The property had occational ants
Everything to be honest
There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like
View, bath, walk in shower easy access to Indian bay
No oven - for staying 2 weeks would have expected No washing machine - cost for doing bag wash too expensive - used Kingstown at half the cost
Everything
Stonetrail has great rooms which are furnished to a high standard . It’s just a few metres from Indian bay beach and near villa beach . The staff are very friendly and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble .
There were extensive building works going on at present . Although the noise did not affect us .
Beautiful comfortable bed, location to the beach was great (100 metrss), facilities in the village and the size of the villa was more than adequate. The AC was excellent as was the spacious living area.
The water pressure to both the shower and the sinks was terrible. It's very disappointing when you have a luxurious shower but when you enter it the pressure is terribly low. The fridge had an awful stench of fish, it needed a deep clean and airing out. No complimentary bottled water upon arrival. That would have been a nice hospitalable touch. I did not like the $175(US) Holding fee as a 'Deposit'.
The location- near the beach. However, because of the recent storm that washed out stones on the beach front walking into the sea makes it difficult and caused sore feet.
October 2025 THIS REVIEW IS THE WHOLE TRUTH. Prior to COVID I stayed in the apartment located at the front of the courtyard to the left - at that time the accommodation was good. Returning for another holiday (15 October to 29 October 2025) I also invited other members of my extended families to book to stay at Stone trail Villas which they did. However, THIS TRIP THINGS HAVE CHANGED: - staff was not welcoming. In fact, we had to initiate a warm greeting to them. - if they our names they did not use them at all. My sister’s apartment: - my sister Glenda - stayed in the front apartment that I stayed in on the previous holiday. THIS TIME RAT DROPPINGS WAS FOUND IN THE CUTLERY DRAWER which I saw with my own eyes and despite informing staff nothing was done because the RAT DROPPINGS continued. Hence, I refused to accept a drink or eat when my sister offered. The sofa in their lounge was poor - it sunk in when you sit on it. My own apartment: called ‘superior’ is not as its name suggests. The sofa was ok but needed cushion to cushion the back rest . There were no cushions so sitting on the sofa was uncomfortable. The air condition: was faulty. There were times in the bedroom the air condition could not change the temperature because the controls did not work which I reported the next morning but for that night my rest and sleep was deprived because the room became too hot. The air condition in the lounge started to leak spilling out water onto the lounge floor making it a hazard. I had to mop up the water with our bath towels and then spread bath towels down to contain the water - by bedtime the leaking had not been fixed and I put bowls out to catch the water ( I took picture). A few days later the same problem happened and again I had to do the same with the towels and pots. Front door lock faulty: the first night locking the door to the accommodation failed.
Gated peaceful environment, good location, staff were very helpful and friendly. The beach is only 5 minutes away. Cooking facilities. Comfortable outdoor seating areas. Airport transfer provided for a reasonable fee.
No room service was provided nor offered during our stay. My last visit here, it was offered daily. The kitchen cupboards are positioned too high so we struggled to reach plates and items on the shelves. Electrical item in kitchen had US plug yet the sockets are UK style. Staff were quick to change item once we told them. No kitchen paper towel or condiments provided. Having stayed at a variety of price ranged establishments this trip we were surprised to see these items not provided. Also the toilet tissue was very thin compared to everywhere else we stayed. I believe the quality of some items were better when I previously stayed here several years ago.
I liked the location and the quiet until daytime hours - the property should have let us know they are under construction.
Construction noises. Wifi did not work 99% of the time - that was very frustrating
Very nice the staff is accommodating superior villa is nice AC is cold
Clean room staff was amazing beach view and beach steps away
Great place
Great location and so peaceful… I am in love with the super comfy bed, I had a great nights sleep.
The only minor issue was the WiFi - my laptop was fine but the phone only connected when I was leaving… maybe fate said I wasn’t supposed to be working? 😄
Property was spacious and well equipped
The lack of hot water for showers and washing up They have construction going on, but it didn’t spoil our time there
The property is under major renovation. Staff helpful but hoping to have someone available by phone on Sunday
Very clean nice and quiet location love the staff very friendly and helpful
Excellent
Conveniently located within walking distance to beach. Very clean and spacious Presidential Suite. Large furnished balcony with overhanging roof providing shade. Melissa was helpful in arranging taxis and cleaning service (every 2nd day).
Maintenance staff always gave lame excuses. We had to argue for 4 days to have a safety deposit box installed despite this being promised by the manager before we arrived. The 2nd day after we arrived, we bought several hundred USD worth of groceries locally only to discover that the fridge didn't work. It wasn't fixed until the 4th day of our 8 night stay so you can imagine how disappointed we felt. Noisy noisy noisy - due to ongoing onsite construction right outside the bedroom windows. One of the cleaning staff did not refill the dish soap dispenser but filled it with water!
The location was great for access to the beach. The beds were super comfortable and the air con worked brilliantly! The outdoor seating was nice also. We didn’t realise we would get alternate daily cleaning so that was a nice addition.
We had problems with the water pressure throughout our stay, in both the shower and the taps. There isn’t an oven at the property which made cooking limited. We were also expected to get our own washing up liquid which I thought was a bit cheeky. There was building work going on at the property- which would have been nice to know prior to booking/ getting to the property! It didn’t affect us too much as we were out most of the day but it would have been nice to know.
Location was great. We rented a car for the duration of our stay so were able to access supermarkets for food shopping and get around the island easily. Indian Bay beach is literally a 2-min walk, which our kids absolutely loved. We walked along the beach to where the water is calmer and so clear! The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Mostly liked the layout of the villa as it was family orientated. Cooking facilities were good; great selection of utensils etc. There was also a gazebo which we used frequently in the evenings. This was a nice space to sit outside and relax. There is a lovely breeze in the evenings. Towels and bedding were changed every two days but the staff were also happy to change these upon request. Would stay again if the villa's are updated a bit as the location was perfect.
I didn't like the half hotel/half air B&B vibe. As the staff provide cleaning and laundry services you are reliant on them to clean and can't do any laundry. I would have like at least a dust pan and brush to clean up after ourselves when returning from the beach. I think some of the villa's are being updated as ours was a bit older. For example, the shower in our villa was also outdated and hard to use with children as it was not a proper hose shower and the hot water didn't get hot enough, the main door was also tricky to lock. Unfortunately we also had several issues during our stay such as the gas container running out, water turned off and no electricity for the last day of our stay. While these issues are things that can happen, my main concern was that there is no 24-hour service therefore when the electricity went out in the evening we had nobody to contact and had to wait until our missed calls were seen the next morning when the staff arrived. I feel that this is quite a big issue as if anything happens after 7pm there is no way to get hold of anyone which means you have to wait until the next day to receive help. Apart from use of another villa to shower and get ready in, we were not offered a refund or anything for the day of lost electricity on our second to last day. All of our frozen goods and some things that we wanted to bring back with us had to be binned due to the lack of electricity. Lastly, there are ongoing construction works from 8am to 4pm, 6 days a week. This was not mentioned prior to booking and we were only informed when we checked in. Again, this is something that should be advertised so that people can decide if this is something they want to endure and not told at the last minute when they are checking in.
Property is very convenient to airport & public transportation. Staff are very friendly & helpful. They are available as needed and quick to respond to any questions, though out of sight and don’t overwhelm you. This is not a beachfront property with loungers, umbrellas and folks refilling your drinks, but the beach is a quick convenient under five minutes walk away. It is public, but I found it mostly empty each morning around 8am: my swim time. They are currently under construction, which did not bother me one bit, the noise was very minimal. The work is to add a restaurant and spa on the site which will be excellent and convenient as dining options are located elsewhere. La Vue was an easily accessible choice for dining or with a quick walk or transport more options are available. The supermarket and a convenient store are nearby. I was connected with a local taxi driver who took me around for a surcharge and he was as great as the staff members, he’s knowledgeable on the area, friendly and patient. We visited the Water Falls and I had it to my self for about 2 hours before others arrived, meditation at its best! This was my first solo trip, I felt fairly safe while being cautious and vigilant. My first visit to SVG, but prayerfully, not my last. I hope to return once the construction at this property is complete so I can experience the spa and new restaurant, as well as bask once again in the same peace and tranquility I experienced during this stay.
It’s a great location. Doesn’t look like it upon entry as it’s not right on the water. But down a small street and in less than 2 minutes you’re right on the local beach. There is currently no restaurant on site (they are renovating so this may change), but it’s a 5 minute walk up the street to a boutique hotel that has great food and beach club. The room was very clean and air conditioned. It was also a very spacious one bedroom with full kitchen and a small living room area. The staff was lovely and always checking in on me. I was traveling alone and felt very welcomed, safe and cared for. You will need transport to venture out, as it’s not close to many shops etc, but staff was great at connecting you with amazing local taxi men in the area. Thanks a lot StoneTrain, will be back soon!
This is a fantastic property with generally good location about 15 minute walk to strip of restaurants in Villa. Staff were generally nice however as someone who generally prefers solitude when staying at a hotel, I found the rules and service a bit intrusive at times.
Awesome place to stay!
Great play to stay and relax
Stonetrail Villas turned out to be the best choice I could have made when selecting a hotel for our visit to St. Vincent. The villa we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. The location is great for city bus access and a short walk to the beach. The staff is also wonderful and attentive. I would definitely return!
Unit was not a villa, but a suite within a two storey building. Kitchen was well equipped but lacked a few essentials as well as a dining table with chairs. Difficult to self-cater without a car as there were no nearby food stores. Excellent restaurant 10 minute walk out to the point (La Vue). Can also walk to Villa Beach along the beach (with a slight uphill section along a side street) where there are several hotel restaurants. Beach there is however quite ugly. Best part of staying at Stonetrail was the staff. Melissa, especially, was very helpful and friendly.
Lack of a restaurant. Would have preferred a stand-alone villa. Closest beach was too rough and rocky for swimming.
The houses are a nice concept, and the owner invested a lot in guests' comfort. To some extent, it is an oasis in one completely poorly governed country.
If you like to walk it is a little adventurous. People on the island are the kindest of the all Caribbean countries I visited, but the neighborhood is not easily and nicely walkable.
The environment was welcoming, my 3year old loved playing outside. It was like a home away from home. Staff were so nice and accommodating! Oh and the beach was literally a 2minutes walk with a 3yr old,
Mmm hard to say, the lack of a power gate. That would have been the perfect touch. But even that was not an issue, great place to stay
Excellent location near a lovely beach, 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the capital. Melissa, Alyssa and Jenny were exceptionally attentive and helpful. The villa was large, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We would love to go back in the future to spend more time in Vincy and at Stonetrail
Looking forward to the extra facilities when they are completed
The Stonetrail team was exceptionally helpful and attentive. I would recommend to anyone.
Everything was okay 🤝
But the wifi was not working for some reason
Ayessa and staff at Stonetrail was very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit.
A very nice cottage situated 100 m from a local beach
Building works were under way on the permises.
The staff the most, location second and finally the size of the room and the comforts provided. AC worked perfectly and had no issues with power. There are 110/60hz outlets alongside almost every 220vac outlet! If I didn’t mention it, the ladies and man that take care of guests and property are extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. They really make Stonetrail what it is.
The only thing that we thought we would change was that there is no division on the balcony between the honeymoon suite and the presidential suite. It caused no problems as we never once saw our neighbors but they and us would leave items out to dry on the balcony and it just seemed kind of awkward.
Fantastic friendly staff. They really took care of us during our stay. The bedrooms are really comfy. The kitchen is well fitted and has all the basic utensils. No washing machine, but laundry facilities are provided on site for a fee. The location is great. It is gated so you have ample security. It’s close to restaurants and Massy supermarket and of course the beach. My family and I spent a great two weeks there, we would love to got back
The Wi-Fi signal while inside the villa can be variable.
Friendly, respectful and helpful staff.
When I booked it said I had a washer and dryer in my villa;it was not in villa but on property and it cost Extra.
Staff brilliant
Amazing property
Alexis and the staff were great..Sharma, Zanique and Alicia went above and beyond. I will definitely be back.
They're currently expanding.
Great place to stay. Would recommend.
The guard on duty during Hurricane Berryl made sure we had running electricity by continuously going to fetch petrol for their generator.
Management showed a shocking disregard for guest safety during Hurricane Beryl, refusing our request for access to an empty upper-floor room as a precaution against potential flooding. The hotel was also undergoing renovations, leaving exposed rebar and unfinished cement work, creating a hazardous environment, as seen in the pictures attached.
The rooms themselves were outstanding and the staff is incredibly kind, helpful and responsive. Some construction on property is ongoing as they are expanding and access to restaurants, stores etc is not great but everything else is ideal.
The villa was great; well designed with all facilities required to make this a great stay. Beach was a two minute walk and a very nice restaurant about 10 minutes from the villa. Easy to get a tour of the island can recommend Trubb taxi tours The staff were lovely and made us very welcome

Perfect location with indian bay beach on our doorstep! a restaurant near by, If you drive its 10mins away from a local supermarket and randys (Corner shop) is a 10min walk from the villa. The staff were nice and helpful, helped us with getting us taxi’s and giving us directions and what ever we needed to make our stay pleasant it was lovely and i would stay here again.
The only downfall in my property the shower was very old school, the shower head is wall mounted and had light water pressure there was a white wire that is attached to it that sprinkled water on the other end (but did not work so well during our stay) the studio property my family had opposite to us had a mordern hand held shower hose which we had to use from time to time to get a good wash.
The location was fantastic and the staff could not be more welcoming. The beach was a 2 minute walk and the snorkeling right off the beach was amazing! We would love to stay again.
Nothing, great stay!
Second time staying here and it hasnt disappointed yet
The property was clean and spacious and the staff were amazing. I felt like I was coming home. The tour was perfect and the services offered were exceptional. I felt safe and comfortable at all times. Sharma (I think that is how her name is spelt) was phenomenal and the young man who was there on evenings was very helpful and courteous. We will definitelty go back again. My family and I really enjoyed it all.
Nothing! It was exceptional.
Proximity to the beach
A full length mirror is needed.
It was very spacious. Excellent kitchen facilities. Comfy bed. The balcony was a lovely place to chill. Two minute walk to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nice place inside, outside is a construction site. Very nice room, amenities. Casey was running the property-very nice guy. EZ walk to LaVue Grille. Recommend if you want a kitchen, etc.
Stonetrail Villas exceeded my expectations. From my reservation to checkout, the service was exquisite. When I first booked, every questioned I emailed was answered. Upon arrival, we met Sharmra. What a beautiful soul. Always pleasant and always has a smile on her face . She gave us a tour and showed us how everything works. Which was truly appreciated. The rooms were spotless. No dust, no bugs, super clean. I was very surprised. She checked in on us and made sure we had anything and everything we needed. Zonnique and Alicia were also very helpful. Especially at checkout. Alicia was very helpful with our baby boy. Zonnique was always there to help. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We walked to the beach daily and the sound of the waves put us to sleep even faster. Although there is construction on the property, it is so peaceful and quiet. Stonetrail, your staff are the best and because of this we will be back. Thank you ladies for making this a wonderful trip

Near to the beach.
Expensive for what it was. A long walk to anywhere nice to eat/drink - the hotel near by isn't much good. Long winded check in with multiple forms to sign. Jack and Jill bathroom in the 2 bed apartment that is really only ok for families. Right next to a truck yard which looks really ugly as you arrive.
I very much enjoyed staying here. It is still being built up . But That caused no issues for us . As with many parts of the Caribbean you do have some derelict buildings around . So it is not perfect , but it is perfect for me . The staff are fantastic . The units ( we were in a space for 2) are great . There was a resident cat that knew not to come in the apartment but was so happy to greet us . I'd stay here again .
staff were super friendly, honeymoon suite was perfect size for the two of us
I was surprised how big my Villa was very spacious. Complete with balcony for relaxing. The staff were over the top friendly and catered to my every need. Will stay there again if I can
There were 2 staff members who helped my mum who was critically ill get out of the minivan and into the villas. They also helped her to get into the toilet as mum was not mobile. They provided extra care with bathroom care and bedside care and turned mum down for bedtime. This was way beyond anything a hotel can offer and these ladies did me a huge favour and helped me care for my mum. This to me is priceless. I cannot thank them enough.
nothing
Clean and quaint. Close to the beach. Friendly staff.
The door was nearly impossible to lock. Very aggravating. Dogs barking at night across the street. Check in process was awkward.
The owner was very helpful. The property was. Dry nice and clean!
My villa was very nice and well equipped, and the people there were very friendly and helpful. Indian Bay Beach is only a short walk away, but there are no facilities there. There are no amenities near to Stonetrail Villas except La Vue Resort on the hill above. Access to Villa hotels and restaurants is by a long walk along the main highway, and there is no direct access to Villa Beach except a long walk up and over a high promontory. Best is if you have a car, or take taxis.
My mom and I stayed at this property for a week and were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The staff were also friendly, helpful and ensured your needs were always taken care off. Particularly, they allowed my elderly father to visit and stay over on multiple occasions - which was very important to me. I would 100% recommend Stonetail Villas to future guests, and likely, stay there again when I return to St Vincent.
There is some building work going on. However, this did not affect our stay. To the contrary, I am looking forward to seeing the completed villas.
It was amazing and I love the interior.
Amazing pillows, amazing rooms, next to the beach
Nothing
Super clean, fully equipped kitchen, even though no restaurant on site, but you can cook if you want. Location is very close to the beach, about 100 meters, 5 mins walk to La Vue Beach club, 15 mins walk to supermarket to 20 mins drive to Kingstown.
There is a construction going on in the property, they start at 9am in the morning when we stayed there, but by 10am we’re out of the villa to explore anyway, and i dont see them working in the afternoon, so it was fine for us, but maybe something you need to know.
Staff was exceptional. Friendly helpful and insightful. Villa was private. Area was quite. Beach is about 2.minutes from door. Grocery store about 10 minute walk. Bank and a. Small shopping center nearby as well. For a restaurant there is a Hotel nearby. Otherwise you cook for yourself.
The Villa was a bit dark and the AC was that strong during the day, it also needs to be updated. We were placed in one of the apartments because the Villa AC was out but had to move because the door didn't lock. Other than that not much to complain about.
The location
The villa is currently located on a noisy building site, with workmen who regularly pass near back windows so there is a lack of privacy. The owner enjoys playing ridiculously loud music in the evening. The smell of sewage in the bathroom. The overpriced charge for laundry for a small load $25 considering it’s self catering they don’t have a washing machine installed. Apart from the lovely cleaners who were always friendly and kind the actual owners themselves are disorganised and do not have any concept of customer service. The bigger issue that we had despite paying for our booking we were constantly harassed throughout the holiday to keep completing booking/payment details. They confessed that they were already aware of the issue as this had occurred with many customers before us but still they did not think to correspond and complete these details prior to our arrival. We arrived in the evening after an 11hour flight with no basic items such as soap, dish soap, tea, coffee or sugar available. Things that you would expect even in a self catering apartment (we have stayed at quite a few) overall it’s not a cheap place to stay and it is not family friendly (young kids) as there is a building/site during the day and a club during the night with a unhygienic odour of sewage in the bathroom.
Excellent place!!!
