Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The room was very comfortable and clean. It met all of our needs and more. It was perfect walking distance from disneyland and there is a Mc Donald’s right next door!
nothing!!
The location is convenient to Disneyland.
The property was under full renovation with no disclosure on the booking page, drilling outside our room, open linen bins stacked in the parking lot and visible from our window, a spider on our bedding, and toilets that wouldn’t flush. The staff was combative when we raised concerns.
TIENE UNA EXCELENTE UBICACION PARA VISITAR LOS PARQUES DE DISNEY!! MUY BUEN SERVICIO DEL PERSONAL. EXCELENTE ATENCION. LAS HABITACIONES COMODAS Y LIMPIAS.
ESTABAN REMODELANDO EL LOBBY Y LA RECEPCION, PERO EN GENERAL BIEN
Location is great for Disney. The room was comfortable. Currently having work done but it didn’t affect our stay.
Location is very near Disneyland which is great.
Hotel gg thru renovation and it’s kind of noisy.
Great location Comfortable Wonderful staff
Pool and in room bunk beds!
It was under construction, but the remodel will be nice.
The location was great.
The construction and inconvenience of availability. Being woken up to hammering and load saw sounds was not ideal for the cost nor a vacation.
Rooms were clean! That staff was super friendly and helpful!
I wasn’t aware of the massive construction that was happening during the time of our stay. However, I think the staff did an excellent job of making do with the situation.
Wished we had beforehand knowledge about the renovations.
How close it is to the parks. Rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly.
we were never told prior to the booking that the hotel was under renovations. The toilet was extremely low. The pillows were very hard.
Availability and proximity to destination and there were plenty of towels
Active renovation construction on the adjoining room, so no afternoon nap break. The toilet stuck when flushed and the water kept running. The odd placement of the beverage station and mini fridge in the bathroom. The nonexistent enclosed hanging space. The only hanging space was in the bathroom.
Really close to Disneyland

A 5min del parque de disneyland.Eramos 4 y el tamaño de la habitacion bien y las camas muy comodas.
Estaban en obras pequeñas y habia bastante polvo y ruido.
Close to Disneyland
I told them we had two mobility scooters due to be in handicap. They told me the room was accessible. I scraped my hand a few times trying to get in and out the door very cramped. They told me I had to keep the chairs in the room, cause the room to be even more crowded. The toilet did not work. It would stay on the air conditioning would not turn off then it wouldn’t turn on. It had a lot of condensation. I took pictures of it for the outside of the room overall, it was just horrible trying to get clean towels had to go down found out. It was all the way outside. You could wait again took pictures of where they were keeping the clean towels just not good experience at all. I thought they could’ve accommodated trying to get in and out of that elevator with my mobility scooter and I’m over 75 years old was very hard.
Proximity to Disneyland excellent
Reception staff very average. I asked for extra blankets for my children twice and never received them.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offered us early check in so we wouldn't have to leave our bags in the lobby. We would stay here again.
Nothing. The trip went very well.
Proximity to Disney
The light in the bathroom
We had a rough stay. We stayed here recently and had a genuinely frustrating experience due to a plumbing issue. Most of the staff are extraordinarily kind. The location is prime for easy access to the parks. It has a gift shop with almost everything you could possibly need and depending on your room location it is possible to see the fireworks. However, the hotel is presently in a poor state. We stayed during a weekend when we were told the construction was unlikely to be a problem. I don't know if the room we stayed in had recently been redone or was waiting to be redone but its tub apparently leaked into the room beneath us. During my first shower on the property after a long drive down the night before there was a knock at the door. Maintenance informed us that our bathroom was leaking into the room below. The maintenance guy said when we were out of the tub and ready to be out of the room to give a call down to the front desk so maintenance could have access to the room. Annoying and unexpected but understandable. I got out of the tub as soon as I could and began to get my family ready for a day at Disney. While already rushing to get ready, we got a phone call from an employee who came across as borderline hostile once I told her it would probably be an hour thirty before we were out of the room. She implied we weren't vacating the room quickly enough for maintenance to get in. I explained the water was no longer running. This was not satisfactory to her. I had to fire back that I have a young child and nothing with young children is quick, especially not getting ready to leave the house for multiple hours. For 350 a night no one expects to be guilted about using the shower let alone not leaving the room fast enough for maintenance of a facility problem. Insane. We left our room to give them space to work as soon as we could. And we called down to let the staff know it was possible to work while we were gone. We spent several hours across the street at Disney and came back exhausted, hot, and ready to just rinse off and relax. We showered and almost immediately, the phone began ringing! Great... This time it was a nicer staff member, but the message was the same: the leak was happening again, and maintenance needed to come to the room a third time. Unfortunately, this call came right during my preschooler's nap time, which made the timing especially disruptive. When you disturb the nap time, you disturb the day and the capacity to go back to the park after naptime. Again, for 350 a night one expects reasonable continuous access to the room to carry on all the normal daily functions of living. If I wanted plumbing problems disturbing my day I could have targeted a stay at a lower quality hotel with worse reviews. Instead I chose to stay here under the incorrect assumption it would be a problem free stay. At that point, I asked to be moved to a different room entirely, since it was clear the issue hadn't actually been fixed the first time and I didn't want to risk a fourth interruption. Also, we just wanted to be able to use the shower! The move to the new room was handled well. They brought a baggage cart, 75 dollar gift card compensation and comped us one night of parking. So, that's 105 dollars out of 1050 on a three night stay. Does that seem proportional to you for throwing off a whole day? The inability to relax and use our room and its facilities was also impacting our ability to enjoy Disney. We were making it work. But, that was *us* choosing to ignore how bizarre the whole experience was. For a room priced at $350 a night (we had a suite), I expected a functioning bathroom at minimum, and definitely didn't expect to have my family's day and more concerningly my kids's nap disrupted because of a maintenance issue that should have been resolved after the first report. The second night, after the most chaotic of days, I fell asleep on the couch of our new room. When I woke up there was a giant silverfish on the wall next to me. Cool, cool. A darling sentinel greeting bug of what I would then notice were many lurking about the place. Perhaps this is related to the overall water intrusion issues? At this point all I could do was sigh. This place is falling apart. Most of the people are so nice you feel guilty for saying anything about it. But, at present, it is definitely not Marriott quality. They're probably going to say this review is related to the construction going on at the hotel. And maybe it indeed is. But, maybe the hotel should also be closed until it gets a handle on all its problems. It was a birthday weekend. And it was Disney. So, it's really hard to view the whole thing negatively. But, holy hell man. Staying here is a real gamble with your time and stress levels. I wouldn't do it again.
Walking distance to Disneyland.
The noise in the morning from the workers upstairs very loud. We were told it may be noisy.
The proximity to the park was exactly what we needed. They also allowed us to park (for an extra charge) on checkout day so we didn’t have to move the car midday, which was appreciated.
Parking is valet only, and it’s quite loud in the rooms, though not as loud as some other Harbor Blvd hotels. When we arrived there was an issue with our reservation. It hadn’t gone through properly from Booking.com, and the person at check in made it sound as if I’d booked on some black market website when she said “well you didn’t book directly with us, so…” when she told me they were fully booked for the night, as I showed her my confirmation on the Booking.com app. We were a family of 4, and they tried putting us in a room that only fit 3 (single sofa bed and one king sized bed, no room for another cot), and made it seem like I just had to accept it as it was their last available room. Once I told them I knew my rights and would be happy to be walked next door to the Courtyard, a room suddenly just finished being repaired, and we were finally able to get situated. But the whole debacle took nearly an hour, and I had to be really firm with them otherwise we’d have had one kid sleeping in the bathtub I guess, given that they thought a 3-person room was suitable and “the only option” for our family of 4. The rest of the hotel and the stay was fine, but being treated like we did something wrong at check in, for booking through a platform site, and for a hotel software error, and having to argue my way into a suitable room, was a real sour way to start our trip.
Every staff member greets you daily. Parking although valet, was great not having to stress about where to find parking. Overall great experience.
Na
Location close to Disney. Parking on site.
Our room was a bit tired. Although there did seem to be some upgrades happening.
Location
The noise from the AC It was horrible
Close to parks Good car park Room was decent size for 3 people
Didn’t replenish coffee cups everyday, had to ask
Great location
The plugs next to the bed did not work. We had to resort to plugging in our phones/chargers in the bathroom or on the floor lamp. And with having multiple things to plug it was a mission to accommodate us.
Location to Disneyland
Nothing
I’ve stayed here multiple tomes and never had a bad experience until now. While the room is clean and it is convenient due to location, the noise is unbearable. There is a consistent, loud rumbling sound like an airplane constantly flying over, but it’s not airplanes. Even wearing earplugs does not help. A no other reviewer mentioned noise from the elevators- perhaps this is the culprit. Whatever you do, don’t stay in room 604.
Adequate room size. Helpful staff.
It was fairly close to Disneyland within walking distance
They were under construction and our room, faced the construction site and all the lumber and workers and everything else we had asked for the Disneyland side. We did not get it.
This hotel used to be one of our go-to hotels for Disneyland trips, NO LONGER. I was informed when I called the hotel that the property no longer allowed ECV’s onsite or in the rooms. The hotel makes no provisions for guests who have legitimate mobility challenges. They also don’t put on their site that guests with mobility challenges are not welcome. I am glad I called before it was too late to cancel. I also cancelled a reservation for Jun. As a titanium elite I have stayed in many hotels and all of the Marriott properties in Anahiem. This is the only one stating guests with ECV’s aren’t welcome. The no-frills Fairfield won’t get any of my business going forward.
Great to Disney, Clean, and staff are always nice and very helpful. Definitely will stay again.

I love the location & the rooms are always kept clean
Our only problem was our orange juice & milk froze in the fridge & we couldn’t use them for breakfast
I am currently staying at the Fairfield Anaheim Resort, we checked in yesterday and will be checking out Sunday. Needless to say we have had multiple issues in the 24 hours we have been here that are totally unacceptable by any Marriott standards, we are here for my daughters 18th birthday and thus far your property has ruined day 1 in a sizable way. 1. At no point in the booking process via Bonvoy app was there mention of construction - this morning at 9:00 am there was massively excessive noise in the room next door - a super loud buzzing/sawing for 20 mins at a time. 2. As per the screenshot directly off the Marriott website for this property, we choose this partially based on the fact there is a fitness center as indicated in pictures. Needless to say, finding out that it is closed upon our check in was a major disappointment. 3. This morning at 9:00 am - we had zero power in our bathroom, like how is this possible? I called and spoke to Sabrina and she sent someone up but said there should be power - there was not. So something is wrong with the electricity in the room. Not having power in a bathroom is totally unacceptable under any circumstance and not being given a reason is worse. 4. Tonight, our sink was fully clogged and dirty backwater was coming up - so again, called to have it fixed. How is this ok? We have been here literally 24 hours and have no gym, no power randomly, and no sink drainage. Fully unacceptable.
How closest it was to the park.
The rat that ran in front of me by the front of lobby
The first night of my stay, I was relocated twice. The initial room change occurred due to concerns regarding possible bedbugs, which the staff also acknowledged as a legitimate concern. I was advised to wash any belongings that may have come into contact with the bedding, resulting in me spending more than two hours of the first night of my vacation doing laundry. The second room I was assigned had personal belongings left behind by previous guests, and although the third room initially appeared clean, I later discovered a dirty bathing suit hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I was informed the following morning that Ecolab had inspected the original room and determined the insects were not bedbugs. However, when I politely requested to review the report for peace of mind, I was met with a rude response and told the report was not available. All of these issues occurred during the very first night of my stay. Over the following three nights, I continued to experience problems including inconsistent housekeeping, television connection issues, and a motion-activated bathroom light that would shut off after less than a minute. The bathroom light switch was ultimately replaced on the final night of my stay. The majority of the staff were wonderful, and I want to recognize the managers who genuinely tried to assist by moving me to a different room and addressing my concerns once the bedbug issue arose. Their efforts to ease the situation were appreciated. That said, I was disappointed with how the overall matter was resolved. The compensation provided consisted of waived parking fees ($140), a $7 reimbursement for laundry expenses incurred while washing potentially contaminated clothing, a $100 gift card for the inconvenience of being moved between three rooms on the first night, and a partial refund of the Bonvoy points used for that evening. Beyond this, no additional accommodation was offered. Given the circumstances, I would have expected either a full reimbursement of my Bonvoy points or at minimum a complimentary night. Instead, I paid more than $1,350 for three nights, in addition to still be charged 20,000 points for one night, for what turned out to be a highly stressful and far from relaxing stay. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling more like an inconvenience than a valued guest. Housekeeping standards clearly need significant improvement to prevent situations like this from occurring in the future.
The staff was super friendly and room was well stocked
Room was changed last minute because they sold out of the original room I booked I payed for a single king bed and they moved me to a double queen
Myself and my wife had a great stay at this hotel. Room was comfortable, clean and the location for Disneyland is perfect. Coming back from the park one night a gift was left for me as it was my birthday. This was really nice and never happened to me before. We would stay here again no problem.
We stayed for one week in May. I can't recommend this hotel enough! The location was perfect for disneyland resort. The staff were absolutely amazing! We had a problem with our room door, the issue was dealt with swiftly and efficiently by the reception team and Radu (maintenance). Thank you all so much for a great stay!!
It was close to Disneyland
I requested Disneyland side. I booked two rooms and they put me on the back side of the hotel overlooking all their construction material and the noise of the workers we went Wednesday Thursday Friday, and you could hear the workers.
Very close to disneyland
Older Rooms
Location was easy walking distance to Disneyland and local restaurants
Pool was too cold ( heard many complain at poolside) and construction going on in other rooms
Clean, close to Disneyland
Lots of restaurants around
A great hotel - but what makes it stand out is the amazing staff at the front desk. Everytime you walk past - there is a "good morning" or "welcome back" - and it makes the hotel feel like coming home.
The bathrooms are a little bit dated - but they are still fine.
Proximity to Disneyland, clean room
Since the rooms are not accessible from inside a building and therefore all doors are open to a balcony, there is a lot of outside noise. In addition the housekeeping carts are very loud
My experience at the Fairfield was a 6/10. During my two-day stay, I did not see housekeeping service the room at all. I had to request towels and bed sheets each time I needed them. On my first day, while laying on one of the beds, I noticed one of the sheets had what appeared to be blood stains. The restroom also felt unclean, and there were what appeared to be pubic hairs on the floor. Additionally, the refrigerator had a strong and unpleasant odor. The TV internet connection was very slow, and there was no microwave available in the room. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and basic housekeeping service.
Very close to Disneyland
Greeting from front desk staff, cleanliness
Nothing
Great location, clean and attentive staff
Location is great for Disneyland. The staff is great (with one small exception, see below). The rooms are large, with plenty of space for people and bags.
Desk clerk at checkin was confusing and unhelpful; she tried to tell me I shouldn't pay with my debit card because the deposit would come out multiple times because it can be used like an ATM. What? The parking/valet was also a big problem. The hotel has currently blocked off ALL parking at the back of the building, so there aren't enough spaces. This means that the valets are double- and triple-parking them, including blocking self-park spaces and the entire handicap-accessible section.
BEWARE if they put you in 101/102/103 or any rooms on any of the 9 floors ending in 01/02/03 YOU WILL hear all 4 elevators running constantly. It’s obscenely loud and THEY KNOW IT. One of the front desk ladies said “they try not to put people there”
Location and staff
Dated, we were put in the back on the first floor where I think they were doing construction. Always people loading and unloading something
Location is great.
We have stayed here many times and typically choose to stay here when going to Disney. It just made sense when we chose to go this time for our honeymoon. When we arrived, the staff let us know that our king room which we paid extra for was overbooked and we were put in a double. We let them know it was our honeymoon and we’d like the king and had paid extra. We weren’t compensated for the difference and we were stuck with the double room for our honeymoon. The toilet barely worked and the room was a mess. It was a total bummer. We’ve stayed here for years and they let us down on our honeymoon and didn’t seem to care about it or compensate the difference or anything. We will choose a different location going forward.
to be recognize as a Royal Ambassador,Diamond member
Not receiving the perks, I usually receive when I stay in an ihg hotel group.
The location was great.
Bathroom was small.
Room for a 3 star hotel comfortable and big, bathroom good
I did not get a bill. They claim they do not know the price while they (Fairfield) sent me a mail with the price. Simply does not add up. Disappointing
It was a little underwhelming but in a good location. Construction made it feel dingy. For the price I expected more.
Construction. No bonvoy perks of any sort.
This is a place you stay at for the location and not much else. It’s a 5 min door to door walk to Disneyland/California Adventure… and after walking 20,000 to 30,000 steps a day it’s so nice to not have a long walk back to the hotel or needing to wait for a taxi (it’s even closer than if you parked at Disney) There is a sundries/gift shop in the lobby where you can get souvenirs, snacks, sunscreen etc In the same parking lot as the hotel (more like a motel as doors are on the outside) there is a McDonald’s and Panera making breakfast or snacks easy and convenient
The property is dated and needs a refresh. It was clean for sure but had rust stains around the bathtub drain and the doors and furniture were cracked/peeling from years of wear. I paid over $1,000 for three nights and if it had any other location it would be maybe worth $300 tops.
Location and value
on site breakfast
My family of 7 booked 2 rooms for 5 nights here. We went to Disneyland parks so we were very happy with how close this hotel was. On one very rainy day, we needed a few extra towels. Within 15 minutes a large stack was brought to our room. Customer service was incredible. Even though it was chilly out, we even enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub! I would stay here again!
Great location. Able to walk to parks quickly in the morning to start our day. Rooms were fine and basic. The room was clean enough. Would stay again just for the proximity to the parks. We got a grocery delivery to deliver some breakfast muffins and drinks for us in the mornings so we could get to the park quickly. If I were to stay again I would ask for a room that is not against the elevators. Constant noise.
Location (proximity to.Disneyland); nearby affordable restaurants; friendly, helpful staff. Good info about Disneyland's hours, restaurants and ticketing requirements.
No breakfast available--very disappointing! The HVAC in the room was rather noisy, and the t.v. had channels(?) for Netflix and other premium services but no way to access those channels.
The location was great especially if you’re going to Disneyland the walk wasn’t far at all. They is also a McDonald’s right at the top of the parking lot in case you have kids that need something quick and easy to eat. The pool is big and the hot tub is cozy.
They don’t have breakfast, so keep that in mind if you have kids.
Close to Disneyland and California Adventure
Parking was tight
What we like about the property is the convenient location, helpful, friendly staff. Never have experienced any disappointment and we’ve stayed several times.
There was no breakfast but it was close to the park
Free breakfast
Staff is Amazing! Love location for Disneyland trip.
Quieter air conditioning
The location and customer service couldn’t be beat. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and I couldn’t hear neighbors at all. I appreciated the fridge in the room and microwave and toaster options in the arcade room. The staff was so sweet and made us feel at home.
Overpriced for two vehicles!!
??????
Room was very spacious and staff were super friendly!!
There was nothing not to like! Only suggestion I can make is it needs a Starbucks somewhere on the property. Had to keep walking over to courtyard Marriott every morning.
It’s a great location. Great staff.
Location and staff
Hubby and I recently stayed at this Fairfield location recently while visiting Disneyland. The check-in process was straightforward and our room was ready on time. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. We only had our rental car for a few days and not being charged the parking fee for the whole stay wasn’t a problem. The location of our room was great, with the room facing DL. We saw the DL fireworks but from an awkward angle. The room itself was small but adequate. The shower pressure was actually quite good, especially for California. It’s a 10 minute walk to DL security, so coming back mid-day for naps was convenient. There’s also a Panera near the parking lot of the hotel, which was great for early morning breakfasts before hitting the park. The beds were really comfortable, more comfortable than other Fairfield beds that we’ve slept on. We would definitely stay here again!
From the moment we arrived, this Marriott made our Disneyland trip simple and stress free. The hotel is a short, easy walk across Harbor Boulevard, so we parked once and did not use the car again until checkout two days later. Valet and self-parking were well organized, and the staff managed the busy Christmas week crowd with calm efficiency. The building has a mid-century modern look and is well kept. Our room was clean and comfortable. I upgraded to a Disney theme room. It was cheerful and practical, though not as over the top as I had hoped. Housekeeping kept everything tidy, and the bed was a welcome place to rest after long park days. We did not eat in the hotel, but there are plenty of nearby options. Panera Bread is next door and McDonald’s is close by. A short walk brings you to several restaurants serving Mexican and Italian food. That was handy because we could not get reservations at the restaurants in Downtown Disney or inside the parks. Inside the hotel there is an independent shop with a good selection of Disney merchandise at lower prices than the park. That was a great find for souvenirs. Security was visible in the parking areas, which made us feel safe when walking to and from Harbor Blvd. The staff were professional and kept operations running smoothly. For travelers who prefer Marriott and want the easiest access to Disneyland, this hotel is a solid choice. It delivers convenience, consistent service, and a location that makes visiting the park much less stressful. Overall, our stay was convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable. The location is the main draw, and that convenience turned a busy holiday visit into a relaxed and memorable trip.
I will start this off by stating that I am a Marriott elite and should be treated better than the average persona staying here. The reason I picked this hotel is because I got a good rate, and it appeared to be close to Disneyland. When doing research before booking, the most reliable description that I got of the property is "reliably mediocre." That seems to have been an overstatement. The hotel looks close on the map, but is actually set far back from the street. If you want to stay on a sidewalk as you make your way out to Harbor, you have to walk past the Panera entrance. Most folks seemed to choose to walk in the driveway if it was unoccupied. I did not get early check in. They didn't even offer it for a fee. They were going to give me a welcome gift when I arrived, but, as I didn't have a room to put it in, that wasn't going to be very useful to me. I was directed to a location to have my bags stored, but no one appeared to help me. I eventually got the attention of a security guy who called in someone. I came back after spending the day in the parks to get a room. I was assigned a low floor even though I had requested a high floor. Doors open to the outside, motel style. The air conditioning units dump water onto the walkways, which can make them slippery. My room faced the street. There was a lot of noise from the parking lot below, trash trucks early in the morning, and the fireworks. The fireworks were very loud. Like room-shaking loud. The ceiling speaker had been painted over. The painters had apparently been too lazy to remove and then reinstall the cover. There was masking tape stuck on it, which had clearly not masked anything off. There was some bizarre art in room. One piece included a picture of the Mad Tea Party (teacups) at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Another showed a ferris wheel that looks similar to, but definitely is not the Pixar Pal Around at California Adventure, with fireworks. There are no fireworks at California Adventure. The floor was dirty. As far as I can tell, it was never properly cleaned during my entire stay. The bedding was stained. One of the hand towels that was initially in the room was stained. Later was left a new bath towel that shed lint everywhere, as if it had never been washed. I spent the rest of my trip picking bright white lint off of my clothing and stuff. The shower had a cloth curtain prone to leaking. This was compounded by not being wide enough. Despite efforts, I always ended up with water on the floor. Housekeeping would rearrange my personal items for no apparent reason. They also always left the window shades fully open, allowing anyone to see into my room. And I never got that welcome gift. Clearly, this hotel is skating by on their address. And not even that is not being honest with the customer. I have stayed at a number of hotels near Disneyland, and this one is clearly near the bottom. I will not stay here again, and I would suggest that everyone else look elsewhere for a decent stay.
