Palazzo San Giovanni Amalfi Coast

Ein wirklich ruhiges Juwel in dem Trubel der Amalfiküste. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und großzügig, sehr sauber, der Blick ist fantastisch, der Pool wunderbar. Mit nur 11 Zimmern strahlt die ganze Anlage eine große Ruhe aus. 2 sehr nette Restaurants in direkter Nähe in dem süßen Ort, ein keiner Tante-Emmaladen für das Nötigste ebenfalls. Frühstück ist gut, nicht übermäßig viel Auswahl, aber sehr lecker, das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett. Das Auto kann sicher geparkt werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Das WLAN könnte besser sei, speziell, da man dort in den Bergen auch keine guten mobilen Empfang hat. Die Anbindung per Bus ist etwas schwierig, da der Bus nur selten am Tag den Abstecher in den Ort macht - dann muss man etwas weiter laufen - Autofahren ist generell schwierig dort

The fantastic location with amazing views, the big, comfortable and clean rooms, and the kind and super helpful staff.

Preparation for breakfast could be made better since everyone scrambles for a view and some shade. Having the parasols open before the guests sit down and the tables better arranged and chairs fully clean would make the experience even better. It's a wonderful terrace to have breakfast in!

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce z pięknym widokiem. Czyste duże apartamenty dobrze wyposażone. Pyszne sniadania i kawa.pokoj z tarasem i widokiem. Z basenu piękne widoki. Śniadanie na tarasie w ogrodzie z widokiem. Z hotelu wychodzi się od razu na klimatyczny ryneczek. Obok sa 2 resturacja widokowe z pysznym jedzeniem i normalnych cenach. Do sklepu Despar piechota krętymi wąskim drogami około 15 min. Do Amalfi schodkami przy pięknych widokach i ogrodach cytrynowym. Powrót zalecamy autobusem 1.5€ kurs z Amalfi czy Atrani. Nad miasteczkiem jest Ravello można wieczorem autobusem podjechać na kolację i kolejne piękne widoki. Obiekt ma doskonała lokalizację dla osób zwiedzających.

Hôtel très agréable, l’équipe est chaleureuse, la vue est magnifique. Tout les équipements sont spacieux et confortables, rien à redire.

The location was stunning and whilst there is a small walk up some steps with luggage, the vista was worth it. There are 2 restaurants close by both of which provided good quality food of a little expensive. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was gorgeous.

The lack of sun beds around the pool was a little disappointing. There were 6 beds but around 12 rooms so not everyone could make use of the pool if required.

Breakfast was excellent, cleanliness is spotless, very good costumer service.

I thought the pool surroundings like the grass and weeds were a bit neglected but i saw the ground keeper was on it the next day. So I think I did not see any problem. Maybe, try to invest more to increase the speed and coverage of the wifi.

Det eneste dårlig jeg har at sige er 2 ting. Wifi virker næsten aldrig og der er næsten intet signal på telefonen og at de kræver 25 euro for parkering pr. nat er rip off.

This B&B was absolutely stunning — truly one of the highlights of our road trip through Italy. The room was modern, beautifully designed, and had a spectacular view. Breakfast was amazing, and we loved sitting outside each morning, taking in the scenery. The pool was fantastic: very clean, well maintained, and a perfect place to relax. The location is excellent too — only about 15 minutes by bus to Amalfi, and there are three great restaurants/bars just a short walk away. Highly recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay even better.

Gutes Frühstück alles was man braucht. Unser Zimmer war mit Blick auf die Amalfiküste. Sehr beindruckend. Wir gingen auch die 850 Stufen runter und wieder rauf. Es gibt Wege zu schönen Aussichtspunkten auf Atrani und Amalfi. Rundherum gab es Zitronenbäume die auch gerade geerntet wurden. Der Pool war sehr sauber.Gute Restaurants gab es in der näheren Umgebung.

It was beautiful, breakfast was great, the staff was helpful.

For a first time visitor to the Amalfi Coast, figuring out how to get to the hotel from Amulfi was a bit of a challenge. We took the bus to Scala, which was far away from the resort, And then had to taxi over to the resort which is technically in Pontone. Knowing which bus to take would have been helpful.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The view from the terrace and pool area is beautiful. There are some very good restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Not suitable for disabled travellers. There are 75 steps from the end of the road to the hotel (fewer if you opt to travel by bus but the stop is further away). The correct address is Pontone di Scala. Scala is on the opposite hillside.

El desayuno muy bueno y completo . Gina que nos atendía muy amable y cordial. La vista de la habitación vale por todo lo demas, imperdible.

Un poco complicada la llegada en autobus porque no todos ingresan a Pontone que es en donde esta ubicado el hotel. Si la pileta fuera climatizada seria perfecto

Außergewöhnlich Lage mit Blick auf Amalfi, zu Fuß geht man einen schönen Weg von 45 Minuten vom Hotel bis direkt nach Amalfi! Ruhige Lage, ein paar Restaurants direkt neben dem Hotel. Schöne saubere Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, Parkplätze vorhanden, schöner Pool.

Unser Zimmer war auf der Rückseite und daher etwas muffiger Geruch durch die Feuchtigkeit. Der Pool war an den beiden letzten Tagen sehr kühl, zu wenige Sonnenliegen. Nachts leuchten Scheinwerfer direkt in die hinteren Zimmer, es gibt aber dicke Vorhänge.

Situé au-dessus d’Amalfi, donc au calme, alors que c’est l’effervescence au bord de la mer. Très propre, la chambre était immense et la terrasse aussi. Le personnel adorable. Et on conseille le restaurant juste à côté, l’Antico Borgo.

Camera ampia con vista mare, ottima colazione. Posizione strategica per visitare amalfi e ravello. Parcheggio a pagamento disponibile in zona o privato della struttura.

Breakfast was lovely location perfect and nice to be able to sit outside having our breakfast over look the Amalfi.

It is a wonderfully situated property with amazing views of Amalfi and the sea. Our room was large and airy with balcony and cooking facilities. All kept spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Best of all-the charming, helpful and cheerful staff

Les chambres sont impeccablement propres et le jacuzzi sur la terrasse a été un véritable atout, rendant le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux et varié, offrant de quoi satisfaire tous les goûts. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant et attentionné. Le village de Pontone est charmant, avec quelques restaurants accessibles en une minute à pied, idéal pour dîner tranquillement loin de l’agitation des zones plus touristiques. Enfin, la vue depuis la chambre est tout simplement superbe.

The view, the room, the pool, the feeling of the local quiet little village after the day around.

You need to plan how to get around. But once you manage it, is ok. If you come by bus check when the bus is going to station Pontone, not Pontone Bivolo. The steps to the Amalfi are fine withouth luggage, but you need a bus to get up.

I honestly don’t think you could find a better place to stay. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of everything, just steps from the beach, close to all the main attractions, and with easy access to public transport, including the bus station nearby. The apartment itself is fully equipped with everything you might need, making the stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. It’s clear that attention has been paid to every detail, so you can truly relax and enjoy your time without worrying about anything. Whether you're visiting for a short getaway or a longer stay, this place offers the ideal combination of comfort, accessibility, and an unbeatable location. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and perfectly situated accommodation.

La vue est incroyable. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner en extérieur avec une très belle vue. La piscine est top. Les chambres sont rénovées et confortables, propres. Un grand merci à l’équipe pour l’attention pour mon anniversaire.

Odeur d’humidité dans la chambre

The property is really nice, with a pool and a view of the surrounding hills. Compared to the crowds in Amalfi, the village where the hotel is is a blessing without crowds with piece and quiet. Might be different in the peak of the season compared to begining of April but still great experience.

Breakfast could be a bit better as there is a limited selection of food options, still we had enough at every breakfast and were not hungry. Please be aware that there is 1800 steps from Amalfi to the hotel, although this is not a negative thing in any way.

Fantastisk utsikt. Mycket bra frukost. Fanns inget att klaga på. Charmig liten ort Pontone. Vi åt vid restaurangen som låg precis intill, jättegod pizza. Drack det godaste loka vinet i den lilla lokalpuben, samt köpte bussbiljett.

First the place is amazing full of nature and Amalfi Coast ocean view. Is a little town so the breakfast was perfect. Is great for hikers because is on the mountain. Just be prepared for few bus hours from there to Amalfi downtown. IDA AND HELENA from the reception were super warm and nice!!

Only that you have to take a bus, stairs to Amalfi are hard and is like 40 minutes. If you love hiking this is the place.

Tout , le calme du village , le blu bar , les offres de restaurant sur place l’emplacement stratégique de l’hôtel la qualité de la prestation fait totalement oublier les 60 marches pour accéder. Liaison facile pour Amalfi ou RAVELLO loin du tumulte et de l’agitation de la côte.Propreté irréprochable, décoration sans faille, petits déjeuners somptueux.

Check in was great the lady at the desk was friendly and efficient. Parking is a challenge if you drive to the location.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast each morning was lovely. The location is a bit far from amalfi but the views cant be beat. The bus system is good for getting to and from the resort once you get used to it. The bar at the end of the lane has the bus schedule and tickets.

It was a great resort

L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Ravello. Il permet d’être sur place avant l’arrivée de la horde des touristes. Parfait aussi pour rejoindre Minori et Atrani/ Amalfi. Nous étions en scooter et il y a des places gratuites en bas de l’hôtel. La vue sur la mer est vraiment magnifique même si la mer est loin. Nous avons fait 2 chambres différentes et globalement, elles sont très spacieuses, propres et confortables. Le petit déjeuner (sous forme de buffet) est très bien. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine car il ne faisait pas assez chaud/ beau.

Dommage que le plat des œufs brouillés ne soit pas maintenu chaud mais c’est un détail.

The staff was amazing! Very nice and always had smiles on their faces. There are stairs and hills getting to this property and that part is ny foot as cars cannot get up to the reservation area. We managed, but I wished that I packed lighter. Also, you want to get the bus app and use that to get into Amalfi. Taxis are too unpredictable and very expensive.

Beautiful place! And the staff kept it so clean. It is a ways from the main area but we learned on the second day there is a bus stop 5 mins from there that is very easy to take back and forth. The breakfast is always very yummy- and we loved the coffee. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to one day come back

A very fresh and bright room with an amazing view. The room was super clean and had an excellent kitchen area too. Breakfast was continental buffet style with some cooked eggs as an option - delicious pastries & coffee. Can’t fault this hotel although access from Amalfi town was tough late afternoon with not enough buses and little concept of queuing! Taxi was extortionate although in part due to fees the drivers have to pay each time to enter the town. Council should do better.

Amazing property with super friendly staff!

Hôtel, fraîchement rénové, chambre, très spacieuse, jolie décoration, bien que sobre, emplacement, calme, loin des foules d’Amalfi, un très bon petit restaurant, juste à côté à recommander.

L’accès au village n’est pas facile, l’indication exacte du nom du village est fausse dans Booking. La réception n’a pas pu nous donner suffisamment d’indications pour rejoindre l’hôtel depuis le port d’Amalfi . Il serait aussi intéressant de préciser qu’il y a beaucoup de marche à monter avec les bagages et pas de personnel disponible pour aider à l’arrivée des clients au pays des citrons, j’aurais apprécié une petite limonade rafraîchissante à mon arrivée.
