The staff were the best, very friendly and helpful! Everyone greeted us each time we encountered them. The pet friendly aspect was awesome!

We got there on our wedding night, the front desk tried to recharge me for our room knowing it was already paid for. Then she gives us a room key to an already occupied room! We went to our room and unlocked the door and a naked lady is there! Not what I wanted my husband to see on our wedding night! We went back down, told them we wanted a refund and we went home. I tried to contact the property to get my refunds and they are ignoring my messages. I'm about to contact a lawyer and take this management to small claims court! DON'T RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! Also the hallways smell like mold!!

We checked in and the front desk tried to recharge our room after we already paid. She gave us our room key. We went to our room and opened the door to find a naked woman in the room. The front desk gave us the keys to an already rented room this was our wedding night and I was annoyed by this so we went back downstairs, gave her the keys told him we want to refund and had somebody pick us up to take us home and that is how we spent our wedding night.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times over the years and it is always clean and maintained so well. Even the parking lot is clean. The staff is friendly.

Good variety for breakfast. Easy to get downtown. Large room, comfortable bed.

While breakfast variety was good it wasn’t very flavorful. Needed some seasoning. Front desk staff were sort of ho-hum and a little difficult to determine if they were employees when they weren’t behind the desk. Wash cloth was a little then and not very soft or fluffy.

The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were excellent quality! The young man at the front desk was extremely helpful. He was able to book us into a lovely room as just a walk-in after our posh accommodations for anniversary let us down.

We were 3 people in the room, and one day they cleanes the room... and only left 2 towels. When we called requesting an extra towel, they wouldn't give us. It was a huge hassle before i could get 1 towel.

The breakfast buffet for $12 a person was lackluster at best. We ate there once and then went to a real restaurant and paid less for much better food. Don’t waste your time or money

Staff were Great!!! Friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and the pool was fantastic, not over chlorinated like alot of hotel pools that burn your eyes as soon as you open the door. The breakfast is consistently good.We even meet family here for Christmas to exchange presents and use it as a stopover between family visits. Highly recommend this hotel

Everything was fine

Staff was nice BUT they did not communicate to each other. I had called the day before our stay to let them know we wouldn't be in until late that night (around 11p) and to ask if we could get a later check out and stay until 2pm. The guy on the phone said it would be no problem just let them know about thr check out when we checked in. When we checked in that night I asked if it would be alright if we did a later check out and stay until 2pm. The lady at checkout said that would be fine and saif she put it in the computer. We went about our day, my husband, salon and I had a meeting to attend from 9-1 and my daughter stayed at the hotel with our youngest until we got back, hence the reason we asked to check out at 2. At 1130 my daughter called and said the housekeeping ladies were standing outside the door talking about how we were late getting out and messing up their plans for after work. They ended up going away and my daughter and youngest went outside for a while. At 1245 the hotel was calling my phone (in a meeting couldnt answer) and they weren't leaving messages. I texted my daughter who had just got back in the hotel anf she said that no one knew we were checking out late. SMH My husband had to leave the meeting and go get them and then come back to get us. It was a mess and all stemmed from no communication on their parts. Also when I hadxalled I asked if we could get a small cot in the room for sleeping and was told that wouldn't be a problem at all. When we got there we were told we couldnt because if there was a fire they would get in trouble. WHAT? Even if thats the truth why didnt they say that when I originally asked on the phone. If they had of we would of planned accordingly and brought an air mattress or extra blankets to sleep on the floor or something.

BREAKFAST (if you want to call it that) It was $12/person to start...ok no big deal. Since were paying amd its in a restraunt inside the hotel it should be good, right? WRONG Eggs were runny, sausage was not cooked all the way, biscuits were dough and barely cooked, bacon had grease dripping off of it and the pancakes were literally STUCK to the bottom of the pan. You had to scrape the pancake off of the metal pan and then it ripped and you would leave half the pancake on the pan. "Fruit & Vegtable/salad bar?? I guess thats what it was supposed to be, consisted of hard boiled eggs, peaches, apples, jalapeños, salsa, cottage cheese and some other substance that I had no idea what it was. Pics attached. **the pancakes in the picture were the new pan they brought out after another couple complained. To be fair idk if those stuck to the pan when you tried to grab them because we left right after they came out. I wouldn't complain if it was free hotel breakfast but to charge for that was absolutely unacceptable and a rip off!! We will never stay here again and we will be in this area using hotels ALOT in the next 2 or 3 years. Also the air conditioner was horrible. We had to keep setting it lower and lower just to try and keep the room cool. We had it as low as it would go and the room was still barely comfortable. It was only 60 outside. It was hotter in the room!

Nothing it was it didn’t look clean I’ve been to many holiday inns in my travels and this one was the worst first of all I paid for breakfast included for my family of four but only received a some card that only gave breakfast for 2 people then when my hubby tried to bring Grits to the room while I was the upstairs the rude restaurant people acted like he was stealing mind you while they ripped the stuff on the breakfast ties him $13 for grits. My daughter went to get coffee. They acted like she was stealing coffee. They were all just rude obnoxious. The place was dirty filthy they didn’t even have fruit water like all the rest of the holidays they didn’t have they were awful.

The staff the place they were rude. They were obnoxious the only great person. There was the housekeeper who took care of our room. She was absolutely wonderful. She was gracious that she was nice to us. That’s who deserves all the praise for the place because they were absolutely shitty.

We booked a king bed and we were given two queens instead of. We were told one was not available, even though we arrived at 2:30 and the parking lot was empty.

The room was nice, and the hotel staff was friendly.

Staff were all nice, particularly young man at front desk, Jacob.

Normally we stay at Holiday Inn Express, not Holiday Inn. It was disappointing because it has rooms underground (like gym) which is not nice because of no windows. The hallway on the entrance floor (3rd floor) was slanted upwards like going uphill to get to your room. It was more expensive than other hotels yet had NO complimentary breakfast, which all others we've stayed at do. They put out complimentary coffee/tea/hot water in the morning which were in thermos type containers (not automatic machines like other hotels). Just kind of cheap. The foyer looked nice but other than that it looked old (ie. floors/carpets). The young man at the front desk was great & all staff nice, & cleanliness good. Just in general, the other aspects mentioned made it was disappointing, especially since you're paying more than other hotels. Wouldn't stay again.

My account was charged the incorrect amount, and will not be credited back to my account for a couple more days.

Can't say as I was not even able to check in

I booked a hotel here on booking.com went in to check in and the front desk person was weird. He couldnt figure out how to check us in through booking.com. I asked him if I could just pay to book a room and he then ignored me. I ended up leaving and now the charge is still under dispute. Unable to resolve at location. I had to call booking.com to resolve the situation and it seems to still not be resolved. Just dont come here its a whole headache.

The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed our stay.

Housekeeping kept coming to our door, and they cleaned our room, and we weren’t in the room, but we have valuables and they didn’t ask if we would like our room clean.

The location of the hotel was good, although the elevators were not available all the time. Suggestion: I personally prefer a hot complimentary breakfast .

My wife is very leery of falling in the shower and was appreciative of the two grab bars in the shower but she thought that the long bar should have been horizontal rather than vertical. And she thought that the floor of the shower should have been less slippery.

The room was clean. The countertop in the bathroom was spacious. The shower head was flexible.

Not enough lighting in the bathroom. I was on the first floor and the lobby is on third. There are no ice machines on the first and second floor. When walking into the lobby the immediate smell of coconut suntan lotion. Not good.

Bed was comfortable. Being able to control the temperature.

My second stay here and the quality has waned a bit. Staff was friendly but seemed clueless about some policies and did not share basic info like checkout time, breakfast options, etc. There is a new bar and restaurant in the place since I last stayed so I was hopeful the food would be better (breakfast was awful previously), but room service breakfast was very lacking and I had to call three times to get the entire order. The room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival and there was food on the floor and used washcloths in the shower. We'll find another hotel next trip.

Handicap access was not good. Shower way too slippery, handicapped parking spaces unaccessible due to parking lot reopar and there were too few spaces, No chair in room without wheels, bed too high for easy access

The location was great, it was nice that there is a restaurant on the property. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We purchased breakfast as part of our reservations but were unable to use due to fire alarm being activated and building being evacuated. Was disappointed that a refund of cost of breakfast added to reservations was not offered.

I visit quite often to this hotel. I visit my sick brother who lives in Martinsburg. I stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn the time before this one, and it did not compare to the service I am use to at Hoiday Inn. I will never make that mistake again.

My favorite bartender Sherrie quit the week before I came to Holiday Inn.

Overall the rooms are nice except there is an old musty smell, so the rooms could use aroma diffusers. The hallway rugs are dirty and looks like they don’t use professional rug cleaning. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are kind, especially the cafeteria staff.

The were comfortable, except for the the lack of a cake of soap. It seems as the Holiday Inn had elected to use the nasty bottles of slime.

It was peaceful and quiet there

It was filthy I took my shoes off and walked across the floor and could feel grit and dirt and looked at my foot and it was like I'd walked on coal. So I took a paper towel and wet it and wiped around the floor to look and see if it was my imagination nope it was filth and dirt I mean bad. I'm not a picky person but this was awful. Also said fully stocked like kitchenette area I don't know what they mean by fully stocked but there was there were no utensils or dish towels or anything if you wanted to cook something or eat something you had to bring your own stuff like knives forks that kind of thing

This is an older property, but VERY clean and well maintained! The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and all linens fresh and clean. The pool is quite large and very clean. Whomever is managing this property is doing a fantastic job!

This facility gives you the best bang for your buck! It was very clean, staff was friendly, I enjoyed the drinks at the restaurant, and the pool was beautiful and very well maintained. It had EVERYTHING you could want out of a hotel!
