I stayed at holiday inn Birmingham airport for 1 week with the possibility of staying longer , I had a lovely stay at the hotel all the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Andre, Manisha, Twinkle, Sujan, Raj, Nichel, Abdoul and Dinesh and Darsh who went above and beyond, the food was amazing, from breakfast to evening meal really nice place , thank you holiday inn 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Rooms were very cold and didn't get warm even after increasing the temperature upto 29 Degrees. Reception didn't pick up the call even after repeated calls.Had to sleep in the same freezing cold room. Got the room heater finally in the morning. So not a good experience. Breakfast was good. Especially, the omlette prepared by Abi was nice and Ms Padma was amazing. She was very pleasant, courteous and served everything with a smille.

Padma at Starbucks is extremely polite, professional and gentle. Happy to see her in the team, she understood the requirements and does that extra bit from her side.

I had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport, made even better by the exceptional staff. A special mention goes to Rupesh Singh, the Manager, who is an absolute credit to the hotel. He was professional, approachable, and genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience. His leadership clearly shows in how smoothly everything runs and in the positive attitude of the team. I’d also like to highlight Meg at reception, who was outstanding. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived. Check-in was quick and easy, and she went out of her way to assist with any questions, always with a friendly smile. Thanks to Rupesh and Meg, my stay was comfortable, stress-free, and memorable. Excellent customer service like this is the reason I would happily return and recommend this hotel to others.

Jenisha is very kind, patient, and helpful. My daughters adored her; she knows how to take care of families and she's a good listener.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn next to Birmingham airport before our ski holiday. Staff at the hotel were excellent in looking after our needs, a stand out example was Jenisha, one of the breakfast staff team during our stay, who offered excellent customer service and helped us have a very enjoyable experience. The facilities at the hotel were fantastic and I would definitely recommend staying here.

We were genuinely impressed by the warm welcome we received from Shruti. This is exactly how hospitality should look and feel, yet it is so often missed. Her greeting was exceptional, welcoming, enthusiastic, and she made us feel truly valued as guests. Without us asking, she kindly upgraded our room, which was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. The room itself was beautiful, extremely comfortable, and finished with a level of attention to detail you would normally expect from a four star hotel. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and professional. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, adding another highlight to our stay. After such an incredible experience, we will absolutely return. Thank you to the whole team for making our Christmas Day stay so memorable.

We had a fantastic welcome on our arrival at the hotel. We had just returned to Birmingham Airport after a 10 day holiday in Tenerife. We arrived at the hotel just after 9pm and thought we were too late for food but asked anyway. The Gentleman on reception was very friendly and suggested if we were quick, dash to the bar and see if we could order. The young lady was very nice and said we could take a seat and she would be over to take our order. I had a plant based burger and fries and my wife had the gammon. We had a few beers and wines, I can recommend the food and drinks were excellent. The hotel manager Mr Rupesh Singh came to our table, introduced himself and asked if everything was ok. A very nice man who you can just tell keeps a tight reign on his hotel and cares about his customers. We then made our way to our room. It was excellent with a large comfortable bed very nice furnishings and a lovely bathroom with a large bath and shower. We had a nice coffee and cup of tea in our room before going for breakfast. Breakfast was self service if there was anything special you required ie poached eggs you only had to ask and they would do it. The breakfast was very good value and plentiful. I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Hotel Birmingham Airport a great base to start your holiday if you have an early or late flight, the hotel is well located very clean and modern and all the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great friendly staff, even though they were super busy when I arrived they still.foundnthe time to check me in fully and ensure I knew everything I needed for my stay. Room was really nice, a little bit of traffic noise but what do you expect when right next to a busy main road.

Stayed here last night after my flight was cancelled. Allocated an upgrade and quiet room as an IHG silver member. Wedding party running about corridors all night banging doors shouting and fighting. Reported it to reception but nothing was done. Nightmare!!

I stay at this location when working in the geographical area, all staff very polite and nothing is an issue. As a diamond member I am always recognised and when available given a free upgrade. The food is of a high standard and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Would certainly recommend this as a great place to stay.

Room in booked wasn't available at check-in due to maintenance, so was given a (free) upgrade. Staff apologetic and helpful. Room comfy and well fitted out. Corridor carpets in main hotel are looking very tired. Good breakfast and although I hadn't been here since Feb 2025, I was recognised by Charlene who was on duty at breakfast, which made my day. Checkout was quick and easy. I think £12 to park at a hotel is a bit cheeky though. £5 would have been ample. Parking is VERY tight and takes a bit of a wriggle to get in depending which part of the car park you're in.

I stay a lot in hotels all over the UK and this is the best hotel I stay at. I’ve been staying here for around five years when I’m in Birmingham. The rooms are great, good TVs, coffee machines, fridges and a very good shower. The bar area is good as well as food in the restaurant. The best part though,has to be the staff, they are all different to most I encounter at rival hotels,which is a credit to themselves as well as the training they have from management. I can’t remember all their names but on reception, Honey is brilliant, so are Shivani and Megan, you can’t beat a smile and a happy helpful persona when you check in. They are great Girls and very professional but with a personal touch. Mo who is F&B manager has a great team, including Tiya, Twinkle and Manisha. The Breakfast in the morning is very good, brilliantly run by Charleen who has been at the hotel for a good few years. I cannot fault this hotel and always look forward to my visits there. Huge credit to Jaime, his management team and the wonderful staff that make this hotel what it is. Look forward to my next visit in the New Year, best regards Colin

Yet another successful stay care of the team at the Holiday Inn. Check in was seamless as usual, it was a one-night stay with an early departure , room was good clean and tidy, the bar area was a s ever bang on with Andrew and Twinkle performing a perfect service. The same at breakfast, Charlene and Madi on top form Jamie, Rupesh, Mo up front to lead, behind the scenes Ruth and the team always there to move mountains to make sure the nightmares that need a room today get a bed. I would like to sincerely appreciate the exceptional service provided by Jenisha and Samjhana. They were courteous, proactive, and ensured every guests felt well taken care of. Their professionalism, graceful communication, and constant smile made the entire experience truly delightful. They are a great asset to the company.

The rooms that my group stayed in were dated and very dusty. I had to request to change rooms as the first room I was given was covered in dust and had a really musty smell. The common areas of the hotel were not much cleaner. The service was also poor, despite me already paying for a room and breakfast for her, they repeatedly told my colleague that she was at the wrong hotel and that she didn’t have a room. After finally finding her booking they then tried to double charge her for breakfast. For the expense not only of the rooms but also the car parking and breakfast I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. The only thing good about it is the location which is handy for NEC and airport.

Mouldy spoons in room. And two single beds in a double bed room for one person? Why do I need an extra bed on the other side of the room I can’t sleep in. Room temperature controls wouldnt stay at the temperature I set for more than 30 minutes requiring me to set the room temp constantly during the night.

Room was clean and tidy, however the electric didn't work come the morning time. Breakfast service from Padma was superb.

Great staff, excellent food and a really pleasant hotel to stay at. The regular complimentary bus takes you to and from the NEC/Airport terminal. If you are looking to stay anywhere when visiting the NEC you will find no finer hotel than the Holiday Inn, Birmingham Airport.

A very good experience altogether, travelled over for the NEC show, and i was met by a pleasant and cheerful Shruti at the front desk. She was extremely helpful, and advised that there was a complimentry shuttle bus that runs between holiday inn and NEC/ Trainstation. Nice service at breakfast by Samjhana Jenisha. Very attentive waitresses. Hotel was clean and perfect for price.

Easy to find, comfortable and with friendly staff. Very clean and the food is very good. Room was small for a double but clean and bed was comfy.

The Hotel is quite newly renovated and the rooms are nicely prepared and in a good shape. The cleaning people is really friendly and motivated. also the Service Crew offers a great friendlyness and does a great job. I stayed 14 days for business there and this stay gave me a good and relaxing experience.

We stayed overnight,for an early flight out. Room 467 gorgeous room, comfortable massive bed. The only issue was the road noise, it's a very busy road. The hotel is very good though, and would use again, transfer to the monorail, very easy.

The Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. ​The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. ​However, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.

We booked three family rooms and stayed overnight and the hotel was excellent. The swimming pool and gym were keeep very clean and the breakfast was lovely.

We had exceptional service from two members of staff during our stay. The shuttle bus driver Imran was particularly helpful and very friendly. We also found Megan on reception very kind and happy to help with all of our enquiries, going above and beyond, even organising a very early takeaway breakfast for our 4 am start. Thank you.

I have been extremely impressed with the hospitality and service from the hotel especially from padma, Smriti, jenisha and Karina. All wonderful staff always smiling and serving with a lot of love. They were very attentive and were great giving us ideas on what to eat for lunch and recommended for dinner when they weren't working . Staying here regularly for work, and I’m always impressed by how friendly and helpful the team is. The rooms are consistently clean and well presented, and the food is excellent. It really makes being away from home feel a bit more like home. Any time I've had any queries or questions Mo has always been there to answer!

Lovely helpful staff, nice warm pool, kids eat free and great breakfast with lots of choice. Free shuttle bus service very handy for NEC and train station which is 2 miles away. Public bus also stops outside hotel. Rooms comfortable and clean. Only negatives were bedroom window was difficult to open and close, some mould on sealant around bath and changing room PIN code lockers were not always easy to open. Staff also forgot to make up the sofa bed but the situation was quickly rectified. Can hear traffic from room but as to be expected for its location and not a big issue.
