Walking distance to the beach and markets/dining. Middle of Lovina in quiet back street. Rooms spacious with a small fridge. Onsite breakfast cooked to order.

Missed having a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. But staff were happy to supply a thermos of hot water.

L'accueil de l'équipe était génial ! Leur aide à été precieuse et toujours avec le sourire ! La chambre est spacieuse, et l'eau de la douche est chaude ! L'emplacement à 2min a pied de la plage ! Petite piscine intimiste. Parfait!

Plumbing didn’t work. Everything was rusty and broken. Water was leaking onto the floor from the toilet, sink, and bathtub (basically from all the plumbing fixtures). The hot water didn’t mix properly — literally either ice cold or boiling. When I checked in, the sheets were dirty; I’m not sure, but it seemed like the bedding hadn’t been changed after the previous guest who checked out an hour before me — they just made the bed without changing it. Plus, as a bonus, there were about 15 flies in the room that I had to chase out with a towel, but that’s a minor thing, it’s Asia after all (though this didn’t happen at other places I stayed). As for the noise: it was just awful. Staff didn’t care at all that guests were trying to rest — they were running around, shouting, and having fun. Good for them, but they were yelling right under my room while I was trying to sleep. I get that it was daytime, but this is a guest relaxation area, not a playground for the staff. The same thing happened at night — at 2 AM some guests arrived, and the receptionist was laughing loudly and chatting away… I woke up and had to say something, since I had to go swimming with dolphins at 6 AM and barely got any sleep because of this.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

La piscine est très agréable. L'emplacement est très bien, proche de la plage et de restaurants.

La propreté laisse à désirer, nos oreillers étaient moisis. La salle de bain n'est pas terrible du tout, le pommeau de douche et moisi également et la VMC ne fonctionne pas cela ne sent donc pas trop bon dans la salle de bain. Il y avait une pompe à côté ou au dessus de notre chambre qui se déclenchait très souvent, nous obligeant à mettre des bouchons d'oreilles pour dormir.

住宿非常不彈性，當天早上因為天氣因素想要改隔日去，不行就算了，好好解釋不行嗎？回覆非常怠慢“NO”然後就再也得不到其他的回覆，也不回電，不理不睬的態度讓人感到極度不適，Google評價裡面還寫說員工服務態度非常好呢？ 房內的水和零食是需要收費的！而且在室內並沒有一個標識說需要收費，結束才來結算想當然價格比外面一般商店貴的多！而且居然有零食已經過期，不小心吃了已經過期的零食還企圖要跟我收費！

Les horaires de piscine , fixation du porte serviette, de douche salle , réfrigérateur a côté de la tête pour pas dormir du coup on ne l'a pas allumé, doucette noir de moisissure, tv très compliqué a comprendre comment elle fonctionne

Room comfortable and clean. Air con and tv perfect. Location 5 min walk to town and 2/3 min to beach. Good restaurants close by.

No tea, coffee left in room after day 2. Breakfast needs improvement.

Superb homestay in a beautiful location. Short walk to a very nice beach with a few Warungs on the beach. Nice pool that has shade, nice ponds with fish. Views to the fields and just see the ocean. Great staff. Good a/c. Comfy bed. Good fridge.

Proche de Lovina Beach. Personnel accueillant et facilitant. Attention si vous mangez les snacks dans la chambre il vous seront facturé. Le lit est très confortable et c’est propre. J’ai étendu ma réservation avec eux même si il n’y avait plus de place sur Booking. J’ai aussi pu utiliser le service de Laundry pour 80k.

La douche n’était pas top, j’ai dû changer de chambre parce que ça ne fonctionnait pas… et la seconde n’était pas top top non plus. Problème eau chaude/eau froide. Mais ça le fait pour quelques nuits !

Nice stay at Grand Raka. Staff always friendly. Parking outside for a couple of cars Aircon and wifi good. Bed comfortable. Bathroom good size, shower over bathtub. Restaurant onsite.l

Everything good, good value and good location

The staff are great. It is walking distance to the beach and central area. It is clean and quiet. This was our second stay there and we would definitely go back again.

The staffs are nice and the location is good.

The AC in our room is working but it's not cold at all, can only feel it if we start right in front of it. We were swearing all night couldn't sleep.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Great swimming pool, very quiet & central location.

Location down a quiet street, minutes from beach and main road, peaceful and relaxing, super friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean comfy bed pillows and even a couch, nice brekky and gorgeous pool

We had the apartment at the top of the building. I liked the fact that we had a refrigerator and the very nice staff of Raka.

Large room, great staff. Walking distance to beach, dolphin statue and main strip. Staff friendly, and very helpful. Will organise anything you need.

The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful and modern. The pool is beautiful. The staff have a decent restaurant in the lobby. Wifi is great.

I want others to notice that most of the reviews for the Grand Raka are over four years old. We stayed here last week and were appalled. The condition of this place has really deteriorated. The staff are very kind, friendly, and accommodating but the hotel is filthy. The bed sheets are stained, they forgot to put pillow covers and the pillows are disgusting, and the bathroom is moldy. This place could really use a DEEP cleaning and renovation. When we checked in they told us the family suite was "being renovated" but in actually they just over booked it. The family suite's bathroom literally has a bucket shower. After two nights (we booked three) we had enough and moved over the The Lovina down the street. My lesson -you get what you pay for. Please do not stay here. I spent most of the time here researching other places to stay.

Grand Raka home stay wasnt grand or a homestay. We booked for 3 single adults a villa which was a top floor small apartment. The sofa bed was a narrow bench seat not ok to sleep on. so we had to make a bed on the floor. Tv...didnt work. Floor dirty. Bathroom needs updating. Staff friendly. Location excellent

The hotel needs up dating. Pool was mouldy and slimey. Room was dirty. Rubbish and broken furniture on roof deck.

Super friendly, perfect location. The family villa on the roof was crumbling apart but I'm sure it will be fixed. The restaurant is good and the swimming pool as well.

Good location. Decent sized room with tv. Staff were friendly. Big fridge in room. Good size cupboard.

Bathroom was unventilated, shower was unclean and the shower head was rubbish. Generally a bit shabby. Food was there but was not very good. Coffee was terrible.

Big room. Wifi in and out. Has Netflix. Staff friendly. Restaurant downstairs has good food. Sweet and sour chicken and fried bananas yum. Good location. Parking for car out front. About 400m walk direct to beach and another restaurant.

Shower wasnt great. I had bath shower and when water goes onto tiles surrounding bath , it pours onto floor. Used a few towels soaking up water. All good. Shower head needs decalcification or replacement. Toilet could have been cleaned but they don't seem to use toilet brushes and bleach in Bali. Otherwise good value.

Great value for money, the food was inexpensive and the staff were always on hand to cater for any needs. The rooms were spacious everything worked and the pool was crystal clean.

The room was clean, cool and the bed was huge which was very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. We liked the welcome drinks and our host Putu with his family taking care of the Villas were very hospitable, friendly and accommodating.

Mud smell in the room. Stuff always ask me to park motorbike inside restaurant instead of parking :) it's weird.

the staff were useless. told us to wait for a moped for 30 so we did, we stood there once 30 was up as no one came to get us and we had to ask where is the moped as the staff just sat on there phone. he said oh it can’t come!!!!

It's perfect , the room was clean , also the pool . Aircon works great. Staff are very friendly . It was great to stay here . We will coming back soon .

- high quality mattress ; - room in a very good state (new or completely renovated) ; - smily and reactive staff ; - beautiful and quite big swimming pool.

- noisy water pump on the roof : average 48-50 dB in my room when someone uses water. It's not a terrible noise but noisy however for some people. Except that, it would be super quiet ; - impossible to activate/desactivate VMC from inside the room (switch in the stairs... ).

We didn't feel very welcome. The room is nice but the ac wasn't really strong, we were sweating in the room.  The bathroom and room  need maintenance. The shower wasn't working really well. Some broken stuff also in the bathroom. The food at the restaurant was OK.  The swimming pool nice.  Also when we paid, on the invoice they write welcome drink. We didn't have any. In the room there were drinks in the fridge. We though it was the welcome drink.  Also there is cup in the room but no kettle for hot water.  Because the vibe we decided to stay only one night We paid the room.  We were ready to leave and then not friendly at all asked us if we use some drinks in the fridge. They were really weird  about that. We had to pay the drink but nowhere it's written the price. We though it was the welcome drinks.  There are plenty of hotel waiting for guest. I don't recommend here. 

My partner booked this Homestay as a surprise for my birthday and it was amazing! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to provide the best stay possible. The restaurant serves basic but nice food and the pool area is quiet and nice. The hotel is away from the busy main road and within walking distance to the beach. All the facilities are very good, fast wifi, high pressure shower with hot water and cold A/C. One of our best stays in Bali so far!

We stayed two nights at this hotel. The hotel has seven rooms; most are located on the second level, accessible only by stairs. There is a small restaurant which serves basic meals. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and had good air conditioning, a fridge, bottled water, hot water with good water pressure for showering (note it is a shower over the bathtub) and comfortable bed. Our room wasn't serviced but that wasn't an issue as we were only there for two nights. The pool area is lovely and relaxing. The hotel is located on a quiet street away from the main road with easy walking access to the beachfront. Recommend as a good value option.

We had a lovely stay here, and were surprised that we were the only ones here. Clean, easy walk to beach and to main resto areas. Only time other people were there was Friday night when a family stayed. Pool lovely and clean. Breakfast was good as was lunch and dinner on the days we just lazed around. The staff were all very nice and took great care of us.

The room was amazing! And the staff were very friendly and helpful! The rooms were big very clean with nice furniture. The bathroom was equally as nice and clean. The shower had 2 shower heads which was amazing and a great bath, they had lots of hot water. The breakfast was okay. There dinner was good. The pool area was very nice! It was close to the beach, and they can organize a dolphin watch tour.I Will definitely stay here again if we are in lovina. I highly recommend it

Stayed at this hotel with my family for 2 day and we had a lovely time the rooms are immaculate with bath and fluffy towels and staff are lovely to would highly recommend it Jackie from England anyone comming with a group or big family could have hotel to their selves as it only has 7 rooms Jackie from England
