Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Le petit déjeuner face à la mer dans le jardin. Le coucher de soleil. La piscine et le massage dans le jardin. Le lit était confortable. Le personnel très serviable. Le premier petit warung à gauche en bord de plage est très bon 😉
Il manque une couette (juste un drap). La climatisation et le frigo font du bruit.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Everything, but as always, what do you expect and what you get. For us it was absolutely top, very very nice people, not only in the hotel, around the same. But nothing for party (that’s long gone in Lovina). Good snorkeling on the reef (about 400 m outside on the reef break), great dolphin tour. And if you meet Katut on the beach with his arts he does to create ornaments, just let him show and you will buy some, so awesome.

Lovely breakfast served overlooking ocean each morning. Tea and coffee facilities available 24/7 was a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Lovina! Thank you

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Omdat we heel vroeg dolfijnen gingen spotten, stelde ze voor om dan later het ontbijt te nemen en dat vonden we super. Het ontbijt was heel lekker. De bananenpannenkoeken zijn een aanrader. Er is een goed restaurant wat verderop. Als je naar de zee kijkt, ga naar rechts.
Het was jammer dat er naast het hotel een grote villa ligt. Als je pech hebt, zijn daar volgens ons feestjes tot in de vroege uurtjes.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026+ super locatie. In 15 min wandelen over het strand zit je op het meest locale punt (dolphin statue). Naast het hotel zitten verschillende restaurantjes. Zelf vaak voor de lunch bij Starfish gezeten. Met de taxi (grab) zit je in 5 min in het centrum. + zowel de kamer als het gehele terrein super schoon! + Vriendelijk personeel die hard werken om een ieder een top verblijf te geven. + Goed smakend ontbijt. Iedere dag genoten van een omelet met spinazie, tomaat en ui er in. Daarnaast kregen wij ook een Orange juice en bakje met vers fruit: meloen, ananas, papaya. + Beste liggende ligbedjes ooit waar ik op gelegen heb aan het zwembad!
- bedden zijn aan de harde kant. - wifi dekking is alleen rondom het zwembad en niet in de kamers.

There was a lot of dogs, some growled at us and walking past at night they were barking. A bit frightening.

You can walk about 10 minutes along the jogging track to reach Lovina Beach, and most dolphin tour operators will pick you up right from the hotel’s beach. The VIP room was clean and spacious, ideal for two people. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for two.
• Breakfast: Very limited menu and portion sizes were quite small. We needed three portions for two people. • Bathroom: Semi-open layout; the outdoor shower had no hot water, and even the indoor shower lacked hot water during our stay. • Location: Beautiful but slightly away from the main town, so you’ll need a Grab or a rental scooter to get around. • Dolphin tours: Convenient pickup from the hotel beach, but the tour offered by the hotel is significantly overpriced. The hotel quoted around 1.2 million for a private tour for two, while external operators charge about 150k per person for shared or 600k for a private tour.

The bathroom was awkward. The stones on floor were uncomfortable, and hopping around on timber mats was weird. Could have done with warmer bed covering, a sheet and sarong was just not quite enough

Our bed was very hard and no choice of duvet (only a sheet). No kettle or tea/coffee in our room.

Génial pour un séjour reposant 😌

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026I actually don’t really want to say anything about Frangipani Beach Hotel because I don’t want it to be booked out next time I want to go there. I was staying elsewhere and happened to walk passed this pace on my morning walk. I knew when I saw it I wanted to stay there. So I booked a stay for after I checked out of my other place. I booked a VIP room which was just wonderful. This place is one of the nicest I have stayed in since I don’t know when. It is small, it is quiet, it is truly lovely. All of the staff are so warm and welcoming. The lovely manager speaks excellent English and enjoys a joke. Breakfast was substantial. I ordered toast and baguette and felt like I was given a whole bakery. Truth be known I didn’t want to leave.
Absolutely nothing. Well actually, maybe there is. I had to share it other guests in my second night! The first night was the only one there; just an amazing lucky break for me 😉L

De kamer die hadden is erg donker en dit heeft men trachten op te lossen door een zeer felle hoofdlamp te installeren.. de oplossing is een lamp met warm licht. Tevens is er veel rumoer in de vroege ochtend rond 6 uur :scooters die starten en daardoor honden die blaffen.

A bit of a walk to the main road - wasnt so bad during the day but as a solo traveller it a bit sketchy at night.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Small and quiet, which after Ubud was fantastic. The room with outside bathroom was superb, and breakfast made to order 5m from the beach was an absolute pleasure. The sunbeds were very comfortable and shaded by lovely trees, and you could do lengths in the pool. Highly recommend this hotel.
You must see the dolphins, but arrange through a company not the hotel. Even then they won’t go out unless conditions are calm.
