It had a great location and didn't gouge you as much as other hotels just because it was a holiday weekend. Loved the shower!

Convenient location to shopping stores

The carpets in the hallways were taped and coming up like they were really old and looked dirty. The smell in the hallways was awful. The pool and hot tub were dirty and had to clean just to swim. Breakfast was not comparable to other hotels I have stayed at. Food was dry and tasteless.

The breakfast was good. The value for the stay was affordable. And overall was clean.

The fan in the bathroom did not work. And the pillows were alittle flat but I took my pillow anyway. The carpet will probably need to be clean soon.

Outdated room, worn furnishings

Location was fine, overall building and layout were fine. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. Staff I did encounter were friendly and helpful, although there are very few staff to be found if you need anything in a very large building. I need far more DIDN'T LIKE room: Building is dim and dark, still covered in carpet wall to wall that has been there for decades - even in the stained stairwells and rooms that take pets - it's time to just take it all out. I didn't want to walk in my room without shoes, at all, and there is a faint smell of urine and/or old smoke from back in the day that just can't be covered over by chemical cleaners. I've stayed at a few Red Lions, namely because I know they're pet friendly. Others have really been pretty great, this one was the worst. It has a dingy feel- not due to poor housekeeping- just upkeep. Moreover, I didn't get to enjoy any of the amenities I chose it for in the first place, so it really felt like my money went to nothing.

Pet fee: an additional $75 on arrival, non-refundable. Made me feel like I just paid for other people's dogs who have *already clearly peed on the carpet that I had to use, while my dog did nothing but quietly sit on the bed with me. What ever just happened to refundable damage deposits for pets?? Room: supposed to be something like a "supreme King" with a courtyard/pool view balcony. It was a very small, tight, dark room, and the balcony had stained cement, no chair, and in my room was completely- I mean completely- enclosed by tree branches that haven't been managed so I had no view outside whatsoever.. Zero point in being out there or even having one. Pool/spa: I spent the day driving, and then unloading furniture, so was very much looking forward to using the pool and hottub when I was done. I wrongly assumed it would be open until 10pm, because well, that's most common. My fault for not double-checking, but they close it at 9 pm. So, I didn't get to use them at all, also half of why I chose the hotel. Breakfast: I *paid upfront for breakfast, and didn't get it at all. Thinking there was a buffet breakfast I come down and get myself, got up with alarm at 8:45, before it was also done at 9am. But you have to sit down and be served, and I didn't have the time for that. So I got up early for nothing and paid extra for nothing. Last but not least: Bed bugs? I can't be sure of this... but all I know is that I went to bed with no bites on my leg, and woke up with a triple bite bed bug pattern on it... -----------At over $175 for my stay, I'd really like some money back

Easy to access

The sound of a dog barking for 45 minutes many times a day. It is disturbing to me. I like dogs but not when they bark all the time

The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The breakfast was good and restocked properly, previous stays they would run out or get behind on the breakfast in the morning. This trip it was excellent, and stocked well, the lady running it was on top of it.

I noticed the ice maker on the 3rd floor happened to not be working properly, I was able to just go to the 2nd floor ice machine.

Everything was okay overall. The room was clean, the bedding was clean, and breakfast was fine.

First, the photos on Booking.com do not accurately represent the hotel. The property is very old and clearly hasn’t been renovated in a long time. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the photos, and both the pool and the hot tub were dirty. We stayed here during the summer and specifically chose this hotel because we wanted to spend time at the outdoor pool, so the condition and size of the pool area were a major disappointment. Another big issue was the noise. Our room faced the Lowe’s shopping center, with railroad tracks only about 50 meters away. Around 5–6 trains passed during the night and woke up our entire family. Even with the balcony door completely closed, the trains were extremely loud and made it very difficult to sleep. The air conditioner was also old and extremely noisy. Sleeping with it running was basically impossible. The balcony was very dirty and covered in a thick layer of dust. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. This was especially inconvenient because we wanted to use the balcony to dry our swimsuits and other things after the pool. The mattresses were also extremely soft and uncomfortable. Overall, the biggest disappointment was the difference between what you expect based on the photos on Booking.com and what you actually get when you arrive. The hotel looks much better in the photos than it does in reality.

The hotel is well located, and the pool is a nice outdoor pool. It was not very clean when we used it however- which made it less appealing. The entire hotel could be staffed better.

This property is old and in need of a refresh. Don’t be fooled by the large modern carport! This is an older hotel that shows its age in the carpeting throughout, the furniture, bathrooms and more.

Location was good for my trip.

While the location was good and bed was comfortable, I had no hot water for the practically the entirety of my stay. When I discovered it, I called and their answer was “Yeah it’s been like that all day. Can I help you with anything else?” It was super disappointing to not be notified of this. Even through the whole next day, nothing. There was also nothing offered because of this issue. Additionally, asking about late checkout yielded a response of “Check back later, I don’t know.” I’ll be working with Booking.com to review my options for a refund.

Filthy dirty, Red Bull can floating around in the hot tub, stairs to pool were not fastened tightly, hard for any person to get in or out of the pool. Pool had floating debris, feathers, dead bugs, hair everywhere. Carpet through out was loose or taped down with duct tape. Staff was very unprofessional.elevator was not operating, my handicapped husband had to use the stairs, which were steep and different color of carpet made it difficult to determine if there was another step or did the main floor reach.

The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, breakfast was good.

The front desk person check me in give a very poor direction how to find my room, in the map say different room number the key holder. I encountered 4 employees and not of them smile.

The elevators were broke so we were told we had to carry luggage for 2 adults and 2 kids up to the 3rd floor, and no signs saying they were broke. Went to polo and then tried to use the customer restrooms at the pool and they were locked (6pm), so had to run up to our room on the 3rd floor for our son to use the restroom. Breakfast was good, but they were out of a lot and no one around to help. While facility was dingy and definitely need repairs and new carpet.

The room was a good size, quiet and clean, beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety to choose from.

The building and interior public spaces were tired. The carpet throughout the hotel was old, wrinkled, worn, and stained, in desperately needs replacement. I can imagine it would be costly, so its unfortunate. The room itself was updated and comfortable.

My grandson and I woke up to ants in our bed. The hotel clerk came up to the room and verified there were ants. I asked for an adjustment on my room charge. As of today. I have not received that or a phone call. We stay here often when my grandson is in Washington because it's close to our adventures.. I took pictures if they are needed. So did the clerk.

The location

The bugs everywhere in the rooms the lack of the staff willing to eradicate the issue. The floors are duct taped all through the facility. They do not provide room service unless you contact them to do it even if you're there for multi days and the sticker that states this is hidden in the corner of a mirror. Staff was unwilling to swap the room out for room without ants. The bathroom had black mold growing on the ceiling.

Location is close to other places

It’s not clean. The carpet. Look dirty. Everything is super Old. But most of it carpet really old tape, Everywhere, and every corner. The room , and the structure so old they need HELP , place looks old .. really honest I was Really. Disappointed breakfast was bad. We went to get some breakfast. They don’t have enough food for everybody in time and matters.

The quietness, the help, the bed and the outdoor environment

The carpet falling apart in the hallways and the the bathroom falling apart in the room. Needs updated and redone, but, I understand that os ALOT of work

The only good things was the bed was comfortable and there was hot breakfast available.

Where to start. The hotel is very dated there are several sections of carpet that has been repaired with duct tape in common areas of the hotel. The bathroom in our room had peeling wallpaper towards the bottom of the wall and it looked possibly moldy ( i personally did not take a close look) The pillows on the bed were about half the size of a standard pillow, flat and lumpy. We had to make a trip to a local store to purchase pillows. We have now stayed in a few different places within this area and Red Lion was the worst. We will not stay here again. Wish I would have taken photos just didn't think about it at the time.

Listing raved about cleanliness and great breakfast. Upon entering our room, 4/6 pillow had long hairs adorning them. The office chair was greasy and covered in salt, the 3rd bed requested in booking was lucky to have not been taken already I was told. The elevator is on opposite side of lobby, so you must venture through the backrooms to find your room. The breakfast was not good at all.

The property is showing its age. Wrinkled carpet in the halls and wood rot on the building and railings around the pool. Could use a facelift.

The train running past the balcony was not particularly relaxing. The view of the backside of a Lowes from the balcony was definitely uninspiring.

It was a convenient location for the activities we had that weekend. Nice that there was the guest computer for use. Like that breakfast was included.

It was dirty, dated, damaged and obviously poorly managed. The breakfast room was shocking: no coffee cups, no juice cups, no milk, dirty tables.

Fan in room wouldn’t shut off. No way to make coffee,the tray was missing. Told the front desk and nothing was done. No milk for breakfast. Had to tell the attendant to fill that area.
