Hôtel le calife

I arrived in Tunis around 6:00 AM, much earlier than my check-in time at 1:00 PM. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They kindly let me leave my luggage and asked me to give them about an hour to prepare my room. I left my luggage and went out on foot to explore the city. I walked for about 6 minutes and found myself very close to the places I wanted to visit. After spending some time exploring, I came back to the hotel and my room was already ready. Everything was smooth and well organized. The staff service was 10/10 and the location was 10/10. I really appreciated their hospitality and flexibility. ❤️

Je vais régulièrement à l'Hôtel Calife, c'est toujours un plaisir. Accueil chaleureux et professionnel, l'équipe est top. Emplacement géographique et accessibilité top, confortable et propre, très bien aménagé, un café sur place dans l'hôtel, élégance, lieu très calme et reposant, accessibilité aux lieux d'intérêt.

emplacement central pour decouvrir le centre de tunis, se rendre vers Carthage ou prendre le train.

A szállás nagyon hangulatos és tiszta. Közel a sugárút, ahol mindenféle étterem és kávézó van, illetve közvetlen a medina szélén található. A kis erkély az utcára nézett, innen néztük a zivatart :) A szoba nagyon szép, a fürdő tiszta, kaptunk mindent: szappan, sampon, tusfürdő és hófehér törölköző. A légkondi szuper hűvös és száraz levegőt csinált a szobában. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes. A földszinten nagyon finom kávét lehet inni Saját parkolót kaptunk közvetlenül a bejáratnál, és kártyával is tudtunk fizetni. Hagytunk borravalót a szobában, de annak ellenére, hogy kitakarították minden nap, nem vették el a pénzt.

A zuhany kissé lassan folyik le, ha nem figyelsz, könnyű eláztatni a lábtörlőt.

Excelente hotel en Tunez, en la calle que de a la plaza que separa la parte moderna de la antigua, calle autentica, habitacion excelente con aire acondicionado, nevera, cama ancha, con dos cojines uno duro y el otro mas blandito, muy buen trato porque llegue de noche tarde por retraso en el vuelo y me estaban esperando

Sorprende, pero no es solo el hotel, sin también en todo el pais, que se pueda fumar dentro, en zonas comunes

👮👮👮 J’ai passé un très agréable séjour à l’Hôtel Le Calife à Tunis. Je tiens particulièrement à remercier toute l’équipe de réception pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme : Asmae, Ghayth, Kaïs et Rabeh. Toujours souriants, disponibles et à l’écoute, ils ont vraiment contribué à rendre mon séjour agréable. Je souhaite également remercier chaleureusement la femme de ménage du 2ᵉ étage (Mme L.....), pour son travail, sa gentillesse et l’attention portée à la propreté de la chambre. Une équipe vraiment formidable, qui mérite d’être félicitée et valorisée. Je garderai un très bon souvenir de mon séjour à l’Hôtel Le Calife et je n’hésiterai pas à y revenir lors de mon prochain passage à Tunis. Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre était propre et confortable, et le personnel très accueillant. Mention spéciale à Amine, particulièrement sympathique, disponible et attentionné. Une très bonne expérience dans l’ensemble !

El tamaño de la habitación y que tenía una terraza pequeña.

El baño era horrible, todo muy viejo y también poco limpio. Además llegamos en la madrugada, lo que avisamos, y la habitación no estaba lista.

L’hôtel a annulé notre réservation à la dernière minute, une chose qui est inacceptable avc trois enfants on s’est retrouvé à chercher où passer la nuit vraiment déçu !

Quiero aclarar que es una ciudad, y el país en si, con mucha mucha basura. Nosotros no lo sabíamos y no lo habíamos visto en ningún comentario, por lo que nos parece importante ponerlo aquí. Traer repelente para pulgas; el segundo día me desperté todo picado.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel e mi sono trovata benissimo. Lo staff è stato sempre molto gentile, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza, facendomi sentire accolta fin dal primo momento. L'hotel è accogliente, pulito e curato, con un'atmosfera piacevole e rilassante.

J’ai séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel. Malheureusement, l’accueil n’a pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Le personnel n’était pas particulièrement accueillant ni souriant. On nous a attribué une chambre au troisième étage alors que nous avions plusieurs bagages, et l’absence d’ascenseur a rendu l’accès très difficile. Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment très limité : un café, un croissant et un simple jus de citron. C’est insuffisant et décevant pour bien commencer la journée.

En revanche, je tiens à souligner les points positifs. La chambre était très propre, la salle de bain avait été rénovée et était moderne et bien aménagée. La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement et l’emplacement de l’hôtel est pratique pour visiter Tunis.

No hi havia nevera (important quan fa tanta calor a fora). La ubicació està aprop de la medina però no és el millor carrer per allotjar-se, amb molt de trànsit.

All the staff is kind and welcoming. They also have a Bar in the hall with fair prices where you can spend some time and we watched world cup games. The room was clean and everyday they provided a refresh of sheets, toilet paper, washing kit and a quick clean. The price you pay for this hotel is very honest.

Location is not a in a touristic and fancy area. It depends on what you are looking for. My gf and I love this kind of areas to live the real culture of the countries we visit. It is located at the entry of Medina and offer the possibility to eat and visit very authentic places.

Very kind and helpful staff. It was perfect that the reception arranged for us taxi rides that we requested, through local apps with pre-set prices, without any overcharge (for example from the hotel to the airport 15 TND, while our friends staying in a nearby hotel were charged 60 euros for the same trip that they had booked through their hotel reception). They also arranged for me an appointment for hammam. A hotel exactly as described in the booking, clean, suitable for city center lovers, just outside the Medina, almost everything within walking distance. Lively full of local stores and safe location, although dirty as in all of Tunisia.

Il prezzo alla fine molto basso quindi per un appoggio per qualche ora va bene.

Nulla: sporca, non funzionava l’aria condizionata, mobili che scricchiolano letti compresi, estetica bruttissima. Il receptionist ci ha infilato quasi obbligato a prendere in 5 un taxi che era da 4 mentre noi avevamo prenotato dei taxi per conto nostro ma ha voluto fare un favore ad un suo amico che arrivato all’aereoporto ha cambiato il prezzo concordato

Excellent séjour de six nuits dans cet établissement. Tout était à la hauteur de mes attentes, voire au-delà. La chambre était élégante, parfaitement entretenue et très confortable. Le personnel s’est montré attentionné, professionnel et toujours disponible. L’ambiance générale de l’hôtel était calme et agréable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour.

لقد اقمنا في الفندق لمدة 8 ليال كل مرة 4 ليال فندق جيد جدا الطاقم كان رائع متواجدين كل الوقت ومتعاونين جدا .. نظيف مكان الفندق قريب من باب بحر مشي تقريبا 5 دقائق قريب من كل سوق الملابس .. قريب من مركز المدينة جدا

كان المرتبة بدرجة متوسطة من الجودة لايوجد مصعد للطوابق العليا

Hotel semplice ma davvero accogliente, perfetto per vivere la parte più autentica di Tunis. La struttura non punta al lusso, ma conquista grazie alla gentilezza dello staff, all’atmosfera calorosa e a un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero ottimo. Uno dei grandi punti di forza è la possibilità di parcheggiare la moto in garage, dettaglio fondamentale per chi viaggia su due ruote e vuole visitare la città con tranquillità. La posizione è eccellente: l’hotel si trova nel cuore della Medina di Tunisi, dove si può respirare la vera atmosfera tunisina fatta di mercati, piccoli negozi, profumi di spezie e vita quotidiana autentica. Allo stesso tempo, a circa 300 metri si raggiunge facilmente Bab al-Bhar, porta d’ingresso alla parte più turistica e storica della città. Nei dintorni si trova davvero di tutto: mercati locali, supermercati, street food e piccoli ristoranti dove assaggiare i veri prodotti tipici tunisini lontano dalle zone troppo turistiche. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un soggiorno autentico, pratico ed economico per scoprire Tunisi vivendo davvero la città dall’interno.

You can walk to the city and there is a very good local fast food restaurant nearby, Queen, everything is close to the sights, it's cozy inside the hotel, the employees are nice.

There were small cockroaches in the toilet, as for private messages, they were very slow to respond to our questions, the place where the hotel is located is noisy and there is street vending nearby and suspicious guys hanging around, so we went out more during the day and stayed at the hotel at night. We heard and found out that places like this and similar ones are very suspicious for illegal things, so we didn't linger and stood out.
