I really love this place because it’s very close to many restaurants, stores, and souvenir shops. It’s located right along the road, but the rooms are at the back, so you can’t hear the noise from the street. It’s so peaceful and relaxing! For me, I think the only thing they need to improve is the comfort room because having a fully functional bathroom is very important. But I would still definitely recommend this place to my friends and people I know because we really felt relaxed during our stay. I also really love the surroundings, especially because the place is surrounded by beautiful plants, which makes it feel even more peaceful and refreshing. We also love Ate Bebe, who assisted us during our stay. She was very accommodating, friendly, and lively. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! Thank you so much !!!

The comfort rooms are okay. There are three for common use, but one of them has a broken door. So far, they are clean. When we entered our room, it looked nice and comfortable. We just noticed that the floor was a little dusty, but it wasn’t really an issue for us. Overall, everything was good, and we had a pleasant stay.

La ubicación es perfecta, justo en el centro. Puedes aparcar la moto dentro. Hay aire en las dos plantas y las instalación están bien. El personal muy amable. Las camas eran cómodas.

Consideramos que habría que tapar algún agujero por qué salían algunas cucarachas de noche y mejorar algunos enchufes.

The location was very convenient — close to restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, and the nightlife area, making it easy to explore and enjoy General Luna

The location is very convenient in General Luna, right on the main road. At the same time, it’s surprisingly quiet and you don’t hear the street noise.

The property is priced more like a luxury hotel, which does not match the actual standard of a hostel. The bathrooms and showers are in poor condition and appear to have been neglected for a long time. Cleanliness overall is an issue, with many insects and cockroaches present, and the place clearly needs urgent pest control. There is no housekeeping service. During our entire stay, our sheets and towels were not changed at all. The room itself is also not well designed for comfort, as the curtains do not block light, making it very bright early in the morning. The biggest issue was the conduct around payments. After initially booking through Booking, we extended our stay directly at the reception. While we were first given a lower price, we were later repeatedly asked to pay additional charges for different reasons. The receptionist claimed these demands came from the owner, but she was effectively managing everything herself. This created an uncomfortable and untrustworthy experience and eventually led us to leave. We were even asked to pay extra for using the air conditioner, which is unreasonable given the climate in Siargao, especially in April.

Good location

The family room is tiny. 4sqm max. Right next to the family home so everyone is walking around. The staff tries to “scam” you most times. For example in the deposit they don’t remind you you need money back. Same as the early check in they try to get a fee.

The location was very close to restaurants and stores and the beach.

The place was amazing. Great location, everything was close but still peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling 😊 they really made the stay special. The atmosphere was perfect for enjoying Siargao. Honestly, it’s hard to find anything negative.

la cabaña era bastante pequeña, éramos un grupo de 8 personas y no había habitaciones, simplemente eran dos plantas, la de abajo con un colchón y la de arriba con los colchones tirados Además, solo había un baño, lo que complicaba bastante su uso Finalmente, aunque la cabaña si estaba limpia, apareció una rata en ella y tuvimos que dormir escuchándola por el tejado En general, es un alojamiento decente si buscas algo barato y te conformas con la básico

The location is perfect. I also appreciate what they did with the landscaping. It looks nice. The room is more spacious than most hotels so for 2 people it was perfect. The internet is strong and stable. It's great that they have hot water too.

What made my experience here miserable was all the mosquitos and ants! It's hard to sleep when ants are crawling in the bed and biting you all night and the mosquitos are buzzing in your ear and biting your face and neck. This could have been easily avoided with better doors that dont leave large gaps.

Leuk uniek huisje middenin het centrum van Siargao. Genoeg ruimte en opbergruimte, hygiënisch. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en wil je altijd helpen. Scooterverhuur werkt hier ook fijn. We werden zelfs uitgenodigd voor de christmasparty met de familie en personeel van de eigenaar, we voelden ons welkom.

De badkamer is een beetje outdated maar werkt prima. Daarnaast zijn de gordijnen niet verduisterend en staat er snachts een lamp aan op het terras die je niet zelf uit kan zetten. Sochtends vroeg veel lawaai van personeel wat aan het werk was, timmeren e.d. dus we waren altijd vroeg wakker.

Comfortable room with A/C. 3 shared bathrooms for 5 rooms. "Quiet time" between 9pm and 7am. Coffee and water are provided on the balcony. Walking distance to good food and nightlife. Short ride to cloud 9. They rent scooters so you can get around on your own, too. Decent price for 5 nights with the family. Overall, chill island vibe.

I dont like mosquitoes, but I recommend "Off". It really keeps them from biting you. BTW, mosquitoes are everywhere, so this has nothing to do with Mera's. Oh yeah, you book it as Latitude 10, but it's now called Mera's Garden with "formerly Latitude 10" written just underneath. But that wasn't a big deal.

No noise from the street, no roosters screaming, no music from the bars - very quiet. Good size of the room and bathroom, comfy bed, big tank of drinking water, parking area. And they have power generator which is very useful because of frequent blackouts in the whole island. The stuff is very friendly and helpful in case you ask them. (But if you don't ask they do not clean your room.)

Very slow WiFi, very weak water pressure in the shower (which makes the temperature of the water up and down) and the ants were eating the celling which made a wood powder falling to the floor. All these issues can be fixed by the owner and it will make this hotel super good value.

El personal hace lo que puede para resolver todos los problemas del “hotel”

Nos cambiaron 3 veces de habitación, en la primera al llegar de cenar nos encontramos muchas hormigas dentro de la cama (sábanas), lo primero que nos dijo el dueño que estaba y salió desnudo en su casa (contigua a las habitaciones) es que me daba un spray para matarlas y después de quejarnos mucho nos cambiaron de habitación. Al día siguiente nos pidieron q nos cambiásemos de habitación otra vez que la que nos habían dado era para otros clientes, a pesar de negarnos nos obligaron de malas maneras. Nos dieron una al lado de recepción donde muchos inquilinos deciden continuar la fiesta y no les dicen nada. Impidiendo que pudiéramos dormir desde las 5:30 de la mañana.

Location is conveniently located within walking distance to dining and party places however remains quiet for guests seeking restful night. Staff were polite/friendly.

Everything. This place was in a great location next to multiple shops and restaraunts. Its built with a place to park your bikes off the street and that front space dims the noise of the street. The bathrooms were clean and the place overall well maintained. The AC also worked really well. The owner David was very hospitable and chatted with my dad and I giving us tips and recommendations. Overall a great experience

The only draw back of the place is there are way too many mosquitos. Would be good if the villa had a mosquito zapper or fan outside the balcony.

The location is at the center of Siargao. Nesrby resto and bars are accessible by walk. The bed and toilet is very comfortable. Aircondition works well.

The picture is deceiving. It is located at the center so the nearby establishments and building secludes the area from the view like that. There is no view aside from the walls of its sorroundings.

Ceiling fan only worked supposedly if generator was on. Generator was broke and owner did not care. On 2nd day when power was out most of the day and evening, the staff to include owners wife and front desk pleaded with owner to help the staff with generator. He refused and said he’d think about it. He said he asked for key for 6 months and was denied. He said he showed the staff how to work it. The staff pleaded with him and he simply refused in front of guests. That’s all you need to know about Latitude 10. They don’t care and don’t deserve guests. Ants have overrun the property. The front desk did give a spray that was similar to air freshener but definitely did nothing to kill the ants. The ants were all over the room including the bed. The hotel said they clean the room every other day so that meant it was cleaned once in 4 days but they should have sprayed it for ants multiple times a day. There was a burning and Cig smoke smell coming through the A/C vent every morning and I advised the front desk. They were oblivious to it. I had to turn off the A/C then the room got hot as fan don’t work so had to hear the roosters, tv or radio etc. Choose your poison. The last evening I went out to eat and no one was at the front desk so I took the key with me and put it in my pocket When I got back at 9:30 pm the key had broken in my pocket so I knew I’d lose the P500 key deposit. It took over 30 min to get in my room as front desk gave me a lecture and argued with me. I just asked to get in the room and they acted like they didn’t have a spare. How about if I’d lost the key. That’s why we pay the key deposit. The front desk lady on the same eve told my friend in another room that she’d see us off in the morning an return his deposit. We asked for the money that eve but she said no I’ll be up. When we went to the front desk at 3:55 am the lady was not there. No one was.

Near tourist spots. Receptionist Jen is very friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable.

The front desk person who welcomed us was warm, caring, and friendly. The location can't be beat.

There's lots of ants everywhere. It would have helped if there was at least a mini fridge to put leftovers. I tossed most of the food I bought because it was swarmed by ants in a matter of minutes.

Well, Where do we begin. AC did not properly work, it was hot all night. No pest control whatsoever, if you like to reside with ants , tnis is the place to be, I had termited all over me in bed and pillows. Place is neglected, not maintained, needs cleaning, needs maintenance, need remodeling. Water faucet was not operational, Had to wash hands in shower, no big deal. What else did not like - place is noisy, window in bathroom is open air , noise comes thru nearby karaoke bars . Place had some potential possibly years ago when it was named Lattitude 10, it is no longer this name, Now it appears has changed ownership and management - Meera’s Garden is the new name. Management , if you are reading this, understand that you need to take care of your rooms and not just charge the tourists for poor maintained resort. Do not neglect this review.
