Moonlight House

This is such a nice place to stay. The village is lovely and the owners are very friendly. This was really everything we hoped to find for our stay in the Korean countryside.

Le futon coreen est tres fin et manque de confort pour un europeen.

Es ist eine Unterkunft mit traditionellen Tatami-Matten… - das ist ungewohnt, aber wir hatten es ja bewusst so gewählt. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren total sauber und mit allem ausgestattet (Klimanalage, Föhn, Wasserkocher usw.). Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Es gab ein tolles Frühstück im Garten mit frischen Früchten aus dem eigenen Garten.

A pleasant stay with very nice and helpful people.

The communication with the hosts was excellent. They were very kind and flexible. The breakfast was wonderful, with local ingredients and marigold tea from the garden. The bathroom was very modern with a great shower. The place was the perfect combination of traditional living (sleeping on a thin mattress with traditional bedding) and modern amenities - underfloor heating, wifi, good bathroom facilities.

The location is remote and difficult to get to without a car but our hosts were very kind and dropped us off/picked us up from Cheongsong so this wasn’t a major limitation.

Le bon accueil, l’amabilité et la serviabilité du couple. Le jardin, malgré une météo défavorable. La proximité immédiate de quelques bâtiments historiques intéressants.

Je n’ai pas assez, dans mes réservations, prêté attention au fait que souvent en Corée dans les guest house les chambres sont presque nues. Pas de table. Pas de chaise. Parfois comme ici un tout petit oreiller. Ce qui, lorsque l’on est vieux et que l’on n’a pas l’habitude de vivre au sol, rend inconfortable le fait de manger et de passer la soirée (sur un futon tout mince, sans rien pour tenir son dos). Les toilettes et la salle de bains étaient situés en-dehors de la chambre, juste à côté, mais aller uriner à 5h00 du matin fin octobre à l’extérieur est moyennement agréable. Ce genre d’hébergement est probablement plus pertinent lorsqu’il fait beau (et que l’on peut manger dehors, dans le jardin).

This was a very special stay for us. The location is breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, the host treated us like family, building a special bond with our three year old girl. We didnt have a car, so the host went out of their way to drop us at the bus station so we could get the free bus to the national park, and then drove us to the next town so we could get the train to our next destination. Our little girl picked potatoes on the host's small farm, leaving her with special memories. We could not recommend Moonlight House any higher. The hosts and their home will always be in our hearts.

L’emplacement est incroyable, proche du parc naturel. Les hôtes sont adorables et très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

폭염 속 주왕산 국립공원 등산 후 지쳐 도착한 별달 숙소에서 완벽한 하룻밤을 보냈습니다. 지난 봄 화마를 잘 이겨내고 훌륭한 서비스를 제공주셔서 감사합니다.

산불피해로 일부 시설이 소실됐다 하셨다. 숙소 자체는 아무런 피해가 없어서 이용하는 데 불편함은 없었다. 주변이 매우 조용하고 여름임에도 밤에 시원한 바람이 방으로 들어와 시원했다. 옛날식 구조라서 천장이 매우 낮다.

Great location in an old traditional village. Incredible hospitality by the hosts who welcomed us like a visiting family member. Highly recommended if you are interested in experiencing true Korean treat.

If you are a westerner who never sleeps on a floor, bedding might not be very comfortable. That being said, it’s also part of the experience.

This was such a great stay! The hosts were the nicest couple and they took so much care in providing whatever we needed. If we could, we would definitely stay here again. The pictures don't do the place justice. It was so much more beautiful with the mountains in the background and the blooming flowers and benches where we could enjoy a complimentary breakfast with homemade flower tea and we loved the homemade apple juice we got upon arrival. The village is full of history in such a tranquil environment. This was a superb stay!!

안에 주차도 할수있구요 문을열면 예쁜꽃들도볼수있고 이불도 깔깔~ 고양이들도 있지만 일정거리 유지해주니까 걱정마시길~ 새벽별을 못보고 와서 넘 아쉽~~ 조식은 마법을 부렸는지 넘 맛있었어요 송소집사람들은 다 금손인가봐요 꼭 심부자집도 들려보시길 추천드립니다

Location, friendly people

The traditional rooms were lovely, especially the beds, it was a great experience. The location was fantastic, and the quiet atmosphere really helped us feel like we were on a camping trip. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. Offered us fantastic breakfast and homemade tea and helped us out with transport the next day, they looked up bus times for us and even drove us to the bus stop. Next time we will definitely stay for much much longer there.

The hosts were incredibly gracious, the mountain views were lovely, & the garden was so pleasant to sit in while eating the delicious breakfast. We arrived late Sunday night, & the hostess was kind enough to drive us to a nearby convenience store to find food, given the restaurants in the area were long-closed. We so appreciated her care!

The beds are thin by Western standards, so non-Koreans may find sleeping on the floor uncomfortable.

The beautiful, traditional property was situated in a valley filled with flowers and apple trees. We could walk to a historical village. The hosts were such wonderful people - so friendly and welcoming. Sleeping on the floor in a perfectly appointed hanok was such a novelty for us. We were served a delicious breakfast - what a delightful experience!

숙박 많이 해 봤는데. 이곳에서 처음으로. 대접받는 기분이 들었어요. 월마다 오고 싶은데 너무 멀고. 시간이 안되서 그건 어려우니 계절별로라도. 시간 되면 오려고 생각중이에요

기대를 않했는데 편안하고 깔끔하며, 주위에 고택이 많아 볼거리도 있었습니다. 주인분이 아침에 넣주신 조시고 좋았습니다

1박 2일간 머물렀습니다. 조용하고 안락한 숙소와 호스트 부부 두 분의 친절함에 몸도 마음도 편안히 지냈습니다. 다음날 오전에는 건강한 아침식사를 방으로 넣어주셔서 든든하게 산행길에 오를 수 있었습니다. 감나무와 꽃밭이 어우러진 예쁜 마당이 있으며 아침에 찾아오는 안개가 멋진 곳입니다. 혼자 혹은 둘이 머물기에 너무나 좋은 숙소입니다. 또 방문하고 싶습니다. 추천합니다. *제가 머문 방은 드나드는 출입문 외에 사용하지 않는 문이 하나 더 있는데 밤에는 그 문을 통해 불빛이 들어와서 잠을 자는데 살짝 방해가 되었습니다. 암막커튼을 설치하면 더할나위 없이 좋을 것 같아 후기에 남깁니다.

깨끗하고 고즈넉하고 위치도 좋았어요. 도착하자마자 고택들도 둘러보기에도 좋았고 앞에 메밀꽃도 보기 좋았고 아침으로 요거트도 환상적으로 멋있고 맛있는 아침식사주셨어요. ㅎㅎ 무엇보다도 깨끗해요 크지는 않지만 마당에 꽃한가득이고 좋습니다.

방이 깔끔하고 청결합니다. 사장님 내외분이 정말 친절하시고 생각지도 못한 조식까지 주셨는데 제대로 대접받고 온 기분이네요. 송소고택과 같은 고택은 아니지만 잘 관리된 아담한 집에서 편안하고 행복하게 지내고 왔습니다. 다음에 청송 방문할 일이 있다면 또다시 가고 싶은 곳이네요.

오랫만에 청송으로 가족여행가서 잘쉬다가왔어요 아늑하고 깨끗하네요.가격도 저렴하고요 경치도좋고 힐링하고왔어요 숙소도 깨끗하고 주인분들께서 너무 친절해요 아침도 주시고.직접만든 허브티도 주시고... 다시 가보고싶은 숙소입니다

둘이서 화장실딸린 방에서 묵었습니다. 한옥에서 묵는 건 처음이라 혹시 시설이 오래되진 않을까 걱정했는데 전혀 그렇지 않았습니다. 방도 바닥에서 자는 만큼 먼지 하나 없이 깨끗이 청소해 두셨습니다. 주인 부부 두분 다 매우 친절하셔서 잘 자고 왔습니다. 이불도 매번 커버를 새탁하시는 것 깉았습니다. 방안에 인스턴트 차, 커피 및 과일도 주셔서 감사했습니다. 주차 가능하고 방안에 샴푸 등등 다 있습니다.

Great stay, location about 5 min by car from Cheongsong bus terminal, Moon light house located in very beautiful, silence and historic traditional village with very beautiful historic houses. the room have very beautiful mountain view. the house holder family were very nice, welcoming and help me, they contact me by own tel and pick up me from and to the bus terminal, also they pick up me to the Juwangsan national park early in the morning of the next day.The house holder family also help in any think:they help to reserve very nice traditional restaurant and worry about every think, also they pick up me to the main gate of Dalgi waterfall after checking out and tel me the opportunity to drink the mineral water from the nature spring. The room is traditional korean as appear in the photo of hotel come site and its very clean and enough comfortable with private toilet and shower. The house holder family welcome me every morning and evening with free drinks and some snake. I was in many country and hotels in the word and in Korea but like this I wasn't see. In this stay I feel that I one of the family member and not foreigner person, this feeling I feel just in this property.
