Das Team vor Ort versucht wirklich jeden Wunsch möglich zu machen. Das Essen ist unglaublich gut und die Lodge insgesamt wirklich toll. Besonders schön ist, dass man von der Lodge aus mehrere Stellen zum Beobachten der Tiere hat. Ich habe mich selten in einer Unterkunft so willkommen und wohl gefühlt wie hier.

Inzalo is a beautiful, intimate lodge in Welgevonden with a peaceful setting and a really personal, owner-run feel. The property blends naturally into the landscape, with lovely views, a calm atmosphere, and a strong sense of being immersed in the bush. The reserve itself was much bigger and more varied than I expected, with open plains, rocky areas, changing scenery, and a real feeling of space. The safari experience was fantastic. During my stay I saw an amazing variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetah, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, giraffe, kudu, zebra, warthogs, hyena,, impala, owls, kingfishers, raptors, and plenty of smaller moments that made every drive feel special. One of the highlights was having elephants come right up near the lodge and porch, which made the whole experience even more memorable. The people really made the stay. Bertus was outstanding as both a guide and host. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made the drives interesting and informative without ever feeling rushed or too formal. Dave and Henriette have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the lodge, and Dave personally checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly throughout my stay. Tina, the manager, was always attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Sparky’s food was a real standout, and Maria and Patricia added to the warm atmosphere with their kindness and thoughtful service. As a solo traveller, I felt completely comfortable and well looked after. The whole experience felt relaxed, personal, and unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back again!

The food was excellent and kitchen staff and servers were an absolute pleasure and very attentive. Carol is a star. The rooms were immaculate and extremely comfortable

We did not enjoy the game ranger that was on duty during our stay. He had a very condescending attitude and could have shared a lot more knowledge with the guests. I must say that I would return to the establishment any time but would definitely first enquire who will be the ranger.

J’ai passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Inzalo, tout était parfait. Du lodge, à la nourriture (chefs incroyables bravo), le staff, ils sont tous très attentionnés et à l’écoute des besoins. Étant seule je l’ai encore plus ressenti! Merci beaucoup à tous. Et un merci plus particulier à Sfiso, meilleur guide!! Il fait tout pour qu’on puisse voir le plus d’animaux possibles et connaît parfaitement son métier, super cool etc… J’ai passé de supers moments grâce à lui! Je reviendrai c’est sure 😍

The staff is incredible! We had a special request and the team went above and beyond in making it happen with discretion. A big thank you to the chefs who made mouthwatering food and to Bertus for the best game drives we’ve been on. Lulu, you crept into all of our hearts. The tents are clean and well appointed. Everything about the place is worth Every cent. All the staff members are super friendly and kind to each and every guest. I went for a solo birthday trip and it'll be one of my most memorable birthdays. The chefs cater to everyone's dietary requirements. The guide is very knowledgeable and interactive and super friendly. She's the Elephant whisperer. Carol and Maria, very friendly and kind. Overall, the team at Inzalo (Owners and staff) is exceptional. It looks exactly the same as on the pictures(even more nicer)

The location is spectacular and really beautiful landscape.

Their bed in Room 5 squicks & makes noise even when u just sitting on it and to my view needs replacement. There is no communal swimming pool and huge bummer for a holiday!!!

We had an amazing luxurious 2-night stay. It was the best stay we have ever had at a game lodge. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and special. The service is excellent provided by staff who are wonderfully warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The game drives with Wiseman, our guide, delivered new and exciting experiences including the big five. Delicious food at every meal and gorgeous views from stunning private rooms deliver on a quality luxury experience. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was great, the chef daily choice was excellent, there was no such a thing like same food every day. The chef was changing his dishes. The facilities were cleaned , it was the best birthday time spent while celebrating my 50th birthday. I intend to return, I miss them. I was positively surprised daily , they made me feel like a queen. Thank you very much. And this feeling at home away from home, only Inzalo can provide travelers with that experience.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The entire experience was worth every penny and more. The food was amazing and everyone at Inzalo was exceptionally attentive. A special shout-out to Zaan, Chef Sparky, Christelle, Patricia and Carol. We were spoilt to a romantic turndown on the last night. What a treat!! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely return to Inzalo.

Design, layout, location was stunning

The lodge is situated in the middle of Wolgevoden game research. We had excellent game drives, also spotting cheetahs and lions. Rooms and service are extraordinary good and friendly, You feel at home in the wilderness.The lodge accomodates a maximum of 10 guests.

All of the meals were exceptional. The choice of wines was great and fairly priced. Our game drives were amazing - our guide Zaan went out of her way to work with the guides from all over the reserve to track the game.

Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was the best safari experience I've ever had. Everyone is really amazing here. Zaan is the coolest. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. Felt really special celebrating my birthday here. Will definitely be coming back.

Owners Dave and Henriette Rieger are fantastic hosts that have built a great team with amazing talented staff. The safari lodge is located in the Waterberg Biosphere of South Africa’s charming Limpopo Province, the Welgevonden Game Reserve. There safari suites are situated on a river with 5 beautiful decorated safari tented style villas with decks overlooking the river with panoramic views and a plunge pool. The owners investigated multi lodges over to design hard wall villas with a true tent feel. We absolutely loved it. The food was incredible and the chief was truly magnificent.

Everything! Room was lovely, with great view. Food was amazing - slightly unusual there wasn't really lunch unless you requested it. Hosts were very friendly and Zann the guide was brilliant- made the drives a real joy, regardless of what you saw.

it has a great location on a little river. the guide was lovely and the staff in general were great. They gave extra care for my husbands birthday and made it memorable for him.

the manager didn’t know how to work her booking system and kept trying to get me to pay a second time despite having already paid on booking.com which was frustrating. (resolved eventually after the stay). we also often stay at safari places for a similar price point but found this one fell short for the $$
