It's a good resort with lots of green, good gym and amazin staff that cares about you. There are 3 main dining options: Yumi cafe + Lighthouse + Fish market. Last 2 are reservations and for dinner only. For brunch / afternoon you have 2 very good options: near Yumi cafee and the Retreat. Nice chill atmosphere and good vibe there. You are provided with 2 bicycles that are super comfortable to move around the island. Took manta-ray excursion and it was amazing! I had my birthday there and it was really nice present from the hotel, management and people working there. Really service is supr good here! Snorkling area also good, but I've seen 3 time shark like meter and a half long, not super comfortable for me to swim around those :D But so far no incident.

Lots of russians, menu proposed is in russian, there are russian songs played and those botox-filled russo-ladies laughing, enjoying the life ultra loud. Nobody was that loud as any russian there. And besides of that they are openly discussion "governmental contracts", bribes and etc. This was nuts. And this is all during third year of full-scale war. In Overwater villa literally no space to store luggage, clothes and etc. So everything is laying everywhere and every day feels a bit like fighting a small mess you trying to avoid but still end up doing. Situation is better in beach villa, where you have literally all the space needed to put your stuff. We had also weird smell in our overwater villa, for me it's like really toxic. We found out it was a wood + glue + fungus on the villa terrace. It happens, was handled ok by the staff. Some of the food options / drinks are not in the breakfast menu / you don't know about them. For example fresh sliced mango or papaya. We found out randomly. Same with matcha. It's not a big deal, but why it's like that?

All! It is a really 5 stars. Design of room is fantastic. Pools and view were a dream. And staff is super! great experience!

This is the best hotel in the Maldives. Paradise. Service at the highest level!

It was my husband & I's first time in the Maldives. Whilst we know it's not cheap, we thought it was money well spent, & had the best time. We stayed for 4 nights but wished we'd stayed for longer. Our room (sunset overwater villa) was luxurious, especially with the private pool. The facilities at the resort were always clean. There is a variety of activities including snorkelling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fitness classes & yoga, so we were never bored. All staff were incredibly friendly and service impeccable. Our island curator went the extra mile when I asked to organise a bath! We truly felt the staff wanted us to enjoy our time at the resort & we did. Food was delicious - there is a wide range of dishes on the menu. We particularly loved the afternoon tea which is included as part of Club Benefits. We were always very well fed so didn't need to eat lunch. We were blessed with perfect weather and beautiful sunsets each day. At night the sky was perfectly clear, so the stars in the night sky were visible. The house reef is teamed with plenty of fish & we were lucky to see eagle rays whilst snorkelling. The highlight was the dolphin sunset cruise. Whilst not guaranteed to see any dolphins, after an hour cruising the ocean, we were delighted with the presence of a pod of dolphins happily swimming along the boat with the most beautiful sunset as the backdrop. We were so blessed! Our entire stay felt like it was a dream. We highly recommend the Intercontinental.

The property and service at this resort are incredibly luxurious. Keep up the good work! We stayed in an overwater villa - beautifully decorated and kept spotless by the staff throughout our stay. Prepare to be pampered - the team goes out of their way to ensure your every request is met. The meals were delicious, food fresh and provided a good variety of options. We’re looking forward to a future visit at this special resort.
