Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa - Deluxe All Inclusive

C’est notre deuxième expérience aux Maldives. Nous avons ainsi pu comparer par rapport à notre précédente expérience au nord de l’atoll d’Ari. Tout d’abord, une faune marine exceptionnelle à proximité immédiate de notre villa sunset sur pilotis, mais aussi depuis différents endroits de l’hôtel. Nous avions choisi l’Emerald Faarufushi pour cela et nous avons été vraiment ravis ! Notre villa était très confortable (literie au top), spacieuse et bien équipée (grande baignoire, piscine, …). Nous avons même pu personnaliser le contenu du minibar ! Quant au service, le personnel est aux petits soins pour faire de votre séjour une expérience vraiment au top. Un grand merci en particulier à Tharif, notre villa host pour avoir répondu à toutes nos attentes et à Irman pour nous avoir fait profiter de son talent pour la décoration de notre lit et ses messages calligraphiés dans notre langue (on était impressionnés !). Un grand merci aussi à Roberto et Thas du club de plongée ! Sans Roberto, je n’aurais jamais dépassé ma peur de la plongée et ils nous ont tous deux fait vivre des expériences aquatiques inoubliables. Nous avons pu voir un grand nombre de coraux, de poissons multicolores, de tortues, de dauphins mais aussi une raie manta ! Les excursions sont évidemment en supplément mais elles en valent vraiment le coup ! La formule tout inclus est vraiment complète et permet de profiter d’un grand nombre de saveurs internationales mais aussi de très bons cocktails. Merci à tout le personnel et en particulier à Sajid, Arres, Hanto, Rabiul et Prahir. Par ailleurs, si vous êtes français, je vous conseille de vous concentrer sur les saveurs locales et asiatiques qui sont plus dépaysantes pour nos palais. Enfin, l’île est parfaitement entretenue et les espaces sont très beaux. Il est d’ailleurs très agréable d’avoir à notre disposition des vélos pour se balader ou simplement se déplacer. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe de nous avoir chouchoutés ! On a hâte de revenir !

Semplicemente meraviglioso! Struttura eccezionale, laguna spettacolare e house reef ricchissimo, perfetto per lo snorkeling. La nostra Overwater Villa era incredibile: spaziosa, elegantissima, con tantissima privacy e una terrazza privata da sogno. All Inclusive di altissimo livello, con cucina ottima dalla colazione alla cena e servizi davvero curati. Una menzione speciale va allo staff, sempre gentile, disponibile e attentissimo ai dettagli. Ottime anche le escursioni e le attività proposte. Per il nostro viaggio di nozze non avremmo potuto chiedere di meglio. Un vero paradiso

Le service est au top. Nous avons passé une semaine dans une beach villa et nous avons adoré. La nourriture délicieuse et variée. Les chambres sont ultra propres. Pour notre bébé de 4 mois on a eu le nécessaire : lit, baignoire, matelas à langer et en plus la cosmétique (shampooing, gel douche, body lotion et les serviettes). Merci à Faya et Bagus pour le service.

Нам довелось пообщаться с некоторыми из них, и стало понятно, что этот отель заботится не только о гостях, но и о сотрудниках, что также непременно сказывается на сервисе в благоприятную сторону. 2: еда была великолепна. Везде. Любая. В пакет all inclusive были включены все рестораны на острове, то есть не нужно было выяснять, куда мы можем пойти просто так, а за что будет доплата. Классно, что резорт не стал мелочиться на этом, вместо этого дав гостям свободный выбор и полностью расслабиться. Наш замечательный менеджер Фаяз (Fayaz) заранее забронировал нам все ужины и ланчи таким образом, чтобы мы посетили всё и ничего не упустили. Да и вообще Фаяз решал все наши вопросы и даже предвосхищал некоторые из них! Спасибо! Если вам повезет и вашим сомелье будет Нима (Neema), то у вас гарантировано будет самое вкусное вино на столе и ее потрясающая искренняя улыбка будет дополнять ваш ужин :) 3: на острове есть красивый домашний риф, мы снорклили почти каждый день и делали бы это больше, если бы не дождь. 4: уборка в номере дважды в день была даже не столько про уборку (хотя было идеально чисто), сколько про заботу. Вечером на тумбе у кровати появлялась водичка, чтобы налить себе стаканчик не вставая с кровати. Встаешь с кровати - а там уже мягкие тапочки, подготовленные персоналом с вечера. В один из вечеров нас вообще дома ждала горячая пенная ванна. Нам не довелось встретиться с теми, кто так бережно заботился о нашей комнате, но мы им очень-очень благодарны. Удалось лишь один раз увидеть Кетута (Ketut), так что спасибо как минимум ему :) Спасибо Арресу (Arres) за то, что он всегда улыбнется, всегда что-то скажет доброе или пошутит. Очень позитивные чувства остались после отпуска. Спасибо!

Очень приятный и качественный отдых. Резорт оставил отличное впечатление: красивая территория, комфортное размещение, хорошая организация и внимательный персонал. Хочу отдельно поблагодарить шеф-повара Sameera Fernando. Кухня была действительно на уровне: свежие продукты, вкусные блюда, всё аккуратно и продуманно. Особенно понравилось, что шеф лично интересовался впечатлениями гостей и был открыт к пожеланиям — это сильно чувствуется и добавляет сервису индивидуальности. Отдельное спасибо Дарье, нашей хозяйке виллы. Она помогала во всём, причём не формально, а по-настоящему по-человечески. Помогала с организационными вопросами, выручала в бытовых ситуациях, приносила зонтики во время дождя, а однажды даже ночью принесла крем от ожогов. Это очень запомнилось. Также большое спасибо инструктору по дайвингу Владу. Благодаря ему мы прошли обучение и сделали Open Water Diver. Влад очень профессиональный, спокойный и позитивный инструктор, всё объясняет понятно, поддерживает и создаёт ощущение полной безопасности.

Отличный резорт, всё на очень высоком уровне. Отдельная благодарность шеф-повару Sameera Fernando — кухня была прекрасно организована: свежие продукты, вкусная еда, разнообразие, и при этом шеф всегда лично интересовался, всё ли понравилось и есть ли пожелания. Большое спасибо нашей хозяйке виллы Дарье. Она невероятно внимательный и отзывчивый человек, помогала буквально во всём: от зонтиков, когда мы попали под дождь, до организации разных процессов на острове. Даже ночью принесла крем от ожогов — это очень по-человечески и очень ценно. Также огромная благодарность инструктору по дайвингу Владу. Он помог нам пройти обучение и получить Open Water Diver. Очень профессиональный, спокойный, позитивный и внимательный инструктор, с которым чувствуешь себя уверенно и безопасно.

Серьёзных минусов не было. Отдых прошёл отлично, персонал сделал всё, чтобы пребывание было комфортным.

Nothing, everything was perfect

We had an amazing stay and loved everything about this resort, from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The experience started at the airport, where a hotel representative was already waiting for us. During our stay, we had a personal host available on WhatsApp at any time. Our host, Faya, was fantastic and did everything to make sure our vacation was smooth and stress-free. Every evening he would stop by our table at dinner to check if everything was okay and whether we needed anything. The food was excellent, with a lot of variety every day. We also loved the selection of à la carte restaurants, and it was very convenient that the staff arranged all the reservations for us. The mobile app was another great feature, making it easy to keep track of everything during our stay. There was a great selection of drinks and alcohol, and the villas were spacious, comfortable and had excellent air conditioning. This was our second trip to the Maldives, and we can honestly say this is one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the Maldives.

We had the most amazing stay at Emerald Faarufushi and truly couldn’t fault a thing. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food, facilities, and overall service were absolutely fantastic, and every little detail was taken care of to make our trip unforgettable. During our stay we also got engaged, and the team truly made it the most magical and memorable experience. They helped with every detail and went above and beyond to make the moment even more special than we could have imagined. It’s something we will remember forever, and we can’t thank them enough for everything they did. A special thank you to Fayaz, who was brilliant throughout our stay. He was always there to help with anything we needed and made sure everything ran smoothly, playing a big part in making our trip so memorable. All of the staff members were fantastic and made us feel so welcome every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the level of service was amazing from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend this resort (we came for our honeymoon). We researched other hotels at a similar price point but settled on this one due to the outstanding reviews. We are pleased to report that this place does indeed live up to expectations. Rooms We spent 7 nights here (3 X beach villa and 4 X over the water villa with pool). There are pros and cons for each villa but, on balance, they are special in their own way. There are bicycles outside each villa which is convenient to get around. Restaurants We were apprehensive that we might get bored of the food with the all-inclusive package but there are different restaurants to choose from with a myriad of genres and food selection. You’ll only wish that you had two stomachs to eat everything. All meals were delicious. Chef's kiss! Activities There were a lot of things to do at the resort from snorkelling/sea sports to padel to massages to dolphin watching. Some activities are complementary, some chargeable but all were thoroughly enjoyable. Staff We must commend the staff. Everyone here from server to security guard to villa host to management deserves a gold star. Everyone is willing to bend over backwards to look after you. We were impressed by the professionalism, warmth, care, and pride in work that each person exhibits. This is testament to the general manager Patrick who is ever-present and personable. A special shout out to our villa host, Fayaz, who organised our life for the week with a smile and F&B manager, Arres, who checked in on us every day. All we can say is have high expectations, and watch them be exceeded.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Am Flughafen wurden wir herzlich Empfangen und Dank eines perfekt organisierten Transfers mit dem Wasserflugzeug konnte unser Urlaub entspannt beginnen. Fayaz war unser Host und hat sich während der Zeit um uns bestens gekümmert. Er hat für uns die Reservierungen in den Restaurants bereits arrangiert. Fayaz war auch bei allen anderen Anliegen immer für uns da und konnte uns alle Wünsche erfüllen wie z.B. spontane Termine im Spa, Ausflüge buchen oder late checkout. Das Essen in allen Restaurants ist abwechslungsreich, von ausgesprochen guter Qualität und immer liebevoll angerichtet. Unsere Favoriten waren der Beach Club und das Mediterraneo. Fisch und Fleisch sind auf den Punkt gegrillt. Im all inklusive ist eine gute Auswahl an hochwertigen Weinen, Champagner und Cocktails enthalten. Das gesamte Personal egal ob Spa, Diving Center, Fitness oder Rezeption war ausgesprochen freundlich. Besonders positiv ist uns die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals in den Restaurants aufgefallen. Besondere Vorlieben wurden sich schnell gemerkt und die Wünsche schon von den Augen abgelesen. Übernachtet haben wir in der Beachvilla mit Pool. Ein Highlight ist das Bad mit der offenen Dusche. Ein Dankeschön geht auch an Naveen. Er hat das Zimmer zweimal am Tag super gründlich gereinigt und hergerichtet. Naveen hat sich auch sehr viel Mühe gegeben, uns zu unserem Hochzeitstag eine kleine Überraschung vorzubereiten. Ein besonderer Dank geht auch an Sonwal. Die Yoga Sessions haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Da ich von Rückenschmerzen geplagt war, habe ich sogar spezielle Yogaübungen für meine Probleme bekommen. Alle haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns rundherum wohl und glücklich gefühlt haben.

We had an amazing time at emerald faarufushi in the Maldives. The island was beautiful, we loved taking the bikes around, walking the beach searching for shells, and laying by the pools. We stayed in the over water villa and the beach front villa with pool during our stay and while both were beautiful we preferred the beach villa with our kids (age 2 and 4). Mr. Patrick the GM was always checking in with us during our stay. Shoutouts for the following individuals: Fayaz was our villa host and helped us coordinate everything from room needs to restaurant reservations, life jackets and excursions. He was very attentive and responsive. Naaish and Viyaam at water sports made an amazing experience for us and our kids. We took advantage of the kayaking and glass bottom boats with our kids and did a bit of jet skiing while our kids were in the kids club. The hostesses, servers, chefs and managers at all the restaurants were amazing and made us feel special. Adel the hostess at aqua was so kind. Priyanka was very engaging with our kids. Arres the HOD was always happy to see us and made us feel welcome. Sajanie was very friendly and we loved chatting with her. Sangam at aqua made my kids smile with fruit and ice cream everyday. Awaniti and Donny at Aqua made our kids Mickey and mini pancakes every morning. The bartenders at the pool bar made excellent mocktails and lattes. We also appreciate all the behind the scenes staff who made our stay excellent which includes the grounds keepers, housekeepers, maintenance staff, etc.

Food variety was limited. Breakfast and lunch buffets had limited options and were the same every day.

Tutto!!! Struttura da sogno. Ma il personale in tutte le varie mansioni la rende indimenticabile. La cucina chef Moreno è stellare. Lo chef è sempre presente, disponibile e la passione per la cucina traspare nei piatti che realizza nei vari ristoranti. Faya vi ha assistito in tutta la vacanza assecondando tutte le nostre richieste. La camera sempre perfetta, purtroppo non ricordo il nome del responsabile . Qualità eccellente in tutto. E poi anche la barriera corallina è stupenda. Abbiamo visto una tartaruga, squaletti e pesci tropicali al resort. Grazie ad un escursione organizzata abbiamo nuotato con numerose mante in mare, una emozione indescrivibile.

We had an amazing stay at Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa and honestly struggled to find any real flaw during our holiday. The resort is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and elegant, and the level of service throughout the island was exceptional. A special mention goes to our villa host (Tharif) and to all the waiters and restaurant staff across every venue, in particular a young man with glasses at Mediterraneo whose name unfortunately we cannot . All staff was consistently warm, attentive, friendly and genuinely focused on making guests feel welcome. The attention to detail and customer care really stood out. Food quality was another highlight of the trip. We travel a lot and rarely find an all-inclusive resort with such consistently high standards. The ingredients, presentation and variety were excellent everywhere, but we especially loved the Mediterranean restaurant. A huge compliment to Donny, the sous chef, who did a fantastic job during Chef Moreno’s absence. Every dinner there was memorable, refined and full of flavor. We stayed in a Sunset Pool Villa and absolutely loved it. The privacy, the view, the direct access to the lagoon and the breathtaking sunsets made it feel like a dream. Waking up and ending the day there was truly special. We were also pleasantly surprised by the house reef, which was much better than expected: plenty of fish, beautiful colors and great snorkeling directly from the resort. Overall, Emerald Faarufushi exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality, food, comfort and overall experience. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury Maldives experience with genuinely caring staff and outstanding cuisine.

It was an incredible stay at Faru Fushi Emerland. Everything was perfectly organized for our honeymoon, from the moment we arrived at the airport until our departure. We tried all the restaurants in the resort, and the food was absolutely delicious. The spa and Massage experience were truly wonderful. We stayed first in the water villa and then moved to the beach villa, and both experiences were beautiful. The villas were spacious with a lovely outdoor bath. A special thanks to Fayaz, who accompanied us throughout our stay and took care of every little detail. It’s these small touches that make the experience truly special.

Emerald Faarufushi delivered a genuinely fantastic honeymoon experience overall. The island itself is stunning, the villas are exceptional, and the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between luxury, privacy, and relaxation. The spa experience was fantastic and one of the highlights of the trip, to the point we booked additional treatments after our complimentary honeymoon massage. The staff in general were very good throughout the resort, with a real shout out to Igga, Ram, Arres, and Rahiul who all stood out during our stay. Igga consistently went above and beyond for us, Ram at the beach club made lunches genuinely enjoyable every day, and both Arres and Rahiul provided excellent service throughout the trip. The beach club and restaurant teams as a whole also deserve particular credit for how hard they worked to create such a welcoming atmosphere. Other highlights included: - Beautiful beaches and excellent snorkelling - Excellent housekeeping and attention to detail - Great seaplane arrival and departure coordination - Thoughtful honeymoon touches throughout the stay - Spacious, luxurious water villa with pool - Bikes around the island which made getting around enjoyable - Very good food quality overall with strong variety - Beautifully designed island with lots of quiet, relaxing areas

Most of the negatives were relatively minor and operational rather than major issues, but they were the kinds of details that stop a resort moving from “excellent” to truly world-class luxury. There were a couple of occasions where restaurant reservation changes had not been updated correctly, which caused some unnecessary confusion and walking between venues. The staff handled this professionally afterwards, but at this level those details stand out. The evening entertainment was another area we felt could be improved, as performances lacked the refined atmosphere we expected from a luxury honeymoon resort. We also felt there were occasional moments where upselling around premium wines and drinks packages was a little too prominent during meals. Whilst food quality overall was very good, breakfast became somewhat repetitive during a two-week stay, with very little variation day to day. We also noticed that some buffet items looked less appealing later in the morning due to the humidity and heat and limited air conditioning in the breakfast area. Finally, whilst the beach club was excellent overall, the lunch menu became repetitive during a longer stay and would benefit from more rotation or specials for guests staying beyond a week. Improvements in these areas would push the resort up from a very high 8/10, to one of the very best in the Maldives.

Foram simplesmente os melhores dias das nossas vidas. O resort é a definição de paraíso! Ficamos na villa sobre a água com vista para o por do sol e não conseguimos colocar em palavras o quanto nos encantamos com a beleza do local. O serviço all inclusive foi impecável. A estrutura do resort é incrível. Desde a chegada fomos recebidos pelo nosso butler Tharif, sempre disponível, que já havia reservado todas as experiências para que a nossa estadia fosse perfeita. Vale ressaltar que o atendimento por todos os funcionários do hotel foi excepcional, com destaque para Sajanie, Prassanth, Lahiru, Neema, Ram, Sean, Ibrahim, Ammy, Lalith e Hanto. Só temos a agradecer por terem nos tratado tão bem na nossa lua de mel. Esperamos retornar em breve!

Appena arrivati sull'isola ci siamo subito resi conto dell'altissimo livello del resort e di come viene mantenuto perfettamente da tutto lo staff. Il nostro villa host Tharif è stato eccezionale soddisfacendo ogni nostra singola richiesta. Altra menzione di merito va al cameriere del beach club grill Rabiul che ci ha sempre coccolati con la sua gentilezza ed i suoi consigli. Ristoranti ottimi e cibo buonissimo. Bar Eclissi perfetto per vedere il tramonto e respirare un'atmosfera magica. Reef molto bello con un' enorme varietà e quantità di pesci. L'isola è piccola, si gira comodamente a piedi, ma è il classico caso in cui la qualità supera di gran lunga la quantità. SPA eccezionale.

Purtroppo ci sono tante barriere frangiflutti costituite da grossi massi, alcune anche molto vicino alla riva, su tutto il perimetro dell'isola che rovinano la vista ma non è ovviamente una colpa del resort.

Das Essen war ein besonderes Highlight. Das Buffet an Ostern war einmalig. Es gibt sehr viel kulinarische Abwechslung. Personal ist überall super nett. Massage im Spa war eine der Besten, die ich je hatte. Mit den Fahrrädern über die wunderschöne Insel zu fahren, machte sehr viel Spaß. Im Hausriff gibt es sehr viel zu sehen.

Die Wellenbrecher sind überall sehr präsent und stören die schöne Aussicht. Ich weiß, dass sie notwendig sind, aber leider sind sie nicht hübsch anzuschauen und hindern etwas das typische Maledivenflair.

The resort staff were always attentive, incredibly friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The resort is stunning with pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and the house reef is absolutely incredible for snorkelling. Our sunset water villa with a private pool was beautiful, and the views were a dream. There were plenty of exciting excursions available like jet skiing in the open ocean and snorkelling with Manta Rays. The guides made sure we were properly geared, safe and ready to have eventful outings. Food options were great with a variety of cuisines available and a gala evening with the whole resort having dinner on the beach! We honestly wish we’ll be able to return one day. Thank you to the entire Emerald Faarufushi team for making this such a magical holiday. We loved it!

A good hotel with excellent cuisine and a house reef. Special thanks to our butler, Daria. She made sure our stay was perfectly comfortable and set up some great snorkeling and fishing trips for us.

The water villa was of very good size for family of 4. It was very comfortable from the start. Tharif was a perfect butler he helped us with all the reservations for the restaurant. He was very helpful in guiding us with all the other activities around like water-sports, tennis etc. We had a lovely stay.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, the staff were incredible, facilities brilliant, room was epic! Best food and drink menu for an all inclusive, cocktails were not watered down as so many other resorts are, constant flow of good food and wine. Staff were always friendly and smiling and couldn't do enough for you, butler was always on hand to do anything you needed but also left you to it Buffet breakfast was amazing We will definitely be returning!!

The edges of the boardwalk are very low, could be a hazard when riding bikes, or for little ones

All staff were extremely friendly and obliging. The staff at Aqua, the Beach grill, sunset bar, Asiatique, the Tepinyaki and the Eclipse bar were all fantastic. Katak who serviced our room twice a day was exceptional so was our host Tharif. Thank you all for making our holiday an exceptional experience.

My mother and I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay here, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the scenery and the hospitality. The natural beauty of the island is simply breathtaking—the beach features the softest white sand, and the ocean is a striking Tiffany blue with beautifully distinct layers of color. The resort itself is exceptionally well-managed. Our room was kept flawlessly clean every day, providing a very comfortable space to relax. We also loved the food and beverage offerings, which were abundant, diverse, and of great quality. What truly sets this property apart is the attentive staff. Everyone was genuinely warm and welcoming; amazingly, they would remember our faces and greet us like friends after just a single interaction. A very special thank you goes to our butler, Eve. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful to assign us a Chinese-speaking butler upon noticing our nationality. Eve provided outstanding service and took perfect care of us throughout our entire trip.

To be honest, there isn't really anything we "didn't like," just a couple of small regrets. First, the seaplane transfer is a bit far. For travelers who already have a long layover getting to the Maldives, having to catch another seaplane right after arrival is honestly quite exhausting! Second, while it was lovely to see so many different kinds of little fish around the water villas, we did notice some dead corals. I'm not sure if it's due to the high volume of guests and frequent human activity over time, but it’s just a little bit of a pity to see. Other than these small things, everything was wonderful!

Emerald Faarufushi is hospitality at its best. From facilities to staff, everything is built around giving guests the best time ever.

Given price point, maybe some of the excursions could be included. Most of the additional activities are to be paid on the spot.

Location excellent - away from other resorts so genuine island feel. Amazing house reef - Rays, Turtles & Sharks. Great staff all the way through but special note to Nish - top bartender, Kumar our villa host and Sameera Fernando - amazing chef.

This hotel truly delivers 5-star white glove service from arrival in Male to departure from Male. The variety and quality of food was consistently excellent as were the snorkelling excursions. There are several areas with good coral and/or abundance of fish that one can snorkel to from the hotel itself that are shallow and can have relatively little current. We saw a number of eels, an octopus, a 5-6 ft long shark, and many beautiful large parrotfish, for example, in these areas. Hotel and its staff are incredibly flexible and guest focused - a real rarity today. We would suggest that the hotel add a guided night snorkel near the pier where there are already lights in the evening that attract a lot of fish and feeding action! A bat feeding station would be cool as well. Large flying foxes seem to commute to the island daily.

It was naturally beautiful and the facilities are seamlessly integrated. The tree lines were even gorgeous. The swimming is so refreshing and the water is practically invisible. It’s like a fantasy. There’s no mosquitos. The guests were all relaxed and quiet. There is so much personal spaces in the villas that the other beaches were basically empty. The restaurants always had space available. Every day we talked about how amazing it was. I snorkelled with so many fish and even Manta Rays! The gorgeous Maldives came to life out of the photos. The food was delicious included some of the best meals of our lives. The staff was the best, spectacular service and friendly and chatty. It was twelve days of smiles and laughter

We weren’t there long enough. Haha we had beautiful blue skies our entire visit the only blemish was the hazy horizon yet we still had many beautiful sunsets.

Emerald Faarufushi Resort makes you feel like you have just been given a big hug!!! From the General Manager Patrick, Resort Manager Raj's leadership came the exceptional staff who made this holiday a memory to treasure. Everyone from my host Faya, Sommeliers Sean and Supreeti, restaurant managers, chefs, waiting staff (Haanee, who taught me about Maldivian food and life) to those I apologise cannot remember all the names, who showed me true Indian cuisine, Maldivian cuisine and truly made me feel I was the only one on the island. You are all exceptional!! Thank you. This resort is highly recommended due to excellent accommodation (I had an overwater villa with sunset view) Maldivian sunsets are superb, housekeeping discreet and with a smile, five restaurants which I could not separate on quality of food, service and variety and in villa dining which was of an amazing quality for room service. Faarufushi allows you to enjoy yourself with an excellent spa with highly qualified staff, waters sports (jetski tour of islands )was fantastic, tennis, snorkelling and if you want to party a pool bar and entertainment. My visit to the local island on a Maldivian boat was also a highlight, seeing the local environment. I will definitely be returning and for anyone looking at the Maldives this resort is a must!

We had our honeymoon here. Our stay was absolutely amazing. It’s paradise. Our host, Faya, was attentive to all our needs and made everything happen. Food was divine (alcohol too). Amazing snorkeling location on premises. Big thank you also to the hotel manager and tennis coach for the padel game 👌🏻

I really liked the location of this property. All the restaurants were excellent, and the food was consistently great. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the activities were genuinely interesting — this island truly feels like paradise. I would like to give special thanks to: Vlad, our diving instructor — he showed us so many amazing things underwater. The dives were truly exciting thanks to his guidance and teaching style. I highly recommend visiting the diving center on the island. Faya, our villa host — he is a true professional, knows everything about the island, and was always ready to help with any question at any time. It was a real pleasure communicating with him.

I honestly couldn’t find any downsides to this place.

The resort is one of the top resorts and the best value for money. exceptional atmosphere spa is a little expensive, but really good staff are amazing special thanks to Faya.

Além de estarmos tendo dias muito bons, todos os funcionários sempre amáveis, prestativos e gentis. Um agradecimento mais que especial ao Faya, que nos recepcionou, mostrou toda ilha, sempre muito paciente e bem humorado, além de ajustar horários e saídas a nossa necessidade e vontade. Es un resort de tamaño perfecto, ni grande ni pequeño. Durante nuestra estancia el hotel estaba completo pero en ningún momento las playas o la piscina estaban llenas. La comida era buena y abundante, el personal muy amable y solícito y el lugar espectacular. Totalmente recomendable.

Just an incredible resort beautiful location where you felt like the whole island was just you. Wonderful reef, great variety of restaurants and quality foods.

The only downside to the property was that we can’t stay forever

The island is perfect, with great beaches, shallow seas and exceptional services. The villas were excellent. We stayed in the Superior Water villa, the Presidential villa, then stayed an extra night and had the Family Beach villa. The food was great, and the wine and spirits were exceptional for an all-inclusive resort. I am talking about 10-year-old Napa reds and Macallan 15 whiskey. Faya and the tea were great and very accommodating. We had the best 10 nights there!

Everything was perfect, but if I am being super picky, I didn't like how the restaurants were pre-booked. Sometimes our tastes change that day, and we would like to eat somewhere else. I understand why they have to do it, because the restaurants are small, but that was the only small issue.

On our return trip to the Maldives, we chose Emerald Faarufushi – and it truly is a paradise on earth. The choice of resorts in the Maldives is endless, but we’re certain we found the perfect one. From the very first moment of our arrival, we felt at home — a place where we were cared for with genuine warmth and attention. The entire team is incredibly kind and professional. The island itself is a dream — natural beauty combined with modern elegance and subtle design. Yes, Emerald truly lives up to its name. The food? The variety within the all-inclusive concept is more than generous, and everything tasted exceptional. You can truly be proud when pasta in the Maldives tastes better than in parts of Italy! Bravo especially to the Italian Executive Chef and his entire kitchen team. The F&B experience is perfectly rounded off by a team of trained sommeliers — a heartfelt thank-you to Supreeti, who made every single evening special. You’re doing an amazing job! Not to forget the fantastic selection of creative cocktails — thank you Ramesh and Shairan, you guys are simply the coolest. Also, a big thank-you to Ori and Ammy — you made us feel like part of a family. The Diving Center, led by Thas, is highly professional and offers great experiences even on rainy days. Thank you, Thas, for being such a cool buddy — you’ll stay in our hearts, and thanks to you, the diving world has gained a new PADI lover! Our Villa Host, Faya, is an absolute legend — a funny guy who we already miss! Thank you for always being available and for your outstanding service. Although our week was a little rainy, we made the best of it in the spa, where we were spoiled and pampered to perfection. The spa team deserves great praise — truly world-class.

The hotel is amazing. Faya was a wonderful butler. The Mediterranean restaurant was particularly great. We very much enjoyed our time there despite the weather not being perfect!

The excursions could be better as we would have liked more variety in the excursion options.

The most incredible hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Complete luxury from the second you arrive, greeted by your villa host and a glass of fizz. The island is a lovely size to walk or cycle round. Rooms are beautiful and so spacious, the bathroom is huge with beautiful views too. The house coral reef is amazing, we saw sting rays! The staff all go above and beyond. The food at every restaurant was amazing and really enjoyed the sommelier experience at each meal. Expensive but so worth it

The room is big, clean and well decorated. I especially like the washroom and bathroom area. The pool outside the room is big enough. The villa attendant Kettut is very helpful. He is very polite too. The food is great. All the waiters and waitresses are friendly, helpful and willing to chat with us. Yasir is very caring. He could notice my preference from his observation. Also, Sean and Max are very considerate. The chef at Teppanyaki is very cheerful and passionate. There are lots of activities to do. I tried the SPA treatment. Very nice. I also took Snorkelling lesson. Thoha (not sure if it is the correct spelling) was very patient to teach us. Last but not least, our housekeeper Faya is very helpful and professional. He answered our questions immediately. He helped us with our bookings and arranged everything. He is very willing to chat with us. Thank you so much for his help!! We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

As we also booked the sea plane transfer with the resort, the holiday actually starts as soon as you come through the airport and it's the same until the moment you leave. We were escorted and helped at every point in the journey and the whole thing was perfect. On the way back we were slightly affected by weather, but clearly that was no problem for Faya who must be well used to it, he let us stay in a spare room late, and arranged a speed boat to meet our plane. Incredible!

I'm really struggling to think of anything to say here. You do need to stick pretty close to the times arranged for your dinners, but really what's wrong with that?

We stayed at Emerald Resort for a week, and during this time, the friendliness and respect of the entire team made us truly happy. We would especially like to thank Faya, as well as Sairem, Aniket, Aidana, Suppreti, Ershan, and Rabiul, who never stopped smiling throughout our vacation. We had a unique and wonderful holiday — hope to see you again soon!
