Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Traditionelles.Hotel direkt am Bahnhof von Monthey: Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Betten bequem und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch beim Frühstück hat es uns an nichts gefehlt.
Schlafen mit offenem Fenster ging nur bedingt, da die Züge sehr früh wieder fuhren, aber das war von vornherein eigentlich klar.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Gastgeberin. Superschönes, großes Zimmer mit Terrasse. Gutes Frühstück. Wie der Name schon sagt, am Bahnhof gelegen, also wer absolute Ruhe erwartet, sollte sich woanders umschauen. Gute Lage aber trotzdem, da man alles gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Schöner Garten um was zu trinken, Essen gibt's leider keins.

Leider keine Stecker für USB, etc. Mobilephone kann nicht geladen werden. Beschreibung für Fernseher fehlt, wie auch Senderliste. Zimmer haben kein Telephon.

Reviewed May 10, 2026I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was excellent — right next to the train station and within easy walking distance of the concert hall. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The included breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. The room was clean, comfortable, and matched the photos exactly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would happily stay here again.
The only minor downside is that because the hotel is so close to the train station and central transport hub, there can be some noise at night if you sleep with the windows open. Aside from that, everything was excellent.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Ideaal hotel, gelegen aan het station, net van de snelweg aan de voet van de skipistes van Portes du Soleil. Ligt aan het station waar je absoluut géén last van hebt.
Parkeren bij het hotel is mogelijk maar op een openbare parkeerplaats. Onze auto stond daar dus volgeladen met ski spullen. Vond ik niet fijn. Tevens kun je op die parkeerplaatsen alleen betalen met muntgeld en nee, ik had geen Zwitserse Francs, laat staan kleingeld.

Pas de climatisation. Quand je suis arrivée vers 17h00 poir recuperer ma chambre, la fenetre etait restée ouverte toute la journee alors que dehors c etait la canicule. Impossible de dormir tellement il faisait chaud. J ai du me coucher avec des linges trempés à l eau froide !

Wenn ich suche: Wir hatten gerade das Pech, dass am späten Abend und frühen Morgen zeitweise Lärm draussen war (offenes Fenster wegen Hitze). Es waren aber nicht Züge (ist ja nur Regionalzug). Sonst scheint das Quartier eigentlich ruhig zu sein.

Sfr 163.- ist absurd teuer für so ein einfaches Hotel. Das Hotel profitiert hier vom Montreux Jazz Festival. Bar nur bis 21h, einfaches Frühstück, Badezimmerausstattung in Baumarktqualität. Alles ok, aber für diesen Preis erwartet man mehr.

The bar/restaurant seems like smoking area, the smoke smell was quite strong in the staircase for non-smokers. Radiator was not functioning, so it was a very cold night in winter time.
