Véro nous attendait à notre arrivée. Elle nous a bien accueillis et nous a montré l'appartement, puis s'est éclipsée tout en restant disponible en cas de besoin. L'appartement est spacieux, situé dans un beau cadre, calme avec une belle vue sur la ville et sur la chaîne de montagnes. Merci d'avoir permis que nos amis puissent rester dormir à l'appartement, une nuit, sans supplément. Cela nous a énormément touchés. Nous y retournerons très certainement dès que nous ferons un tour dans la région. Merci Véro; on s'est senti vraiment à l'aise. Merci pour ce bel accueil!

We had a very pleasant stay in Monthey. The location is beautiful, the apartment was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our holiday. However, there are a few points that could be improved. The garden mentioned on Booking.com was a little disappointing. It is more like a small green outdoor area where you can sit, rather than a real garden. We enjoyed sitting outside, but the description could be clearer so guests know what to expect. Another point is that after 22:00 we were asked not to talk outside because of the neighbours. We completely understand the importance of respecting the neighbours, but this does limit the use of the outdoor area in the evening. During summer, it would also be helpful to have insect screens on the windows. Without them, quite a lot of insects came inside when we opened the windows. Finally, the double bed makes quite a lot of noise whenever someone moves or gets up during the night. It seems that the wooden frame may need some attention, as the noise can wake the other person. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location is really beautiful. With a few small improvements, the apartment could be even better. La sympathie et l'accessibilité de l'hôte lors de l'accueil. Nous avons ensuite été autonome, sans interférences ni dérangement. Différents conseils nous ont aussi été données pour le petit déjeuner, ainsi que pour le départ.

Хорошие матрасы. Очень чисто и тихо. На кухне есть всё, что вам нужно и даже немного больше. Красивый вид из окон. Мы прекрасно поужинали (недалеко отличный тайский ресторан) и отлично выспались.

Lieu splendide. Grand appartement propre avec des petites attentions plaisantes à disposition (bonbons, café, thé etc.). Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et du jardin. Plein de documentations sur les activités à faire dans la région. Tout était parfait!

Heel leuk appartement, van alles voorzien. De kindjes vonden de konijntjes geweldig! Prachtig uitzicht, waar je in de tuin en ook in de living van kan genieten. Op wandelafstand veel restaurants en uithaal. Warm ontvangst ook.

Super, notre hôte était sur place à notre arrivée, tout était propre, prêt à nous accueillir, la cheminée. La vue superbe, emplacement pratique proche de plein d'activités. Tout le nécessaire à disposition, vaisselle, jeux de société, serviettes, draps, savons.... On recommande vivement !

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les hôtes de cet hébergement. L'appartement était très propre à notre arrivée. Les pièces de vie sont très agréables et spacieuses. Les équipements sont bien fonctionnels. Les chambres sont confortables.

Tout était parfait.

Kaffe war scho parat, verpflegt hatten wir uns aber unterwegs und an der UCI MTB DHI WM Es war wirklich sehr schön bei Véronique et Léonard. Und, wir wären gerne länger geblieben um auch den hübschen Garten geniessen zu können. Vielleicht bei einer anderen Gelegenheit gerne wieder.

Het weggetje naar de accommodatie is smal en steil! Gelukkig lag er geen sneeuw toen we er waren.

Luxusní apartmán s krásným výhledem na město a hory. Apartmán je v klidné lokalitě, takže jsme tu měli zcela nerušený pobyt a navíc jsme se mohli pohybovat i na pozemku kolem apartmánu, takže místa tu bylo opravdu dost. Vybavení apartmánu je nadstandardní.

We had a wonderful time at this place — the location is excellent, just minutes from the city, shops, and great tourist spots in the region. The apartment itself is huge — even bigger than it looks in the photos! The living room is beautiful and spacious, with a big wooden dining table and a super comfy oversized sofa that we all loved relaxing on. Both bedrooms offer spectacular mountain views and have sliding doors leading directly to the garden — such a peaceful touch. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The private parking space was also a big plus. Our daughters absolutely loved the rabbits outside — they couldn’t stop feeding them, and the bunnies were all so adorable! The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s been one of our favorite stays on this trip!

Super host, very clean and spacy apartments.

The apartment is clean, spacious, modern, quiet, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. We like the fireplace and the 5 little bunnies outside. It’s good to have a terrace with a garden and mountain views. The washing machine and tumble dryer were superb after a week’s trip. The host is nice, helpful and responsive. It’s only a 30-minute drive to the apartment after visiting Vevey or Montreux. Then we only need to drive around 1.5 hours to Tasch before taking the train to Zermatt.

Parking is a bit tricky as the entrance path is narrow and steep. There are some steps when going down to the house from the parking space. Be careful if carrying large suitcases, especially on rainy days.

It was lovely, warm and comfortable and really spacious and clean. The welcome was so friendly and the owners were very helpful. It had great kitchen facilities with coffee machines and also complimentary pods and tea bags which were great for a short stay. The view was lovely. Shower was great and we had a long sit down after dinner and watched a movie. Fire was lovely after a long trip. Great stop over just before heading up to ski resort.

Good location, clean, lots of amenities like fondue pot, raclette machine, thermals. Great to have use of the washing machine. The owners were very accomodating and nice. Would stay again!

Very quiet peaceful area, GREAT view, super clean, check in & out was efficient, whole place felt super cozy & comfortable. Also, who doens't love bunnies? - TV is a smart TV - Pullout bed in smaller room does pull away from the main bed. Other side of the room has a big closet space, & has some board games inside. - HIKING. On the fireplace ledge they have maps with a lot of trails that are in the area, the great thing is it also tells you what months they are doable. The Galerie Defago trail... Do this trail. Amazing mountain & valley views, passing through sections of forests that look out of a fairy tale, through the farms & hill sides at the bottom of the mountains... & a cliff side walk (don't worry there's railing!). It was great. The sense of scale and vastness of the mountains can really be felt here. The trail map says doable from April to Oct., it takes about a half hour to get to from the nearby Monthey ville station. - Plenty of grocery stores ~15 min walk away. Train station ~10 min., bus stop at the bottom of the hill near the wood bridge. =Tips for those coming from places where things don't work the same= Stove vents here have a part that pulls out towards you. The confusing thing... is that the power button won't work to turn it on until you pull it out. We honestly just thought the thing was broken & didn't work at first when we tried the buttons and they did nothing. Windows - I'm not a morning person, so I worried about the amount of light that would come in in the mornings. The windows have slide down external remote control shutters, which keeps the rooms nice and dark. Water - The tap water here is better than our bottled water at home. I miss it... Laundry - For those in the US used to hang drying things with hangers or with clips on a clothing line, there is a foldout metal table rack thing that you can put out in the bigger room & hang your stuff on.

That we didn't have the time off work to stay even longer.. That booking.com won't let me write more in each box. The other reviews cover things well, so I tried to include other more practical details in my review, bits of info people may want to know, and about why this is a good area to stay at in general. That and reading me say "--- thing about property is perfect", "---- thing about property is perfect", etc. would get old. Title says it all, the hosts have done an amazing job making this a wonderful and perfect place to stay. It played a big part in making our trip be something great that we will always remember. Also want to thank the hosts for being so accommodating with check in and out times to fit our schedule, airline adjusted flight, and us leaving early to catch the Glacier Express (if anyone is interested you can catch a train from here to Brig, ride GE to Chur, explore the town and museums for ~4hrs and be back in Zurich by evening to fly out the next day if you came in and will leave there). :)

Difficult to get to with a car. It is located on a very narrow street and only accessible from one end of the street (the other end is too narrow to turn onto either side a car). Once we figured out how to get there it was fine though.

The place was fantastic with a great view. The hosts were wonderful and helped us when we suffered a breakdown on one of our scooters. We will stay again on the way back.

The apartment has everything you need, is in a quiet area, fully equipped and has an amazing mountain view to enjoy with morning coffee. The hosts are super nice, so really recommend this place if you are looking for a family place to visit French part of Switzerland.
