We absolutely loved Salerno and the location of this property was a 10/10. The view was so beautiful to wake up to each morning. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. Coffee pod machine but no kettle for making a cup of tea . The croissants we had for breakfast were the best we have ever had - breakfast is served at a cafe down the street however we got takeout on a few occasions and ate on our balcony which was divine . This place is excellent value for money .

It was noisy from traffic all throughout the night as the apartment (whilst in a fantastic location) in on a main thoroughfare - so if you struggle to sleep - definitely bring earplugs. Also would benefit from a small kettle to have a cup of tea.

Jó helyen lévő szoba szép kilátással, 3. emeleten. Közelben, sétatávolságra volt minden, bolt, étterem, busz, kikötő. Innivaló és kis édesség várt ránk. Reggeli kupont kaptunk egy pár perc sétára lévő kávézóba, ahol nagyon finom a croissant.

Ketten 3 napra összesen 2 picike tasak tusfürdőt kaptunk és a kávéfőzőhöz csak pár kapszulát. A szomszédok roppant zajosak voltak.

The apartment was an ideal location very close to the ferry terminal and had stunning views over the Amalfi coast. Also, breakfast included at a local cafe which was a lovely added bonus

Breakfast was limited to one croissant, small orange juice and a coffee in a local bar.There is only one key to the apartment with a 350 euro replacement if lost. This meant we had to go out together all the time or you got locked out.

Location, size and lovely fresh decor with balcony view across the bay! Very close to port to catch ferries our meet up with tours..

L’emplacement est idéal. La chambre est grande et spacieuse. La vue est très belle.Des petites attentions sont laissées dans la chambre (sodas, bouteilles d’eau, gâteaux, café…).

La vue sur mer à un prix : les nuisances sonores de la rue. L’appartement n’est pas isolé (simple vitrage) et il y a une rue très passante entre la mer et l’appartement. Il est très difficile de faire une bonne nuit si vous êtes sensible aux bruits.

Le propriétaire est très virulent, il est malpoli et exige tellement de choses. L'appartement est PAS DU TOUT insonorisé, pas de double vitrage. J'ai beaucoup voyagé en Italie, et c'est clairement un endroit où je ne remettrai pas les pieds. Le propriétaire vous voit arriver, super fatigués, il nous prend 1h à nous expliquer comment fermer une porte, comment ne pas faire de bruit, et je cherchais ma carte ID et il a été tellement impatient en parlant (jurant) carrément en italien, faut se calmer hein et je comprenais en plus... Bref la vue est belle, l'appartement est pas dingue, mais bien localisé. Je préfère payer plus cher ailleurs next time

Locatia, camera inalta cocheta, racoroasa, cu vedere la mare…Gazda ne a oferit apa, suc si cateva snack uri la sosire.

Zgomotul masinilor de pe bulevard. Micul dejun este doar un croissant cu o cafea. Ambele foarte bune dar e mult spus mic dejun. Dar e un serviciu corect la pretul platit.

Easy to get to from bus stop and station . Nice view and easy to get around. Very roomy. Close to beach and old town.

Some noise from the road

We had a great stay. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location and the waterfront view were perfect. The included breakfast was a great benefit and was provided at an excellent cafe a short walk away. The port where the ferries dock was a short 10 minute walk away, and so was the train station. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We had a great stay, and the host was very responsive to requests.

The street noise of passing cars can be heard at night, but that was expected based on other reviews and the fact that it is located on a busy road along the waterfront. However, we would still stay here again when we return since everything else was great.

Wonderful apartments! Everything was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and had a stunning view it was a pleasure to wake up to such lovely scenery. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. The host was extremely kind and helpful; they recommended a couple of great cafés nearby where we could enjoy delicious food. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly come back again!

The room was large and the view was beautiful.

The bed was much too HARD, the noise from the street was too loud and the AC was located over the bed and blowing down on our faces all night. We couldn't sleep at all.

The breakfast that came with this room was delicious. It was not at the hotel, but at a café, very close by. We got coffee, croissants, orange juice, and water. The room was clean.

The pictures were deceiving, making me think that there was going to be a balcony. There were balconies on the outside of the building, but our room did not have one.this was very disappointing

Rendkívül tágas, jól felszerelt és tiszta volt a szállás. Az erkélyről a kilátás meseszép volt. A reggeli finom volt. Alfonso csodálatos házigazda, mindenben a segítségünkre volt. Nagyon szerettünk itt lenni, vissza is szeretnénk majd jönni.

Wunderschön, nicht weit weg vom Bahnhof und von den Fähren ⛴️. Auf den Wegen ( Promenade ) zur Fähre und Bahnhof sollte man schon acht geben, da wie überall wo viele Touristen sind auch die Gefahr hier von „pickpocket „ stark gegeben ist.

Street noise is an issue. Acknowledge that the apartment is located on a main thoroughfare, however, the windows and shutters were not very effective in reducing the noise.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying here our last week in Salerno. The location and view are impeccable. We were greeted by Alfonso who had the room available for a much appreciated early check in. Alfonso explained everything and gave us the keys. The room is spacious, clean, and provides a great view of the sea. The ferries to Amalfi, Positano, etc. are within a 10 min walk. Breakfast (pastry selection, two beverages) is served at an upscale breakfast bar a few blocks away. The room is on the 3rd floor (assessible by elevator) and has motorized window shutters to reduce street noise. The ceilings are high, but there was some residential noise above that we found entertaining. We loved the view & location- directly across from the promenade and sea. Also, gelato is a few steps away! The owner Mario, his wife, and Alfonso were very cordial and welcoming. A taxi was ordered for us and we received personal farewells

Clean and bright room, fantastic view of the sea from the two small balconies (despite facade renovation works, which we were informed of after we booked but well before we stayed), very comprehensive check in instructions, nice supply of snacks and drinks included in the room, great selection of restaurants within walking distance (and similarly reasonable walking distance to the old town, train station, pedestrian shopping street, and more). Breakfast was a block or so away at a local cafe and of reasonably good quality (we were offered two drinks and a pastry for each person)

No luggage storage on site offered prior to check in (despite the host running late for check in) or after check out which is not only inconvenient and costly (the luggage storage place recommended to us was a couple of blocks away and costed 5 EUR per bag) but also felt very rigid and impersonal. For light sleepers, note that the apartment does face onto a very busy foreshore road, so there is a moderate amount of traffic noise at night. We unfortunately also encountered an army of mosquitoes during the night that we had trouble defending against!

Perfekte Lage und unvergleichbarer Ausblick. Snacks und Getränke (im Zimmer) und Frühstück in einem Café (ganztägig) inkludiert.

Leicht abgewohnt, stört aber nicht. Sehr hellhörig von Straße und Nebenzimmer, also Ohropax nicht vergessen, aber dann ist es kein Problem.

Esta súper bien ubicado, con una vista al mar increíble. Esta cerca de la estación y a 15 minutos del puerto caminando. Alfonso es súper amable y está en los detalles para que la experiencia sea la mejor. La habitación es muy linda y cómoda.

The cafe for breakfast was a lovely spot to start the day, with a small but adequate breakfast of juice, beautiful pastry and a coffee. It was a short walk from the B and B. The room was bright and pretty and the view from the B and B was beautiful at all times of day with the added bonus of a verandah to sit on, although it was sunny in the afternoon and the shutters needed to be closed. The coffee machine and small snacks were a welcoming touch. It was easily accessible to the ferries, the bus stop and the town.

Like all the beds we had in Italy, the mattress was firm but ok. I would have liked the use of an iron and a drying rack. We chose not to have the room serviced each day, but it meant we had to buy toilet paper, as there was no spare roll that we could find.

Lovely location & outlook, very convenient to train and ferry.

Beautiful room and views. Lovely compliments of good coffee, water and soda. Location was excellent and within quick walking to the ferries or private charters. Prime opportunity to exercise, walk or jog along the water.

The street outside along the park was very busy and could get noisy late at night. That was the trade off for the best views and location.

Boendet ligger perfekt med härlig utsikt över havet och alla båtar. Nära till hamnen med utflyktsbåtar, stora shoppinggatan, tågstationen och gamla stan. Stort fint rum med ordentligt duschutrymme.

Italiensk frukost på ett cafe' 100 meter bort. Bara bakverk, juice och kaffe. Vissa kan bli störda av ljud utifrån nattetid.

Super B&B, very kind and flexible host, and such a nice welcome. Unfortunately there was a scaffold in front of the building which distorted the view. But the host had written this to me beforehand while there was still time to cancel had I wanted to. Very nice cafe for the breakfast also, and water, coke, coffee/tea and snack in the room. Spacious room with great bed and safe building.

The room and bathroom were pretty. Location was fairly close to ferry and train station.

I didn't realize it was in an apartment building three floors up and we had to have a key for three different doors. We also had a lot of paper work to fill out on arrival that we never had to do with our other hotels. Also only two bedrooms.

Great location, close to the train station and ferry. Tall ceilings and located in a nice building. Felt very safe and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Construction was occurring so the main window overlooking the water was partially obstructed. Personal preference but the mattress is hard.

This accommodation was excellent. It is a hotel style accommodation and provided us with drinks in the fridge a few snacks and sweets and tea and coffee. It was a very secure building and everything you needed was in the room. Breakfast was at a cafe nearby which was also very good and friendly. We were only there one night, which was a shame and if we ever returned to Salerno we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The only disappointing thing for us was we lost the view due to maintenance being done on the building. However, I will point out the owner made this clear to us as early as possible and we would have had the option to cancel if we wanted to. We understand it was out of his control but it was a shame.

Fantastic location and easy reach to jump on the ferry so to go to Amalfi, Positano and other beautiful locations

Good location on the seafront with easy walking from the station and also into the old town. The information given by the owner's brother-in-law on arrival was very useful. This included train and ferry timetables.

The door to the apartment is definitely secure, resembling a walk in strong room door. The key operation is definitely awkward, so make sure you lock and unlock the door yourself in the presence of whoever meets you on your arrival.

Located close to the train station & ferry terminal. Fabulous view from the balcony over the sea & mountains. Room cleaned everyday. Good communication with Mario. Apartment felt secure.

Only negative was the noise from the busy road below which disrupted my sleep. Take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Fabulous location. Lovely clean, spacious room. The owners brother-in-law met us on arrival and shared much useful information. Recommended secure parking close by to leave our motorcycle

Only minor complaint would be the breakfast which is a voucher for a cafe . Coffee and croissant. But I had seen it mentioned in previous reviews. Didn’t bother with it the second morning.

Bright airy room and tall ceilings with outstanding view. Only 10 minute walk from train station and ferry terminal. Complimentary continental breakfast at coffee shop 3 minute walk away. Water, juice and a small selection of snacks upon arrival. Steps to a very long and well used seaside promenade.

The property was in a great area in Salerno, close to all amenities, bars, train station, ferries, restaurants etc. modern bathroom and large shower for Italian rooms. Owner very responsive to messages. View from window nice.

Think the rating is way too high on booking.com, kettle didn’t work, the bedcover looked dirty, the headboard was all scratched and had the faux leather coming off, which didn’t look good. Thought we were getting a room with a balcony, not just a window but to be fair looked like the photos have all been updated on booking.com since I booked this a while ago and never checked again. TV needs to be modernised and upgraded, wifi was slow so disconnected and used 4g. The worst bed I’d slept in for a long time. It was a foam mattress that kept pushing me to one side. Was ok for 1 night.
