Amazing hospitality. Giovanni made sure that we had everything we needed and they were very easy to reach if anything came up. When we arrived, they gave us tons of suggestions for food and activities in the area, along with messages that included links to find these easily online! The details that went into the room were amazing too. We were on our honeymoon and they dressed our room up with some cute decorations for that little added touch, which we appreciated! They had everything you might need and the decor added so much charm to our seaside stay. And the air conditioning was a life saver! We loved the location as Salerno is less busy than the towns along the Amalfi coast, but close enough that you could hop on a ferry and spend a day exploring the more touristy spots. The hotel is in walking distance from the marinas as well as many delicious restaurants and laundromats (this was the mid point of our trip and so this came in handy! However, the room included laundry soap if you prefer to hand wash your clothes! They really thought of everything!) We opted for the included breakfast which gave you a voucher for the coffee shop around the corner. It was nice to have breakfast figured out every day! It was truly a wonderful stay!

Honestly, there was nothing that we didn't like. The only reason I didn't put full happy faces for the walking around the area is because there are some steep hills to reach some restaurants that could be difficult for people with mobility issues, but that is unavoidable in any of the towns along the coast. However, the hotel is closer to the water at the bottom, and there are tons of options without having to go uphill.

The property is ideally located in the historic center of Salerno yet close to ferry and railways station. The place is beautifully decorated and the room is comfortable and quiet.

Nuestra experiencia en este B&B fue excelente desde el principio. La comunicación con los anfitriones fue rápida, cercana y fluida, incluso antes de nuestra llegada, cuando nos ayudaron con las indicaciones para llegar. Al llegar, Giovanni y Cristina nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad y nos ofrecieron té frío, algo que agradecimos mucho por las altas temperaturas. Se interesaron por nuestro viaje y nos aconsejaron sobre restaurantes, lugares que visitar y transportes. También nos facilitaron dejar las maletas tanto a la llegada como a la salida. El alojamiento es muy acogedor, amplio, colorido y está decorado con mucho gusto. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y había pequeños detalles que hacían que te sintieras como en casa. El edificio tiene ascensor, algo muy práctico al viajar con equipaje. La habitación dispone de aire acondicionado, y la cama es muy cómoda. La habitación y el baño estaban muy cuidados y contaban con todo lo necesario: cafetera, hervidor, nevera, secador y plancha de pelo. Además, había productos de aseo a nuestra disposición. La ubicación es inmejorable: pudimos conocer Salerno andando, con el centro, el lungomare, los principales lugares de interés y los transportes a pocos minutos. Al salir encontramos restaurantes, heladerías y pequeñas tiendecitas. El desayuno estaba incluido y se servía en una cafetería cercana, donde cada día elegíamos un café y un dulce diferente. Todo estaba delicioso. También aprovechamos para coger el ferry y visitar Amalfi y Vietri sul Mare. Además de disfrutar muchísimo de ambos destinos, el trayecto en ferry fue muy agradable y bonito. Nos quedó pendiente Ravello, que nos lo recomendaron los anfitriones. Lo que más valoramos fue la atención de Giovanni y Cristina durante toda la estancia. Nos hicieron sentir muy a gusto y cuidaron cada aspecto para que nuestra experiencia fuera estupenda. Sin duda, recomendamos este alojamiento y volveríamos encantadas.

The location was excellent, very central in the old town, close to the cathedral and a straight walk from and to the train station and ferry port. The hosts were absolutely lovely, kept in contact before I arrived and gave me so much information about the town and places to visit. My room was spotlessly clean, and was cleaned again during my 2 night stay. Giovanni's artwork is beautiful. If I was to return to Salerno I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. It was a shame that the cafe for breakfast was unavoidably closed while I was there, but Giovanni refunded me the breakfast cost.

Stanza bellissima con letto rotondo, a disposizione tutto.....the caffè prodotti bagno. Staff gentilissimo ci ha spiegato tante cose. Posizione eccezionale.

Die Lage des B&B ist perfekt inmitten der Altstadt an einem schönen Platz mit einem Gemüseladen, einem Metzger und einer Bäckerei. Zudem gibt mehrere Bars. Das sehr gepflegte große Haus enthält viele verschiedene Wohnungen und u.a. auch eine Anwaltskanzlei. Alle Etagen sind mit dem Aufzug erreichbar. In allen großen Räumen des B&B ist es sehr ruhig, auch am Abend, denn man hört von dem Leben am Platz fast nichts! Der Vermieter ist Künstler und das sieht man an der Dekoration des Empfangsbereichs sowie in den Zimmern, die sehr liebevoll und kunstvoll eingerichtet sind. Es werden am Morgen die Betten gemacht und ggfs. die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Alle Informationen über Salerno und die Amalfiküste kamen am Tag vorher per WhatsApp und dann am Anreisetag persönlich. Der Vermieter und seine Mitarbeitende ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück im 2 Minuten entfernten Café Rosa war ein besonderes Event, auf das wir uns immer sehr gefreut haben. Eine Institution für Einmische, nicht nur zum Frühstück. Wir sind so froh, hier gelebt zu haben und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen, falls es noch buchbar ist. 10 Punkte sagen alles! Vielen Dank für die sehr schöne Zeit!

Everything was very thoughtful from the first moment. Giovanni was very nice, always smiling and also a very talented artist! He has his beautiful art all around the flat, which I really loved. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. The places he recommended were perfect, especially the ice cream place, it was amazing and my partner still keeps talking about it :) Giovanni was also very responsive whenever we had a question. Also, we loved Salerno so much! We stayed there on our way back from Amalfi, just to spend a day before going back to Rome, and I really regret staying only one night. It’s such a beautiful place with lots of great restaurants. It felt very local and authentic, and it was also very walkable. We definitely want to come back to Salerno and stay at the same place again :) Thank you so much Giovanni!

We had a wonderful stay in our beautiful room, very close to the sea and to the city center. We were also pleasantly surprised by the host Giovanni, who helped us with great suggestions for places to visit and eat, and was always ready to help at every time of the day. It was a great overall :)

Giovanni was an exceptionally hospitable host. He quickly responded to any questions. He generously offered to assist multiple times with one of our kids who did not feel well. You will not have a better host than Giovanni.

Rooms on 5th floor but that’s the ONLY thing. It was a great place.

See oli kõige ilusam, mõnusam, erilisem, mugavam, puhtam ja täiuslikum peatumispaik eales! Kõik eluks vajalik oli toas olemas, väga puhas, korras, ilus, kunstiline, mugav ja hubane. Ruumi oli palju, nagu väike korter. Kogu majutusasutus ise oli ka väga ilus, mõnus ja kunstiline. Peremees Giovanni ja perenaine Cristina olid ka kõige lahkemad, sõbralikumad, tähelepanelikumad ja ägedamad inimesed eales! Ka maja väljast- ja seestpoolt oli enamus majutusasutustega võrreldes palju normaalsem. Asukoht oli ka huvitav. Kokkuvõttes olen ma 100% rahul oma kogemusega seal ja tuleksin iga kell just sinna tagasi ega kaalukski teisi variante. Broneerisingi kohe veel ka 3nda öö seal juurde.

Kui üldse millegi üle nuriseda, siis minu lemmikkanal "Canale 5 HD" hakkis ja ma ei saanud korralikult Türgi seriaale vaadata, mis on mu lemmikud ja teiseks võib-olla liiga hästi kostusid naabertoa helid minu tuppa.

The welcome on arrival was great and had a real personal touch. The hosts were incredibly helpful in making sure we were settled in and had all the information we needed for our stay. The bed was huge and the room spotlessly clean and after travelling for a week around italy we really appreciated the wardobe space to spread out a little more and have bags out of sight as well as the little washing line on the balcony. The location is great for exploring Salerno and neighbouring areas by Ferry and would highly recommend, we had a great stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Giovanni geht wirklich die Extrameile. Als er beim Putzen unsere Snacks sah, hat er uns direkt mit zusätzlichem Teller und Messer ausgestattet. Im Bad hat es sogar Kleiderwaschmittel und ein Glätteisen. Die Unterkunft ist schön zentral gelegen – in Gehdistanz zu allem, was das Herz begehrt.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by beautiful artwork that gave the space so much character and made it feel warm and inviting. Our host welcomed us with such kindness and hospitality, making us feel right at home from the very beginning. They also took the time to share amazing recommendations for where to eat and what to see. The place was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful rooms with clean amenities. Free breakfast was at a local restaurant and was amazing. The hosting couple was so nice and accommodating. They offered gifts like Lemonchello, coffee, slippers, and more! Beautiful art in the common room and they offered a lot of information about the area and things to do.

Our arrival to Salerno was delayed because of a rail strike. The owner, Giovanni, kept in contact with us as we tried to make travel arrangements by bus. Despite arriving very late at 1130pm, he and his wife picked us up at the bus station to take us to the B&B. He was so helpful, and provided us with local information and food recommendations. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate, and the blue tiled bathroom was stunning! Water and juice are provided daily in the room's refrigerator which we really appreciated. The juices were delicious. Coffee as well in the room. Breakfast is at the local coffee and pastry shop, just steps away from the B&B, and besides a free coffee, you have a choice of either a sweet or savory item every day. We enjoyed starting our day here, people watching, and feeling part of the community. Giovanni's artwork is gorgeous and decorates the rooms and the entrance way. The location of the B&B is good, an easy walk to the train station, the ferries to the Amalfi Coast, as well as shopping and eating. Our room was quiet and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There were good heavy curtains as well to keep out the morning light.

The only suggestion for improvement that I would make, and this is very minor, is providing thicker pillows.

Arrived fairly late from Ischia by ferry to be greeted by the delightful hosts of this wonderful B&B - they were so welcoming and our room was lovely - very large with a walk in wardrobe with lots of storage and a great sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the location quiet. The rooms are on the 5th floor but there is a lift. Again, Giovanni and his partner were incredibly helpful making a phone call for us and organising our transfer the next morning. Breakfast was at a great cafe/bar just 50 meters away.

Ma, rispetto all'altissimo livello della stanza e dell'accoglienza di questo soggiorno, sicuramente il fatto di avere solo una bevanda e un cornetto inclusi nella colazione sfigura un po'. Questo mi sembra l'unico aspetto da migliorare in un soggiorno per il resto impeccabile

We had a beautiful room with a comfortable king-size bed. The room was decorated nicely. The room was refreshed every day. Giovanni, the host, was so friendly and welcoming. We stayed 5 nights and everything was wonderful!

The hosts have thought of everything for your comfort in the room, from the two luggage stands, tea and coffee, comfortable large bed, etc. etc., you can tell a lot of thought has gone into setting up the room, complete with one of the owners artwork. We were warmly greeted and assisted with transport to the airport arrangements, given good recommendations for restaurants , best meal we had on our trip! The location puts you right in the center of Salerno a town we found unexpectedly charming with small stores, many many restaurants, etc. I next time we will stay longer!

Giovanni was in contact the day before to check arrival time. Super friendly welcome from him and Cristina. Lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Room was spacious and very clean with a coffee machine plus cups, cutlery and wine glasses. Quiet location. There were even pegs to hang out washing on the balcony. Breakfast was a bun or croissant and coffee at a nearby cafe. Decorated with Giovanni's own artwork.

Séjour et chambre conformes à nos attentes. L'établissement est situé au cœur du centre historique, quelque peu animé la nuit, mais comme tous les centres historiques italiens :). A une dizaine de minutes à pied de la gare centrale et du départ des navettes bateaux. Giovanni et Christina sont des hôtes charmants et attentionnés. Ils nous ont accompagnés avant, pendant et après notre séjour en nous donnant des très nombreux et très bons conseils pour notre séjour (visites, documentations, restaurants...). Propreté de la chambre et des draps/linge de maison impeccables. Excellent accueil et excellent séjour ! Possibilité de laisser les bagages après le check out ou avant le check in. Nous séjournions deux nuits et la chambre a été refaite après la première nuit. Cinquième étage avec ascenseur.

Les hôtes sont très accueillants, à l'écoute. Ils ont été très arrangeants pour l'heure d'arrivée et de départ (nous en avions parlé à l'avance). Giovanni et Christina ont plein de bons conseils, se montrent disponibles pour toute question. Le logement est très propre, nettoyé tous les jours. Il y a de petites attentions appréciables (bouteilles d'eau, café...). Par ailleurs, le logement est situé dans le quartier historique, proche de la cathédrale. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants à 5-10 min de marche. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié Giagiu, recommandé par nos hôtes. Le front de mer est aussi accessible en moins de 5min. Le trajet depuis la gare se fait bien à pied, même avec une valise à roulettes. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Salerne dans ce logement !

L'extérieur est bruyant le soir (rue animée, bars et restaurants au pied de l'immeuble) mais après avoir bien marché dans la journée, cela n'empêche pas de s'endormir !

Absolutely everything - the most perfect base in Salerno for exploring the stunning Amalfi Coast (which I rate more than Sorrento!) The owners gave us a lovely welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for a perfect, luxurious stay. The huge room was immaculate, stylish, spotlessly clean and the bathroom was stunning! Tokens given to have a yummy breakfast and coffee at the cafe round the corner which was fab. I’d recommend staying here and can’t wait to stay again one day, thank you!

Die Unterkunft/das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel, geräumig und modern mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Empfang durch Christina und Giovanni war sehr nett und herzlich und die zahlreichen Sightseeing- und Restauranttipps waren sehr hilfreich, insbesondere wenn man die (gute) italienische Küche liebt.

Великолепное расположение, все основные места для посещения в пешей доступности. Стильное оформление номеров и общей зоны. Внимание к деталям. Чисто, уборка отличная. В трехместном номере для ребенка - раскладное кресло-кровать. Очень радушный прием от управляющего с рекомендациями по основным достопримечательностям, кафе и ресторанам, экскурсиям и магазинам.

Единственный минус - в номере не работали батареи. Хотя при бронировании, я уточняла этот вопрос, и мне ответили, что в отеле центральное отопление. По факту номер отапливается кондиционером. К сожалению, мы не смогли спать с кондиционером, поэтому пришлось купить обогреватель.

Giovanni and Cristina were wonderful hosts. They gave us great recommendations for the area and assisted us in making reservations. They are so kind and made our stay wonderful. Location is great and everything was very clean and well decorated.

This is in such a good location near the seafront and yet also part of a nexus of alleyways with bars and restaurants. It’s got so much atmosphere! At the same time, street noise couldn’t be heard inside the room when the window was shut (to stay cool, there was good air conditioning!). Our room was just really fun, with the round bed, and the cool drinks in the fridge, and the voucher for breakfast at the coffee bar down the road gives a nice taste of Italian life too. Giovanni and Christina gave us such a warm welcome, even after three hours of waiting for us after our delayed flight, so we didn’t arrive til 11pm. It was great that G had Whatsapped the day before so we had his number and could keep him informed. They offered us tasty iced tea when we arrived close to midnight, and were very helpful with providing maps and sightseeing/restaurant recommendations as well. Superstars! Would highly recommend. Oh, and his artworks are cool.

The room was lovely, spacious and immaculate! The bathroom was down right beautiful. It was obvious the hosts gave a lot of thought to their guests’ needs. Giovanni and Christina were so warm and hospitable. They gave us many recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The B&B is very close to the sea walk and all the activities, shops and restaurants of the old town.

Great location right in the center of Old Town Salerno. Shops, restaurants, churches, and site seeing all within walking distance. Giovanni and Christina were great hosts. They responded to every one of our text message and emails. They made dinner reservations for two nights at different restaurants. My wife liked the round bed.

The elevator to the 5th floor was small and a little tight, but it worked.

The property is centrally located, restaurants and shops all close by. The B&B is decorated beautifully. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The hosts are very sweet and helpful. They helped us with all we needed and also allowed us to check out late, which was very helpful since we had a 10month old baby and the flight was quite late. Overall it was a fantastic stay. Will be back if we are ever in Salerno!
