Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Location, staff, size of room, lovely building, great rooftop and views, really a cozy but big boutique hotel. Lift available, in the center but able to unload easily, staff very available and helpful, and yet respectful.
Nothing, we had great communication and support all the time. It perhaps the main door slams loudly, so good to check it out or soften the mechanism.

l’ esmorçar era una mica just en varietat . El suc taronja molt dolent, semblava aigua, no se que els hi va passar, plats calents no hi havia. Ens vam donar conte que es podia demanar quan haviem acabat, però els cambrers no ho ofereixen ni expliquen.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Beautiful hotel!! Family run, and very nice staff. The rooms were big and so pretty. The whole place had an elegant, whimsical aesthetic. Our room had a balcony which was so nice. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything. The rooftop was great. The breakfast was great. We didn't use the hotel parking, which was a bit expensive, but they gave us a great recommendation for a much more affordable parking option that worked great.
The pool was very small and more like a hot tub. It was not very usable. We didn't use the spa because it was expensive and we were told it was just a sauna and steam room. They offered no spa services.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026L'esmorzar és molt bo i complert, la ubicació de l'hotel és perfecte per no haver d'agafar el cotxe, cèntrica i vistes del poble molt maques, ho tens tot a prop botigues, mercat, restaurants....
Aquest cop l'habitació no ens ha agradat del tot, tot i tenir terrassa, el wc està al costat de l'habitació i la porta és de vidre, cada cop per la nit que algú ha d'anar al wc ha d'anar a les fosques per a no molestar a l'acompanyant.

We loved the tasteful décor and the many cozy seating areas throughout the hotel, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our room had a lovely view of the castle, although the room itself was on the smaller side. Another great advantage is the convenient parking option just a 3-minute walk from the hotel, available for only €3 per day.
The hotel is on the pricier side, and unfortunately, the WiFi was not available during our stay, which was inconvenient.

They didn’t offer water and coffee unless you payed hotel prices for it. I feel that these are basic things that any hotel should offer even more modest hotels do. It was extremely hot and drinking water should be available and free of charge.

Se oyen las campanadas De la Iglesia de 7.00 a.m a 12.00 p.m y a toda la gente por la calle. Es un sitio y zona muy top pero se oye casi todo desde las habitaciones orientadas a la calle. Por lo demas, el trato es excelente
El ruido de las campanadas y de la gente en pleno casco histórico. La ubicación, si no te importa esto, es excelente ya que no necesitas coche y estás en el sitio más top de restaurantes y cockteles.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres, la literie mériterait peut-être un coup de neuf. Sinon le petit déjeuner est incroyable, il y'a de tout pour prendre des forces. Super séjour, nous reviendrons l'an prochain!!

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Beautiful old renovated building in the middle of the town. Clearly family-owned and operated with pride. Tasty breakfast with gorgeous rooftop views. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
Only negative was the smell in the bathroom, which they clearly were aware of and tried to compensate for with essential oils to freshen up the place. My understanding is this often happens in older buildings.

The room itself was remarkably spacious, and the king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We also really appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of slippers—it was a lovely, high-quality detail that made the experience feel extra welcoming. Combined with the great nightly rate, this was an outstanding choice.
Our stay was unfortunately marred by a serious health issue after consuming breakfast juices that were clearly spoiled, which left my partner feeling unwell for the entire afternoon. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom; the showerhead was in poor condition, covered in heavy limescale and rust. We expected much higher standards of hygiene and quality, and this experience fell far short of those expectations.

The hotel has a lot of character with its charming brick ceilings and incredible decorations in the main area. Fantastic breakfast on the terrace overlooking an ancient tower. Simply fantastic!
Our bed was a bit hard and it would be nice with a couple of more duvets.

The hotel parking is a bit scary but we used the free local cat park just down the road. Felt strange not to have reception staff but guess with so few rooms it’s isn’t affordable. No towel rails in the bathroom ,- very odd!! On leaving, the woman on reception just took our money and didn’t even ask if we had enjoyed our stay!!! Not a great final impression!

Les chiens sont acceptés mais pas les bienvenus. 38 € par nuit ! On vous fait signer un papier qui vous engage, on se croirait au poste de police ! C'est pour cette raison que nous n'y retournerons pas !

Reviewed May 15, 2026Beautiful building inside and out. Lovely interior. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast on the roof top terrace. Warm comfortable bedrooms and beautifully decorated ensuite.
Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

La chambre est parfaitement identique aux photos sur le site. Grand confort. Grande aimabilité du personnel. Hotel parfaitement équipé et très bien situé dans Begur.

El colchón (necesita un cambio, se notan los muelles, muy incómodo) El campanario. Despertar a las 7 en fin de semana es una putada gorda). Se entiende que no depende del hotel pero estaría bien que no sonase.

Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y la cama enorme y cómoda; con un gran baño, moderno y actual. El desayuno en la terraza, con vistas al pueblo, resulta muy agradable. El personal del hotel es muy amable.
