Close to the Centro & markets. Staff extremely helpful & pleasant. Garden accessible & care taken to have space in fridge & shelves for all items. Air conditioning was a real plus!

Die Küche war etwas klein und das Besteck / Geschirr in einem andere Zimmer - für reine Selbstkocher weniger geeignet.

Sehr einladendes Haus mit Gemeinschaftsküche und -garten.

Das Bad des 4-Bettzimmers ist sauber aber immer etwas feucht (humid).

Very calm and beautiful. The rooms in the courtyard were calmer and it was great to be able to use the friegue and the iron to strike out Clothes. Great location very central you can walk everywhere to the harbour and the town center!

Great location and a very well-organized property, with a super kind and helpful host. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to spend much time there because we were always out exploring the island, but we almost regretted it because the place was so lovely. The garden is beautiful, and the shared dining room is very welcoming and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Es una amplia casa señorial, situada en una zona céntrica y reconvertida para uso hotelero, pero manteniendo su esencia, con detalles en su gran salón para uso común, como una antiquísima caja caudales. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y las camas són anchas y cómodas. Tiene un mercado municipal justo enfrente y una tienda de quesos y ultramarinos a su lado. Hay una pequeña cocina donde poder guardar comida perecedera (cada habitación tiene un cajoncito numerado en la nevera) y otros alimentos (en otro cajón numerado fuera de la nevera. Hay un patio central abierto, adonde dan algunas habitaciones y que continua en un precioso jardín en el interior de la manzana. Eduardo, que gestiona esta casa de huéspedes, está siempre a disposición de los clientes. Si volvemos a Açores, intentaremos repetir la experiencia.

We had a wonderful stay at Ao Mercado. Great location close to all the amenities of Ponta Delgada but in a quieter area, with a car park right along the street. The family room was a great option for us, and the guest house is genuinely beautiful, a wonderful historic building with lots of historic features. The garden is particularly lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable, there is AC, and a kitchen so self-catering is a breeze. There is a farmers market selling fresh produce just across the street. Eduardo was a charming host and there was great communication throughout, everything was extremely straightforward.

Nothing - we had a terrific time and had no problems or issues at all.

Top Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber, wunderschöner Garten, freundlicher Empfang und Service durch Eduard.

Very clean, access was easy and parking was easy and free as well. Kitchen and shared areas were clean and well stocked/organized

Due to being in the city there was not really a view from the room - but otherwise an excellent location

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean and equipped with everything I could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was very comfortable and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to make guests feel at home. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help with everything. Communication was excellent from the beginning to the end of my stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Ponta Delgada. Near to mercado and supermarket. I would definitely come back again. Sehr schönes Guest House in der Altstadt. Schöne Lage direkt gegenüber der großen Markthalle, kurze Wege zu Restaurants, zum Hafen, zu den Gedchäften. Das Guesthouse hat Optionen für Selbstversorger, schöne Zimmer, überall gemütliche Räume und Ecken zur Gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung und einen schönen Garten mit großer Terrasse. Sehr zum empfehlen!

Отличное местоположение! Красивые интерьеры общего пространства, отлично оборудованная кухня. Уютный дворик, где можно посидеть и послушать пение птиц по утрам .

Ubytování předčilo naše očekávání. Naše obavy ze sdíleného společného prostoru i kuchyně nebo koupelna mimo náš pokoj se absolutně nenaplnily. Všechno bylo skvělé. Na pokoji jsou k dispozici župany, proto není problém s koupelnou na chodbě. Profesionálně uklizeno, vše čisté, voňavé, dokonalé. Využili jsme i zahradu a atrium ke společné snídani i večeři. Parkovací místo zdarma jsme vždy v okolí našli.

everything was very nice, comfortable, clean, and multifunctional location opposite the market with local fruits, 15 minutes you are in the center, or on the embankment the owner met us very professionally, sent instructions for the trip, explained information about the island and gave advice.

Eduardo is a genuine and humble host, the rooms can be a bit noisy but all the guests and staff were very respectful. Very central located!

What it was a self serve with a kitchen for you to store food items and very well organized. Ample dining and kitchen space. Easy walk to the harbor, parking available but very tight

La ubicación, la facilidad para aparcar cerca del apartamento, la amabilidad de Eduardo (nos hizo el favor de hacer el check in antes porque estábamos muy cansadas del vuelo, todo un detalle). Los detalles en la habitación de te y capsulas de café. Las habitaciones y todo el piso es precioso. Tiene un patio espectacular donde poder desayunar o incluso comer.

El único pero, es que la cocina se me hace algo pequeña para compartir con tanta gente. No se si todas las habitaciones son así pero al menos la nuestra, eran dos camas individuales, me hubiera gustado una cama doble.

Tolle Unterkunft, zentral gelegen, gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im Garten kann man gemütlich ausspannen.

Leider hellhörig, aber alle Gäste haben sich bemüht ruhig zu sein.

O prédio histórico com um lindo jardim num local tranquilo é muito bem conservado, o meu quarto foi claro e limpíssimo, equipado com simplicidade e gosto, o espaço comum da cozinha embora pequeno foi muito bem organizado por entre os hospedes e incentivava conversas. Eduardo foi muito atento e gentil tanto na comunicação on-line, como em pessoa. Impecável!

TUDO. A localização, a limpeza, a disponibilidade para dispor das partes comuns (salão, pátio exterior, frigorífico etc,) e o profissionalismo do Sr. Eduardo. Estadia tão agradável que por certo voltaremos. Até breve.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The location is excellent—very walkable, with plenty of great food options nearby and convenient access to ocean tour meeting points. I always felt safe in the area, which made the experience even more relaxing. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the unexpected garden, which was absolutely lovely and added a special charm to the stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, always willing to help, especially with tours and offering useful recommendations. I was also pleasantly surprised by the very early check-in, which went far beyond my expectations. The guest house is tastefully decorated, blending a cozy, homely feel with modern touches and well-equipped amenities. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and flexible, allowing for independence and convenience based on my schedule. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely big room with windows which OPEN, great courtyard to enjoy relaxing after a long day exploring.

A tiny inconvenience was the external bathroom, but advised beforehand so not a surprise. It was spotlessly clean. Being water conscious, it worried me the time it took for the hot water to come through

Adorei as casa, a decoração e a localização. A cozinha equipada com tudo para cozinhar, foi óptimo. É uma casa antiga, com grandes áreas e muita luz, renovada com muito bom gosto, com todas as comodidades de uma casa moderna. Tem um jardim interior lindíssimo. Está em frente ao mercado da Graça, com estacionamento gratuito a 10 metros e a 5 minutos a pé do mar.

Ter ficado num quarto que dava para a rua principal, ouvia-se muito barulho dos carros. Mas se a pessoa não precisar de estar no quarto durante o dia, é excelente mesmo!

Die Lage der Unterkunft in der Stadt ist super. Gut war für uns auch die Möglichkeit, ein Dreibettzimmer zu buchen. Der Innenhof mit angrenzendem Garten ist hübsch und ruhig.

Die Kommunikation vor der Ankunft war etwas holprig. In einer Nachricht wurde uns der Code für die Eingangstür mitgeteilt mit dem Hinweis, dieser sei nur UM 14:30 gültig. Wir hatten aber unsere Ankunft erst für 15:30 angekündigt. Es stellte sich nachher heraus, dass wohl eher gemeint war, der Code sei AB 14:30 gültig. Hier hapert es offenbar etwas an den Englischkenntnissen. Das Zimmer war grösstenteils sauber, allerdings hatte es ungespülte Untertassen und ein Regal im Bad war sehr schmutzig (siehe Foto). Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen und müssten ersetzt werden. Für den gebotenen Standard scheint uns der Preis sehr hoch angesetzt.

Great location and the grounds were lovely. It was a very good value. The welcome basket of treats was a nice touch.

Everything was perfect. The guest house is located right in front of the veggie market and close to the centre. Everything was nice and tidy. Eduardo was very friendly and always making sure that everything was okay.

Was sehr schön war, das es ein gemeinsames Zimmer gab, wo man auch die anderen Gäste getroffen hat. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten und du vergisst, das du eigentlich in der Innenstadt bist. Zu Fuss hast du alles erreicht und jeden Tag entdeckst du einen weiteren kleinen Laden in der Nähe.

La estancia ha sido muy acogedora, la habitación es amplia y cómoda.

Eduardo unser Hosts war sehr nett und hat die Badtür gleich geölt, als wir anmerkten, dass diese laut ist. Die Lage war top, wobei unser Zimmer zum Innenhof raus war und nicht zur Strassenseite, daher hatten wir es ruhig, was sicher auch dem schlechten Wetter zu verdanken hatten, denn so hielten sich keine weiteren Gäste draussen auf. Die kleine Gartenanlage war top gepflegt, auch wenn wir diese aufgrund der Wetterverhältnisse nicht nutzen konnten. Grundsätzlich eine schöne Unterkunft.

Das Haus ist recht hellhörig, aber nicht unbedingt störend. Für 2 Personen gab es wenig Ablage. Da wir nur 2 Nächte geblieben sind, konnten wir uns arrangieren. Leider war unser Bad nicht ganz sauber, es waren noch Haare rückständig. Im Bad gab es keine Ablage, auch kein Fenster. Nachts sind wir dann im Bad auch auf eine Kakerlake getroffen.

We stayed for few days and was wonderful, so close to everything and wish to come back

Zentral gelegen. Direkt bei der Markthalle - die leider noch im Bau ist, aber der Markt findet im untergeschoss statt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, das war schön ruhig.

Parkplatz suche gestaltete sich teilweise als schwierig, bitte auch auf längere Wege einstellen.

La ubicación es perfecta y la habitación enorme y comodísima. Dormimos los 5 genial. No le falta ni un detalle en las zonas comunes, para cocinar, lo lavar ropa... tiene de todo lo que puedas necesitar. El anfitrión supermajo. Cerca de la playa, de ¡zonas peatonales con tiendas y restaurantes...

El baño era privado pero estaba fuera de la habitación y tenias que pasar por las zonas comunes. No siempre pudimos aparcar facilmente.
