Karee Manor Guesthouse

We have stayed here before and we will do it again.

The location was good with a beautiful view over the river. A big thank you for the upgrade, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing, everything was superb.

Fresch and clean.

Nothing.

Modern layout with warm touches. Loved the views.

Nothing stands out.

The view and space.

Nothing.

Lovely property and wonderful views

The view was nice.

It was a total misrepresentation by Booking.com. The website showed a lovely guest house with communal eating and seating areas. We were shown into what was basically a cell. Double bed with a bathroom. No room to move and no AC. It was unbearably hot. A television was in place but you’d have to sat sideways on the bed to watch it. We booked two nights and left after one. One of our worst Booking.com experiences …. So disappointing.

Nice room, uncomplicated chech in and out, safe and quiet area

Not available

I enjoyed the view and quiet surroundings

Didn’t dislike anything

Good views of area. Unit clean with firm mattress and clean comfy bedding. Large bathroom with large shower. No road or area noise

Main light in unit 2 has no on/off switch in unit and only light was bedside tables. Early morning hot water was intermittent during shower ranging from ice cold to boiling hot without warning. Only on-street parking outside of boundary fence available

spaciousness

the water is not draining effectively in bathroom

Very safe and secure location. River views from the stoep, well maintained and appointed garden. Bed and linen was really good quality. Nicely appointed furnishings, stylish. Ross went out of her way to organize a small Weber braai for us so that we could bbq. Kudos

We realise this room wasn’t really meant to be fully self catering- but we just missed a toaster, and maybe a proper breadknife, utility knife etc. However, the crockery & cutlery that was provided, did the job. Nothing not to like. Maybe a small little bathroom stand would also be nice to put things on.

No breakfast

Kettle and fridge did not work.

Wonderful Stay at Karee Manor. Room was lovely and had great facilities. Check-in was smooth and easy and we loved our visit!

Nothing

Very comfortable space with a fantastic view of the lagoon and partially the sea

Beautiful! Clean! Gorgeous!

Nothing

It was quiet, well equipped and position awesome as slightly away from the hustle and bustle. The host was awesome and gave us loads of information and adventures to seek in Stilbaai.Host went above and beyond to assist and was so very much appreciated.

Nothing

Very centrally situated with spacious rooms, a great view, and an excellent hostess.

Lovely view & location. Very clean & tidy.

None

Wunderbare Aussicht auf die Bucht, schöne große Dusche und einfach zauberhafter kleiner Ort.

Excellent overall

No place to hang your bath towel by the shower or put your belongings other than the floor

Sehr schöne Zimmer und toller Blick.

There was no breakfast served. We asked for braai facilities and got a dirty Weber braai but no cleaning material, or wash basin for dishes etc.

The braai was filthy, and the sliding doors to protect us from the wind outside were broken. In addition, there were two wasps inside the bedroom. There were absolutely no proper kitchen facilities in the room for washing up coffee cups, etc, so we had to try and clean these in the bathroom. No hot water in the basin. The TV did not work. The accommodation was barely adequate, and the room was very small.

Stunning villa with amazing views. Extremely comfortable, great location.

L’appartamento è spazioso, moderno, accogliente e con tutti i comfort. La Host molto cortese e disponibile nel fornirci tutte le info necessarie. Ci ha anche fatto l’upgrade della stanza

Nulla da segnalare

Every thing was lovely, clean and had all what you wanted

The shower was very slow draining and mouldy it needs to be suctioned so water can run away instead of standing in water when showering

Very clean and well equipped. with good quality bedding and big TV.

A table or chair in the bathroom would have been nice to put toiletries and clothes rather than the floor.

Every was perfect

The house was easy to find, our welcome was warm and friendly, located close to town, wonderful view of the estuary, the sleep was comfortable and had a good night sleep. Would really recommend Karee Manor.

Really great location with beautiful view and exactly as the pictures. Had everything you need especially the water. Wow haven't tasted pure water like that. And refilled everyday.

I wanted to stay longer to enjoy more.

Ros the host was exceptional. From the time she received our last minute booking she stayed in touch despite our late Arrival. Excellent amenities including a bar fridge and Microwave. The room has a very informative directory. Host also recommended excellent locations for breakfast & lunch

Lovely location and views are fabulous. We were very kindly upgraded and had a relaxing stay. Would stay again in this lovely town.

Beautifully and modern property with an amazing view out of the hustle and bustle of the main traffic route. Quite setting and nice comfortable furnishings to assist a good nights rest. Loved the extra details

Everything was excellent

Good location, good views, clean apartment

There was nothing we didn’t like

Awesome stay, thank you

spectacular view

We would have liked breakfast to be available at Karee House.

Room was comfortable and clean. We were upgraded which was great. Enjoyed view from patio. Cleaning staff were pleasant.

We had major ant problem. Ants even on bed had to keep everything closed and constantly spray. Even bought ant traps. Had no interaction with host that could make her aware of problem.

Superb location. Comfortable first class room. Have stayed at this venue several times.

N-a

The toilet tap was broken

Fantastic view. Good location. Within walking distance of restaurants etc. The owner, Kim, was super helpful when we had a problem with the hired car. All very good.

Nothing not to like.

Everything was great, will definitely be back!

Great location and very welcoming.

Lovely location with views across the bay/estuary. Clean, modern and spacious and comfortable.

The internet ! Dropped in and out .....quite frustrating when you are traveling and away from home. Otherwise brilliant !

Apartment was very neat and clean. Very modern. Bed was nice and big and so comfortable. Privacy was nice. Information given was very detailed. Very nice view

That I could not stay longer to enjoy the facilities. As we only had an overnight stay.

Everything it was perfect, lovely view from the window clean, comfortable bed and great shower

Nothing

Clean and modern. Perfect stay for a night away.

Just a nice little stop off on garden route

Good location, lovely rooms and friendly staff.

It was our second stay at Karee Manor travelling for business; the host, the property and Stilbaai impressed us again.

Amazing views and beautiful Guesthouse!!

Great location. Host’s constructive response to a plumbing problem
