B&B Hotel Elselina

Wir möchten uns bei Svetlana und Theo für die schöne Tage und die Gastfreundlichkeit in Schiedam bedanken. Die Unterkunft ist super, sehr sauber und modern. Die Lage ist Top. Wir hatten die Fahrräder dabei und viel unternommen. Bis nach Rotterdam sind das nur 10km. Bis zur Nordsee 25km. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr sauber und alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Blick auf den Fluss hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Abends kann man sehr gemütlich auf der Terrasse sitzen. Außerdem gibt es eine Klimaanlage, die bei heißem Wetter wirklich Gold wert ist.

Das Bett war für uns etwas zu weich, aber für andere ist das vielleicht gerade ein Pluspunkt.

The location was perfect for Schiedam hockey club. Spacious shower, big bed, kitchen/dining area, all exceptionally clean. Separate building with cooking facilities, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests use. Able to walk into Schiedam, loved all the windmills.

On ne peut pas ouvrir la fenêtre de la chambre à coucher, pour avoir de l’air extérieur, il faut laisser la porte ouverte.

Super freundliche Gastgeber. Die Lage war Top wenn man es ruhiger haben möchte alles gut mit Bus und Bahn erreichbar. Wenn wir das nochmal buchen sollten nehmen wir aufjedenfall Fahrräder mit dann ist man hier noch freier unterwegs.

Een uitstekende locatie, heel rustig en heel grote kamers. Zeer schoon, en geweldige host. Geeft een huiselijk gevoel en niet zozeer de vaak kille hotel ervaring. Parkeren kan altijd vlak bij.

Es un hotelito muy, muy limpio. La calidad de los acabados es muy buena. Está todo impecable. Elsina nos dedicó tiempo a explicarnos todo. Está en un barrio muy tranquilo de Schiedam, pero facilmente accesible, a unos 5 minutos de la autopista.

Necesitábamos dormir y poco más, de ahí que no esperábamos servicios extras comoservicios de habitaciones, etc. No hubo algo "que no nos gustase"

Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es standen frische Blumen auf dem Tisch und es wurde täglich gereinigt. 🙏 Alles fußläufig erreichbar. 👍🏻 Die Lage direkt auf dem Wasser wunderschön. 🤩 Wassertaxi nach Rotterdam ein Erlebnis 😄

Old school decor room on a floating house. I had a newly decorated room,with a great view...the styling was so outdated that it was even a better experience. Big room. Nice kitchen and a big dining table. Great view over the canal. Free parking in front of the hotel on the street.

Only minis point was that you had to take off your shoes when entering the main house. Luckily I brought slippers so that was not a problem. Not a lot of restaurants etc in the neighborhood.

Perfect hosts. Nice bed. Room cleaned every day. Good coffee machine downstairs.

Ein bisschen mehr Geschirr und Weingläser wäre toll.

A szállásadók kedvesek voltak,tiszta volt,rendben volt,bolt közel,tömegközlekedés 10 perc séta.

Die Gastfreundschaft war überwältigend, gensudo wie das Frühstück! Unbedingt mitbuchen, wenn man gerne ausführlich Frühstückt und sich das Geld für ein überteuertes Mittagessen sparen möchte. Danke für die wunderschönen Tage, wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

Felt like we were in The Netherlands, a unique stay on the water. The couple that run the B & B are very friendly, enjoyed chatting with them. Would book the B & B again if we were to return to the area.

Fui muito bem recebido, pessoas muito simpáticas e prestáveis, Localização excelente. Sem dúvida um local para voltar quando visitar Roterdão.

De mooie ligging en geweldige hotel boot. Het gaat boven je verwachtingen uit. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is er brandschoon.. Wij wonen op Aruba en kwamen hier, erg koud. Zij kwamen direct in actie en kregen een winterdekbed plus elektrische kacheltje. Er is van alles aanwezig en zekers voor een langer verblijf. Een koffiemachine met 12 verschillende smaken de hele dag gratis.Er is een aparte tuinhuis met elektrische kookplaat, potten, pannen en bestek. Vaatwasser en je hoeft je gebruikte borden en bestek erin te zetten, s’avonds zetten zij hem aan. Er is een wasmachine en droger aanwezig. Supermarkt en andere winkeltje om de hoek dat in een rustige buurt.

This is a boat at a very good place. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owner are very kind and helpful.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ist top. Es ist eine sehr schöne Kombination, das Zimmer und die Außenbereiche zum verweilen. Es gibt eine sehr gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche und sogar die Möglichkeit seine Wäsche zu waschen. Sehr nette Gastgeber, Kaffee und Wasser steht den Gästen gratis zur Verfügung. Es war sehr schön für mich in einem schwimmenden Hotel zu übernachten. Herzlichen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Das Erlebnis auf einem Hausboot zu übernachten war ganz besonders. Der Blick auf die Gracht ist toll. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Das Zimmer ist liebevoll renoviert und ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super: mit Bus, Tram oder Wassertaxi ist man schnell in Rotterdam und mit dem Zug in Delft. In gemütlichen 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an den schönen Kanälen und Lokalen in Schiedam. Wir haben das Auto problemlos und ohne Parkgebühren in der Straße parken können. Sehr gerne kommen wir einmal wieder!

Everything from the booking communication to the last day was fabulous! Elselina is a consummate hostess:) Her husband gave hekp up and down the houseboat stairs with our overloaded suitcases - thanks to Darryl! From the time we checked in we were very well looked after. The room was well appointed with a lovely view of the canals and bridges and it was large and beautifully furnished. The bed was a dream to sleep on. There was a coffee machine in the hall to help oneself to as well as in room faciltiies. A small kitchenette was everything we needed to fix small meals and the bathroom was meticulously clean and with abundant hot water we managed to stay clean (and warm - it was very cold there in mid winter) after walking all day seeing the sights. A very good supermarket for shipping is only about 25 metres away so it made things very easy. Great ready made meals to do "pierce and ping". B & B Hotel Elselina was very suitable for my niece and I but I imagine for a couple it would be incredibly romantic. Can't say how great it was to be there in Scheidam and have such a wonderful stay! Thanks Elselina for making The Netherlands so wlecoming and wonderul:)

Location was great. Rooms were cleaned daily. Quiet location. Great hosts. Free coffee machine which made great coffee.

It was a large houseboat and we were upgraded to a bigger room. Spotlessly clean, and we had the use of a full kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Staff were super helpful.

The hotel owners are very helpful and friendly. We stayed for two weeks, it almost felt like home. It is immaculate, spacious, has rooms with beautiful views. Best experience I've ever had. If you are thinking of staying in this vicinity, come here without hesitation.

Very calm location and close to amenities like supermarket or pharmacy. The neighbourhood is having free parking and lovely. The accomodation was as described and loved the hospitality.

The description for the "Studio" room is lacking detail, this is just a minor detail to fix on the booking.com description of the room.

Excellent and friendly host.

Host didn’t know much about local area and ways of transport around the place. It would have been good to have some info regarding local places to eat etc. We found it hard to find a decent place to eat around the area.

Warm welcome, helpful and friendly staff, clean accommodation, quiet environment, proximity to supermarket and small, independent shops, easy walking distance along scenic canals to sights and station.

there is a 3 euro/person/ night tourist tax which is not advised until after you confirm the booking. Quite a long walk into Schiedam,and a noisy neighbourhood. Despite the tourist tax, the streets are full of rubbish, worst I’ve seen in many years of travelling in normally very clean Netherlands. Not allowed to wear shoes ! Also note that this is not a traditional B&B where breakfast is included.

Very friendly owner, great spot to stay overnight if you enjoy life in a city with a lot of waterways. Uncomplicated access.

It was all good

The room had a little kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and sink so I could be self sufficient. Also a supermarket just around the corner. A quiet neighbourhood and very clean room.

I could work, Elselina took care of the breakfast and my lunch, so I could focus in work and rest during the weektime I speed there. Quiet place, no disturbances, very nice details from Elselina.

We did not have breakfast but the room was lovely and warm and very cosy. we thoroughly enjoyed the stay but there was quite a bit of traffic early morning

cosy clean special ; perfect hidden gem

Good location as bus stop outside with buses every 30 mins to central station to get trains and metro to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. But last bus leaves the train station to get back to hotel at 19:40. We missed the last bus and had to get a taxi for 8 euros. Host was lovely. Room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Host gives you plastic shoes to wear around the house. Free off street parking. Microwave and fridge in room so we did our own porridge for breakfast and tea. Supermarket across the road.

Bathroom was quite small. No wardrobes to hang clothes.

I have always dreamed to live in the hotel on the water, the view is wonderful. Rotterdam is close to the location. Hosts are very caring, you have everything you need on the way. There is a common kitchen, we bought fish and srimps on the market and cooked. Really enjoy the time.
