Desafortunadamente nos tocó una enorme cantidad de sargazo y no era posible nadar en la playa. Incluso, no se podía caminar en la playa y el olor era desagradable.

I got a massage while I was there and it was amazing. I met a friend at the pool during my stay and we both got a massage and Lilliana & Maria were friendly and great at their job. We did the outdoor massages on the beach and it was so relaxing and the massage felt incredible! The actual spa was so nice also - definitely recommend taking advantage of that.

The phones in the room were a little confusing. I also didn’t like the early morning call to see the concierge.

Das Personal - besonders beim Frühstück - ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Gänge des Hotels sind lang und langweilig - manches ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen - aber Pools und Liegen sind sehr angenehm. Perfekte Lage vom Flughafen her kommend. Haben die ersten beiden Nächte dort verbracht.

Such a great hotel. Great staff, food, cocktails, Waiters. All around. Studio room with kitchen was great, fresh and up to date. Close to airport. Lots of pools and beach to choose from. Only downside was the timeshare push. Oh well.

The breakfast buffet is wonderful !

The beach is not cleaned out like in other resorts and they have tourism staff everywhere all pricing is in USD and I want to see the Mexican pricing. The pools are very shallow and they did not have the wave rider set up which would have been nice since we didn’t have much access to the beach

Near to airport and lovely pool and beach. Beds are comfortable. Lighting in rooms oddly dark. Bathrooms slightly rustic but with good shower. Good breakfast and really friendly staff.

Everything was fine. Bathrooms could do with an update. Just be warned to pre-arrange taxi Cancun airport. The taxi stand charged about £120 for 20 minute drive!

We had an amazing time at this hotel during our vacation. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with an ocean view. The staff was incredibly attentive, cleaning the room every day and even washing the dishes. The bar was excellent, and the restaurant by the ocean served delicious food. The recreation team was also fantastic, especially Oscar, who helped my daughter with her surf lesson on the Flow Rider. I have no complaints about this hotel. They even gave me a late check-out. The staff treated us exceptionally well and made us feel like we were well taken care of. We’re definitely coming back. The beach was also great, with not too much sargassum. The location was convenient and easy to get to. Thank you, Westin, for making our vacation so great

The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. Other than that, there's nothing to like about this property.

It's really a gut-job and total remodel necessary for this very aged hotel. Thankfully we were just passing through for one night. The rooms and bathrooms are full of caulk trying to cover up all the old disrepair. There is no character or decoration anywhere. Basically a big white box on a beach full of sargasum making it unusable. The pool areas are so old and uninviting. Bad food options; mediocre buffet they wanted to charge us for even though we paid for the breakfast option and I had to spend time at reception as a result.

I’ll say this one time my stay at westin was super super special of one and only guy name vicente he was the sweetest and the most hard working person, we stayed there for 7 days but this guy made sure we were well taken care off! This guy is the never the less the best guy, he deserve the best of everything his work or this world has to offer, the westin is super lucky to have such an amazing and hard working guy like him, he is the best out of all the serves who served us, he deserves a big promotion cause 7 days was enough to see who was making sure we were well taken care of! All the best vicenete and Westin loved our stay ,

Quiet location, beach, fun team, helpful and friendly staff (some of them).

Some staff members were rude and asking tips just doing bare minimum, beehive near the window, windows were dirty, leaking taps.

We did the cocktail class at the Westin hotel and resort Cancun. It was only $5 per person for the class. Claudia, Alejandra and Gulliemo did an amazing job keeping up entertain and laughing the entire time. Highly recommend the cocktail class!!!

Los resortes de la base de la cama rechinaban un poco. El tiempo del check out es demasiado preciso, a las 10:01 ya se habia bloqueado la llave, sin embargo nos lo resolvieron rápidamente en la recepción

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Westin Cancun Resort & Spa! I have now stayed at this resort five times, and I’m already looking forward to returning in September for my sixth visit. That says everything about how much I love this property! While the resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and in an incredible location, the number one reason I continue to come back is the people. The staff consistently provide top-notch service, genuine hospitality, and the kind of personal attention that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. I want to give a special shout-out to some of the incredible team members who have made my stays so memorable: Fernando — Bartender: Always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. After five visits, I can honestly say that The Westin Cancun is my favorite hotel, and the staff are a huge part of why. I have stayed at many resorts, but there is something special about the people here. We Already Miss It & We Haven’t Even left yet!! Where do I even start?! We had the BEST time at The Westin Cancún! This was one of those vacations where you leave already talking about when you can come back — and luckily for us, we’re already planning to return at the end of September! What made this trip so special wasn’t just the beautiful resort, the food, the drinks, or the activities — it was the PEOPLE. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fun, welcoming, and memorable. We participated in SO many activities during our stay. We rode the FlowRider several times, played water games, did pool workouts, made brackets, enjoyed the themed dinners, spent time at the sports bar, ate A LOT of food, had plenty of drinks, and basically said YES to everything fun happening around the resort. 😂 The Fun Team was absolutely AMAZING! Oscar was our FlowRider instructor and was fantastic! We had so much fun that we went back multiple times. He was encouraging, patient, and made the experience so much fun. Guillermo was awesome with the pool exercises and brought such great energy to the activities. Claudia and Anna Banana were also incredible and helped make the activities so much fun. They brought personality, energy, and so many laughs to our days. And then there were all of the people who took care of us throughout the resort: Manuel — Bartender — seriously, an AMAZING bartender! Fernando — Bartender Vicente — Bartender Louis — Food Operations Raphael — Front of House Staff Wilbert “Willy” — Sports Bar Waiter Selso “Seltzer” — Steak & Wine Server Jesus — Sports Bar Chef Felipe — Sports Bar Manager Maria — Massage Therapist & Spa Staff Every one of them deserves a shoutout because they each added something special to our vacation. And I have to mention housekeeping, because our room was absolutely spotless and clean! Anytime we needed our room cleaned, the staff was on it. We never had to worry about coming back to a messy room, and that made such a difference during our stay. It was clear that the entire resort takes cleanliness seriously. The themed dinners were one of our favorite things, and we loved having so many different activities available. We never felt bored because there was always something going on — but if we wanted to just relax by the pool, we could do that too. The sports bar was another favorite, and Willy, Jesus, and Felipe made our time there even better. The food and drinks were great, and the service was wonderful. And the spa! Maria was amazing, and the entire spa staff made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Honestly, what impressed us most was how many employees remembered us, interacted with us, and made us feel like more than just another guest. Those little interactions are what you remember when you get home. The Westin Cancún has an INCREDIBLE team. Please recognize these employees because they truly made our vacation what it was. We came to Cancún to relax, have fun, eat good food, drink good drinks, and make memories — and we did ALL of that. Now we’re already counting down to the end of September! Thank you, Westin Cancún, for such an amazing stay. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully see all of these wonderful people again! 10/10 vacation. 10/10 staff. Spotless rooms. Amazing activities. Sargasses, équipements vieiilots, architecture peu esthétique, un des enfants est tombé malade après avoir dîné au restaurant de l’hôtel

Le package n’a pas été respecté par l hôtel : nous avions un package comprenant le petit déjeuner et ils ont refusé 2 pdj pour notre famille de 4 en prétextant que ce n était pas inclus. Et en plus le pdj n était pas de qualité pour ceux sui ont la chance de le goûter 😆. Le personnel a l accueil n a montré aucune empathie.

The people here could not be friendlier! Manuel Louis was wonderful! Oscar taught this 58 year old grandmother who grew up in a land locked state how to surf! Claudia is amazing with helping out with everything, Raphael is a charmer that can help you plan out your full trip and offer advise on the best time to do them! Wilbert is one of the most amazing waiters I’ve ever had! Guillermo is the man to lead the party, play the music, and teach you to dance! Anna Banana will show you the hidden gems of this massive resort! Genaro and Selso made sure that you are felt welcome and keep your table well served! Vicente brought us everything f at the pool before you ever had to look for anyone and Manual is absolutely the BEST BARTENDER EVER!!!!

Me and my family spent one day here, we were traveling the next. I loved it! If I were to stay here longer i would’ve enjoyed it. The view was wonderful, the food was great. The was one problem, it would get really hot. I was on a right room, with more of my family on the left side, we kept the door open but this was a bad idea, our air conditioning would blow into their room and it was crazy hot in our room!

Guillermo and Ana Banana was absolutely amazing for all the activities and were so fun to be around!! They made everything so much fun!! Oscar, Gernaro and so many others I can't remember the name!! This was an amazing place to be!!

Very good salsa class; all the 2pm classes are a must. Super affordable ($5) and the serves/teachers (Ana, Guillermo, Gerardo, Oscar) are amazing. They make the experience for sure. 11/10 would recommend

Vlakbij luchthaven en toch aan zee. 15 min Zeer grote kamer , hotel zelf wat verouderd maar zeker goed voor 1 of 2 nachten. Zeer lekker gegeten in restaurant sea en Stones Ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en lekker.

The crew were working to hard at the beach gathering tons of seaweed and removing it by hand into about hundred bags. Too labor intensive. I feel those poor guys need a small pickup to haul it out . Those guys are working too hard for something mother nature produces everyday. You got great workers . I hope they are greatly appreciated and bonuses are distributed at the end of the year 🙏 ❤️. One more thing was our bed was broke down on the edges. Otherwise the cost of our stay was very well worth it .

Westin was a great hotel to stay at! I would certainly consider about coming back in near future! Front office team such as Roger was excellent very friendly and helpful! Also I got a chance to speak to hotel manager Walter; he was charming and delightful person to talk to!

Kamer zonder balkon. Er is geen omkleedruimte voor gasten die uitchecken en later vertrekken zodat ze bijvoorbeeld nog willen zwemmen of aan het strand liggen.

Os quartos são grandes, camas confortáveis. Ficamos com vista para o Lago no térreo, uma boa opção, pq virado para a piscina é mais barulhento. Várias piscinas. Limpeza boa. Um bom custo benefício no padrão resort, que não é all inclusive.

Comidas e bebidas são caras, prepare o bolso. Tem uma piscina de ondas que promete aula de surf com uma degustação de 5 minutos gratuita, mas nunca estava funcionando e quando funcionou o operador disse que não existia essa degustação, mas tinha uma placa enorme falando que tinha a degustação de 5 minutos gratuita. Decepção para as crianças.

Er hangt geen echte sfeer in dit hotel. Daarnaast is het aan onderhoud toe. Dat zie je ook overal terug.

The property was clean and comfortable but over all the personal treated us very well. The person that took our luggage to our room was very courteous his name was Misael. He made us feel at home. We had two different waiters at breakfast by the names of Rene and Ramon. One day we went to Xcaret we left real early and we asked Rene if we could get sack lunch since we weren’t having breakfast at the hotel. He made sure we got our sack lunch and the next day took time to ask us if they had our sack lunch ready. When we left there was a gentleman by the name of Jesus and he helped us with our luggage also very kind. Everyone was very kind and caring.

The staff we’re all great. Really enjoyed all of our interactions. The food and drinks were good.

Nothing major that I didn’t like. Overall cleanliness was good but could use some deep cleaning, especially in the bathroom shower where you could see mold growing in the vents.

La cama es de muy buen tamaño pero tiene como un plástico protector bastante incómodo, el baño se ve poco cuidado.

Café da manhã era sensacional, a comida dos restaurantes muito boa, especialmente no restaurante de frente pra praia. O espaço do hotel é muito bacana. Foi bem relaxante estar por lá.

Os preços são salgados em comparação à Playa del Carmen, mas imagino que seja uma problema de Cancun. Além disso, havia uma mensagem avisando sobre 5 minutos gratuitos na piscina de bodyboard, mas esse serviço nunca foi oferecido. Quando finalmente havia alguém no local fomos informados que o serviço só seria liberado com pagamento para aulas, ou seja, não havia nenhum momento gratuito.

Cumpre para o fim a que se destina.

Privada estava com defeito. Adquirimos com café da manhã incluso e no local nos foi cobrado café da manhã. Acredito fielmente que foi um equívoco e que irão reembolsar o valor cobrado já que eles cobram logo na chegada, para que vc fique sem opção e pague de uma vez a fim de não se incomodar na viagem. Enfim. Estamos em contato com a plataforma já que no hotel não tivemos a opção de não pagar e eles que entrassem em contato. Enfim. Veremos o que irá ocorrer a seguir.

We had a great week at the Westin Resort & Spa in Cancun. The hotel, staff, breakfast buffet, restaurants, spa and the pools were great overall. Super helpful and nice hotel staff, always happy to help. Guest experience manager Rafael Valdez was exceptionally sweet and nice. He always said hello with a smile every time he saw us and made sure we’re having a great time. All the servers at the buffet/restaurants were great. Boy they work hard in that hot and humid Cancun weather with such nice attitude! We enjoyed our stay very much.

O acesso interno é meio confuso O café da manhã não agradou

Zeer mooi privé strand. Verschillende zwembaden, echt een mooi hotel waar je tot rust kan komen en kan ontsnappen van de drukke en feestende Cancun. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. Leuke animatie van het hotel. Comfortabele grote kamers.

Kleine en beperkte gym.

Buen lugar para realizar diferentes actividades dentro del hotel. Habitación muy cómoda.

We booked this hotel as it was southern end of Zona Hoteleria, on the beach and my Titanium elite status with Marriott. It’s is a vacation club property and it shows in service and attitude. Front deat is miserable! God forbid if you get Ivan—he literally mocks you—never seen anything like this in all my travels. Christine the FDM, is indifferent. Lobby is full of “concierge” who are selling you the timeshare. Zero help!! Beach is nice but the riptides makes it impossible to swim. Restaurant, average. Service good. Room standard Westin—comfortable beds, clean. Amenities basic Westin. Gym good. Overall clean. Made a mistake of booking the wrong Westin (a timeshare hotel). Will not go back or recommend.

Muy bien con todo el personal. Pero no me gustó la actitud de un botones que nos llevó el equipaje a la habitación y por descuido no le di propina.

If you are coming please you have to do the experience Flow Rider, so much fun with Oscar, the trainer. Rafael Valdez, manager of customer experience is the best. He had an amazing attention with me. My job is to organize events, for sure I will consider this Hotel because it has great spots. The lifeguards are an amazing job and Andres takes care of the turtle’s eggs cause also if you come on June you can see a lot of them (a unique experience) just please be quite and don’t take pictures. Great service. I had the best time.
