Wir wurden so herzlich aufgenommen und fühlten uns gleich wie zu Hause. Sauberkeit und ein mehr als herausragendes Frühstück haben das ganze noch getoppt. War ein Spitzenrestaurant, wir würden hier sofort wieder buchen und vermissen es jetzt schon Punkt ganz liebe Grüße Andrea und Uwe

Friendly hostess, and we received a delicious takeaway breakfast because we wanted to leave early for Addo. Perfectly located near the South Gate of Addo. There is also a great restaurant within walking distance.

Großes Zimmer. Frischer Obstsalat, Joghurt und mehr zum Frühstück. Idealer Ausgangsort zu den Dünen (Traumhaft) und zum Addo Park (Südgate).. Sichere Gegend.

Etwas laut (Straße N2 und Tankstelle. Fenster deshslb geschlossen. Aber gut funktionierende Klimaanlage vorhanden.

Warm welcome on arrival. Excellent location for an overnight stay after a day exploring in Addo; Spar right next door for supplies and the room was well equipped for basic food preparation. And access to the Sundays River for a walk to stretch your legs after travelling

Close to N2 and the petrol station so there is some traffic noise in the rooms facing that side which might be an issue for some

- Zimmer war recht klein - Blick aus dem Fenster auf Wassertanks war nicht optimal ->> aber für 2 Tage vollkommen in Ordnung

Es gab einige Toilettenartikel im Bad, aber leider keine Seife.

Lage direkt am Südeingang vom Addo. Hervorragend. In unmittelbarer Nähe ein Afrika Restaurant, sehr zu empfehlen! Gastgeberin etwas zurückhaltend, aber immer hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Bad sehr groß. Gutes Frühstück.

Super Ausgangslage um den Addo Elephant Nationalpark zu besuchen. Supermarkt, Tankstelle und Restaurant sind in Laufdistanz. Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet. Ein leckeres Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet.

Wir haben hier übernachtet, um eine Safari im Addo Nationalpark zu machen. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Außerdem war das Frühstück ausgezeichnet.

Heerlijk ontbijt en super dichtbij de zuid ingang van Addo Elephant Park.

Ligt direct aan een drukke snelweg en tankstation, maar dit was vooraf bekend. Dit heeft ons niet weerhouden om het te boeken.

Le logement est situé à la sortie sud de Addo Parc, dans un village qui précède Port Elizabeth : Colchester. La nuit, il y a moins de passage sur la route nationale toute proche que dans la journée. Demander absolument un logement qui ne donne pas sur la route et pas face à la station service. Les prestations sont correctes.

Nous nous avons eu la malchance de tomber sur des chambres qui donnaient sur la rue. Le logement est situé très près de la route nationale et juste en face d'une station-service qui comporte 8 pompes ouvertes 24 heures sur 24 et qui accueillent de nombreux poids-lourds. La journée, ils sont en file d'attente juste devant la chambre et laissent le moteur allumé. Cela donne l'occasion d'apprécier les semi-remorques qui ont 2 remorques chacune passant sur le dos d'âne précédent l'accès à la pompe agitant d'autant les contenus. Et oui, nous proches d'un port et l'activité est intense. Pas dormi donc. C'est le logement le plus cher que nous avons payé durant tout notre séjour et le moins bon rapport qualité/prix.

The breakfast was great and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There seems to be a slight problem with the drains, but otherwise all was good. The trucks didn't bother too much.

Thanks so much to the Jade and the managing staff for the pleasant hospitality, the health food breakfast rich in fruits presented in a nice arrangement and view to the garden in this likable Guesthouse, and, last not least, for perfect and sensible organization.

The temp staff who did not offer everything that the permanent last offered. Perhaps better and full training for a stand in last is needed. No music was put on etc.

The beds were comfortable and warm, there was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good, the property was neat and clean, and the hostesses were welcoming and helpful. The onsite generator kicked in when a thunderstorm took out the power and we never even noticed! Breakfast was tasty and the servings more than adequate. Very nice coffee too. The position on the river is perfect for a stroll. I would definitely stay here again, and have no problem recommending it to other travellers.

I really can't fault anything with this property.

Die Lage. Auch die Zimmer sind eher einfach.

The young lady doing the check-in put so much effort into making this place truly like a home far away from home. I loved the warm heated hospitality, the pool after an exciting day in nearby Ado Elephant Park, the delicious breakfast and the beautiful sunset at the river just behind my perfect place to stay 🤗

That I have to move on instead of just staying...

Very friendly personnel. Extremely comfortable beds! Handy short stay if you visit Addo Elephant Park. The restaurant at walking distance has good food and drinks

View at the parking place. Swimming pool is at another location, so you have to walk to another house. There is nothing else to do than visit Addo Elephant Park. If you have been to Kruger, we would skip it, unless you only want to visit a malariafree park. For us it was a little disappointing after our amazing time in Kruger. But that is not to blame to this accomodation.

Comfy and huge bed, lovely staff and 8 min from Addo South Gate. The breakfast was really good with fresh fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, your choice of eggs and toast. The room was cleaned every day, the aircon was good and it's quiet during day and night despite the proximity to the N2 and the petrol station around the corner. We would stay there again.

Sehr freundicher Empfang, sehr viel Platz auf dem Gelände mit Vorgarten, Garten nach hinten raus mit Zugang zum Fluss, und dann noch ein schöner Pool auf dem Nachbargrundstück. Wären wir früher angekommen, hätten wir uns gern auch tagsüber hier aufgehalten. Der Dünen-Park ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und daher war die Unterkunft für uns ideal. Danke!

We stayed at Sundune Guest House mainly because we needed a place quickly. The host was very kind and attentive, which we really appreciated. The room itself was clean and generally comfortable, but unfortunately there were many dead mosquitoes everywhere, and we also had quite a few live ones — we spent most of the evening trying to get rid of them. A mosquito net would make a big difference. The location is a bit close to the main road, so it can be noisy if the window is open. Also, the pool is not on the property itself, but a few houses away. Overall fine for a short stop, but there is room for improvement.

Einlassklingel fehlt, Renovierungsbedarf von Bad, Dusche, Teppichboden usw.

Chambre propre et confortable très bien située pour accéder au parc addo, porte sud. Également bien située pour visiter les dunes. Le seul restaurant de la ville est à 5mn à pieds

Un vrai bunker avec clôture électrique, porte verrouillée, finalement ça devient engouassant toute cette paranoïa de la sécurité

Schönes Zimmer in guter Lage zum Addo Elephant Park, gutes Restaurant um die Ecke, schöner Garten mit Zugang zum Fluß, sehr nettes Personal, ist extra früher gekommen um uns Frühstück zu machen für frühen Start in den Addo Park, hervorrragendes Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, Eier, Speck, Toast,... das Beste was wir auf unserer Reise hatten, Auto wird sicher im Hof geparkt.

Jade war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns bei sämtlicher Organisation von Ausflügen unterstützt. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt.

Fantastische plek dichtbij de zuidelijke toegang tot Addo Elephant Park. Mooi en zeer ruime kamer/appartement, de luxe variant. Mooie plek om de rivier te volgen via het Pearson Park richting zandduinen en de Indische oceaan.

Overdag wat geluid van de vrachtwagens bij het naastgelegen tankstation.

Das Sundune lag nur wenige Minuten vom Addo South Gate entfernt, ist für Ausflüge in den Addo Park also bestens geeignet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Bad, alles war sehr sauber. In der Nähe neben der Tankstelle befindet sich fußläufig ein Spar und das Restaurant "A taste of Afrika", das wir sehr empfehlen können.

Weniger gut fanden wir, dass sich der Pool nicht am Haus, sondern fussläufig zwei Häuser weiter befand. Das Haus liegt ferner in unmittelbarer Nähe zur N2 und direkt neben einer großen, von Trucks frequentierten Tankstelle. Insgesamt hielt sich die Lärmbelästigung in Grenzen.

Wunderbares Guesthouse, sehr herzliche Betreuung , super tolles Frühstück. Perfekt an der A2 , Tankstelle und Supermarkt um die Ecke, nur 10 min zum Addo Elephant Park.

Jade went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

Op het laatste moment hebben we ons verblijf moeten omboeken en kwamen op dit adres uit. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding was goed. Het personeel was wel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het was dicht bij het Addo park.

We vonden het een ongezellige plek en een gedateerd verblijf. Voor 1 of 2 overnachtingen prima maar niet om eens lekker een paar dagen met een gezin te verblijven en uit te rusten.

The hotel is located close to the river and the breakfast room overlooks it. The host is very helpful and the staff at breakfast are very kind. Breakfast is excellent. The room is very spacious and comfortable.

Whilst close to the river the hotel is also next to a delivery centre of some sort with trucks coming and going.

Nette Gastgeberin, die sogar Ausflüge organisiert. Unterkunft liegt direkt an der N2 und ist mit einem Tor und Elektrozaun gut abgesichert.

Illse was a really lovely host. My room was big, comfortable and clean. One of the best showers I have ever had. Breakfast was well cooked. Staff were very friendly and professional. Will definitely stay here again.
