Mooi eigen appartement, veilig achter de poort. Personeel helpt goed met het plannen van excursies en is behulpzaam met ontbijtpakketten maken bij vroeg vertrek.

Maison spacieuse et confortable, très belle vue sur la rivière. Les échanges et l'accueil étaient faciles.

Les salles de bain ne sont pas au niveau du reste du logement.

Esperienza pessima e assolutamente non conforme a quanto promesso. Abbiamo scelto questa struttura come punto di appoggio per visitare Addo e organizzare un safari, anche perché l’host proponeva direttamente questo tipo di attività. Per oltre due settimane ho provato a contattarla per organizzare il safari, ma ho ricevuto solo risposte vaghe e mai utili. All’arrivo (ore 19:00) la situazione è stata surreale: nessuno ad accoglierci, nessuna indicazione chiara e totale assenza di assistenza. Dopo diversi tentativi siamo riusciti a contattare l’host, che ci ha detto di andare a recuperare le chiavi presso un benzinaio, senza spiegazioni precise. Ci siamo ritrovati al buio, in una zona isolata, davanti a più mazzi di chiavi senza sapere quale fosse il nostro, aspettando ulteriori risposte. Una situazione davvero spiacevole e poco sicura. Una volta entrati, le condizioni della casa erano deludenti: • Wi-Fi non funzionante • asciugamani non tutti puliti • assenza totale di sapone o prodotti base per lavarsi • nessun phon disponibile • piscina sporca e inutilizzabile • maniglie e sistemi di sicurezza della casa parzialmente rotti In generale, la struttura non rispetta standard minimi di accoglienza e manutenzione. Inoltre, non abbiamo mai ricevuto alcun supporto per organizzare il safari, che era il motivo principale del nostro soggiorno. Non mi sono mai sentito al sicuro durante la permanenza e, per questo motivo, abbiamo deciso di andare via con un giorno di anticipo, dopo aver fatto 5 ore di viaggio inutilmente. Sconsiglio vivamente questa struttura.

Mooi huis, Wij zaten op de bovenste verdieping. Ruime woonkamer met uitzicht op de rivier. Kan je ook nog stuk langs lopen Dichtbij een spar en benzinepomp en daar zit ook een restaurant waar je lekker kon eten, allemaal op 5 minuten lopen. Ingang Addo op 7 minuten rijden. Zwembad zit erbij met een wc en 4 ligbedden.

Bad in 2e slaapkamer zit geen slang bij dus wel 2e badkamer maar haar wassen gaat daar niet dat moet je dan toch in ander badkamer doen en deze dan delen met zijn vieren Ook zit in de ene kamer geen airco wel een ventilator aan plafond maar daar heb je niks aan zo zacht hij draait. Airco in woonkamer aan en dan slaapkamer deur open laten kan wel Personeel niet gezien in deze 3 dagen. Ontbijt kan je bijboeken 200 rand p.p hebben wij 1 dag gedaan. Zit geen bel bij huis waar deze mevrouw woont dus je staat maar wat te wachten voor het hek in de hoop dat ze je zien staan

Etwas desorganisiert: konfuse Schlüsselübergabe, Wohnung ausgestattet mit kleiner Küche aber ohne Spüle, aber alle Probleme wurden kulant gelöst (Nutzung der gut ausgestatteten Küche in der Nebenwohnung)

Die Lage war gut aber die angebotene Sicht sehr eingeschränkt durch Gitter. Die Schlüssel Übergabe Katastrophe, da keine Klingel am Objekt vorhanden. Schlüssel Kollektion unglaublich.

Sehen sie sich die Schlüsselkollektion an und bewerten sie selbst.Erst nach drei Anläufen und 18 Stunden Später erhielten wir funtionierende Schlüssel zum Aussentor um an den Fluss zu gelangen.Das schlimmste war aber das mit keiner Rezeption vor Ort rechnen kann.Da weder hier noch am benachbarten Sundune House eine Klingel vorhanden ist.Ohne Internet sind Sie verloren und selbst mit Internet die Kontskt Person sehr schwer erreichbar.

Schöne Location mit Blick ins Grüne und auf den Fluss. Sehr sauber, gute Ausstattung, viel Platz. Ideal für den Besuch des Addo Elefant Parks.

Gute Lage zum Addo Park

Es war nicht so sauber. Sehr großes Zimmer und trotzdem kaum Ablagefläche. Nicht besonders gemütlich.

Tolle Unterkunft, nur 5 Minuten zum Addo Elephant Park. In der Nähe gibt es ein gutes Restaurant mit extrem freundlichen Personal.

Schöne Lage direkt am Fluss, wo wir am Morgen aus dem Fenster Mangusten beobachten konnten. Sehr sauber. Fussläufig zum Restaurant.

Aussenplatz war nicht so gepflegt.

Es stand zwar voll-ausgestattete Küche, da war aber nicht man einen Tisch/Stühle im Zimmer. Geschirr ein wenig „schmudelig“ Wifi fubktionierte nie Check out war auch mühsam, da man immer auf jmd warten muss und vorher per whatsapp das personal informieren muss… Wir fanden es definitiv zu teuer für die Leistung!

Die Lage am Fluss ist ansprechend. Der Supermarkt in Gedistanz

Wir wurden von einer Reinigungskraft empfangen. Sonst haben wir den ganzen Aufenthalt niemanden gesehen. Die Küche war nicht sauber, der Geschirrspüler vom Vorgänger noch nicht ausgeräumt und muffig.

Die Unterkunft hat einen hervorragende Lage, wenn man in den Addo Nationalpark fahren möchte. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den Fluss ist ebenfalls top.

Der Check-in sowie der Check-out Prozess waren sehr unorganisiert. Man fühlte sich nicht wirklich willkommen.

The wifi didn't work consistently and the booking.com app said breakfast was a feature but it wasn't included in the stay so I wish they were more clear about it being something we should request as an extra. So some how the offering is misleading

De ligging tov Addo National park is goed

Gedateerde locatie, zwaar omheind met hekken. Op alle ramen zaten tralies. Gehorige hal en smoezelige entree. Het lijkt of het aan de rivier ligt, maar dat is niet zo. Omheinde tuin met verderop de rivier. Ligt dicht bij een benzinestation waar een kleine supermarkt is en een restaurant. De locatiemanager is erg chaotisch en reageert niet op berichten. De Wifi werkt niet, en na een avond regen zaten we zonder stroom en zonder Wifi. Niemand gezien om het op te lossen. Tov andere locaties klopt de prijs niet. Beter paar tientjes meer betalen.

Die Lage ist sensationell mit wunderbarem Blick auf den Sundays River. Praktisch ist, dass man den Spar, die Tankstelle und das Restaurant (Taste of Africa) in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Vom Taste of Africa aus starten viele Touren.

Die Terrassenmöbel (Holzbank mit Tisch) waren wahnsinnig unbequem, da hätte ich mir etwas Gemütlicheres gewünscht.

The room we stayed in was very clean, and very spacious. There was a balcony to sit on. The staff was extremely friendly. The guesthouse is very near to the Addo Elephant park and on the banks of the Sondags river. The restaurant Taste of Africa was very near which serves lovely food.

Peaceful right at the River and clean!

Fantastic apartment with masses of space, a great outside terrace overlooking the River Sunday and what a view at sunset. We wandered down to the river in the afternoon and again in the evening. The kitchen was really well equipped, so elected to cook at home & ate outside on our comfortable terrace, beautiful - with birdsong to accompany us. The bed was super comfortable and huge, linens great, the welcome was really easy & good. We had a quick dip in the pool but generally just chilled as it was mid stop before Addo & a safari at Amakhana Bush Lodge which we would definitely recommend. We were just two people, but it had the space for four easily with two big bedrooms & bathrooms. Parking was easy & secure and close to N2 for onward travel. Highly recommended.

Great location. Easy walk to shops and restaurant. The upstairs unit was a big space to spread out and air conditioning was a major win. Very well equipped kitchen and everything was extremely clean. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Close to the beach and the Addo which is fantastic

It’s old. The bathrooms and kitchen could do with updating but still absolutely spotlessly clean. More an aesthetic concern but the shower head should definitely be upgraded. Also an awning as it was very windy and the balcony was very exposed to make a bbq

The host was amazing, my daughter loved her kindness ❤️ she was sooo amazingly warm and welcoming. Her property gave us the tranquility we needed for the weekend ❤️❤️ Very clean, comfy and spacious apartment 😍😍 it made me feel at ease being with my toddler 💯

Jennifer and her team were great. I stayed in the very comfortable Penthouse suite upstairs, and it had everything I needed for my stay. The breakfasts in the morning were top notch, always served with a smile and a friendly chat. It is close to the Addo Gate and the Taste of Africa Restaurant is on the doorstep, with good food and a good vibe. I will definitely make use of this accommodation again when I visit Colchester again.

It is a great location on the river. Jen was very friendly and accommodating. Even made a nice vegan breakfast for us.

The welcome was warm. There was no interior designer involved in furnishing the accommodation, but it is clean, spacious and comfortable, with an excellent bed. Breakfast was excellent. There is a reasonably good restaurant and a supermarket nearby. Truck drivers also stop there and spend the night, but we were not bothered by that. Besides its proximity to the beautiful Addo Elephant Park, Leanne is the great asset of this place. The list of tips she wrote down for us added a lot of value to our trip for days to come. Very secure and all on the level. Near to a supermarket and restaurant. Very near to the entrance to Addo Elephant park.

No drawers/wardrobes to store clothes, only open shelves and hangers on hooks. Sofa bed in lounge area not comfortable for two adults to sit and watch the tv for long. Only suitable for short stays as whole apartment quite small even for 2 adults.

We visited Addo Elephant park, and this accommodation is very conveniently located, very close to the south entrance of the park. Leanne and Barry proved to be extremely kind hosts and the pool was great for our kids. Breakfast included fresh cut fruits. We enjoyed our stay!

The location of the property was perfect! We were going to the Addo Elephant Reserve and the property is a 5-minute drive from the south gate. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host, Leanne. She was incredibly informative about the park and the local area. She recommended a local restaurant that served delicious food and gave us information about local facilities. She gave us a tour around the property to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The property was incredibly clean and well-presented throughout. It is light (large windows) and airy. The veranda overlooking the river was one of our favourite places to sit. We watched the sun rise and set over the Addo River and we watched a pair of Mongoose playing in the field behind the house. We took a stroll down to the river and watched life go by from the pier. The bedding/towels/soft furnishing etc. was immaculate and the beds were sensationally comfortable. The bathroom facilities were top-notch (hot water & good water pressure). We also appreciated the fact that the car parking was undercover, so our vehicle was constantly in the shade. A cool car in November in South Africa is a definite blessing. We did not use the pool, but it was lovely, clean and private. We loved our stay and would recommend this excellent property very highly. Thanks, Leanne for making our stay as perfect as it was.
