great location

pretty tatty- not too clean, sadly selfish people came back very late and woke us up but that’s not the properties fault of course.

These apartments are superbly located within 100 metres of the cathedral and are ideal for discovering Santiago and what it has to offer. Our host was very efficient and when a taxi didn't turn up, he was able to book another taxi within a few minutes.

Best location, and custom service

Hygiène!!!!! It was so damped and dirty, we got bed bugs bites all over our body. Plus it was loud, and we could hear everything from other rooms.

La situación del apartamento no puede ser mejor, en toda la plaza del Obradoiro y las vistas desde el balcón de la habitación inmejorables. Tuvimos un apartamento para cinco tipo duplex.

Quizas he echado de menos un poco de limpieza, aunque el edificio es antiguo, creo que el cuarto de baños es bastante mejorable.

La ubicación

Hacia un calor infernal y no tenía aire acondicionado, un ventilador de pie bastante sucio que no fue suficiente para el calor que hacía y teniendo en cuenta el precio de la habitación incomprensible!! Si lo único que pagas es la ubicación hay más opciones en la zona mejor acondicionado, una pena la verdad !! Por otro lado la limpieza dejaba que desear, pelos por el suelo … en fin para ser el hotel que más nos costó del recorrido desde luego que uno de los peores. El recepcionista que nos atendió muy amable pero la explicación que nos dio con respecto al aire no entendimos o lo que entendimos es que le costaría caro … en resumen el precio de la habitación no se justifica únicamente por la ubicación ya que al ser una edificación antigua tampoco tiene ascensor que en la situación era lo de menos !

Die Lage ist hervorragend aber s.u. Die Wohnung an sich ist in Ordnung. Jedoch bei unserer Ankunft sehr warm. Keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Ausstattung ok.

Es besteht keine Möglichkeit mit dem Auto zu dem Appartement zu gelangen. Wir hatten versucht den Gastgeber telefonisch zu erreichen, um zu erfragen, wie wir an die Anlage kommen sollen. Obwohl per mail mitgeteilt wurde, dass die Rezeption bis 17 Uhr besetzt sei, hat niemand unseren Anruf entgegen genommen (16:30 Uhr). Wir mussten das Gepäck vom Parkhaus zum zum ca. 200m entfernten Appartement schleppen. Unsere Wohnung lag in der 3. Etage. Da kein Aufzug vorhanden ist, durften das Gepäck auch noch über eine enge Holztreppe nach oben befördern. Die Toilette ist winzig. Für einen Menschen über 1,80m Körpergröße ist die Türe kaum zu schließen.

The window right at street level is not working. You cannot open it, as there is no privacy and if you close it, it is way too hot ans stuffy.

Location was excellent, steps from the cathedral. The host baked a taxi to pick us from the door and take us to the train station.

The bathroom needs repair. There were loose tiles in the shower. The water in the entire apartment never got cold, it was always too hot. The wall next to the kitchen needed repair. The bed was not that comfortable. You have to lean out the window to see the cathedral. We knew there was no air conditioning but the fan they provided was very loud. There was an iron but no ironing board. There is a very loud restaurant/bar downstairs with outdoor seating making it impossible to leave the windows open. There were no kitchen essentials, like salt, pepper, oil, coffee/tea etc.

El apartamento es bonito y está bien situado, pero nuestra experiencia terminó siendo bastante desagradable. Durante la estancia empecé a presentar numerosas picaduras/lesiones por distintas partes del cuerpo y acabé teniendo que acudir al médico, donde necesité tratamiento con Urbason. No puedo afirmar qué insecto las causó, pero el problema apareció mientras estábamos alojados allí y fue lo bastante serio como para que termináramos cambiándonos de apartamento. Lo que más nos decepcionó fue la gestión posterior. A pesar de las molestias, la atención médica y el trastorno que supuso todo esto durante nuestras vacaciones, el alojamiento no mostró una disposición real a compensarnos de forma adecuada . Prometió que nos mandaría el informe de la empresa encargada de revisar posibles plagas y nunca lo envió. Hemos presentado hoja de reclamaciones a consumo para que revise las instalaciones. Creo que es importante contarlo para que otros huéspedes lo sepan y estén atentos. El apartamento puede estar bien en otros aspectos, pero después de lo ocurrido y, sobre todo, de cómo se gestionó nuestra reclamación, nosotros no volveríamos.

Zentraler geht es nicht. Wir hatten Apartment 4, das zur gartenseite liegt. Trotz zentraler Lage war es absolut ruhig. Die Kirchenglocke schlägt morgens sehr früh zur Stunde, das störte uns aber nicht. Es war sauber, der Service sehr aufmerksam. Für Santiago meine erste Wahl, wenn wir wiederkommen.

Muy bien ubicado, al lado de la plaza de la catedral.

Nos quedamos en The Shed, el concepto nos gustó, pero el apartamento en sí estaba muy desgastado. La limpieza también nos pareció insufiente, las sábanas estaban limpias pero pero faltaba una limpieza a fondo. Especialmente en el baño.

La ubicación es perfecta, muy céntrico

Una pena falta limpieza en los apartamentos. Falta aviso o advertencia para los huéspedes, suben y bajan las escaleras de una forma estruendosa, sin saber el gran ruido que hacen.

Am besten war natürlich die absolute zentrale Lage genau neben der Kathedrale und der sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Der Preis war schon extrem überteuert für die gebotene Leistung und Qualität. Alles doch schon sehr abgewohnt. Die Einrichtung könnte erneuert werden.

The location was excellent - very central and convenient for exploring Santiago on foot. The shared garden was also a peaceful and relaxing space, which was nice to have in such a central location.

Unfortunately, there were numerous issues here. The entry system was unreliable and I was locked out twice, with nobody at reception and calls unanswered. I also encountered other guests who had been locked out. While staff were pleasant in person, calls and messages during working hours often went unanswered until the following day. The listing photos are misleading. Rooms are shown with plants, decorations and soft furnishings that weren’t present and were much more basic and worn in reality. The garden was peaceful but unkempt; the pictured fairy lights were never on during my stay and the fountain was off with the water looking mouldy and filled with debris. The Shed was particularly worn. The shower drained poorly, the shower curtain had pink mould and the advertised outdoor bathtub was boarded up. I also discovered after my first night that several French doors had been left unlocked, including bathroom doors that were difficult to secure. Most seriously, on my second morning I found three bed bugs inside the bed in The Shed without having to look hard. I was moved to Apartment 4, where I found another on the wall. When shown to the receptionist, he flicked it away and called it a “coincidence”. I later found a second bed bug there. Finding five bed bugs across two separate units is extremely concerning. Apartment 4 was also very basic, with poor kitchen facilities and no air conditioning, only an old dusty fan - not the premium room I paid for. Afterwards, I sent three emails and messages through Booking.com and WhatsApp but received no response or any apology. I finally received a 20% refund after involving Booking.com customer service, however I don’t feel this adequately reflects the stress and inconvenience of my stay. I would absolutely avoid staying here.

La ubicación es excelente, por lo que es una pena que no cuiden lo mínimo necesario para que el alojamiento sea aceptable y no una decepción como en mi caso.

Al llegar al apartamento, fui al WC y estaba muy, muy sucio. Esto hizo que estuviera incómoda todo el tiempo de la estancia. Aunque avisé y vinieron a limpiarlo enseguida. Ya tenía sospechas de suciedad en cualquier cosa de la casa, la cama no era muy cómoda y se escuchaba todo cuando el resto de huéspedes subía o bajaba las escaleras. Pagué bastante dinero por 2 noches, un dinero que no merecía en absoluto este alojamiento.

When you step out the front door and just wow! There is the full view of the Cathedral. Inside the apartment very clean, very nice. Great shower. And air con supplied, a nice surprise as this August week was very hot.

Nada. La estancia fue una auténtica pesadilla.

Nos asignaron el apartamento número 1, conectado directamente con una calle concurrida y enfrente de una terraza de café, lo que hacía imposible abrir las ventanas en un día de calor infernal, sin instalación de aire acondicionado y con un ventilador que sólo removía aire caliente. Ante nuestras quejas, el personal reconoció lo insostenible de nuestra situación pero no pudo ofrecernos ningún tipo de solución. Repasando el histórico de comentarios, hemos encontrado denuncias similares sobre el apartamento número 1 desde 2023, sin que se haya tomado ninguna medida para convertirlo en un lugar habitable.

Donne sur la place de la cathédrale, la vue est très belle et on est dans l'ambiance festive de l'arrivée des pélerins.

Remarque: pas d'ascenseur. Présence d'une baignoire dans la chambre sans rideau de douche ni un paravent pour un semblant d'intimité (il y a une salle de bain plus conventionnelle, c'est à dire avec une porte) également dans la chambre donc ce n'est pas rédibitoire, c'est juste curieux

Wij verbleven in The Shed, een vrijstaand appartement in de tuin. Heel leuk met veel glas. Dus ook wel warm. Er was gelukkig wel airco.

Tutto molto mediocre,letti scomodissimi e abbiamo avuto problemi con la chiave per entrare il 3 giorno e il numero dedicato ci ha risposto dopo quasi 2 ore per fortuna solucionando il problema,la pulizia non buona!!La cosa buona la posizione!Approfitto anche per confessare che i due ristorantini li sotto è meglio evitarli,sono di un servizio pessimo e si mangia male,li abbiamo provati entrambi e bocciati,salendo verso la cattedrale e sul viale principale sono migliori!

Leider war das Zimmer nicht ganz so sauber, Wie man es für diese Kategorie erwarten kann( staubige Armaturen, Küche mäßig ausgestattet und Salz in der Schublade verschüttet sowie Lippenabdruck am Glas des Vergastes sichtbar). Zusätzlich war der Abfluss der Dusche und des Waschbeckens nicht ganz frei.

We hebben geen opmerkingen over zaken die ons niet bevielen. Je hoort wel geluiden van het plein, als de ramen openstaan, wij hebben dat als fijne ruis ervaren. Als je airco belangrijk vindt, die is niet aanwezig.

Cleaning lady was there when we arrived so doors were open: she was quite unhelpful and left pretty quickly before we had the bathroom problem. Unable to access the bathroom. Another guest and I had to find a knife to unlock the door.

L´emplacement au pied de la cathédrale.

L´équipement plus que basique,une cuiller à café, 2 fourchettes, pas de théière, etc. L´impossibilité d´ouvrir les fenêtres car en accès direct sur la passage et la terrasse du restaurant mitoyen. Le contrôle d´accès en partie inopérant et inutile vu l´emplacement des fenêtres non protégées. La propreté, nous avons dû enlever les moutons de poussière ventilateur avant de pouvoir l´utiliser.

Идеальное расположение. Великолепный стильный современный домик с садом, роскошной ванной. Отличная передача ключей при заселении. Администрация, которая оперативно решила нашу проблему.

Необходимо решить проблему с клопами. Мы полгода ждали завершение пути Камино в этом красивом месте на главной площали Саньяго. Мечтали ужинать и завтркать в саду под колокольный звон... Но к сожалению, были вынуждены переехать ночевать в другое место.

Situato appena in basso, c' è un pochino caldo ma tutto sommato si sta bene. Accoglienza calorosa. Molto affascinante che si sentono le grida dei pellegrini. Ce lo siamo meritati.

Location was second to none. Could not get better in Santiago! The receptionist was so welcoming - he went above and beyond to give information about the city and places to visit!

La ubicación y cómo está acondicionado un apartamento antiguo

Quizá un poco incómodo porque no hay una separación clara entre habitaciones para dos personas pero una pareja o uno solo está genial

Las vistas son espectaculares, en pleno centro. El edificio es patrimonio y ha sido conservado y reformado. Esta muy bien equipado y tiene mucha luz natural y ventilación.

La luz dentro del baño es un poco deficiente, te duchas a oscuras y no hay ventilación. El apartamento esta muy bien ubicado, no obstante tiene como desventaja que tienes mucho ruido hasta altas horas y es un poco indiscreto ya que las ventanas quedan a la altura de la praza do obradoiro, llena de turistas todo el día. No tiene aire acondicionado y aunque en Galicia en general no lo necesitas si pillas mucho calor es algo incómodo.

We were excited to stay in the Shed as it looked great and was so close to the cathedral. In reality, it was very nice and modern and well furnished. The bathroom and especially the shower was super spacious and you basically felt like being outside, if you opened the curtains. There is also a bath tub in the "garden" which we used once to cool down, but first needed to clean it, as it was not used for a few days (weeks) before. Kitchen was well equipped and there was a seating outside to have breakfast or dinner.

The bed sheets had spots on them which we were sure are not from us as it looked like something sprayed it (grey paint like). Please be aware that staying in the shed in the summer means that you need to put the AC on to survive, it gets pretty hot inside. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods.

We did not stay so I can't comment on the hotel breakfast but the cafe downstairs (Raxoi) was excellent!

Horrible; it was NOT AT ALL clear when booking on booking.com that there would be NO air conditioning and NO privacy between 2 rooms for 4 people. asked for additional fan; had none working. no human available to speak with. Requested refund and denied

Nada,todo estuvo estupendo..No llegué a entender el funcionamiento de los Velux. Se abrían y cerraban aleatoriamente sin tocar nada. Quizás sea un motor con sensor de luz y se activen por ese motivo

Our apartment was above a noisy street with no way to get air except to leave the window open to the noise.

Amazing location and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Our host was always very quick to respond to messages with clear information.

Not much space and limited facilities and utensils for cooking. Not a problem as there is a great cafe next door.

Das war in vier Jahren unser 3. Aufenthalt hier. Diesmal war die Wohnung nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Wir hätten bei der Übergabe genauer hinsehen müssen. In allen Ecken und unterm Bett Staub, Harre und in den Küchenschubladen Brotkrümel.... alte Socken vom Vorbenutzer unterm Bett... Das Apartment ist insgesamt schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und rechtfertigt mittlerweile den Preis nicht mehr.

Escribí un par de veces al chat de la recepción, solicitando en formación y nunca recibí respuesta, entiendo que la recepción no está disponible durante las 24 horas pero si ves mensajes de inquilinos tarde lo lícito al menos es contestar aunque sea con un “qué tal la estancia”

Lo único bueno es la ubicación y el anfitrión. Lo demás nefasto.

We chose Infierno for our last stay upon completing the Camino. It was a solid choice, and we are not unhappy. Given, we’d shipped a bag from SJPP, it was great to have some room to sort out the re-pack. Also it was fantastic to have a washing machine so we could do our Camino clothes and wash the musty storage smell from stored luggage. We had a quick exit in the morning, so it was nice to take advantage of the fridge so we could have breakfast in the flat. Very nice interior courtyard. Lean out of the window for a spectacular view of the cathedral.

4pm check-in time was a bummer. We’d always been able to check-in around 2pm, this couple hours makes a difference when you are hot, sweaty, tired. VERY loud cafe underneath. Young men in a team celebration for hours - until 10pm? In the cathedral square there was a race event which had PA announcers until 11:30 PM. Loud even with earplugs. Likely if you choose here, there won’t be soccer team and a race event making noise. This was luck, and certainly not the properties fault. Coffee machine broken. Bed was bouncy, just so-so. For $300 you can definitely to a lot better.

This must surely be the best place to stay in Santiago. The apartment has a lovely balcony with huge windows that open into a view of the plaza and church. The room is large and comfortable and we could enjoy the views until late at night. The great restaurant at the bottom was a bonus.

It was perfect, perhaps to provide coffee in the room would be my only recommendation.

Yo reserve apartamento con vistas a la calle y me aloje en uno interior, me puse en contacto con el alojamiento y me respondieron desde una centralita en Barcelona sin darme ninguna solución. Al final me acomode en este, la basura sin tirar de los anteriores ocupantes, el microondas sucio de leche pegada por no hablar del polvo en toda la estancia. Me siento engañada por no haber podido hablar con el responsable, ya que el chekin es por correo decepcionante, después de hacer el camino y dormir en albergue, reserve este apartamento con mucho ilusión y me a depcionado mucho.

O atendimento dispensado a nós e a limpeza do apartamento. Td perfeito.

If you like being in the middle of the action at Santiago, this is your place. The apartment windows look right out on the Praza do Obradoiro and the Cathedral. Close to the pilgrim center and nice restaurants. Classic style in an open space but suited for a couple or very close friends. The communication and personal welcome are always appreciated.

Emplacement incroyable, hôtel avec beaucoup de charme, laveuse/sécheuse à même la chambre, douche exceptionnelle!

J’aurais aimé avoir des cups de café fournies pour pouvoir utiliser la machine fournie dans la chambre, pour le petit lit simple, je préférerais un petit escalier qui se glisse, plus confortable pour les pieds de pèlerins meurtris!

The location could not have been more perfect. At first I was worried about noise from the outdoor cafes just below our apartment, but there was no issue, none at all. The washing machine, right in the unit, was a Godsend! Communication with proprietor was seamless. I found this the perfect location to stay after finishing my Camino!

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Alhoewel er een wasmachine beschibaar was, is de rest van de uitrusting van het appartement echt minimaal, de koffiezet was bovendien stuk. Het appartement zelf is heel klein en er hangt een onaangename geur en er is veel lawaai van de bovenburen

The location was fabulous. Spacious apartment with comfy bed. There was a washing machine with tablet for one wash which was great.

There was a coffee machine but no pods. There wasn't a kettle and we couldn't get the hob to work. Boiled water in the microwave.

The place is beautiful and practically in the plaza. You can’t get any closer. Our host was very kind and showed us around a map for local places. This was a perfect finish to the Camiño.

The view is the cathedral is incredible, but there are people up late into the night and morning, which can be a bit loud.
