Super friendly owners and a great place to stay in Prince Albert.

Central location but yet quiet and peaceful, everything clean and spacious, comfortable beds, great braai area with Jude making us feel wonderfully welcome, providing some great tips on what to do in town

The base of the inside fireplace is a potential danger walking to and from the bathroom.

The host was very friendly and we felt very welcome. His recommendation of where to eat and what to do, was spot on.

Its location was perfect, the pool was most welcome and self catering option was also a bonus. It had all that was needed although it was very basic!

Very basic accomodation , bathroom door was a problem with it opening into the bathroom, broken light shade above the bed, outdoor lounging chairs were old and weren’t very inviting. TV wouldn’t work although she did offer to come over to try fix it.

It was clean, well located and had everything we needed. The AC and the pool made it very comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming with excellent recommendations

Hostess was beyond helpful and friendly. A large very comfortable cottage with two patios. Bedrooms were large and the beds are a good size and comfy. The cottage is very central and a two minute stroll to the nearest restaurant

I would have preferred more basics like spices etc But overall a fabulous experience

Second bedroom and bathroom not suitable for a couple. Will be more suitable for older children (not small children as it is not in the main unit itself).

Super central location, we could walk to all our Jazz concerts and restaurants

Every little detail was perfect

The welcome was so warm and helpful, the cottages were spotless and beautiful. We felt at home. The property is private, yet it's in the heart of the town. We will definitely be returning!

Prince Albert is hot during the summer. Additional fans are needed.

We are well received and was not left needed for anything. I would recommend for any couple that wants an open feel cottage with great amenities

Bartroom door should be a barn door. It’s like a Paris toilet, always struggle between toilet and toilet door. But is functional

June was more than a lovely host. She booked both dinners for us and had a lot of good and interesting ideas what to do. We loved our short stay.

Host was amazing. We phoned here when we were close to town and she met us at the property. She was extremely friendly and gave me a tour of the property. Check out was just as easy with one quick phone call.

Parking area is a little small if both units are occupied (especially for big bukkies), but we were fortunate enough to not have neighbors for the night.

Artistic, clean, thoughtful - eg classic collection of movies on DVD. Wonderful old woodstove which was set up before I arrived. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Nice outside area. Super pleasant host. Super location across the theatre.

Strange, if not unusual that guests are responsible to ensure that the basic dishes are done and packed away

Situated in the centre of town. Comfortable beds. Jude and George are very friendly hosts.

The second bedroom is not part of the cottage and has a seperate entrance which is not ideal for kids. Jude did offer to carry the beds into the main house but that would have been uncomfortable as the beds would be placed in a open living space. We were only told about this a day bedore arrival and i would not have booked the cottage should i have been aware of this. The cottage is a bit dated and the plumbing needs work as the taps are loose and kept falling off in the shower. Garden could be neater and daybed cleaner. There are no sattelite tv only dvds.

The Godin woodburning fireplace was a special treat. We also enjoyed the braai facilities.

Overall a lovely cottage but interior is a little dated. (I would suggest replacing the lampshade above the kitchen counter 😉)

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Your accommodation met all our expectations and more. We were so happy we have already booked again.

Showers and taps need a little attention

Great central location and very near to some fabulous restaurants. Hosts Jude and Brian were very welcoming and so informative about the local area and great suggestions on what to do and where to eat!

Being in the heart of Prince Albert was brilliant. The studio & adjoining apartment share a pool, so refreshing on a hot day. Super comfy bed with air con & fans should you need it.

Be aware that if the adjoining room is booked you will have little privacy in the outside terrace area. The pool will also be shared by them.

Jude is a super host! Our cottage was so cute. Absolutely lovely stay.

Home away from home. sufficient kitchen equipment to satisfy anyone. Welcoming hostess Jude was gracious and full of tips for eats drinks and even showtime! In the middle of town -easy walking distance to the town, but vey quiet at night. A lovely splash pool is welcoming on a humid day!! Will definitely like to stay again but maybe next time 2 nights!! Safe on sight parking. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

It was in a good location, spacious, well decorated, and clean, although it doesn't look like the above picture. The furniture is different. The bedding and mattress were good.

I didn't like the aggressive intolerance of the British owners when we were not immediately ready to leave at 10 am, which I btw find very early, especially as 11am or noon is normally the norm. We were 2 people and hardly used the place. Nothing much to clean. Didn't even use all the beds in the 4 bed apartment. I tried to explain why we were not a 100% ready, but it was met with shocking aggression and defensiveness. The husband totally ignored us, even after we greeted them. They stood around and over us, like we were criminals, until we left!! We have NEVER been treated like this, EVER!! It totally spoiled our stay and memories of Prince Albert. South Africa and especially The Karoo is known for the hospitality of its people (I am from the Karoo, living in America now), and this is not how you treat people here. Basic manners and common decency go a long way, especially in the hospitality industry. Plus, we were met with intense anxiety about their water and geyser issues, which we understood. Also, if you don't rent both apartments, there's a total lack of privacy in the small courtyard. Luckily, the other people were decent and quiet, who knew how to be considered as well.

location perfect for exploring the many shops and also the museum. There is a nice little private outside area. Jude was informative and friendly.

Everything was fine

Quiet, nice kitchen with relevant amenities, comfy bed (I took the single), wifi worked well for my work. I was too busy to 'lounge' about and enjoy the couches and outside bed. That's a great addition to staying inside.

No complaints, except the toilet bowl in the smaller, two single bed room, would only fill to half, and I had to top it up to make it a proper flush. Perhaps needs to be adjusted to fill to three quarters? Also, warm water in the shower has to run long to get hot.... not wise in a water stressed Karoo. Get a small geyser that makes shower hot immediately, like in the smaller wash basin
