I did not comment on "how romantic" the accommodation is, because some rooms had less privacy than we had. Our room was certainly romantic. We chose not to have breakfast at the Prince Albert Country Stay but only because we had one morning only and a friend was keen for us to have breakfast at a particular restaurant further down the road.

Colleen had a genuine interest in ensuring we would have a wonderful stay with her. She arranged dinner bookings and had a wealth of knowledge about Prince Albert and surrounds. We will definitely come back.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2025Colleen and her amazing staff were the best! What a beautiful place, we loved the wild garden filled with sunflowers, fruit trees and the most exquisite Bougainvilleas. The pool is so welcoming and especially in the heat of summer. Colleen when out of her way to make our stay so special, she suggested and booked restaurants for us (Prince Albert Cafe served the best Karoo Lamb Shank we have ever tasted). There is also antiques for sale in the front cafe and it was so interesting to look at all the interesting unique treasures. I can't recommend The Prince Albert Country Stay enough, we will be back to enjoy this little bit of magic again!

Stunning rooms and outside area with a pool and the most beautiful garden to enjoy a drink or have breakfast. Conveniently located in the main road and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was the perfect way to end our roadtrip and if you are ever in Prince Albert I highly recommend staying here. It was so peaceful and relaxing, wish I could have stayed longer.

The patio was just perfect to relax and enjoy the garden with a nice cold drink. We also had a delicious breakfast on the patio. Our en-suite was also super comfortable and spacious. To top it off Colleen was the best…so caring and hospitable. We will only stay here now in the future!
