We stayed here for the eclipse when Zaragoza was packed, and it was a lovely hotel. AC was amazing, the FREE mini fridge that was restocked every day with delicious juices (and water and beer) was an added perk. Bed super comfy, good TV options during our siestas, cool view from the rooftop pool area (small pool but that is on par for Spain even with our friends' super luxury hotel in Barcelona). Bathroom offered privacy unlike some European places, though a smaller shower that got water everywhere, but also common. Everyone spoke English well enough for us to communicate. Very walkable to the busier part of the city for shopping and dining and exploring the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and all of that. Cabs/ubers were tricky during our time here so we ended up walking most places, but the front desk got us a cab to the train station that was super fast and convenient. Would totally stay at a Melia again.

I just wanted some coffee and couldn't get any from the bar/restaurant during off hours, so had to leave the hotel for things like that.

Petit déjeuner varié et très beau rooftop pour le repas du soir. Chambre supérieure magnifique avec un literie excellente.

Nonchalance du personnel du bar aussi bien au rez-de-chaussée lors du petit déjeuner qu'au rooftop en journée. Lors de notre passage à la piscine, mon mari a dû attendre 30 minutes pour commander 2 boissons qui lui ont été fournies avec des verres et il s'est ensuite vu refuser de retourner à la piscine avec les consommations car seuls les gobelets sont autorisés. Pourquoi ne pas lui avoir directement fournis des gobelets en papier directement au lieu de verres? Lors de nos 5 petits déjeuners, nous avons constaté que les tables n'étaient pas débarrassées et trouver une table dressée relevait du défi et ce quelque soit l'heure. Nous descendions entre 9h00 et 10h00.

El desayuno tiene carencias importantes de un 4*: no había leche de avena suficiente, no hay nada verdura/hortalizas crudas (véase pepino, tomate a rodajas), no hay ni un letrero de las cosas y por tanto los alérgenos búscate la vida...); por otro lado nunca había ido a un Innside en que el personal del desayuno deje las mesas sin arreglar/recoger más de 1h, un auténtico desastre en ese sentido... por lo demás genial.

Habitaciones muy amplias, súper limpias y con todas las comodidades. Viajamos en pareja y elegimos este hotel porque es Pet Friendy, y llevamos a nuestra perrita teckel que fue tratada como un huésped más, con su cama, comedero, bebedero, etc La piscina del roof top todo un alivio para el calor del verano en Zaragoza. Así como la terraza para almorzar con buenas vistas y a buen precio.

Quizás un poco elevado el precio de las mascotas, 60€/noche.

Hotel excelente: boa localização, funcionários amigáveis. O quarto estava super limpo, a cama era muito confortável, ótimos travesseiros. Ficamos num quarto super amplo, banheira limpa. Tinha ótimos produtos de higiene e sais de banho. O hotel deixa água, suco e cerveja de oferta no minibar do quarto. A duche/chuveiro tem pressão de água bem forte e é bem quentinha.

As luzes do quarto tem um timer e sensores de movimento para evitar luzes ligadas desnecessárias, porém o ar condicionado tambem estava programado dessa forma e acavabava por desligar no meio da noite o que deixava o quarto quente. O box do chuveiro vazava água para fora do banheiro.

Clean rooms, basic but service upon check in was painfully slow. We got there at 6 pm. A front desk person checked us in then disappeared to the back of the counter and didn’t come back and left our passport on the table. Another guy checking another couple apologized and did check us in but it’s weird cause it wasn’t busy and there was only one other couple checking in at the same time. Would understand if it was busy. Also the staff was indifferent to us like we were an inconvenience. Would recommend to spend time somewhere else where they appreciate your business. I understand services are slow in Spain and don’t mind it specially if it’s obviously busy but this is a little ridiculous.

La habitación triple estuvo genial Aunque la cama supletoria sonaba y no era miy comoda ... La cama grande era muy grande y muy comoda Tuvieron un detalle (pequeño obsequio) con mi hijo de 4 años que lo hizo feliz La piscina impecable El niño la tuvo sólo para El La atención siempre fue perfecta de cada personal. La ubicación y el trato del personal. La habitacion muy moderna.

La habitación tenia un sofa cama para la tercera persona y no era muy comodo, tambien era para una persona mayor, creo que en ese tipo de habitacion cabe perfectamente una cama individual normal y no un sofa cama. Del buffet habia algun producto de supermercado que hubiese preferido que fuese de panaderia, mas natural y sabroso.

Muito confortável, com todas as comodidades. O restaurante serve boas refeições, de confecção com qualidade, e tem bom pequeno almoço. A localização é excelente, perto do centro, e com acessos fáceis para entrar e sair da cidade. O estacionamento da cidade não pertence ao hotel, mas é fácil estacionar no subterrâneo com saida quase direta para o hotel, que tem ligeiro desconto para os hóspedes.

The property is excellently located and clean and spacious. The rooftop pool is a delight.

Two main issues. Yes it is pet friendly. But the cost is €60/pet/night. This is absolutely absurd charges. Our pets cost us more than the humans. It's totally disproportionate to the pricing of the hotel. You have to dig into the fine print to discover this charge as elsewhere on the site it's just says some charges are applicable. Any other hotel I've ever stayed at in a similar budget charges €12-24 per pet and often just for the whole stay. Not per night. Secondly the rooftop pool has a bizarre but understandable policy that if the pool is full anyone staying more than an hour will be moved on. In principle this is fair. However it is applied at the whim of whoever is at the pool. Myself and my partners who are obviously gay were moved on from the pool and other guests pointed out they had been there far longer than us and it looked as though we were being singled out because we are gay. Note we were just sat reading and chatting, we don't do PDAs in straight venues as we prefer not to bring unwanted attention. At first we were told we would have to vacate the roof entirely. Then after some discussion just the sun loungers and we could stay at the bar. During the next hour people came and went but no one else was asked to leave and as the space quietened down we were not invited back to the loungers. I complained about both these issues at the time. The extortionate pet charge and what left us (and other guests) saying asking us to move had more than a whiff of homophobia. Given the opportunity to rectify this, the manager refunded the charge for one pet. Honestly not enough.

La primera noche que cogimos la cogimos a un precio muy caro, 250€ la noche…

grande chambre, très propre, tous les décorations sont très mignonnes, les lits sont très confortable. Tous sont neufs, bien Situé en plein centre-ville, Le personnel de la réception était très accueillant. Ils parlaient anglais et français à nous, toujours nous aidaient. La climatisation est hyper bien!!!!

Breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.

Our room was facing an inner courtyard, with noisy machines. There was a dog in a room next door that barked both during siesta time and also early in the morning. A red light would light the room when you move. All of these things would be ok in a cheaper hotel, but not what you expect in a Meliá.

The pool and most of the staff were brilliant. Breakfast was really good although the coffee machines made warm coffee NOT hot. You can request coffees like cappuccino at the counter and omelettes/rustic bread with tomato and garlic (pan con tomato).

Moved rooms twice for first for flooding second for noise from floor above. Only 3 floors of rooms and 4th 5th etc are private apartments

It is classed as a dog friendly hotel and they give you a towel (although not allowed to wash your dog) and treats and a chew toy but charge you €60 a night for the dog! We were so so shocked !! Surcharges may apply is the only info on booking.com! BE AWARE!

Cool and contemporary property with large well appointed rooms- the complimentary drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. Check in was friendly,quick and helpful.The food in the restaurant was very good. Parking was in the car park below the hotel with a discounted cost via hotel reception. The attractive rooftop pool and bar was a real bonus for a city centre hotel. The hotel location was also good with many sights within walking distance.

Nothing really except the prohibitive cost of breakfast - we opted for a cafe round the corner.

Las instalaciones, todo perfecto. Salvo las escaleras que hay nada más entrar al hotel. Tiene ascensor para salvarlas.

Que para hacer la reserva o preguntar algo, te ponen con una locución, después hablas con otra persona que gestiona tu reserva, y te vuelven a pasar con una 3° persona, que por fin te resuelve una pequeña duda. Arreglenlo, por favor.

La piscina de la terraza es excepcional. El personal es muy amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar, creando una estancia muy agradable.

Let me preface this review this is a nice hotel, brilliant location and decent value. However the staff and management need to work on their interaction with customers. The rooftop pool was closed (a reason we booked the hotel), whilst this was unfortunate leaving it to the pool guy to have to explain to upset customers was really bad management. A simple sign at receptin would have stopped any issues. When we complained being told in a very passive aggressive manner we could leave free of charge and go elsewhere instead of trying to remedy the situation by the manager was really bad form. Such a shame that it put a stain on an otherwise brilliant stay in the beautiful city of Zaragoza If travelling by car and needing an EV charger they have a wenea station which is very easy to use. To avoid confusion the car park entrance is on the footpath to the right of the hotel entrance. Dont go down into the undergrund (public) car park.

La habitación y las estancias de zonas comunes. Desayuno muy completo y de calidad.

El personal, con poco ánimo de trabajar, muy aséptico, algunos ni contestaban a los buenos días... Tanto camareros como recepcionistas. Estuvimos esperando 10 minutos de pie en la zona de bar de la azotea por la cuenta, con tres personas en el bar... un desastre.

Es la segunda vez que voy y el personal es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. Esta vez me quedé en una habitación más grande con bañera. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, en el centro cerca de lugares de interés para ir de compras, q comer y de entretenimiento.

El hotel es muy bonito, la atención en recepción es genial, con Maria y Jose Antonio. La habitación incluye gratis las bebidas del frigobar, así como las pantuflas y albornoz. Es amplia y cuenta con sofacama. La piscina muy bien y la atención en la piscina genial también.

El restaurant Lateral es PÉSIMO, no solo la atención es mala sino que hay poco servicio, la misma persona que atiene en el Restaurant del Lobby, está en el del Rooftop. El desayuno muy sencillo para el costo. En una oportunidad pedimos un plato en el rooftop y aún lo estamos esperando, nos trajeron un plato que no pedimos, y el otro venia con contaminación cruzada, en un coctel de langostinos venia un pedazo de Ventresca NEGRA entre la salsa, la verdad un servicio pésimo y descuidado.

This is a modern hotel, well-located, within 10-15 minutes walk from the beautiful old center of Zaragoza. Good aesthetics; very roomy bathroom with tub. The breakfast buffet was good with an extensive selection. There is a bar and a swimming pool on the rooftop which was a nice place to have a drink in the late afternoons. The reception staff were helpful and efficient.

The rooftop swimming pool is very small and needs to be booked in advance, with the result that we were unable to try the pool. The rooftop bar service was a bit erratic.

Elegimos el hotel por disponer de piscina y terraza en la azotea. Sin embargo, a pesar de estar a 39º el día de nuestra llegada, no se permitía el acceso ni a la terraza y la piscina. Al día siguiente, sí, pero solo a partir de las 11AM. Con lo que no pudimos disfrutar de las instalaciones.

Habitaciones espaciosas, de moderno diseño y lleno pequeños detalles (e.g., productos del minibar gratuitos, toallas muy suaves, iluminación...). Cerca de zona residencial con bares y restaurantes y a 10 min a pie de la zona comercial y el casco antiguo. Bonitas zonas comunes, restaurante y rooftop bar.

No se puede hacer la reserva directamente en el hotel, solo a través de booking o su página web.

Very well situated to discover the old center of Zaragoza. Food (breakfast & dinner) was very good. Comfortable bedding. Personnel are super friendly.

The rooms facing the street are noisy. We travelled with a dog and were charged 60 € per night. For that price, we would have expected a little something for the dog in the room but found nothing. The swimming pool does not open until 1st of June, that could be clearly stated on the website especially when the picture of the rooftop bar and swimming pool is one of the first pictures you see on the website. When we stayed 2 years ago, the hotel would offer a discount on the inside parking opposite. That is no longer the case. One day, our room was not looked after until 16.00. Not what you expect in a 4*.

Fijn hotel, in het centrum. Kamer was erg schoon en gratis gebruik van de minibar. Ook het eten in het restaurant was erg goed. Manier van bordje draaien om kamer wel/niet schoon te maken vonden wij erg fijn.

Helaas was bij ons het zwembad nog niet open, ondanks dat het al gevuld was én mooi weer.

Buena atención del personal, buena limpieza, sensacional la terraza de la azotea y buena ubicación. A pesar de no estar en todo el centro, en cinco minutos estás en la arteria principal, la zona de bares, los comercios, etc

Por poner un pero, la habitación que nos dieron daba a la zona donde estaban los equipos de aire acondicionado y se oía algo de ruido. Otra cosa, es que la almohada era demasiado blanda, aunque esto es algo personal e intrascendente.

I loved the room & the hotel however when a hotel says it has air conditioning & the room temperature is set at 23C then this is a lie. We ended up asking for help & the response was them giving us a fan to help cool the room down but 23C setting when it’s 34C outside is unforgivable. The website pool pictures have chairs by the pool but there were none when we visited, another misrepresentation. The pool area is a restaurant with a pool with no furniture by it. Not inviting at all. Nice welcome & nice gift in room as I have Silver Melia status. Lovely hotel for a winter visit, close to all you want to see.
