La struttura più che un hotel è quasi una casa da famiglia, curata in ogni dettaglio, pulitissima. Le camere sono spaziose e luminose e anche se piu spartane rispetto le grandi catene 5 stelle, sono curatissime! Il giovane Aju ti accoglie dal primo momento e ti coccola, aiutandoti in ogni cosa! Bellissima la terrazza per la colazione (semplice ma buonissima) dove su richiesta viene servita anche la cena. Abbiamo vissuto due giorni di India vera!

From the moment we walked through the door we felt very welcome by all of the staff members. We stayed 6 nights and we were made to feel as if it was our home. The staff really made our stay exceptional. The food cooked for us was always delicious with lots of options. We did the desert safari and stayed the night meaning we left our bags at the hotel which were all safe. The whole hotel was very clean also with a beautiful roof terrace with great views of the fort . Would highly recommend anyone to stay here and hope to again one day. Thank you again so much! We had a great time ! :)

Prezzo un po’ elevato per i servizi che offre. Manca il bollitore per il the in camera. Mancano le zanzariere alle finestre e ci sono le zanzare.

Nos encantó la hospitalidad del servicio, las habitaciones son preciosas,el desayuno: crepes, fruta fresca y el café con leche es fabuloso, las vistas de la terraza, la ubicación es perfecta! Además te recomiendo contratar con ellos el tour al desierto, fue una experiencia única y auténtica, comer allí mirando las estrellas( fue la mejor comida del viaje y cero picante). 100% recomendable !

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie liegt in der Nähe des Forts und kann bequem per Fuß oder TukTuk erreicht werden. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Wüstentour mit Kamelritt über das Hotel gebucht. Unser Guide Papu hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt aber alles gut in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Unterkunft hat sehr viel Charm. Ein besonderes Erlebniss war die von der Unterkunft organisierte Wüstentour. Private Tour zu 4 mit Übernachtung in der Thar Wüste. Alle unglaublich freundlich und auch die Kamele werden sehr gut behandelt. Großes Dankeschön für dieses Erlebniss.

La terrasse avec vue sur le fort, l'ensemble de l'équipe, plus particulièrement le réceptionniste qui était soucieux de savoir comment nous allions et notre chauffeur pour le safari qui s'est montré très agréable , parlant même quelques mots de français.

À notre arrivée, l'accueil a paru un peu froid, surtout de la part de l'un des membres de l'équipe, qui, tout de suite nous a mis le registre sous les yeux, sans un mot de plus.. Heureusement son collègue s'est montré tout de suite plus aimable et s'est proposé de nous monter nos valises, sans que nous le demandions. Bref parfois un sourire suffirait...

Magnifique endroit. Très calme, dans un cadre exceptionnel. L'extérieur de paye pas de mines mais c'est vraiment un bon hôtel

Sehr saubere und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Gute Matratze. Frühstück fanden wir im Verhältnis zu teuer, deshalb waren wir wo anders he frühstückt. Bier auf der Dachterrasse war vom Preis völlig ok und mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Fort. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The team was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable even offering rides when needed. It had a warm, home like atmosphere. When the weather turned cold, they brought a space heater to my room without hesitation. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We travelled around Rajasthan for 10 days and Secret House was by far the nicest place we stayed in during our trip. The staff had a great attention to details, they were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. They advised us the best they could and were honest all along. Special thanks to Aggu which was very nice, transparent and ready to help out. Rooms are clean, modern, stylish and charming. Food is limited but everything is fresh and delicious. Breakfast and coffee went beyond expectations. Staff speaks perfect english.

Location seems rural but close to everything worth visiting in Jaisalmer.

Staff were extremely helpful, big shout out the Aju, good recommendations for eating out and sites to visit. Location is not bad at all 10mins to the fort.

Didn’t manage to regulate the hot water.

- The location is slightly outside of the old town/city centre. It taks around 10 mins to walk to the fort. But to my surprise, this route is probably my favorite part of my visit to Jaisalmer - passing by local markets and see the local life. - The guesthouse and the room were absolutely clean. - The rooftop terrace has an amazing view to the Fort. Having breakfast there was a joy. - It offers paid laundry service. It was straightforward and easy. Overall 10/10!

The secret house is as good as the reviews. It’s clean, comfortable and a great location. Nairu the owner is gentle and a good host, he even let us check out late in the day as we had a night bus to catch. Highly recommend.

Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie om Jaisalmer te verkennen. Het is er heel schoon, heerlijke bedden en een zeer aardige eigenaar die altijd wilt helpen. Tijdens het goede ontbijt is kan je genieten van de omgeving vanaf het prachtige dakterras. We hebben ook vanuit dit hotel de overnachting Safari in de dessert gedaan. Dat was goed georganiseerd, er werd heerlijk gekookt in de dessert en in slaap gevallen onder de sterrenhemel.

Sweet hotel with very nice and helpful staff. They arranged some friendly tuktuk drivers for us to the lake & to Bada Bagh +airport taxi; made restaurant recommendations too. Eggs, toast, pancakes, fruit & plentiful coffee for breakfast. Cute dining area on the roof. Spare, tastefully furnished rooms. Convenient location.

What an amazing place, so clean, such a nice smell, such nice people, what a roofterras, what cosy rooms. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with you! They organised a desert safari tour for us with a stay overnight, which was amazing, and we could use a room afterwards to shower. Thank you for having us! Small cozy hotel with nicely decorated rooms and western-style bathroom (no shower curtain though and poor water pressure in the shower!). Small rooftop restaurant available for lunch/dinner with stunning fort and city views. Good continental breakfast available for INR 600 per person (fruit, coffee / tea, freshly made omelette and pancakes, toasts…). Staff was really friendly and helpful! They actively replied to our messages on the Booking chat and helped us arranging ground transportation. They were very accommodating when our plans changed last minute and we had to cancel a taxi from the train station. We paid the hotel and meals by card upon check-out. Good wifi signal.

The hotel is an approx. 15 min walk to the fort entrance. However, the walk to the fort may feel a bit challenging due to the heavy traffic and street animals (cows, dogs, goats…). If preferred, it is really easy to get a rickshaw on the Main Street near the hotel (INR 200-300). Also, in the single room we booked, it was not posible to close the window curtain due to the position of the bed - bring an eye mask to help with this!

Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Gleich am Eingang werden die Schuhe ausgezogen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt (Schwimmen indoor und Outdoor, Enfield geliehen, Empfehlungen zum Essen, Yoga..). Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und man hat einen tollen Blick über die Stadt

Una joya en Jaisalmer. El hotel es precioso, no le falta detalle. Habitaciones muy amplias, con una decoración exquisita y un baño maravilloso. Además cuenta con un rooftop increíble donde desayunar y cenar o pasar un relajante rato observando el precioso fuerte. Todo, el hotel es maravilloso el dueño desde el primer momento te hace sentir como en casa, nos dedicó un maravilloso tiempo comentando la cultura e historia de la ciudad.habla español. Decoración maravillosa con unas vistas en la azotea donde desayunar increíbles.el mejor hotel en el que he estado en toda mi visita por la India y el más limpio (muy importante a tener en cuenta) sin duda repetiría sin pensarlo. Se descansa muy bien en una calle muy tranquila pero cerca del fuerte de Jaisalmer. Gracias Naru por hacernos la estancia tan cómoda y tan especial.

Ein wahres Schmuckstück!! Viel Liebe zum Detail und dazu kommt die tolle Aussicht von der Rooftopterrasse. Nicht zu vergessen ist das Superservice. Wir haben die Wüstentour gemacht, Ergebnis : Besser geht nicht, wenn man das Ursprüngliche und die Natur liebt!

Palazzo comodo per raggiungere a piedi tutti i punti di interesse. Interni molto ben curati e arredati con gusto. Molto pulito. Terrazzo all’ultimo piano con bellissima vista sul forte dove fare colazione e cenare. Personale molto gentile. Proprietario molto disponibile a consigliare e proporre qualsiasi attività da svolgere in città e anche nel deserto. Ottima accoglienza. Assolutamente consigliato.

La struttura è stupenda, e l’arredamento è studiato in ogni suo particolare. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere la proprietaria dell’hotel che è stata gentilissima e premurosa. La terrazza per cena e colazione merita il viaggio!

The safari tour was the best - its a private safari in a small desert with almost no one around and the experience was so unique and real, we could not ask for more. Lalu and Bapo and also the one who was with the camels where sooo nice, we had the best food at the camp fire, all fresh! The terrace of the hotel is so nice to hang out and the staff in general is great! Location was also great, like 20 minute to the fort but its a nice walk

Great location and building with roof retrace overlooking the town and fort. Just few minutes walk from the fort and the main market. Good desert trip with camel ride at sunset.

The Secret House is a stylishly decorated little hotel with excellent, modern amenities. I was feeling unwell when we reached Jaisalmer and it was the perfect place to rest in comfort. It is also wonderfully quiet, a block away from the main road.

The hotel is a little far from the fort, a 20 minute walj, though this really wasnt a problem. We loved our stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and beautiful and they have a lovely rooftop to enjoy their delicious food. I would recommend staying here.

Such a luxurious place. We really enjoyed the stay. The location is a little glitch because it is slightly inside a little street from the main road which was tagged on maps.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in India. The staff is super kind and helpful, they gave us some good recommendations. The room are nice and there is a very nice design touch all over the place. Super clean and it has a beautiful terrace.

Beautifully appointed, loved the gorgeous hardware, very clean, bathrobes provided in bath. Lovely rooftop for a delicious omelet breakfast with great city view. Staff was kind and very responsive. AC and wifi good.

Some dog noise at night but —not their fault! I just put in earplugs. Short alley to negotiate off main street( 1 minute walk) may include a cow encounter!

This has been absolutely the best hotel we stayed during our travel in Rajasthan. So clean and well furnished, it looks like a comfortable and well designed apartment bedroom more than just an hotel, which is absolutely a plus for us! We had a very good breakfast (even with moka, you know, as Italians we appreciate that a lot!) in the wonderful rooftop terrace, with a beautiful view of Jaisalmer! We totally recommend it!

The desert safari was not as good as we thought. There is no more desert, the first stop was really unpleasant. Tha camel ride was very turistic and, again, not in the desert (it looks like a savana). The dinner was nice.

L’hotel è gestito da un indiano che ha sposato una spagnola e il suo gusto nell’’arredamento si vede in tutto l’hotel, veramente molto carino mantenendo fede allo stile indiano. Abbiamo anche cenato sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista del forte prendendo un pollo al limone non piccante perfetto dopo tanti giorni di cucina speziata. Anche la pulizia è ai livelli europei, una rarità in India. Unica pecca la stradina per arrivarci ma siamo in India e le strade sono queste.

As a couple traveler who has been in India for just over 6 weeks The Secret House was exactly what we wanted.....somewhere to relax and recharge before the next onslaught of travelling around India. The staff were brilliant, the room (including shower) was spotlessly clean with a very very comfortable bed, very well done naru and Aju, definitely a 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you. Excellent breakfast and food at the nice rooftop restaurant which also offers a nice view over Jaisalmer Fort. Always hot water in the shower. Wi-fi worked very well. Comfortable bed. Wonderful Hotel in Jaisalmer. Just when we arrived we were warmly welcomed and received a free upgrade of the room. The rooms were beautiful, nice decoration, very clean, big room and bed. The rooftop terrace with the restaurant was amazing. The hotel staff was always around and attentive, they gave us a city map and explained all the things one can do without being pushy. We enjoyed our stay very much, would definitely come back. best location everything is walking distance and its really really clean all Hotel
