Bel hôtel bien situé, a la fois au calme mais proche du fort. Avec un accueil chaleureux et un restaurant très bon! J’ai eu la chance de rencontrer Dheeraj qui m’a fait découvrir différents endroits de la ville Une excursion dans le désert exceptionnelle !

A really excellent place to stay, the room was comfortable and it has a lovely open sitting area with food and bar that is super relaxed. Manu the owner is so helpful, we got picked up from our bus drop off and also dropped off at 5:30 am. They also run a short desert tour with a camel ride freshly cooked food and time to watch the sun go down and the stars come out. Arjun was an excellent driver and Santos whipped up a great meal and looked after us only getting back late. Can't recommend this enough.

Had a lovely one night desert safari with Hotel Pol Haveli. The guides couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. It was very relaxing and the view of the stars was amazing.

The hotel is clean and located right in the heart of the city, which makes everything easily accessible. But the real highlight is the owner, Mannu bhai. He is extremely helpful and genuinely makes every guest feel at home. His warmth and hospitality truly set this place apart. Highly recommende

Pol Haveli is the best place for families and couples or just groups of friends. We spent a day here. The owner of the hotel, Mannu Bhai, is a wonderful person. He is ready to organize or suggest all possible helpful tips about how to move in Jsisalmer/ and a tour to the Sam Dunes. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back and recommend the hotel to other friends. The food was great; we had dinner in the restaurant and lunch on the hotel rooftop. It was just fantastic. We loved relaxing on the rooftop as well as chilling in the open air restaurant. On our last night there, live music was provided and it was the best group we had seen in our two weeks of travel! The owners are so kind and generous, doing everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 😊

The location feels a bit isolated, and if I had been traveling alone I don’t know if I would have felt safe. The entrance is a bit dark, improved lighting will make it feel more welcoming!

Amazing rooftop with spectacular view of the city. The staff was very attentive, made a lovely bonfire for New Year’s and ensured we had everything we needed. Also, water allowed for very hot shower which was great given it was quite chilly. Easy organization of pick-up/airport service!

Despite the above, we could not enjoy our stay as much due to lacking cleanliness. It seemed like the room and common areas get cleaned superficially but not thoroughly - bed linen with hair, tiles/mirror in bathroom with stains, dining area somewhat dirty, e.g. dirty/used tea cups, spoon, glass, etc. Also, we asked twice about city tour and NYE options via WhatsApp with no reply.

Die Hosts von Pol Haveli sind ganz fantastisch. Sie haben uns mit allem geholfen. Postkarten einwerfen/warme Kleidung für die Safari finden/ bestellen von Rikshas und Taxis/ Flughafen-Abholung/ Wäscheservice/ Wüstensafari. Die Zimmer und die Unterkunft sind wunderschön mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Betten waren bequem und die Bettdecken die gemütlichsten und saubersten auf unserer Indienreise. Wir haben sogar ein upgrade für ein größeres Zimmer bekommen und konnten spontan länger bleiben. Das Essen im Restaurant ist auch sehr lecker und günstig. Der Chai und das Alooh Paratha waren besonders lecker, und man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Die Safaritour von Pol haveli war eines der Highlights auf unserer Indienreise. Die ganze crew und vor allem auch die Kamele waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das essen in den Dünen am Lagerfeuer war sehr lecker und wir hatten eine besondere Zeit. Der Müll wurde auch wieder mitgenommen und entsorgt, um die Wüste sauber zu halten. Fahrt unbedingt nach Jaisalmeer und besucht Manu im Pol Haveli und seine nette Familie.

Wir haben (leider) die wedding season erwischt. Indische Hochzeiten sind sehr laut. Aber auch aufregend!

The staff was incredibly friendly, always smiling, always on point to help you with anything and very patient. They make your whole stay so uncomplicated. They offer free pick up/drop off from the train and bus station, depending on availability you can check in early or check out late. Free room upgrade for us. Also they organise different dessert safari tours with fair prices. The food was amazing. We spent most of our time in the beautiful open restaurant space with the most relaxing atmosphere. The location is great. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks to the team for everything.

hotel pol haveli was a really beautiful and nice place to stay. the building itself is a pretty haveli with a lot of character. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. the rooftop restaurant was a great spot to chill, with good food and drinks & some company. the people working there were super friendly and helpful, always making sure everything was fine and hanging out with the guests. they also organized an overnight desert safari, which was honestly the best part. having dinner in the dunes, and sleeping under the stars was such a cool experience. overall, pol haveli had really good vibes. it’s a great place if you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming stay in jaisalmer with nice people and an awesome desert trip. would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Pol Haveli. Everyone was extremely friendly and they tried to make the time for us as nice, as possible. The Room was amazing with clean facilitys and the Roof top view had been awesome. The meals at the Restaurant are also really tasty, even if lots of it are influenced by european kitchen. We highly recommend to do the non touristic desert Jeep Safari with the night under the Stars. We are really happy that we had this experience with Dinar and his friend who brought us an unforgettable time. The Hosts of the Hotel Made it possible, that we could use our Room afterwards until the evening when our Nightbus was leaving Jaisalmer, so we could take a shower and a Rest before leaving.

The staff at this family-run hotel are very generous and will support you during your visit to the stunning city of Jaisalmer. We arrived at 5am and not only was a free transfer arranged, but we were allowed to rest on arrival in a spare room free of charge several hours before we were due to check in. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is delicious (good breakfast pancakes, and some really good curries - we recommend the paneer butter masala and palak paneer in particular). The location is easy walking distance to the Fort (15 minute stroll) and close to some markets that are good value. You can also organise a non-touristic desert safari through the hotel, which we did. This was good value, fun, and included a camel ride and sleeping on the warm desert sand under the stars in the Thar Desert. This was a memorable experience and would recommend to those who are intrepid and keen to get out of their comfort zone. We can wholeheartedly recommend Pol Haveli for the delicious food, and generous staff who are always keen to help. A big thanks to Harry for showing us around Jaisalmer, and to Hunni for his delicious cooking. We hope to return one day.

Sleeping under the stars is amazing but by definition means you'll be around friendly stray dogs and other wildlife. We recommend you consider what level of luxury you will need before setting off - the set up is quite basic, just some old blankets to keep you warm on the desert sand.

What a pleasant stay! Highly recommended. Spacious rooms and the most important thing- Mr. Anna and Mr. Manu... they took care of everything. Whatever help I needed they provided. Went extra miles to provide the best service. You dont have to worry or think about anything when they are with you. Great view and good food on the rooftop restaurant. Would definitely come again.

The property is a lovely Haveli. Our room was small ( we also added an extra single bed which was no trouble for the staff) and clean with good condition linen and towels. The Haveli is fairly small which gives it a nice feel. The restaurant upstairs has a good menu and the breakfast is great. It has a good quiet location with a short walk to get to the main road for tuc tuc to the Fort etc. But what makes this place really nice is the owner Manu. He is incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He’s also very welcoming, friendly and kind.

No pillow covers on arrival. Both days no water supply in room. Stops midway in shower. Car has to be parked away and walk. Too narrow street and verymuch uncomfortable to walk around

The restaurant was a really cool area to relax. There was a nice breeze blowing through the open windows and areas to lay down that overlooked the town.

Our stay was really great and the host Manu helped us with everything. The room was very nice and the hotel had also a terrace with a beautiful view of the fort. We did the safari organized by Pol Haveli, which we really recommended. It was a non touristic one and you can really experience the life of desert men.

The room and the sheets were ok but could have been cleaner. In addition to this, Pol Haveli is not inside the fort, but actually you can get there by 10 min walk, which was totally fine for us. Overall, also given the price paid, I really really recommend the hotel and the safari!

I have no word to say how I felt good in Poli Haveli Hotel. It is beautiful place but what make it wonderful is the staff. Manu made me feel as a family member. Isword the manager is tireless and all time attentive to my needs. Ali is the best safari guide I could desire to go in the desert. If I will come in Jaisalmer 100 time I will choose the same hotel with no any doubts. Thank you for your passion in your work

Really nice hotel, I was like a maharaja!!! Very clean rooms and common places. Also the plan for two days there was amazing, with a safari tour sleeping on the desert. And of course, they gave me proper advice about the city and places to enjoy. Sure I recommend Hotel Pol Haveli for all people!!!

Location is good enough to walk to any part of the city, including the fort. The rooms are quite big, the bathroom as well and the water pressure was perfect. It is clean, comfortable and most importantly it was super quiet so we could sleep like babies. AC worked fine despite the 50 celsius temperatures when we were there. Ana's son came to pick us up at the train station at midnight and we were hungry so he took us to his home and cooked food for us even though it was super late... Ana and his team will gladly help with anything you need and they are always easily reachable. We needed help to get a train ticket to Jodhpur and he helped us out with it with no commission fees. You should book this place with no hesitation as it is quite perfect.

A very beautiful haveli in a quiet area with a sweet rooftop with a good restaurant and amazing food. The owner and the staff are all so helpfull and they really just want you to be happy and they do everything for it. I enjoyed my time there a lot, i wasnt feeling so well when i arrived but they changed it, cooked extra healthy and simple food just for me and for my belly, they have a really good cook:-) I felt like being a part of the familly, this place has a good spirit and i am happy to return one day.

The room was same as in the photos, big, clean. Bed was very comfortable and smelled fresh. Bathroom was also clean, hot water available. In the room there was airco and a ceiling fan. Towels were provided. Wifi worked well. The rooftop restaurant had a nice view to the fort and was very relaxing. Dinner was good and for a low price. All staff was very friendly. Overall good value for money and proper cleaning.

It was on a small dusty road where the car could barely enter due to cows and dogs. We felt a bit unconfortable when we opened the door to our room because the staff was sleeping on a bench in front of our room.

Very easy and enjoyable stay. Picked up at the train station on time with a clear sign with our name, followed by a welcome drink. Organised a camel safari for us which was fun and non - touristic as requested sleeping under the moonlight. Given a free room to use on return from safari for the whole day before our night bus (which they also booked for us). Chef cooked delicious food and allowed us to watch him cook whilst giving instructions so we learnt a lot.

Beautiful old looking Haveli but actually very modern and clean, comfy beds and rooms as in pictures. The staff are amazing and will help you with anything. The rooftop restaurant is superb with an excellent chef and good prices too. Included breakfast is also superb with many choices. The Hotel also offers Desert safari with their own drivers and staff.

An absolute highlight in the golden city of Jaisalmer. The accommodations are fantastic straight out of 1000 and 1 Nights. The staff is extra class. You can go to them with any question and they will do their best to make everything possible. Stayed here for 4 nights. Great central location, clean and you feel like you're at home. The chef is a true artist and creates fresh and absolutely delicious authentic dishes. We also decided to book a camel safari through this hotel. Here too we were surprised with what was probably the best way to experience it. Especially outside, no overcrowded places. Enjoyed culinary delights in the middle of the sand dunes, spent a wonderful night with a campfire and a starry sky. The service and quality leave absolutely nothing to be desired. Clearly this place and these people made our stay unforgettable and created a great time. Highly Recommended!!!

Manager Surya and his colleagues were simply awesome and so nice company for a lone traveler like me, a lot of interesting and also funny discussions... I dare to say we became friends. They took me with them to two Indian wedding celebrations, by jeep and a motorbike, helped me to choose a nice Indian dress... an experience, I will never forget and no tourist agency can provide. Non-tourist safari with camels and sleeping under the stars (with many friendly dogs around) was also an unforgettable experience. If you haven't planned to visit Jaisalmer (which I also adored since it is so unspoiled and friendly traditional Rajasthani town), you should visit it for the Pol Haveli Hotel and its friendly people alone... I extended my stay for 3 nights. I will miss you, my friends from Pol Haveli, and a friendly camel guide!

The rooms were immaculate. The staff is discerning , and perfect.

Room was nice and spacious with hot water and friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights in total with a night in the desert in the middle booked through the company which was all good. The food in the restaurant was delicious and probably better than anything we could find in Jaisailmer.
