Good location and able to provide parking (€30 per day)

We were disappointed to be in a house on the other side of the street to the main Hotel. Despite a junior suite, we had a poor view. The toilet was tiny and on the other side of the room around the bed to the bathroom which appeared to be in a corridor, and contained a shower over a bath. The seating area was uncomfortable and bland. The whole room seemed unloved and poorly planned which was surprising for the prices being charged.

The location is really great! And the hotel itself is very picturesque and quaint!

I liked that it was centrally located but still quiet and kind of hidden away. The hotel is very lovely, especially the restaurant area on the canal!

Excellent location, with back entrance which is quiet. I got a free upgrade. The staff esp the manager Bram, was just so wonderful and kind! This stay was the best part of my Belgium tour. The personalised touch is unmistakable! My room was so luxurious and spacious, I was stunned at the elegance of the massive bathroom!

Sehr schönes, etwas kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf die Gracht. Super zentrale Lage. Bombastisch gutese Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Zimmer etwas hellhörig, Dusche aus darüberliegender Etage gut vernehmbar. Zum Glück aber sehr kultiviertes Publikum, daher kein Problem. Das Interieur ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber äußerst charmant, gepflegt und stilvoll. Nicht wirklich kritisierenswert.

Staff pleasant and efficient. The location in the town center was perfect. Breakfast copious and delicious if a tad expensive.

We were assigned room 215, small, beautifully decorated with a view of the inner roof/courtyard. The bed cover had some unpleasant looking white stains. The bathroom “door”, a glass panel , needs to be replaced with a fully fitted wooden door properly sound and light proofed. This was a serious inconvenience.

La situation géographique de l'hôtel. Professionnalisme et gentillesse du personnel. Petit déjeuner magnifique (sauf fleurs artificielles, et "défraichies", sur les tables...) Belle dimension, et confort, de notre chambre avec vue sur canal.

Le lendemain de notre première nuit, la chambre n'était toujours pas faite à 14h30... ... l'anomalie a été corrigée le lendemain, à notre demande. Aucune restauration, autre que le petit déjeuner, n'est disponible à l'hôtel.

من أفضل الفنادق اللي سكنت فيها! الفندق صغير ورايق وفخم، والأجمل طاقم العمل جدًا ودودين وبشوشين ومتعاونين. من أول لحظة وصلنا استقبلونا بابتسامة وترحيب جميل، ولما دخلنا الغرفة لقينا رسالة لطيفة مع علبة شوكولاتة على السرير، وحتى وقت المغادرة ودعونا بهدية بسيطة فيها سناك للطريق. التفاصيل الصغيرة هذي فعلًا فرقت معنا وخلّت التجربة مميزة. خلال إقامتنا طلبت منهم كم شغلة، وكل طلب كان يتم التعامل معه بسرعة وتتم تلبيته مباشرة. الخدمة والاهتمام جدًا ممتازين. الغرفة طابعها كلاسيكي وأنتيك، والديكورات جميلة ومميزة وتعطي المكان جو فخم ودافئ. والسرير كان مريح بشكل مو طبيعي، كأننا نايمين على غيمة! تجربة جدًا جميلة من البداية للنهاية، وحسّينا بالاهتمام والضيافة في كل التفاصيل. أكيد أنصح فيه وبقوة، ولو رجعت للمنطقة راح أكرر السكن فيه 🤍 One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! During our stay, I made a few requests, and every single one was answered and taken care of immediately. The service was truly outstanding. The room had a beautiful antique charm, with elegant decorations and so much character. And the bed was unbelievably comfortable it honestly felt like we were sleeping on clouds! The location was perfect, right in the center, with everything nearby and easily accessible. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Everything about our stay felt warm, personal, and special. We absolutely loved it and would happily stay here again. Highly, highly recommended!

‎عزل الصوت في الغرفة مو مرّة جيد، كنا أحيانًا نسمع أصوات من برا أو من الغرف المجاورة. لكن بشكل عام ما أثّر كثير على جمال تجربتنا. The only downside was that the room wasn’t very well soundproofed, so we could occasionally hear noise from outside or neighboring rooms. However, this didn’t take away from our overall wonderful experience.

Très bel hôtel au cœur de la ville, déco magnifique, chambre spacieuse et lit ultra confortable, personnel au petit soin, nous avons passé un super moment

Bel établissement, personnel gentils et serviable mais trop peu nombreux et débordé.

Chambres faites tardivement. Petits déjeuner très moyens malgré la belle vaisselle et les couverts en argent: difficile d’obtenir un 2 eme verre de jus d’orange ( où est la serveuse?) Jambon moyen, saumon et autres aliments servis en verrines, 2 œufs au plat facturés 4 € etc. Tout à revoir au niveau service malgré la gentillesse du personnel (trop peu nombreux). Ne tiendra pas face à la concurrence si ces points ne sont pas corrigés !

Pour passer une soirée une soirée romantique à Bruges c'est l'endroit idéal : emplacement exceptionnel. Bruges le soir vaut par son calme et ses illuminations. Le personnel est au petits soins pour vous

L’hôtel propose le garage , c'est très bien mais signaler aux étrangers qu’ils doivent inscrire leur véhicule sur le site de la commune c’est mieux. Fâcheuse manie de plusieurs communes en Belgique

Posizione centralissima sul canale piu bello. Struttura molto bella ma non tenuta al massimo delle sue potenzialità. Colazione molto buona e ricercata. Ho avuto un problema e mi hanno cambiato subito la camera. Personale molto gentile.

Saknade spegel i badrummet så vi kvinnor kan se håret från bakifrån. Sen hade vi uppskattat ett skohorn. Fåtöljerna i vårt sovrum var kraftigt nedsuttna och obekväma. Sen hade det varit ett litet bord mellan fåtöljerna i stället för en puff. Eller en bricka man kunde ställt på puffen när man vill ställa ifrån sig kaffekoppen.

De uitstraling is echt romantisch. De accomodatie is erg oud en daarop is het interieur goed aangepast. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en je krijgt bij aankomst een doosje chocolade en als je weg gaat koekjes en drinken. De ligging van het hotel is fantastisch! Het ontbijt was gewoon erg goed dit in tegenstelling wat er in een ander review over is gezegd. Ruime keuze.

Wij zijn hier 23 jaar geleden ook al eens geweest en toen wij aankwamen met de auto, werd hij keurig voor ons weggebracht naar de garage. Nu kreeg je een plattegrond mee en kon je het zelf doen. Ook viel mij op dat er niets van het vele hout meer glom omdat er gewoonweg niks mee wordt gedaan. De trap naar boven zag ik in een oogopslag was echt niet schoon. Er lag stof, pluizen enz op. Dan weet je hoe de rest is. Idd je kon echt aan alles zien dat er in 23 tijd nooit meer iets aan veranderd was. Echt zonde van dit hotel. Het is een 4 sterren hotel en met een juiste aanpak kan dit makkelijk een 5 sterren hotel worden. De prijs kwaliteit is veel te hoog! Zeker als je buiten op het terrasje zit en je moet 2x naar binnen om een drankje te vragen. In een vorig review schreef er iemand dat de verlichting die boven het ontbijt hangt onder het stof zit en dat dat niet hygiënisch is. Ik had dus verwacht dat dit zou zijn opgelost want je schaamt je toch dood als iemand dit over jou hotel schrijft? Niet dus….. Dit zijn kleine veranderingen die zoveel verschil kunnen maken.

الموقع جميل جداً الغرف حلوه نظيفه

Wij hadden een Deluxe Heritage-kamer geboekt. Op uw website werd deze gepresenteerd met een prachtige foto van een ruime kamer en de vermelding van een oppervlakte van 30 m². Dat schept verwachtingen. Bij aankomst kon de receptionist ons niet eens vertellen of kamer 503 daadwerkelijk een Deluxe Heritage-kamer was. De kamer maakte bovendien een sobere indruk. Er stond een zeer oude, opgeknapte koelkast en de algehele uitstraling gaf ons weinig vertrouwen. Het was zelfs een kamer waarbij je je afvraagt hoe schoon het onder het bed eigenlijk is. De eisen die wij stellen zijn allesbehalve buitensporig. Wij verwachten simpelweg dat een kamer in redelijke mate overeenkomt met de presentatie op de website en de foto's waarop wij onze boeking hebben gebaseerd. Dat wij vervolgens € 2.100 moesten betalen, terwijl wij nog geen half uur op de kamer zijn geweest, vinden wij buitengewoon onredelijk. Zeker omdat mijn man zich daar direct lichamelijk onwel begon te voelen: hij werd benauwd en zijn bloeddruk liep op. Onder die omstandigheden zagen wij ons genoodzaakt de kamer te verlaten. Hieronder nogmaals het hele verhaal. Omdat het zo schandalig was. De enige foto die ik kan posten is de foto van de website zoals de kamer werd voorgesteld. Maar dat heeft dus geen zin.

Een zeer teleurstellende ervaring - verwachtingen en werkelijkheid liggen ver uit elkaar Wij schrijven vanuit onze ervaring: En dat was bij Hotel De Orangerie bijzonder teleurstellend. Naar onze mening is dit eerder een bed & breakfast dan een echt viersterrenhotel. Het aantal sterren zegt helaas weinig over de kwaliteit van de kamers, de service en de totale beleving. Ik kan me voorstellen dat veel gasten na een lange reis en met de wetenschap dat annuleren vaak niet meer mogelijk is, besluiten er dan maar het beste van te maken. Wij konden dat echter niet. Ook de algemene staat van de kamer stelde teleur. De houten vloeren maakten een versleten en vale indruk en op het beddengoed zat een grote vlek, waarvan niet duidelijk was wat de oorzaak was. De receptionist haalde het sprei direct weg, maar een frisse eerste indruk was daarmee al verdwenen. Bij aankomst in de kamer  vroegen wij of er eventueel een ruimere kamer beschikbaar was. De receptioniste vertelde dat dit "één van de grootste kamers" was. Later bood hij nog een andere kamer aan, maar die was vergelijkbaar van formaat; alleen het behang was volgens hem rustiger. Wat ons vooral zorgen baarde, was de veiligheid. Toen wij vroegen waar de nooduitgang was in geval van brand, wist de receptionist dat niet. Hij antwoordde dat we "via de trap" moesten en gaf aan verder ook niet te weten welke vluchtroute er was. Mijn man merkte vervolgens op dat als de brand zich juist bij die trap zou bevinden, wij geen kant meer op zouden kunnen. Dat vonden wij een zeer verontrustende reactie, zeker in een pand dat grotendeels uit hout bestaat. Ook de omschrijving "uitzicht op een mooie binnenplaats" vonden wij misleidend. In werkelijkheid keek de kamer uit op een kleine  binnenplaat zonder uitweg.

This is an excellent, cosy, comfortable, quiet old hotel in the centre of Bruges. A real hidden gem with a delightful library / lounge and outdoor terrace by the canal for unwinding after a busy day exploring the City.

The car parking is not on site, but it is nonetheless only a stone’s throw away and very easy to find once you’ve dropped your luggage off at the hotel.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr schöne, geschmackvolle Einrichtung , wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet.

Leider hatten wir ein wunderbares Zimmer im Parterre mit Fenstertüre zur Strasse, welches man somit nicht öffnen konnte. Das war sehr unangenehm. Alles andere war jedoch perfekt.

Beliggenheten er midt i smørøyet i Brussel, kan ikke bli bedre! Hotellet er veldig koselig og litt gammelt i stilen, særlig var frokostsalen flott! Frokosten var god, rommene veldig bra. Vær oppmerksom på at det kan være litt krevende å ankomme med bil. Men følger du anvisningene fra hotellet går det veldig bra, selv om de kan virke litt merkelige. Personalet var svært imøtekommende og positive, bedre enn man kan forvente.

One of the very best things about the hotel is the staff. Bram, Corrine, and Chris all did many things to stand out. Bram, the manager is welcoming and positive. Corrine helped us modify our train travel improving it greatly. Chris said goodbye to us with coffee and a snack for the train. The hotel itself is an absolute delight. The rooms are large and so comfortable. The furniture has many antiques. The location is incredible. An afternoon glass of wine on the terrace next to the canal was wonderful. Breakfast was incredible.

My granddaughter & I arrived in June 28th for 2 nights, but wished it was more. Hotel de Orangerie in Bruges is one of the most adorable and elegant boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive, you feel truly special thanks to the warm, attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. They usually give chocolate but due to the extreme heat, they have another delicious candy., plus 2 drink tickets. Every detail is beautiful—from the exquisitely decorated lobby, breakfast room, and lounge to the charming, luxurious guest rooms. Nestled right on a picturesque canal and beside one of Bruges’ iconic bridges, the setting couldn’t be more magical. The location is perfect, just steps from Market Square and surrounded by wonderful shops, cafés, and historic sights. If you’re planning a visit to Bruges, this hotel is an unforgettable place to stay. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous old building, fun wallpaper and decor, very helpful staff, large comfortable rooms, and an excellent location. The breakfast was also excellent. We were traveling with our dog too, and it was very nice for her. The hotel had lots of small touches to make the stay feel special. My mother said, "Usually you can think of something that was wrong, but I couldn't come up with anything that was wrong. It was among the best hotels I've ever stayed at".

We visited Bruges on the 25th anniversary of me proposing to my wife just 5 minutes walk from this fantastic hotel. The hotel is brilliantly located overlooking the canal and close to all tourist sights, restaurants etc. The staff were brilliant. Eurostar cancelled our return journey to London with the earliest rebook being 2 days later. Thankfully the hotel manager, Bram, was able to book us in two extra nights in 2 different rooms. Each morning we left suitcases in our current room and they were moved to the new room for us while we were out sightseeing. The rooms were all beautifully decorated. I recommend paying the extra for the larger rooms as they were especially spacious. Each evening we had drinks in the lounge. Beautifully decorated like a country house with views out to the canal. The breakfasts were excellent in a lovely dining room full of old world character. Thank you for turning what could have been a nightmare with Eurostar into a relaxing extended stay.

Lovely quaint hotel with outside patio on a canal -only disappointment was just outside the patio were people lining up for the canal cruise -no privacy. The room was fairly large no view but quiet. The hotel needs to put in a new rug and perhaps a new bedspread

The location was wonderful. Our junior suite was in the second building, but that was great. The breakfast was amazing - so cute!! The staff were very helpful and overall amazing.

Comfortable room and bed with good air conditioning - so important in this summer's heat. Warm and helpful welcome. Great location by a canal and very close to the central squares. Decent breakfast. Complimentary glasses of champagne. A staff member at check-out allowed us to keep our car park space till 2pm (though we'd been told at check-in we'd have to leave by 1pm).

Fantastic location and really beautiful facilities. Loved the generosity of pastries available throughout the day and sweets in jars. It makes it feel really personal. Staff were lovely and really helpful.
