The room size was ok, it was clean and there fruits and nuts in the fridge.
The mattress was too soft and you could feel the springs. The water pressure in the shower is not good. There are plenty stairs to climb and no elevator. The stairs themselves can be dangerous if wet leading to someone slipping.
Very nice, clear and cozy, with a great location in the ancient city of Akko. Nearby restorant offers a very nice breakfast.
> A magical and romantic paradise nestled behind a facade that you would hardly believe could contain even a whisper of all this beauty. Nothing about its worn and dusty facade betrays the little kingdom that lies within - a vision taken straight from a scene in northern Italy in the 1960s. From the warm and sweet host family to the quiet melody of the guest rooms, this is a magical and embracing experience that remains long after you leave. For couples who still believe in searching for the hidden corners of love, and in unexpected grace - artistic, emotional and especially in providing embracing privacy - a rare combination in itself. Moments of forgetting, if only for a while, from all the Israeli hustle and bustle of all the "Bibi" and the headlines waiting there outside the door. A magical experience.
We were received warmly with beautiful smiles and delicious coffee The roof has a direct view on the sea Five minutes from shouk and Marina, just the perfect place if you want a great experience in the old city of Akko Thanks for everything
Everything
Great location near the main road, in the Old City of Akko (Acre). The stairs really aren't that bad, but are not for people who have accessibility needs that don't include stairs. The woman who welcomed us was lovely, helpful, and kind.
No complaints! Everything was as advertised, no surprises one way or the other - except for the complimentary bottle of wine, fruit bowl, and fresh coffee and cookies - thank you! We hope to return someday.
Wonderful hosts. They couldn't do enough for us.
Stairs to reach the room
I stayed at Saint Anna Guest Hotel in Acre — amazing experience and warm-hearted hosts who truly touch your heart. Highly recommended!
We loved staying here! The location is super central. We were greeted and treated so warmly, we can’t wait to come back! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a huge plus, a fun place to hangout in the mornings and evenings :)
Our only suggestion would be upgrading the bathroom facilities, otherwise everything was perfect
Terrible expedience. I arrived late, found out luggage had to be carried to 3rd floor via steps. Parking was street parking only and at 9ap following morning I had an $80 parking ticket even though there was no “ No Parking “ sign.
Excellent unit and great customer service at location. Highly recommend to any traveler
Owner was wonderful She served us cookies and coffee twice We took a selfie together
The owner of the property is a sweetheart of a lady. She gave us fruit and nuts upon arrival. She also brought us a yummy homemade dessert.
The property is family-owned. The room is clean, well-designed, and very comfortable, containing everything you need, including fresh fruits, wine, and coffee. The steep stairs make it difficult to access, and there’s no view from the window. The service can sometimes be impatient, likely due to it being a family-run business. However, the warm, personal touch and attention to detail make it a charming place to stay. Plus, the hotel is located above the famous Uri Buri restaurant. Don’t let the minor inconveniences deter you
Great location, private, clean.. close to the shore, restaurants and the old city shops, the staff were the sweetest!
Location
Bad not comfortable Lots of stairs Poor entering, not clean
Cozy and charming surrounded by history. Old Acre is jewl in the midle of the markets and the sea.
Lovely hosts, offered us Arabic coffee and homemade pastries in the morning while having a chat. The flat was stunning at the top of a very traditional house.
A few misleading things on the listing. There is no breakfast or bar available at the property. There is no sunset view from the property, but rather rooftops of buildings. Very steep 2nd flight of metal stairs to rooftop where the two rooms are. We were a little taken aback by the bird cages and items in the rooftop on our first impression. But, the room was very clean and comfortable and owners very nice, leaving little snacks in the morning. We never were able to get the tv to work even after asking one of the owners for help. Parking can be tough when it is busy. We waited 1/2 hour once until a spot opened up. All in all, the location worked out fine, we were comfortable in the room, the owners were very kind, but we would probably choose another place to stay if we were to return.
Great place to stay right by the sea! Loved our host. She was very sweet and thoughtful. Even brought us treats! Everything we needed for a great stay was provided. As other reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of steps up to the apartment. So be sure you can handle them with your luggage. Loved our stay!
Proprietor Absent. Unable to check in, no one was there at check in time, after 3 pm on my booked arrival date. Please provide a full refund. It was impossible to stay there. I was forced to go elsewhere.
A great choice. A lovely family hotel, warm and welcoming.
Beautiful room and in a great location.
Ocean view location. Walking distance to local markets, churches and centre of old Acre town.
We only stayed here for one night, but it was such an incredible stay! The hosts were so wonderful and helpful, the location was fantastic, and the property was beautiful! It was quiet, private, and well kept. Really exceeded my expectations and we had a great stay!
Nothing
Location is awesome and the staff is super nice and welcoming. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. They also put some fresh fruit, nuts and a rose wine bottle in the room fridge.
There are quite a few narrow stairs to get to the room you should take into account. Plus there is a parking issue during the weekends and you can only park about 10-15 minutes walk from it.
I loved this cute little apartment! It was very spacious, had a very nice outdoor space, two splits which kept the room nice and cool. I didn't cook, but the kitchen was well equipped, even has its own filtered water dispenser. Very nicely decorated, bathroom was nice - clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Great location, right next to Uri Buri (which was an amazing meal!). Some people said they had trouble finding it, I didn't have trouble, drove right in and had a parking space. It is up quite a few stairs, so if you can separate your luggage to just what you need for your stay that is certainly advisable. When I was leaving, my car wouldn't start (I had left flashers on too long so it drained the battery). Even though the manager/owner(??) spoke zero English, she got me someone to give me a jump within 15 minutes. Fantastic place, wished I had stayed two nights!
Room was nice but findin it was a bit tough since this was not a hotel, just 2 rooms for rent. They were however nicely situated on a rooftop with a lovely view of the sea. Getting to the rooftop with luggage required climbing 3 flights of steep and narrow stairs. Be forewarned! I had my 18 year old son and am in pretty good shape so we made it fine but not for everyone. Sitting on the rooftop was lovely with the plants and cats and birds, the gentleman even cut some flowers for me. There was also a bottle of nice wine in fridge lady left us some cake in the morning. Parking was also a bit of a challenge since it was very close to beach, we had a tiny car and found a spot. Again it all depends on what you’re used to and can handle. I liked the eclectic feel.
Location was great - very central and overlooking the sea. The owner was wonderful, providing fruit, biscuits and wine bottle on arrival. The roomhad lots of little nice touches, guide books and pamphlets, extra tea/ coffee etc for the kitcenette. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower just great.
There was not any dedicated parking for the B&B though there is shared parking which worked for us.
The hosts are exceptional …entry to St. Anna does contain a lot of steps, but do not let get in your way.
The property was in the perfect location for seeing Akko. It was very clean and I enjoyed my stay very much. The owners were very nice.
Zeeeer netjes.
Saint Anna is such a lovely and special place in the heart of the Old City of Akko. We loved the roof terrace and the hosts were so warm and friendly.
It was just what we were looking for, but if you are looking for a place that provides breakfast and/or changes towels every day then this place isn't for you.
Nice, clean and quiet (except for the prayer times at the mosque nearby) little apartment directly located in the old town of Akko(n) Friendly senior host couple who offered complimentary fruits and nuts when we arrived. One day, they brought us a typical Arabian breakfast. Parking space is around 7 minutes walk close to the prison museum. Good value-price ratio for Israel We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for everything! PS: The two apartments are located on the top of a typical/traditional (historical?) building. There are some steep stairs to get up there (no elevator). No problem for us, but you might consider this when booking for people who have difficulties walking stairs.
Beautifully designed space, lovely treats and a very warm welcome on arrival. Great to be in the old city and so close to the sea promenade.
In order to have the rooftop views there are 60 steps to the room and terrace. We didn’t mind, but I think it’s worth mentioning in the advertising. We felt the price should include breakfast.
Accueil exceptionnel.
Large room and sitting area. Deck houses the family's numerous plants and chickens. Was greeted with Arabic coffee and delicious seed cookies. Lovely family.
our stay was really pleasing and lovely, quiet and calm and exactly what we imagined. super clean pretty and we got a bottle of wine, fruits and nuts as a gift which was very nice too would recommend completely
Perfect location, beautiful facility, incredibly welcoming host. Will definitely come back
On the positive side, the hosts were very kind and provided fruits and wine as a nice gesture. The balcony was also a nice and quiet place to hang out.
Overall, the place had some drawbacks including no allocated parking despite what was mentioned on Booking, the presence of ants, and a lot of stairs to climb. Additionally, some of the room walls had cracks, marks, and wetness marks.
Hard to find, but very nice lady who gave us the keys. Good location in old city. It is more of a B and B like situation not a hotel. Rooms are on the top of the building in the back with a terrace housing plants, storage items and some caged pidgeons. Amenities were good with complimentary coffee, fruit and wine.
The place isn't easy to find until you know where it is. Look for Uri Buri, just next to the sea wall by the lighthouse. Behind Uri Buri is Saint Anna - go up the steps but not through the front door, take the steps to the left and then along the corridor and up another set of steps to the roof terrace - your room will be one of the two there. If we'd known that it would have saved us an hour of wandering around. Once inside the room was fantastic - clean, quiet, good wifi and a decent amount of space. Most importantly it was a great base for exploring the city and the Templar Tunnels were about a minutes walk and the citadel maybe 10 minutes at most.
Amazing guest house, beautiful, quiet, very well located right in the old Akko, the room was very nice and comfortable with everything you might need. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful even offering me a local cake that tasted very good or tips about restaurants in the area ! A good reference to find it is that it’s very close to the restaurant Uri Buri. I really recommend staying at St Anna to visit old Akko !
Great position and delightful host
perfectly situated, comfortable, authentic and clean. Very warm welcome by the host
nothing
It was a little hard to find this guest house at first, but the communication with the owner was easy. She helped me over the phone. There are two beautiful suites side by side at the top of one of the homes at the tip of the old city near the western exit of the Templar Tunnel. There are quite a few steps up to the suite, but once you open the door you will be happy that you made reservations here. The suite is clean and comfortable with the ability to make coffee tea, etc. The bathroom has been upgraded and the A/C works great. You may also find some treats left for you. Her family lives nearby and dropped off some fruit and nuts and even some fresh baked sweets at one point. The host left a nice bottle of wine as well. The area is wonderful for exploring by foot. We were able to park our car nearby and didn’t touch it for two days. If you have no problem walking up stairs book this guest house!
Facilities great-
The room was well equipped with a coffee machine and basic kitchen facilities but nothing to cook or warm things.
60 steps to reach the room many of which were filthy and narrow. The advertised balcony was a shared entry area that was not inviting and no sea view as advertised. Breakfast (additional cost) was good but at a café a few minutes walk from the room.
the room was good, clean and enough for what you need for sleeping. the owner called us to know where we would be and she gave us complimentary fruit. thank you! the hotel is in the center
the out part of the bedroom leads to a terrace with full of stuff and hens, pigeons… a little bit dirty
This place is amazing. The level of hospitality is outstanding and everything was simply extraordinary, from start to finish. And the location is stunning. We loved every moment at Saint Anna!!!!
Chambre charmante.
The property itself was lovely and the innkeeper very friendly and accommodating It was almost impossible to find The location on the map is not accurate at all We appear to arrive at a time where the many of the Arab residents of Akko we’re extremely unfriendly and rude to us as tourists
it was very lovely and peaceful !
Excellent placing, minutes away from Old Acre, and very relaxing. Will visit again.
We stayed in one of two rooms in the property - very nice and friendly hosts, clean and pleasant room, very good location in the town of Akko (on the beach front, close to the ancient port and the tunnel to the market). However - there is no private porch which can be implied by the photo's. The porch is shared with the other room, and with the owners, so sitting there is privacy in the evening was not possible.
Little place, great spot, cleen and well equipped for a quiet vacation. close to the sea in the middle of the old city
Saint Anna has two lovely rooms, in a great location in the old city. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The communication with our hosts was excellent and very welcoming. We had a lovely stay and look forward to stay there again!
This family have 2 small suits for guest. Great location but be aware of the many stairs you need to climb in order to get to the room. The hosts were so nice, offered coffee and cookies. I highly recommend staying there.
it is graet for summer and spring not for winter you hardely see the sea
Great hospitality, location and value for money
Lovely room on top of the old city. Absolutely charming and unique. You have to be in shape to climb up, but it was worth it. We would stay here again.
Bref ! Parfait!
The stay was amazing. Wonderful, comfortable, and clean room. Great hospitality. No less than exalent. Highly recommended.
