Very close to the park and shopping. The room was comfortable and had an amazing terrace.

Location was excellent . The building is beautiful, and the the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful for our entire stay. Receptionist gave us great information and offered us a free upgrade . We had dinner in the restaurant and were served by a lovely lady called Melissa, who really looked after us.

Great location with nice common areas and a great bar with good offerings.

The room was plain with no art on the walls. The breakfast was very average with nothing spectacular. No omelette bar or hand crafted coffee drinks. Definitely not worth the price tag. The upgraded room looked out to a roof with hardly a plaza view. Noise was perceptible all night from neighbors and the street. The air conditioning hardly worked and the room remained too warm all night.

Hubiese preferido una cama grande en lugar de dos pequeñas, no habría disponibilidad.

De heerlijke ruimte in de suite. Gewoon een zeer ruime zitkamer met heerlijke bank en stoelen en goede espresso machine en waterkoker. Badkamer met aparte wc met schuifdeur, erg veel kastruimte met extra lades, in iedere ruimte goede openslaande ramen, veel verlichting. Prima bedden, erg groot. Zeer vriendelijk personeel met een persoonlijke touch, zowel bij inchecken als bij het ontbijt en diner. Geweldige parking onder het hotel. En de enorme lobby ruimte met zeer comfortabele zithoeken overal, geweldig!

Niks viel tegen. Aantal zaken zijn ietwat gedateerd, maar dat gaf juist charme aan de hele beleving.

Nunca pudimos usar Netflix o apps en la televisión porque salía que no se conectaba an internet y fue imposible.

La ubicación es muy buena. En general todo estuvo muy bien salvo algunos detalles.

Mi esposa sufrió erupciones en la piel. Fuimos al médico y nos dijo que era una reacción alérgica, posiblemente producida por ácaros que suelen proliferar en alfombras y cortinas. Además, en la habitación había un sócalo despegado y el empapelado levantado donde también se podían alojar bichos. Es una lástima.

Absolutely Fabulous! Beautiful hotel. Interior decoration superb. Our room with terrace was one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Concierge parking. Lovely breakfast. Staff very polite and professional. Almost central for all places of interest in this amazing city.

This is a beautiful hotel. The situation is perfect and just a short walk to the old town through a park. The staff were delightful and very helpful. The room with a terrace was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

I would've really liked proper tea making facilities in the room. Just tiny cups were provided for coffee. But this is a very minor criticism!! Everything else was lovely.

Welcoming and helpful staff in a very comfortable historic hotel. Enjoyed walking across the park to the old centre. Great not to have to use the car every day. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice.

La situación del alojamiento excepcional. La amabilidad, ayuda y disponibilidad del personal. Tamaño de la habitación.

Es un alojamiento emblemático que, en mi opinión, por su fama y tradición debe cuidar más los detalles y limpieza en las habitaciones. En nuestro caso, la moqueta no se aspiró todos los días cosa que al igual que en los hoteles que hay baldosas se friegan a diario aquí se debería aspirar y tratar porque había mancha de todo. En el vestidor había una toalla tirada detrás de la puerta a nuestra llegada (nunca se quitó) y en uno de los sofás había debajo del asiento un par de calcetines de otro huésped (lo descubrimos al sentarse mí hijo que notó algo raro…) Por otro lado, el mantenimiento en concreto cortinas y moqueta estaban muy sucias. El embellecedor de la cama estaba la tela rota al igual que alguna pantalla.

The hotel was amazing , the rooms were big and luxurious , the best hotel we have stayed in on our trip to Northern Spain .

La habitación era pequeña... Los ascensores lentos y anticuados... El pescado en el restaurante no era muy bueno...

Un séjour absolument magnifique ! Un hôtel de grand standing, très élégant et raffiné, avec un confort exceptionnel. L’endroit est charmant, très bien situé pour découvrir Oviedo, et tout était vraiment parfait. Une très belle expérience que je recommande vivement !

Llegamos a las 14,30 y aún no tenían preparada la habitación , tocó esperar , para pagar no funcionaba el datáfono , finalmente si , esperar otra vez , ni mapa de la ciudad , ni recomendaciones ni nada , recepcionista parco en palabras , habitación con mobiliario descuidado , es un hotel histórico pero una cosa es eso y otra es viejo , habitacion apenas sin luz natural . Para Ser un cinco estrellas y el precio que tiene esperaba algo más . No volveré .

I forgot my shirt in the room when I checked out and the next day it was gone, when I asked if it was found by housekeeping. Big disappointment from a so called five star hotel.

The property is conveniently located near San Francisco Park and near great restaurants and the Mercado. It made for great ease in taking in the city on foot. The hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Great location to see the city, large comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and the parking lot was really convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

The EV chargers in the parking lot seems to be only usable by people with phone numbers from Spain or Portugal, due to a requirement of the app you need to use. That makes them not usable for people driving an EV car from another EU country, which was really unfortunate and frustrating to figure out.

Some part of the hotel need a renovation

Breakfast was fantastic and we loved our terrace onto the courtyard. We loved Marcus the manager who didn't tell us off when we went exploring but took us on a tour and told us about the hotel history instead! Also I left a small make up bag behind which the staff v kindly and quickly found and brought to reception when my friends arrived in a taxi to collect it.

We enjoyed the wedding that was taking place....until late in the evening. The music was v loud later on and there was a lot of shouting.

Hotel a mi parecer insuperable en muchos aspectos: historia, ubicación, instalaciones, personal... no puedo decir nada más que GRACIAS. Su fama está justificada.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful if they tried. Everything about the hotel was absolutely lovely. The beautiful plaza, the comfortable, immaculate room. A perfect combination of old world charm and modern amenities.

Das Hotel liegt in fußläufiger Entfernung zur Altstadt. Das Haus ist plüschig im Kolonialstil eingerichtet, hat eine wunderschöne Lobby und punktet mit Bequemlichkeit in jeglicher Hinsicht. Frühstück in Ordnung, Kaffee könnte besser sein. Parkhaus direkt unter dem Hotel.

Excellent room with huge terrace. Comfortable bed. The hotel is very palatial with a beautiful foyer and lounge area. The parking underneath the hotel is very convenient albeit not cheap at €24 a night. Great location near the park and main shopping area. The old town is a 15-20:minute walk.

The particulars stated there was a bathtub in the room which unfortunately there wasn’t but the check in desk attendant kindly changed the room for us.

Quizás un chico de la recepción, pero asumo que tuvo un mal día. Cuando le pedimos información sobre posibles conciertos u obras teatrales, nos dijo que deberíamos ir nosotros mismos a los teatros y salas de conciertos a informarnos, que el no nos la podía buscar.... tal como he dicho, quizás tuvo un mal día y nada más.

Very spacious hotel. We loved the large rooms and communal spaces. The garage is very practical, it’s right underneath the hotel - easy access.

This hotel is ideally located in the city centre and the hotel is very good indeed, except we found the bed a little uncomfortable. This hotel is also very easy to find and they have an excellent car park under the hotel too.

Me puso la recepcionista en la habitación 125 y esta al lado del cuarto de limpieza, por eso a las 7 de la mañana nos despertaron los carros de la limpieza al sacarlos y arrastrarlo por el pasillo.

La cama era muy grande y cómoda. Respecto a la ubicación está muy cerca del centro histórico y más cerca todavía de la calle comercial.

A bit tired. Plus their restaurant was terrible. Very limited menu. Plus no vegetarian option. The chef refused to make a vegetarian dish for my wife (even though only 14 people in the restaurant) Disgraceful. Would never stay here again because of this.
