A localização é bastante central e, de carro, conseguimos chegar a todos os pontos da cidade em 30 minutos. O quarto que escolhi esteve sempre limpo e cuidado e tinha uma vista fenomenal do Hollywood Sign e do Griffith Observatory.

O facto do estacionamento ser um extra, bastante caro, para quem está hospedado. Felizmente, existem parques de estacionamento com preços bem mais acessíveis e a poucos metros do hotel (e com elevada segurança) que compensam deixar o carro. A zona da piscina era bastante barulhenta, e os chuveiros não funcionavam. Ao mesmo tempo, a piscina tinha alguma sujidade na superfície (recomendo manutenção diária, por exemplo, nos períodos mais calmos). Quanto ao quarto, havia uma dificuldade em regular a temperatura e a pressão da água, ou seja, se queríamos uma temperatura mais baixa, a pressão diminuía. É impossível encontrar um meio-termo para tomar um duche. Por último, um hotel de 4 estrelas não ter serviço de pequeno-almoço e compensar com um pequeno café na zona da recepção, acho muito pouco para o tipo de serviço e qualidade exigidos para um hotel com esta classificação.

the location is perfect for me, a few minutes away from the Grove and lots of asian restaurants. the staff are very helpful and easy to get uber. rooms cozy bed and breakfast is great.

it is hard to open the luggages in the room because space is limited and there is a side table like an art piece that took up the space could have used the space to open the bags. sometimes i can smell food going in my room.

There is a $30 per day surcharge that includes $20 off food and drink at the bars and restaurants. This would be fine except for it is not factored into your actual balance. When you check out, you will see it reflected on your bill but when you see your actual credit card charges, they do not deduct that $20. nobody likes this kind of surprises after you've already checked out, they are nearly impossible to reverse after the fact and it requires time on the phone and patience. The place itself is fine but I don't like that sort of tricky.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’esthétique de la chambre, le confort et l’emplacement très pratique dans LA! La piscine est un + vraiment sympa notamment lors des journées très ensoleillés.

Les petits points négatifs ne sont pas si graves mais sont des points d’amélioration, en effet, le rideau de douche était trop court et laissait donc passer l’eau dessous inondant ainsi la petite salle de bain. Ensuite le fait qu’il n’y ait pas un parking réservé aux clients de l’hôtel avec un prix compris dans la nuit est dommage car il était très cher et donc il vaut mieux trouver un parking ailleurs si vous y restez quelques nuits. Enfin c’est du détail mais la télé datait un peu ce qui est dommage car pas de possibilité de regarder netflix par exemple.

Es un edificio muy moderno, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero suficientes con todas las comodidades y con una decoración muy original. El barrio está muy bien comunicado con el metro enfrente y un montón de restaurantes y cafeterías cerca.

Rien !!!!! Je ne sais pas par quoi commencer ! Les chambres sont très très humides si bien que je suis asthmatique et j’ai du prendre plus d’une fois ma ventoline pour réussir à respirer un minimum pendant la nuit !!! On nous a d’abord attribuer une chambre catastrophe humide avec une climatisation qui fonctionne à moitié et qui fait un bruit insupportable !!! J’ai du appeler 3 fois la réception pour que quelqu’un intervienne, la personne n’a rien pu faire. On nous a proposé une autre chambre presque en nous le rapprochant de manière pas sympathique du tout !!! On nous a déplacé dans une chambre l’étage en dessous qui avait exactement les mêmes défauts !!! À côté de la machine à glaçons dans un hôtel où l’insonorisation est catastrophique !! J’entendais le rideau du voisin se lever !!!! Vous êtes des voleurs !!! On vous demande 300 euros en plus de caution pour je ne sais qu’elle raison !!!! Le seul et je dis bien le seul point positif est peut être l’emplacement bien qu’il est impossible de faire quoi que ce soit à pieds ! Je préfère mettre mon argent dans un confort de base car celui ci est proche d’un hôtel deux étoiles et qu’encore qu’abec un minimum de conscience professionnel on ne propose ça dans aucun hôtel!!! Le soir vous avez les gens ivre des boites de nuit qui vous accoste bien qu’ils ne soient pas méchant on reste dans un hôtel 4 étoiles ou il n’y a aucune intimité ! La piscine semble mal entretenue!!! Le personnel réalise le strict minimum et la dame qui s’occupe des problèmes en chambre n’est pas forcément très sympathique !!! Je vous déconseille cet hôtel vous pourrez au lieu faire votre photo Instagram et après souffrir !!!! C’est la dernière fois que je mets un pied ici !!! Croyez moi que j’ai fais des dizaines d’hôtel et je n’ai jamais vu ça !!!! Honteux !

I love the modern vibe with cool artwork. It’s so convenient to have a coffee shop, bar, and restaurant inside the hotel and all have great food and drinks. The valet service is outstanding making it so easy to have a car here with in and out privileges. And I have to mention the fast elevators.

The neighborhood can be a bit rough but as a city lover I get that. It’s balanced by the convenience to so many great restaurants and Korean amenities.

Loved that it was dog friendly. Restaurant was Stupendous.

The hotel is modern, clean and very pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful and always willing to assist. The hotel is also in a convenient, central location with good access to the places we wanted to visit.

The surrounding area felt a little uncomfortable at times because of some unusual people outside, especially in the evening. However, we felt safe inside the hotel.

everything is made for you to pay more. they say they will give you 20 dolars for consumption but only can be changed in one place where they even have bottle waters. The inibar is full so you can´t save water or other in there without taking out most of it that of course you will have to pay as bottles of kombucha etc. With the design and stile you don´t know is old/style or bad cleanning. In the coffe shop (where you can´t changed the 20 USD) you only can pay with card an not cash. Everything is made to make you spend more money on them .

Arlene at the front desk was top! Helpful, kind and showed compassion on a difficult stay. I had awell appointed room, air conditioning worked well and overtime during stay in June.

We had to pay an unexpected 300$ deposit when we arrived and were promised a refund if nothing is damaged. We were promised a 20$ voucher for food each day but the only way to use them was to pay through the deposit. There is also only valet parking which was very expensive and you had to pay through the deposit so i never got my money back.

The blinds were a bit complicated to use and the sliding bathroom door was heavy to pull to close.

Het uitzicht was leuk. Ook de voucher van 20 USD per dag aan eten en drank.

Wij zaten op de achtste verdieping en hadden last van oorverdovend verkeerslawaai. Accommodatie is niet voor ondiepe slapers, je hebt echt oordopjes nodig of je doet geen oog toe. Douchekraan heeft een eigen manual nodig. Ook een avond koud water. Kleine bedden om met 2 in te slapen. Na ons verblijf wilden we de auto op de parking even plaatsen zodat we onze koffers gemakkelijk konden inladen. Dit was geen probleem voor de hotelreceptionist. Echter deed de man van de valetparking hier belachelijk moeilijk over.

The restaurant

The room and the bathroom. The room was set up in a crowded illogical way that had us scooting around. The bathroom was dated and unpleasant. There was no trash can. There were no coffee and tea supplies in the room.

Bad service. My wife couldn't check in to the Hotel even with my the reservation info. Then they had me call to verify but gave me the wrong extension number so I was calling the restaurant. After multiple attempts I called the hotel back to be directed to a manager that told me it should be fine as long as she has the confirmation number and again they didn't let my wife up to the room. So I had to call again just to be told that I had to change the name on the reservation for them to give her the room and then they made her pay the deposit with another card for the deposit. The room was a disaster as well. Smelly, musty wet carpet smell, humid, and AC was broken and started spitting out water! DONT GET #540!!!

The hotel was hip and clean. The pool area was beautiful and serene.

The wifi was useless! The front facing street was LOUD. The pool hours advertised online were incorrect. The pool is only open from 10-7 on weekdays.

It's in Korean town, many Korean restaurants are in walkable distance.

It's very noisy, hear the car and ambulance all night. The hotel valet parking is $65 per day, and when I ask if there is any other choice, the staff simply told me to try my luck.

The view from the room was great, truly one of the highlights of the stay. Breakfast was tasty with a small but strong variety of options.

The layout of the room and the included furniture made it difficult to open larger suitcases. The hot water in the bathroom was intermittent. We raised the issue with reception and were advised that the hot water was working fine, only later to find out that they were experiencing a boiler issue. This was disappointing as it meant we were left taking cold showers when there might have been a solution had staff communicated within their own teams more efficiently. The area is ok, but a little dicey. Be aware of people who live on the surrounding streets and the presence of illegal substances. There was a fair bit of confusion at checkout where we were significantly overcharged for taxes and services we did not receive. Had I not enquired about our balance at check out, I fear this would have gone unnoticed and resulted in a hefty overpayment on our end.

I absolutely loved my stay at The LINE Hotel in Los Angeles! It was the perfect hotel for a solo trip. The rooms were spotless, the hotel was beautifully designed with unique modern architecture, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of the city. The location is unbeatable—close to so many great restaurants, cafés, and popular attractions, making it easy to explore Los Angeles. I felt comfortable, safe, and had everything I needed for an amazing stay. I can’t wait to come back!🌇🫶🏼

The hotel and room itself was very clean and always well maintained when we left for the day. We had no issues while there.

The rooms are really small. The location of this hotel is terrible, coming from NY. It does look nicer online than it actually is was in person. The area it’s located in is not appealing at all but the hotel itself once inside is okay. The TV due to FIFA was extremely loud. Bathrooms and beds need a major upgrade. Good if you’re into supper soft/flimsy beds. The bedsheets and duvets made me sweat tremendously even with the AC on. The bathroom is tiny and the shower itself was difficult to figure out, one day the water was warm, other days super hot and low pressure.

Check in was quick and easy. The staff neither friendly nor unpleasant. There was no coffee machine in the room but I requested a kettle and this was brought to the room extremely quickly. The bathroom products were lovely and we were provided with plenty of towels. Great location for ease of commuting.

I researched a lot before booking as I was travelling with my teenage son and wanted a safe hotel with amenities for us both in an area that had good travel connections. I believed this hotel was correct but unfortunately there were many things that didn't impress us. The room set up meant there was nowhere to open a large suitcase except for the bed. The electric blackout blinds moved by themselves early every morning (7am) Not great when you are fighting Jetlag. There was no window that opened to let fresh air into the room. No working USB sockets! No coffee machine. The minibar , besides being extremely overpriced, was stocked with products that were mostly atleast 3 years OUT OF DATE. I brought this up to the reception staff and although I was not charged for the can of wine I opened before looking at the dates ( which smelt so badly of sulphur it was like opening a cess pit!) my biggest worry was that the staff didnt seem fazed by the products being so far out of date and no apology was offered. Every time we used the gym the security guard came in. Im guessing a sensor goes off if people enter, but he never said a word ( a simple 'good evening') Instead he just stared at us then left again! For me this hotel didnt offer good value for money.

I loved the location and the area.

The bed was uncomfortable. Then one of the elevators broke and the others were constantly skipping the 11th floor or was too full once the doors opened. I tried using the stairs but there was no way to access any of the other floors from the stairwell and I had to go all the way down to the street level to get back up to the restaurant.

It’s right across the metro so it’s really convenient to take a metro to downtown. Staff is really nice and had early check in available. $20 credit was good however it would have been even better if could be used for coffee at Alfred. It’s nice to have shampoo, conditional, shower gel and hand wash provided.

Conditions on how to use the $20 credit, bar and restaurant opening hours could have been printed as there was a bit of information to remember by heart. The rooms are extremely dark especially at night. Additional lighting is required. It was better during the day with the blinds opened however one of the rooms I booked faces the swimming pool. When the blinds are open people at the pool could see in which is a bit awkward. I am not sure if central air was used, I could smell stir fry from within my room but I didn’t order stir fry so that’s off putting. The bathroom of one of the rooms I booked has really insufficient shower curtain meaning water continues to come out from shower and caused a puddle in the bathroom. Beds are worn out and not comfortable. No luggage rack available. It doesn’t fit a normal standard of a 4 star hotel. The provided shampoo etc could be in a locked location to prevent the shampoo to be tampered with. Also I’d expect body lotion to be provided in the room of a four star hotel.

The real highlight was the great view of the Hollywood Sign. (When you’re in a high floor to the right side) The Pool ist good, the stuff was nice.

Looks better at first glance than it actually is The hotel appears nicer at first sight than it really is. The rooms are quite worn down, with visibly tired surfaces. The windows weren’t properly clean, and there’s almost no way to ventilate the rooms. We stayed in two different rooms, and in both, the air conditioning units smelled extremely musty and didn’t look clean either. I suspect they aren’t serviced regularly — otherwise they wouldn’t smell like that. As a result, the air quality in the room was very poor. I also didn’t like that the entire hotel is carpeted, which makes proper cleaning much harder.

There is no parking, only valet parking which I don’t like using since it takes time to get my car, and I like getting out of the hotel quickly. They way you should use $20 credit they give you at their Openair restaurant is very confusing, they should think better about more straightforward way to use it right at the restaurant instead of the lobby. Also, the shower handle was broken, and there is no coffee or tea maker in the room.

The room was quiet. They have a pool, gym, coffee shop, valet, restaurant, bar. The location is great. Staff very good.

The whole place was run down and our room was not very clean. You could see stains on the coffee table, power outlets didnt work, corner lamp was listing. Gym had not sanitation wipe down. Pool is small and run down,

The breakfast was really good, with a great selection, served in a nice atrium.

The hotel looks like an old cheap one that was given a partial upgrade and makeover but still has faded carpets, stained drapes and yellowing stucco ceilings. Its on a part of Wilshire that has grafitti, garbage and homeless people, so maybe good for people who want to be in that neighbourhood for nightlife but less so for families with children. For me the worst though was the hidden charges. Parking is an outrageous 66 dollars a night plus tax, which added an extra 25% to our room fee. We also didnt realize that there was an automatic service charge for all room service and restaurant service, and so, because the bill suggested tip amounts for 18%, 20% etc we ended up paying a whopping 35% tip each time, without anyone bothering to inform us at any point that service was included. In brief, I have never felt more ripped off in a hotel in my life.

La chambre que nous devions avoir au début était extrêmement bruyante, on entendait tout ce qu’il se passait dans la rue comme si les fenêtres étaient ouvertes, impossible de dormir. Et le jet de la douche était d’assez mauvaise qualité (l’impression de se laver avec un tuyau d’arrosage) Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre.

The location is great, the hotel is very cool.

It’s SUPER loud! I was here 2 years ago and there was a construction going on, which explained at the time the noise in the morning. Unfortunately, 2 years later, and construction finished, the noise continues to be massive, zero isolation..:

Size of room—ridiculous. Not enough room for 2 to walk around bed or place suitcase anywhere but on bed to access clothes, etc.; location was bad—drug paraphernalia on sidewalks all around hotel, did not feel safe, was not nice area to walk around especially at night.

This is quite a swanky place. It is ideally located by the Metro (line D), is directly opposite and thus good for easily getting to LACMA, the Car Museum and the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum. The rooms are spotless, local phone calls are included in the tariff, and there is a well equipped gym. I did not use the swimming pool. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The tariff includes $20 a day to be spent at the hotel, BUT note that oddly you cannot spend this on the day you are checking out for breakfast, which is annoying. There is a cool rooftop restaurant in the hotel, $20 does not go very far for dinner but does cover a delicious burrito for breakfast. My room faced Wilshire, and so even with double glazing was noisy, plus there was distant noise of a club somewhere that I could hear

The mimalist accommodations appeal to some. I like it because other hotels feel old and the Lin is modern. Nice pool and restaurant setup.

Parking is expensive. Almost all hotels charge for parking but 70 dollars a day what I had to pay.
