We only stars for 2 nights. Everything was excellent! Superb location if you’re after a peaceful and relaxing stay in a remote location. Facilities were great. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need in the riad and the views were breathtaking. I highly recommend a guided walk, this has made our stay! We had the best Moroccan food there. Mohammad went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and organised everything we needed. Staff were always happy to help. I hope we come back one day.
Our 8 year old was not that keen on the set Moroccan menu. We loved it.
Tucked off the beaten track and in a traditional mountain village. Beautiful views tucked in at the foot of the mountains. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Great place to base yourself to explore the hills and mountains. Delicious meals each day. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would certainly come back.
Paid for the room by card but had to pay for the food and extras in cash. No issue but just be aware. Wish the pool was heated as was still cold when we’re were there (didn’t stop us) and would be lovely and refreshing in the summer months!
My stay was peaceful and relaxing and I felt very well looked after. The house and surrounding are beautiful. Activities were available if you wanted or just sit back and soak in the scenery.
Her hører du stilheden.
Lovely location although limited on what is nearby, great place to relax and do nothing
No option to eat anywhere else other than at hotel as nothing else local
Everything was amazing, perfect location, great staff
Thank you to Jawad, Lathifa, and Fathima.
Shower. Leaking shower head and no proper drainage.
Absolutely everything. This place is stunning, quite, the views are breathtaking. The staff is incredible (Jawad is the best). A thousand thanks for those amazing few days. The food is divine, and Mohamed managed to make this place feel like home. When you get there you’d want the experience to never come to an end.
Great location, very good breakfast, nice decoration in the house, great outdoor areas, very friendly staff
Beds could be more comfortable but overall good beds
Such beautiful views and we were very well looked after throughout our stay by Mohamed and his team! The food was delicious and we had such a relaxing time by the pool but also spent one morning on a lovely hike.
✅amazing place ✅ Mohemmed is +++++ guide and experienced owner ✅ Hotel Room is +++ ✅ Mohemmed his collegues are very friendly ✅ Nature is great ✅ Food is 🥳 In short a brilliant place
Everything!!! great service
What an absolute oasis of serenity! Magnificent Atlas panorama with snow capped mountains. Towering over rural village life. Watching sheep, mules, olive trees and kids playing football until sun sets. On ne vas pas en Tigmi, on y arrive!
Everything!! Gorgeous!! 🩵🩷💙❤️
Location and food were excellent as where the guides provided by Mohamed
The requirement to pay by cash for everything was a little tedious and surprising
Mohamed, along with his entire team of attentive staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Tigme Nomade is stunning in decor and has beautiful views of the Atlas mountains and foothills. It is a quiet retreat, which suited us and Mohamed can arrange guided walks and tours upon request. We loved the 3 hour guided walk. The breakfasts and freshly prepared 3 course lunches and dinners were exceptional.
The staff was amazing!
There wasn’t much to explore by self closeby - you would need a car to get around or tours.
The venue, the food, and the warm hospitality of Mohammed and his team. It is also the perfect place to take some time off and get some quiet time.
Tigmi Nomade is a peaceful and beautiful oasis close to a remote village by the mountains. It is small, charming and beautifully put together, and offers stunning views of the rugged landscape and of the snowy peaks of the Atlas Mountains. The grounds and pool are really well taken care of, and the rooms are spotless. The location of Tigmi Nomade is great, as it only takes 45 minutes to get to the Centre of Marrakech, about an hour to get to the airport, and you can do wonderful day hikes in the mountains.
We liked everything!
Amazing views, beautiful surroundings and pool. It was so calm and quiet, beautiful food, lovely and friendly people. An experience by itself.
Nothing
The hotel totally met our expectations and its price was very accurate to the dates (New Year) and the amenities. It's a great hotel for both winter and summer, although in summer you can enjoy more the pool and terrace. We would totally recommend it. The meal was also delicious!
It might be a little bit cold during winter, because it's a Riad, and the home is build around an internal garden. However, the rooms have heating and the living room has a fire place that they open during the meals.
Tranquil setting with exceptional views. Beautiful walks all around. Food was good quality, fresh and plentiful. Staff discreet, but available and willing to help with anything, always with a smile. Property is spacious with many different outdoor areas providing privacy.
A beautiful riad with a stunning view of the nearby valley and snow capped Atlas Mountains in the distance. It’s super tranquil, the only sounds coming from the birds and occasional animals. The interior is tastefully decorated and our room was a generous size with a super comfortable bed and large bathroom. Mohamed is a fantastic host, warm, friendly, relaxed, regularly checking in with us and able to help whenever we needed it. The food was fantastic. Authentic, homemade, delicious and you could tell a lot of care had gone into preparing every dish. We were there in winter and had many meals by an open fire, which was heaven. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Jaouad, who also took us on an excursion to a local souk and a hike around the nearby countryside. It was amazing to be shown the area by somebody who grew up there and knew it inside out. Mohamed even arranged for some local musicians to treat us to a bit of live music on New Year’s Eve at dinner - a few drums and a guitar, singing and dancing, with Mohamed and Jaouad also playing - a truly unforgettable experience.
Nothing. We can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful hosts, we were made very welcome, food was excellent & all trips/excursions were made available with ease from the property. We look forward to returning in the future to explore some more of Morocco!
The stunning view of the Atlas mountains from the balcony, far from the city and the food especially dinner was amazing.
The road from the main road to the hotel which is in a remote area wasn't good and only cash payments for both room and dinner.
Jaouad en Mohamed where super hosts. So kind and helpfull! I loved the accomodation, so much detail and Work went into building this hotel. The staff and food is perfect. We are definately coming back
This is a tranquil place to relax & unwind away from the crowds. The pool and the surroundings were beautiful. Miohamed & his staff were perfect hosts, thinking of every need & suggesting outings for each day. The food was the best we ate in Mirocco.
Not a dislike but due to the location in a remots area along a bumpy track, it is advisable to request that Tigmi Nomade.provides all transport.
Excellent location. Stunning views and so peaceful. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and served to us by a lovely open fire. Evenings were cool. Went on excursion which was great
Take cash, no card maching
It is hard to put into words how wonderful this place is. It is peace itself. The surrounding views are spectacular and the property has lots of lovely spots to sit and soak in the views. Our room was large and beautifully designed. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was fantastic and the meals provided a lovely rhythm to the day. The staff were kind and friendly. At night a wonderful fire was lit in the lounge to relax by. I was a little nervous about heading out into the Atlas Mountains as two women and a toddler but as soon as we arrived I knew we had made the right decision. I also loved that it was owned and run by a Moroccan who had grown up right there in the Mountains rather than a faceless corporation. You feel like you have been welcomed into a home and you thank your lucky stars you are there.
There is nothing to dislike.
It's a hidden gem in the mountains. Rooms are in very good condition. Food is delicious but very expensive compared to Marrakech, and we only had one option. Staff is super nice but English knowledge is very limited.
Card payment is not accepted, cash is needed, Euros preferred. No heating in the rooms, although it is not needed most part of the year. Only dirt road access, driving experience is required. Internet is very poorly accessible.
Beautiful quiet location - a blissful haven Stunning location with Mountain View’s all around Delicious meals served with such care and presentation - generous and excellent value for money and varied dinner locations Kind and helpful friendly staff
Access road to Tigmi Nomade could be better Toiletries like shampoo would be most welcome
the overall welcome, surrounding overwhelming peace, calm, food, little touches of charm, authenticity,
I recall being calmly satisfied, it is now familiar
Location was rural which is exactly what we were looking for. They were very welcoming. A super place to relax after a busy few days in Marrakesh. We had a super day at the waterfall in Ourikia.
We would have liked our room to be tidied and waste in emptied daily. We were there three days.
The most beautifully styled hotel. Matchless design. Delicious food and the best service you could hope for.
A boutique hotel in a very remote location. Property is down a dirt road, hidden amongst a village in the hills. It was an amazing place to unwind away from the hustle & bustle of Marrekesh - only roosters, bleeting goats and lambs and a decent size pool to relax beside. Food was great - you do not get to choose the meals but the menu changes every day and you get to experience delicious traditional meals (tangines, keftas). Portions were big and with more than enough food across entree, mains & dessert. Staff were friendly and attentive - very accommodating.
Closest village for food was approx. 30 mins - 1 hour walk away (under the scorching sun), otherwise you have to eat at the hotel. Prices are in line with what's charged in Marrekesh, but quickly add up if you need to dine in every meal (also if you compare to the cost of eating at a local restuarant)
Most beautiful view from this peaceful hotel. Small, only a few rooms. Very intimate setting. The staff are very friendly, the food was good. You will want to have dinner there as it will be impossible to get to the house after dark. Our room was beautiful, we stayed for 3 nights which was just right.
The shower is simple and the water hardly drains. But the rest is perfect. You can come by taxi, but it is better to have a car so that you can explore the very rural surroundings.
Authentic Moroccan property in beautiful surroundings below the Atlas Mountains
Nothing
Wonderful peaceful rural location. Staff were all lovely, and very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, extremely clean and well kept. The room had heating and the shower was super hot and refreshing. The evening dinners were also excellent.
Wonderful location with the rolling hills and mountains stretching out from this private and secluded spot. Staff are great and very attentive and cooked up delicious dinners at a decent price. We came off the back of a road trip so just wanted to swim and read but there also excursions which are well rated. The shuttle to and from Marrakech was definitely worth it. All in all a brilliant few days of peace and solitude.
Small things but the breakfast was a little more simple than we had had at other locations and the rooms aren’t cleaned each day. Very minimal criticisms of an otherwise perfect hotel.
This was one of our most memorable stays. Tigmi Nomade is just beautiful and has the most beautiful and serene views! Mohammed was wonderful and really looked after us, took us to the local Berber market and organised an excursion for us. The home cooked dinners every night where the best food we had in Morocco. The pool area was relaxing and we loved the little tortoises strolling around. We had the best time and wish we could’ve stayed longer. We booked the suit room which was really comfortable, relaxing and very stylish! Thank you Mohammed and the rest of the team! We will definitely be back x
Nothing… Everything was perfect!
The owner and staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.
🕊The place peacefull ,amazing views, a lot beautifull trips. The owner very helpful and friendly. Our greatest recommendation!🕊
Atmospheric. Character. Food
All good but wifi needs improving downstairs Signage needed to get to the property. Difficult to find.
Amazing view and location, perfect for hikes and relaxation time So quiet Beautiful rooms Very nice staff Very tasty meals
Remember warm clothes for cold evenings and nights. No heating
If you're looking for a quiet place out in the hills, it's perfect. Beautiful views and great access to hiking. Also, Mohammed is an excellent host. (It's a bit tricky to find [or an adventure!], as the gravel and dirt roads are not clear and there are no signs, but Mohammed will come meet you if you are driving and need help.)
Excellent and authentic design of the property made you feel part of the community.
The only downside ie the road to get there. when you get to the property it is well worth it.
Beautiful quiet location and excellent well appointed property with friendly welcoming staff
Absolutely everything. The hotel and room is very traditional in design. On arrival we had rose petals on the bed and a mint tea prepared by Salah. The service from Salah and Mohamed was incredible, nothing was too much trouble for them. The chef prepared incredible Moroccan food and it was no trouble if we asked for anything unplanned. Excursions were also available and could be organised the day before. Honestly this hotel was incredible it was the highlight of our trip making amazing memories.
Nothing
Mohammed and his staff were very attentive. The evening meals were delicious. The views from the pool area and our room were spectacular.
Be aware that you are 4km away from the nearest town so it is best to bring snacks and drinks with you. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Beautiful location, really feels like an adventure getting there & an authentic dive into the culture. Mohamed and his team looked after us like family in this tranquil slice of the Atlas Mountains.
Very little. Shower and Wi-Fi could be better but as expected for the location.
Mohamed (the owner) is an excellent host. Their lunch and dinners are superb. The arranged 3hr hike ending with a lunch is superb. The area is so quiet! Our entire stay was great value for money.
The stay was one of the best trips I’ve ever had. The hospitality was through the roof, from breakfast, lunch and dinner to making sure I was comfortable in my room. I appreciated Mohamad going above and beyond to make sure I was having a great stay + also he was kind enough to drop me off at the airport early morning as my taxi didn’t arrive in time. I would 100% recommend this place if you are visiting Marakesh. The whole place is peaceful and you feel at one with nature + if you like to star gazing the terrace was magical
WiFi went in and out but they fixed it right away when this happened. However, this didn’t affect my stay at all
Amazing place to stay if you want somewhere peaceful and quiet. Mohammed was extremely friendly and helpful, as was Hameed. We had dinner at Tigmi Nomade each day (you need to let them know if you are eating in as everything is cooked specially for you, it's not a restaurant with choices). One day we paid extra to learn how to cook a tagine, which was great fun and delicious (as were the other dinners). We also had a light lunch one day, again very tasty and cooked specially for us. We had a hire car which I would recommend if you are staying more than a couple of nights and want to explore the area. The scenery is amazing in the area, and a walk up the hill opposite the riad to see the sunset (which Mohammed recommended) was fantastic. Overall, a great relaxing place to stay after the chaos of Marrakesh!
Swimming pool was a bit chilly, but other than that nothing!
Hotel in stunning location. Hamid could not do enough to help us on our stay. The food was absolutely delicious . Truly felt you were in mountains/ berber village yet with great pool and views
Payment required in cash, along with payment for excursions. This was difficult to access due to daily limits on accounts . Would not recommend camel trip. Scenery beautiful but felt camels were not treated well. Plenty of walks from hotel that you could do instead
The property and staff are lovely. The rooms are as advertised. Muhammed runs the show and is lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended!
The setting was beautiful. On a hill overlooking the nearby village. The hotel was peaceful yet with a buzzy atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, with fantastic air conditioning, making for a good night sleep. The pool was perfect, clean with towels and umbrellas provided. The food was great and we ate there on both nights. The staff were attentive and happy to help with anything, even helping to fetch the ball the boys were playing with when it went tumbling down the hill to the road below. Couldn’t have been a better stay. P.s Mint tea was the best we had in Morocco.
Nothing not to like.
Mohammed and his team were all very welcoming.
We LOVED this place. I would recommend that you ask Mohammed to organise the transfer as it is very remote, and the transfer was perfect. The food we had was by far the best food we had in Morocco, absolutely amazing. The pool is gorgeous and there was a tiny tortoise that came to say hi to us every day by the pool which my daughter loved. All of the staff were super lovely and couldn't do enough to help you. We would 110% recommend this place!
the property is beautiful, along with the surrounding scenery. small number of rooms so a very bespoke and personal experience
no shops within a 5km+ radius so definitely bring a few drinks and snacks - Although the home cooked food was incredible. word of advice - Take up their offer on airport transfers, the property is very remote and the transfers were very affordable and luxurious
The place is wonderful. A very nice pool and a beautiful location on the foot of the Atlas. Breakfast was good and the dinners were a treat.
Slightly difficult to get to. Although that is a part of the charm, too, I suppose. To have a remote location, usually means it is somewhat hard to get to.
Building, decor and location superb. Clean. Friendly. Helpful charming staff. Quiet and peaceful. Healthy food prepared from scratch using local fare. Proximity to nearest town - lovely walk through village.
Maybe coffee making facilities in room?
I arrived for 3 days to relax before exploring the maelstrom of Marrakech and was so enchanted by the riad with its incredible view of the Atlas Mountains, the serenity and the staff that I extended my stay by a further two days. An ideal spot in the hotter months as after an excellent breakfast you can drive / be driven / catch a bus into Marrakech for the day and return to swim in the large refreshing pool, nights are cool, the bedrooms are large, and you can enjoy their excellent Moroccan Tagines outside on the terrace. Mohammed, the owner, and his staff could not be more helpful and were happy to drop off and pickup guests at the local hammam I will definitely return 🤩 helpful hint - for a stress free start to your holiday I would ask Mohammed to arrange a pickup at the airport - 30 euros
A really special place. Mohamed has done a fantastic job building this accommodation where you really feel you have escaped from the rest of the crowd. The room was great, as were the staff and the food was delicious. We did a hike and cookery class there which was also a great thing to do. Mohamed was also kind enough to drive us down to the local public hammam in Tahanaoute! Couldn’t recommend highly enough
Beautiful surroundings and property. It's the perfect place to come and relax for a few days.
The view was breathtaking. The peaceful atmosphere of the properly was unbeatable. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable and part of the family. The breakfasts in the garden looking at the view I'll remember forever!
the view, pool, food and room were outstanding! we loved every minute of our stay! we could t recommend this hotel enough
The views are stunning. Very relaxing. Amazing food. Just what we needed after a few days in Marrakech. Mohammed also let us check-out late for free which was very kind.
Nothing, it was great
Excellent communication between Mohammed and ourselves prior to arrival, organising a taxi and food arrangements. Perfect place to unwind for total tranquility and calm in the foothills of the mountains. Breakfast etc was served outside with views across to the snow capped peaks. Varied and generous traditional set menus served sourcing the local produce and very well cooked. Mohammed organised a guided walk for us to the famous Asni valley including a Moroccan lunch by the river and taxi back - spectacular views and interesting insights into rural life. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom in local style with air conditioning / heater unit. There is a spotless swimming pool, plenty of loungers complete with sun hats and private places to sit within the garden and on the roof terrace. The staff are most attentive and helpful.
The WiFi signal is rather intermittent and not very strong. The pool is not heated which is a disadvantage at this altitude but Mohammed has plans for some solar power to resolve this in the future. Neither issues impact enough to prevent a future stay.
peaceful - isolated location
nothing
location- staff- food
plumbing issues which are being sorted
beautiful location, wonderful food, wonderful staff
it was perfect
All food was excellent and plentiful - no going hungry here. Lunch and drinks were provided on request. The views over the surrounding countryside and snow capped mountains in the distance were spectacular.
Mohamed and his staff were so lovely. The view is just unforgettable and you feel so relaxed as soon as you pass the doors! Thank you again
great facilities beautifully decorated great food great people
Tigmi Nomade is a beautiful place that is hard to describe in words. The view is spectacular, the food is super delicious and the staff is very friendly. Thanks to Mohamed, a wonderful host!
Dinner, breakfast, views, overall hospitality. Incredibly relaxed atmosphere and wonderful staff
