Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Christiane, notre hôte, prenait déjà soin de nous avant notre arrivée... Elle nous partageait déjà un petit bout du magnifique jardin de la maison. Nous nous sentions attendus. Nous avons pris plaisir à l'écouter raconter avec passion son vécu, l'histoire du Maroc, l'histoire du logement, etc... La belle piscine et les assises tout au bord permettent de se détendre face à une magnifique vue. Petit déjeuner avec des msemen minute, etc... Nous n'avons pas profité des autres repas ou soins proposés.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026J'ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour à Dar Louka, tous les ingredients étaient réunis pour que je m'y sente bien: l'accueil chaleureux de Christiane, le petit déjeuner d'Enza, la vue apaisante sur les montagnes, la piscine et le jardin soignés par Hamid!

Niks. Wifi was niet geweldig wat voor ons geen probleem was maar goed om te weten als je van plan bent om te werken.

Die Gastgeberin hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns zum Frühstück köstlich bewirtet.
Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute sehr wohl und heimisch gefühlt.

Dar Louka is a beautiful home and gave us everything we wanted - wonderful food, an idyllic setting, peace, lots of room space. Love, love, loved it! Thank you Christiane - I'll remember to use Google Maps next time!

the host is delightful, very friendly, helpful and kind. the place itself is at a beautiful scenic spot close to many green valleys . it's close to many amazing places (imlil, plateau de kik, ourika valley etc) were all within 40 minutes driving. the breakfast was nice as well!
the wifi was poor, we were able to use it for simple things like messaging but not streaming

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026J'ai passé un merveilleux séjour de 10 jours à Dar Louka.
La maison est magnifique, située dans la nature, entourée de montagnes. Je m'y suis tout de suite sentie bien. L'endroit est très propre et apaisant. La grande piscine et le jardin, très bien entretenus, sont un vrai plus. Tout est décoré avec goût par Christiane, la maîtresse de maison. Quelle femme incroyable d'ailleurs. Je garde un doux souvenir de sa gentillesse, sa générosité, son humour, nos discussions et son massage shiatsu qui m'a profondément régénérée.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux, tout comme les tajines, servis avec une entrée et un dessert.
Merci Christiane, Nzeha et Hamid, une équipe de choc, accueillante et discrète, qui sait s'adapter aux besoins de chacun

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026L'accueil par Christiane, Hamid et sa femme est super. On se sent directement comme à la maison. Ils sont aux petits soins pour que tout se passe bien. Le cadre est magnifique et reposant. La chambre est propre et la literie confortable. Super séjour, merci encore.
Dar Louka is an absolute gem, and our stay was truly memorable. Catarina was an amazing host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay, and her hospitality really elevated the whole experience.
The property itself is stunning. The views are breathtaking, with the house overlooking the Atlas Mountains — easily some of the best scenery you’ll find. The tranquillity and natural beauty around the villa make it a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind.
The only slight drawback is the final stretch of the journey: about 2 km of off-road driving from the main road. It can feel a bit isolated, especially at night, but once you arrive, the comfort and beauty of the place make it totally worth it.
Overall, the experience was amazing. If you’re looking for peace, scenery, and exceptional hosting, Dar Louka is highly recommended!

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025This is a true oasis. The landscape is breathtaking, the calm allows to unwind and calm down. The house and rooms are tastefully designed and everything is to the highest quality but not posh. As far as see understood, the kitchen can be used for preparing food. You can order a tajine to be eaten in the garden and home made by Nezha. The breakfast ist equally prepared by Nezha with a lot of love. Hamid, who takes care of the house is very kind and always there. If you want to explore the surroundings, you can benefit from a guided walk. We thank the entire team from Dar Louka for this incredible stay and will come back for sure.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt! Die Gastgeberin war super nett und sehr zuvorkommend – man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Der Pool ist modern, sauber und perfekt zum Baden. Auch die Zimmer waren top gepflegt und sehr sauber. Alles in allem wirklich eine großartige Unterkunft – absolut empfehlenswert!
Le lieu idéal pour se ressourcer, découvrir une nature brute loin des sentiers touristiques. Christine est très gentille et attachante , je reviendrais c’est certain .

Etwas versteckt gelegen, dafür umso ruhiger und idyllischer.
Das ganze Haus ist wundervoll eingerichtet und super sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit, genauso das Personal.
Die Unterkunft hat einen wunderschönen, sauberen Pool. Es gibt sehr leckeres, selbstgemachtes Frühstück.
Wir durften die Gemeinschaftsküche zum kochen nutzen.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Très bon petit déjeuner copieux (msemen, omelette, pain et accompagnements : confiture, beurre, miel, amlou). La piscine était incroyable, la maison grande.
C’est vraiment isolé. J’ai payé plus cher l’excursion vers la vallée de l’Ourika car je n’étais pas véhiculée. Il faut également prévoir les repas (faire les courses) avant car c’est loin de la ville. Hamid a été très gentil et m’a amené en ville afin que je puisse faire des petites courses.

Reviewed Jan 9, 2025Beautiful house in a serene location. Perfect for an overnight after a trip to the Atlas mountains or the desert before flying home from the airport in Marrakech.
The family room was super comfortable and clean and the host very friendly and responsive. If you follow the hosts instructions, the property is easy to find.
I would really recommend dar Louka!

Reviewed Oct 15, 2024Spacious and clean room, lovely breakfast, very kind host who gave us tips to see in the surroundings. Lovely home-cooked meal upon request. Good location near the Atlas mountains with a great view from the accomodation.
Swimming pool is great, whole villa is really clean. fantastic facilities.
the beds were too small for me and my friend. we are fairly tall people (around 6'2) and we really struggled to sleep without almost falling off the bed. also it seemed like there was a lack of privacy, the person who greeted us would always be laying on the sofa or following us around.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2023Such a lovely stay. Very clean and comfortable (I slept extremely well). There is beautiful garden with great views of the Atlas Mountains and a wonderful swimming pool. The host was lovely, provided great hospitality, food and company. For breakfast there was honey from the bees in the garden. I was shown one of the local souks and the host offered lots of knowledge of Morocco. Highly recommend either for those that want to relax with friends and family or to use as a base to explore the area and Atlas Mountains. Also very easy to get to from the airport. I look forward to staying again on my return to Morocco.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2023The house is one of the coziest places we’ve ever stayed! Elegantly furnished with eye for every detail, the property overlooks a valley and the snowy mountains. The garden is very beautiful and well taken care of and we got plenty of recommendations about Morocco by the lovely host Christine!
Is seems like Google maps and Maps are guiding you wrong towards the property. Make sure you take a good look at the map and take the white gravel road going directly to the house. Contact the host if in doubt - we’ve got good instructions and found our way through!
