Absolutely everything. The place, the area, the breakfast, the cottage, the hosts, the scenery, the ambiance…the perfect getaway.

The only thing I didn’t like is that I couldn’t stay longer 🥲

We had the most incredible time staying at Forever Cottage - the most fabulous hosts, the most incredible location and an absolutely stunning house to stay in. Grace’s food was incredible as was their hospitality. We would love to return some day and would 100% recommend

I can’t think of anything that could have been improved

I loved my stay at forever cottage. It was heaven Grace and her husband are such fantastic wonderful people. I would absolutely stay there again!

Such a cool place! I really regretted only having a short stay here! The hosts are both super nice and welcoming and additionally two very nice and calm dogs will take care of you. Waking up to a view like this one was really really nice. And lastly, this place is far away from all the "touristy" areas and that includes the vibe which is so much nicer here in my opinion.

If anything then you must be aware of the fact that the last few kilometers can take quite a while because of pot holes and depending on the weather mud. But I'd drive this road any day again - it's really worth it :-)

Its like staying with family. Grace and her husband are absolutely amazing hosts. Her cooking is incredible and they are so friendly and accomodating. You will leave with two new friends for sure. The propery is beautiful with an amazing salt water pool just over the ocean. The rooms are comfortable and true to the pics but note there is no AC but there are fans and ocean breeze which is perfectly fine. Its halfway between Ocho Rios and Port Antonio (Portland) and can be used as a base to explore or just stay and relax. I spent a few days here for my birthday and it was really fantastic.

The drive in is about 20 mins of very bad road and unpaved road leading up to the house. After the first drive its not so bad, SUV recommended. This is the only negative really. Not a negative but just to manage expectations the beach is rocky so walk with water shoes. While we were there it was rough due to the weather however the pool is incredible and more than makes up for this. It will be hard to leave the pool once you are in it. Walk with water and other essentials as this area is very very remote and take bkfst and dinner from Grace if you are staying in. Her cooking is amazing, arrange in advance.

Our host Grace was lovely and extremely welcoming! The property is a beautiful hidden gem at the Coast line and the dinner Served by Grace is simply delicious!

This place is really a heaven.

Amazing place! 12 out of 10! Breathtaking view with private beach. Very stylish designed rooms. Delicious meals. Grace and Lloyd are fantastic hosts who are always up for a chat. I felt very welcome.

Grace and Lloyd are phenomenal hosts and made my wife and I feel like we were part of the community from the moment we got there. We would highly recommend Forever Cottage for any one that is interested in exposure to Jamaican life away from the tourist areas and within a safe and tight knit community. The excursions (fishing, hiking, waterfalls) in the Robin's Bay area rival any on the island and the house and property itself is stunning.

The bad road

+ Location away from "tourist places" + Very friendly community + Grace and Lloyd are amazing people, gave us a lot of tips to places nearby, Grace even took us on the trip in surroundings and introduced us to some locals; Lloyd gave us beer and rum in the evening, it was really lovely! + Grace is really a great cook, we had breakfast and dinner almost every day and every day it was different and just perfect! + Grace told us a lot of local plants and fruits, helped us getting a driver for a trip, Lloyd helped us get rid of the beetle that scared us in the evening :) + There are two old friendly dogs - Luna and Bag, they are so lovely, my husband loves dogs and they always came so he could pet them! So cute, but not annoying at all <3 + The property is really huge! That way you always have a privacy if you need. You can chill on the beach, in hammock, go watching waves from the cliff or even make a campfire on various places. Everywhere it is so calm and soothing, really a place to relax your body and mind! If we ever come to Jamaica again, guess where we are staying :).
