The location was great , nice water, great scenery . The food we ate at dinner and lunch was exceptional. The bammy I had with my fried fish was the best I had ever tasted. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The road going down to the property was really bad, but the peaceful bliss and great customer service was worth it.

The hotel confirmed booking via Booking.com. The road to the property was disastrous, with many potholes, no lights and it took nearly an hour to cover 5 kilometres. The location felt remote and uneasy, and the main gate was chained shut. I tried calling the hotel several times with no answer, which was alarming as a foreign traveler with my elderly mother. I ultimately turned back and found safer accommodation elsewhere which wasn't easy that late in the evening. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

We got our cabin upgraded for free when we arrived. The main room, bathroom and the outside shower look so beautiful and we also had access to a private beach.

The property is breath taking, this resort is for when you want to get away and just relax, take in the nice sea breeze, enjoy swimming and just relax.

There is no ac in most cabins, they have started to install some but with the nice sea breeze and fans they provide, you will be fine

Beautiful location and such friendly staff. It really is a stunning property and staying at least one night allows you to have the beach to yourself after closing hours. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind

Dinner prices are a little high but that's not a huge concern.

The only thing I did not like and I hope it's a one off situation is the water pressure and the fact that we had no water on the last morning we were to get ready to leave. Please remember this isn't an all inclusive hotel this is a place to come if you want to relax and escape the hustle and bustle you will see lizards and other critters but they ate afraid of you..remember lol soo its not because of the place being dirty whybyou maybsee critters but its because these are cabins out in nature so simply sleep with the mosquito nets provided and enjoy the rustic flair and fresh sea breeze and play some board games and have fun. We enjoyed our time there we played football we used their kiddie swing area that had a real jamaican flair not fancy swings but real makeshift swings that reminds you of your Jamaican childhood. Their breakfast was ok and they made sour sop tea for us I don't remember her name but this one lady ensured we got our sour sop tea and was very attentive to us. If you arevstaying in the cabins you can cook your own food or you can buy from their restaurant. We are Jamaicans and overall we had a great time as we know how to make do and adjust to the little water situation. They went out of their way to rectify the water issues we had but being Jamaicans lol we had already found other ways to take a shower before the water truck came. I hope they sort out the water pressure issue in the to the wurl section of the cabin overall. Out of ten I give this place 8.

The water issue we experienced. I do not know if all the cabins have water issues . I think it was just ours because another set of person in another cabin who we came with didn't have water issues.

The food from the restaurant was good.

Music was playing from Friday continuously until Sunday evening. Sunday night was the only night that was quiet. I wasn't able to sleep.I should have been informed about planned events.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The view from our room was gorgeous. We enjoyed the food too.

The roads and signs could be better. It was difficult to get there.

We had our wedding there, and I can't stress this enough the staff on the property was amazing and strawberry fields itself was amazing. However, as I said we had our wedding there and the coordinator of chance that was provided to us, I would give a zero rating. Not only was communication terrible. The day of our wedding the reception area was set up last, it would make sense to set up the area that would be used first, first. I did not see the "coordinator" until hours of her being on the property, no in-person introduction from the person coordinating one of the most special day of my life, there was no coordination provided with the ceremony/reception, the wedding was late, no help in organizing the actual wedding ceremony, at one point, was told my MC that was in charge of the entertainment for reception was supposed to be responsible for the job of the coordinator My husband was asked to seat our guest by the coordinator that was responsible for such, when ask to do tasks the response was she was not dress appropriately to do so, as if she was not aware she was attending/coordinating a wedding, seem as if she had no experience coordinating. My guest were served cold appetizers and juice with no ice on a hot day in tropical Jamaica, the lack of interest was noted. My husband had to go buy ice, when he should have been relaxing and preparing for our wedding, I would not recommend (S.M). Im not sure if she understands or knows what the role of a coordinator is. Im writing this review because I don't want anybody else experiencing what I when through during and on my wedding day. I say again strawberry fields/ location, on property staff was amazing. Im just being honest with the coordinator of chance that was directed to us. I don't want anyone else experiencing such unprofessional behavior on what is supposed to be a very special day in their life. I could write more but ill leave it at that, 0/10 rating.

Overall the property needs a bit of TLC. Found it overpriced based on the lack of maintenance.

The breakfast was excellent. Great to have some fruit.

At night, there was no one there when we thought we had locked ourselves out.

This is a very unique experience. You have your own section of a cabin surrounded by beautiful green grounds with waves crashing all around you. Its in a little town on the seaside. The locals are very nice and you get to see a side of Jamaica you wouldnt see anywhere else. Its like a little pocket in paradise. Feels like a secluded camp ground with cabins. They have a nice beach that is sheltered by coral so you can swim around without the waves disturbing you. Its a great experience. Come with plenty of sodas and snacks because there is only a small market up the street. Come with anything you may need for a few days including bottled water. They do serve a nice breakfast and dinner on the premises for fee and it is good.

Cant really complain about much because i got familiar with the place before I arrived and knew what to expect. This place isnt polished but that gives it its charm. Its hard to maintain a place with constant sea water beating it up. Take it for what it is cause you are in a place like no other.

The place is amazing, beach is private and beautiful. The apartment was simple but clean and everybody was really nice. The meal in restaurant was tasty but pricy. This place is quiet and perfect for relaxation since it is far away from city.

The ants were really issue, it would be great to have there some anti insect spray. And we quite missing microvawe, we would use it more than stove. And a broom to remove sand from the room.

The constant sound of crashing waves made for a relaxing stay. The shower/bath with a spectacular view. The balcony looking out over the sea.

Kettle didn’t work. Toilet seat was broken, but we were able to work around these faults for the relatively short time we were there.

I liked almost everything. The place, the sraff and the locación.

There was no fridge or microwave in my room .

The location is to die for. The management, security is particulary good and the staff attitude is above average standards. This place qualifies as a hidden gem.

Food was excellent, the beach was beautiful and the people were wonderful and friendly.

I did not eat breakfast as I was disappointed with dinner the previous evening. The location is beautiful but the place is a bit dated and is need of a splash of paint and modernization. The bed was super comfortable and the cottage was lovely.

- There was not alot of choices for dinner and I was extremely disappointed with the dinner I received. - The placed seemed a bit dated. - The kitchen apliances were all old and rusty.

entertainment (other than the beach) was lacking. No TV, No activities (These could have been optional for guest). The roads to the property poor.

The food was absolutely delicious. The people were very kind and friendly. When the power went out, reception allowed me to use their phone and I was provided with a lamp. The room was beautiful (I stayed in the Love Nest), as was the view outside of my window; it opened directly on to the sea. I loved hearing the rushing of the waves. A great abundance of nature. I wanted to support the local business rather than a resort. It is open to the public during the day, so will see lots of families sharing the facilities.

The location is very remote so a car is definitely needed (the road can get very bumpy and it is quite a drive from the main road). It can't be helped of course but there was a power cut in the morning and only came back at night. The Love Nest is very impressive, though there are quite large gaps in the wall, which means bugs (and one roach) though it is a very natural setting, so that was to be expected. The bay is very small and the ocean is quite rough so not quite the place for a relaxing swim, as it can get a little crowded.

customer service staff was not available upon arrival and no number to call on the office door. we had to drive to find the attendant who was home at 7:45 pm

Waking up the next morning after a long travel day to the island to loud talking and what sounded like a school field trip- I come out to about 20-30 strangers on the property- who was gonna use it for the day. We immediately were irritated and after that couldn't sleep, just got up and went to go eat and get out of there as SOON AS POSSIBLE. I had reached out a month beforehand to make sure all costs were taken care of and was just told all we were if we wanted breakfast, lunch, or dinner would be a "separate cost from the accommodation". Bugs from the outdoors everywhere- I couldn't sleep thinking something was on me- boyfriend received a bad bite overnight that rashed out throughout our whole trip. When it was time to check out because we had food the evening of arrival (fried fish and bammy) and breakfast the next morning legit (just eggs, bacon, and bammy) I was charged $100 alone for food for which we don't think $100 was a lot for what we had ordered..on top of them telling me I hadn't paid reservation when I had specifically reached out in advance to make sure this was all handled and was told just about the food accomdation. so here I go having to take out cash from my pulled money that wasn't supposed to be used for this because we had already expected this to be taken care of when I booked- and when I asked about it ahead of time.
