Villa Casablanca Surf Keramas

I liked the property because it was a short walk to Keramas, had a great breakfast, and offered really good lunch and dinner options. Scooter rentals were just a short walk down the road, and it was also close to Kommune Beach Club for a nice date night and cocktails. The bed and room were very comfortable, making it a great place to relax after surfing.

We like the staff and the swimming pool.

We didn't like the bright skylight with a big opening to animals and bugs to come inside the bathroom. The sun wasn't good for my husband, he can't be in the sunlight and it was too much UV for his skin.

Very noisy, they did ofer us a more quiet room but one bed only. there is constant noise from the shower window and from the road as well.

There is also a bidet. * 🏖️ **Pool towels provided** – No need to worry about using or bringing our own towels to the pool. * 🎶 **Beautiful holiday atmosphere** – I loved the music they played around the restaurant and pool. It really made us feel like we were on vacation. * 🍽️ **Amazing food** – The food was delicious and the portions were just right for my son and me. * 📶 **Good Wi-Fi** – The connection worked well during our stay. * 🗣️ **Easy communication** – The staff understand English, which made everything much easier for me. * ❤️ **Overall** – Clean, cosy, safe, private and relaxing. As a mum travelling alone with my 9-year-old, I really appreciated how easy and comfortable our stay was.

The aircon was a little weak, so the room felt warm. The power socket/adapter couldn’t charge my laptop properly, but the staff were helpful and tried to assist. At night, there were some loud animal sounds near the bathroom and a burning smell came into the room, so we didn’t sleep very well. The TV was quite slow at first, but once the movie played, it was fine. Netflix was provided, which was a nice bonus. I only stayed for 1 night, so this is just based on my experience. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great location for Keramas beach. Pool was nice and the property was clean with good facilities.

We felt the property lacked a bit of character and not quite as portrayed online. There only a few sun beds and not a swim up bar. We booked for 4 people but only two were included for breakfast. Then other coffees etc were charged on top.

Staff were really attentive and the pizzas were delicious. The rooms are comfy, and spotlessly clean. But overall, the best thing about the hotel is the manager. Also, the pool is small but very well appointed. It's only a short walk to the ocean,, where there's a great warung, right on the beach. Don't bother going to the nearby Australian owned beach club, where the food is terrible, and really expensive. Instead, support a local business!

My best experience of the place was the staff, extremely courteous and helpful

Even though i kept putting the towel aside for replacement, rhe cleaning staff would keep hanging it back or leave it on my Chair.. Maybe you can introduce some guidelines on if the guest wants the towels to be changed then where should they put it.

Nice size resort. Not too big and the staff were great. Excellent breakfasts that were included in our price. Stayed 5 nights.

We arrived at about 1:30 in the morning and the Security guard couldn’t find our room - took about 30 mins. Air conditioner didn’t work so the next day we were moved to a different room. Staff were very good and accommodating.

The hotel has a really peaceful setting and the staff are friendly & helpful, the rooms are clean & comfortable with a nice aesthetic. The big pool and restaurant area is also perfect for relaxing. Only a short walk to the beach there are also some restaurants and cafes nearby.

5min walk from Keramas beach, very nice friendly staff, especially Anis which helped for whatever suggestion and need, and nice food for both breakfast and lunch/dinner

The staff were the shining light at this property… clean kitchen with beautiful food but assistant manager was the highlight, she was so kind and friendly and always helpful.

The shower pressure was almost non existent but I am sure an easy fix.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist in Gehdistanz zum Strand. Ich konnte jeweils barfuss zum Strand spazieren.

Food and drink getting a bit pricey.

The people who work there, amazing human beings. They took proper care of me and my friends, we have the best days ever. Very close to the beach!

The facilities are amazing, the value for money is unbeatable, and everyone working there is incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is absolutely spectacular — honestly, just spectacular.

Breakfast was very good. You can choose one meal from their breakfast menu and the sandwich was very good. The staff was very friendly and the pool is amazing. The location is great.. 5 min walk to keramas beach and surfing breaks.

The bedroom didn't have small fridge where we could buy water, fruits and drinks. A small fridge would be great addition to the bedroom. The bedroom is quite small but for a surfer is big enough. The bathroom is quite spacious but full of insects and little crabs. I don't mind much but my partner complained a bit. I was told that the water dispenser had cold water but it was warm or boiling.. not cold.

The bathroom is open air!! it is included in the room but no a/c and when it rains the rain comes through the ceiling andthe floor and anythingyou left on the floor is wet! there were several downpours at night and the floor was covered with bugs. Very hot and humid in the bath as you are outside This info Open Air Bathroom is not included on the description and if it was I would not have stayed there. Breakfast was NOT good at all. Need lessons on how to cook. The room is too small. No place to put your suuitcase. The entire room is taken up by the bed.

Definitiv nicht mehr als 3sterne Ich frage mich wirklich wie hier die sternevergabe gelaufen ist. Bettwäsche, Bäder und Handtücher waren nicht sauber. Boden im Pool war glitschig.

Great location and great food This place was a good spot to be during the flood in September

The hotel was okay and bed very comfortable but I was surprised the room size was so small and bathroom too big. Bathroom had wasted space, room design not well thought out. What I didn't like was no surface space on night stand. The hotel was very clean and great condition. The breakfast was very good but I asked the waitress if the cook knew how to cook an over-easy egg and she said 'yes'. I got my egg sunnyside up and over cooked, meaning that the yolk was at a medium well. I honestly laughed to myself because my experience here in Indonesia so far, no cook knows how to cook and over-easy egg. I have to reach out to the hotel staff being extremely tentative and customer focused, kudos to them. While I was in the pool I noticed several flying insect nests under the arm of a chair and rattan table, I mentioned it to one of the staff and I was surprised to see they quickly they jumped on cleaning out both furniture pieces. I truly didn't expect such a quick response.

This place for me was amazing! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was great but could have had a few more options. Loved that is was a few minutes to one of my Fav beaches.

The safe in the room could be upgraded to a bigger one for the size of a laptop. I had been travelling about a month prior in Indonesia and all of the accom prior had wide and deep safes with more than enough room for other valuables as well as a laptop. I did not see a gym there, the one I did see I was told it was for the owner only. Same with the two pools on the other side of the building they were for private residents. The ones in the pictures. The rooms are not totally sound proof either. In the bathroom I think it was the resort next door every moring I could hear the blue tooth speaker turn on with punk music very loud. I am aware this is a hostel sort of accom so it did not bother me much. Once in the bedroom area it was quiet. These are small issues that if one has not travelled a fair amount may be off putting. All in all very great resort and cannot wait to come back to it.
