Ras tout etait bien comme d'habitude

Heel aangenaam verblijf (met gratis parking) en op wandelafstand van het aquarium en de hoger gelegen stad. Perfect om op verkenning te gaan. In de buurt een heerlijke en grote Boulangerie Sophie waar men ook ter plaatse kan eten (ontbijt, broodjes, pizza, ...). Wij hadden de eenvoudige studio met zetelbed (kraakt een beetje maar toch goed geslapen). Wat beter kan gecommuniceerd worden is het keukenmateriaal. Als je koffie of thee wilt moet men zelf alles meebrengen, dus koffie en filters, theezakjes, enz. Prijs-kwaliteit zeer goed.

Good property the room was listed as a studio, this means a bed-sit with a sofa bed. I hasten to add that this was made and ready to sleep in. The man on reception was very helpful when we arrived and explained everything that was required.

Après une journée de salon on a besoin de calme, chambre au 8eme étage avec une petite terrasse, dommage que la tempête Amy était de la partie. Bonne expérience.

The entrance is not very obvious and when we tried to check in reception was closed. The main door was locked and you needed a code to get in through it which we were not provided. Luckily we had friends staying as well who opened the main door so we were able to get to the reception but when calling the number to request for staff to come down noone picked up. We contacted expedia who found the same. Eventually someone turned up to check us in and after then it was fine but check in was a mess. The hotel should provide everyone with the code to enter the building the week before check in incase noone is at revption so at least you can get into the building and are not stuck outside in the cold! Room was small but the hotel id a convenient location.

Balcony door did not lock

Cet établissement est très beau et super bien situé à Boulogne-sur-Mer. Tous les lieux d'intérêt principaux sont accessibles à pied, et il y a des restaurants et même le Méga Cinéma juste en face. Notre studio était propre, confortable, chaud, lumineux, magnifique !! Nous avons eu la chance d'être au 8e et dernier étage, avec une vue splendide. Le parking est sécurisé et possède un accès direct à l'immeuble. Je recommande vivement cet Evancy !

Chambre propre, clim bruyante

This property does not offer the usual daily hotel cleaning services - the bed is not made daily, room trash is not removed daily, towels are not replaced daily, soaps/ shampoos are not replenished daily. However it is well situated with easy access to the city. Towels: For a room with 2 guests we were provided 2 large towels, 1 hand towel, and a bath mat. We were told fresh towels cost extra. Toiletries: one very small container of soap, and one small container of shampoo were provided. Additional soap/ shampoo can be purchased. Wifi: the TV was unable to connect to the hotel wifi. Our personal electronics had no issue connecting the wifi. View: most rooms seem to have a balcony. Ask for a room with a view over the marina, you'll have a great view of the sunrise. Deposit: there is a deposit to be paid upon check-in. It was refunded back within 12 hours of checkout. Bed: the bed in our 2-person room was the bed from a pullout couch. Location: it is well situated and you can easily walk to the various restaurants/ shops/ cafes/ old town etc. Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner: available for purchase but the menu is not worth the cost. It is cheaper to eat in the city. ATM: there is an ATM within walking distance of the hotel that does not charge a fee for withdrawals with a foreign card. Reception/ staff: the staff are polite, helpful, and speak english. Overall if you can manage your expectations it is a reasonable stay for the price.

Modernes, helles Studio mit tollem Ausblick. Nettes Personal. Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich komme wieder.

We enjoy staying here and loves the seaview. Everything is good. We will stay here again.

Checked out in a hurry without a shower and without breakfast for my kids, as there was flooding in the building and had to carry our luggage and walk down the stairs for 6 floors! Staff didn’t even offer take away breakfast as it was available!!

Locatie was top. Over het algemeen wel een aangenaam verblijf gehad maar meubilair was aan vervanging toe. (Kinderbedjes en badkamermeubel)

We were very pleased with our stay. Cleanliness was exceptional and the communication with the staff was outstanding.

Amazing place

La résidence a un état général passable. La vue est belle car nous avions expressément choisi cet appartement autrement, il y a un vis à vis avec la résidence pour personne âgée du côté des chambres. Le lit deux places est très petit, il est très difficile de dormi à deux dessus. Par contre le personnel est très accueillant et adorable.

Fantastic place to stay. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time but they got us a coffee each. We got into our room. Lovely view and everything was fab. Little kitchen to make your own food. Kettle, fridge and dishwasher. Just needed to go shopping to get the essentials. Short walk to everything.

Sauber und gute Lage

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad alleen is er veel lawaai s'avonds en s'nachts. Er zijn op loopafstand verschillende restaurants en supermarkt aanwezig.

Nice clean property which is modern and well equipped.

Pratique, moderne, propre. Seul les matelas sont un peu trop mou. Et l accès à la douche pas toujours évident par rapport à l ouverture de la porte. Il faut souvent se doucher porte ouverte. Rien de bien grave.

Nice location. Smallish second bedroom for 2. Water pressure is horrible, with a tricle mostly. The pillows are terrible, had to buy our own. No one came to repair the water issue despite telling the receptionist. Cabinets in kitchen under sink dirty. Sofa seen better days. All in all good location and a quiet hotel which was nice.

La résidence est située à la limite de la rivière Liane, à proximité d'un arrêt de bus. Hormis une boulangerie, il n'y a pas de commerce alimentaire proche, ce qui est très gênant. L'environnement est joli (vues sur la rivière) mais bruyant (rue passante, manèges à proximité). Le studio est agréable avec un petit balcon mais il est d'un confort limité, surtout au niveau literie (canapé déplié), et de l'absence de volet (rideau opaque). Grande proximité avec la résidence sénior en face. Peu de place pour ranger ses affaires (petit meuble). Le coin cuisine est bien achalandé. Tout était très propre. Dame à l'accueil très serviable.

Ideale uitvalsbasis voor een weekje Boulogne sur mer. Handig dat je de wagen in de ondergrondse garage kan plaatsen. Spijtig genoeg rekenen ze hier wel een meerprijs voor aan per nacht.

Mooi appartement voor een paar dagen in Boulogne-Sur-Mer

Poussière sur le sol de la salle de bain, sur les meubles et lampes. Les rideaux et les murs sont tachés. La douche a plusieurs cernes orangés. Les oreillers et le lit ont seulement une simple taie ouverte et un drap plat, on touche donc directement la mousse dans l'oreiller.Il n'y a pas de filtres pour la cafetière.

Rien de défavorable. Propreté,accueil,communication impeccable. Un peu vieillot niveau batiment. Seul bémol : parking difficile d'accès vu environnement.

We stayed as a family of 4 for a few days, the room was quite small but was clean tidy and organised. Well equipped for families. I think the walls could be painted and the TV channels could be improved as they were all in French. An enjoyable and comfortable stay otherwise and perfect location! Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet rooms too, no disturbances.

Séjour peut satisfaisant

I am still waiting for my damage deposit to be returned. Perhaps I can give a better review then. We were not made aware of the deposit previous to showing up as well! Renter beware! Property next door was under construction as well.

Horizon bouche avec vis à vis proche sur une résidence senior, une éolienne et une écluse. 3 couverts, pas un de plus. Minuscule. Quelle déception ! Et l accueil a peine correct à l arrivée…. Evancy m a habituée à mieux que cela…. Le soleil était au rendez-vous en levant bien la tête….

Séjour de deux jours. Le sol était collant à notre arrivé. Nous l’avons signalé. Mais cela n’a pas été pris en compte car il l’était toujours le deuxième jours. C’est très décevant. Le nettoyage semble être réalisé rapidement et sans contrôle.

Bon séjour, hôtel bien situé pour les visites, proche de Nausicaa. Studio très propre bien équipé avec une très belle vue. Juste petit bémol pour l'accès au parking, la route est en travaux, difficile d'accès. Parking excessif 13€.

Très bon séjour, de beaux logements

4 night stay in late February. We booked a 2 bed apartment( 1 double and small room with bunk beds). Had corner balcony overlooking the Liane river towards town. Heating worked a treat intact had to open windows to cool down. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, resolved an issue with broken hair dryer swiftly. Booked parking for our stay in the underground car park belonging to Evancy. Checkout is usually 10.00 but we paid the extra to extend until 14.00. deposit taken on arrival was back in my account by the evening of our return home. Apartment is a15 min stroll into main shopping/ restaurant area. A longer steep uphill trek to the walled town ( approximately steady 30 mins.

Perfect location for parents with kids. Easy walking to city center. Plenty of parking near universitiy. Clean. Decent room size. Quiet Toilet is small and no air circulation. We stayed in August and we brought our own fan as it was hot in August. I would definitely come back if i have to visit again

Helpful staff, clean, modern room, lovely view of the marina, great location - short walk to old town and short drive to aquarium. Love the family rooms with kitchenette. Have been there twice and would recommend.

Nette locatie, licht en schoon appartement, kleiner als verwacht met name de slaapkamer met stapelbed. Alles is op loopafstand te bereiken.

Very nice for two people

Très bien ! Bel appart, grand et très propre. La vue sur le port et la ville, magnifique ! Équipements au top. Petit bémol : quelques remontées d'odeur de la mer vu la proximité avec le port. Je garde un très bon souvenir de mon séjour en famille.

Chambre pas terminée. Clim pas installé, fenêtre des chambres verrouillées… très chaud dans le logement. Voisin extrêmement bruyant. Zone en travaux…

Très belle ville. L’hôtel est très bien situé. Vu sur le port, proche de la gare, à 10 min à pied de la plage et de l’aquarium Petit commerce et boulangerie à côte également. Durant notre séjour la fête foraine était installer au pied de l’hôtel. Les enfants étaient ravis. L’appartement est grand et bien aménagé, rien ne manque si on souhaite cuisiner. Marché de poisson à 5 min à pied. Magnifique sejour

Cuisine très bien équipée et balcon très agréable.

Problème avec le chauffage, il fait trop chaud. Pas de porte savon pour le savon donc pas hygiénique. Il y avait des cheveux qui ne nous appartenaient pas sur la couverture. Des traces noires sur les murs. La serrure des WC manquante et la porte qui grince comme dans les films d’horreur. Le cadre est magnifique malgré les travaux en face de la chambre. Malgré tout ça, c’est un très beau bâtiment et je pense que nous reviendrons.

The apartments are well equipped, clean and in a great location. Staff were friendly and eager to help - and the parking was effortless and secure! The hotels location allowed easy visits to all local amenities and gave a lovely spot to relax in, with great views from the balcony.

Property was in a good location, within walking distance to a few attractions and amenities. Actual apartment was very run down, dirty, not anything like the photos.

Difficult to find entrance to hotel when driving, no signage.

In a sentence, I'd urge anyone to look elsewhere. To justify that, I'll add some detail: - They say you'll receive an email close to the date of check-in. You won't. - They take forever to reply to communication. - They say there isn't a reception. There is and we were told on arrival that it opens until midnight (a positive they should share!) - The location is awful. It sits in a wasteland beside a harbour. Don't picture a beautiful Mediterranean marina - clear dealing of drugs between our building and the next, an army of 25cc chicken chasers rev through the night by teenage chavs, a summer fairground blaring until 12.30am and the permanent smell of rotting fish. Litter blows across the wasteland and a circus set up beside the building 2 nights before we left (luckily opening after we departed!) - The accommodation was well proportioned for a family of 4, but was equally as filthy as the docks outside. We had to buy cleaning wipes to attack the bathroom, kitchen area and table/chairs before contemplating using any of them. The table/chairs were so sticky that I can only assume they were wiped down with maple syrup before arrival. Hairs adorned the double bed, the walls were so marked that it was hard to tell what colour they were when painted (the building must be quite new too, which makes this feat quite imlressive if we weren’t required to stay in it). -Communication was very poor.We did request a full refund to leave -it took 2 days to, of course,have the ask declined

Terrible parking conditions

The photos of the apartment when booking created an expectation that was even close to being met. Very very poorly built, tired in all places, the smallest bedrooms you can imagine and a bed for midgets.

Idéalement situé en proximité du centre ville et de la plage... pas besoin de voiture pour profiter du séjour ! Nous recommandons !

Le logement était nickel, très propre. Très bien placé, à 10 minutes à pied du centre et de Nausica. Le personnel de l’établissement aux petits soins, très aimable. Je recommande vivement Evancy Boulogne sur Mer.

Helpful details sent before the trip. Plenty of free parking opposite. Great position for beach, old town and restaurants. Really pleasant check-in staff. Property very clean.

Etablissement recent. Appartement propre et agreablement agencé. Au 7eme etage il etait lumineux. Bemol : la surface des chambres est un peu étroite et comme dans bon nombre de location, l'equipement en vaisselle est minimaliste. La vue est sur un secteur en pleine renovation, chantiers a 180°... logement a proximite de Nausicaa.

Worked well for us as a one night base. Pet friendly, nice views over the dock. Area around the hotel undergoing building work so quite dirty and walkways blocked by barriers. Didn't notice any noise. Check in and out easy. Car park spaces quite small and the dust from the building work all over the floor of car park so putting your bag on the ground is a mistake! Facilities in the room basic but more than adequate. Easy walk into the town centre.

Nice little hotel. Lots of work was going on when we was there and a strong smell of sewage in the area made it unpleasant in the room

The property is nice and very clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is great overlooking the marina and within a walking distance to the beach, the towns shops and the supermarket. We parked for free nearby opposite a nice bakery only 2 minutes walk to the hotel, we could see our car from the balcony. The bakery is a plus as it opens very early in the morning and sells bread, pastries, sandwiches and pizza so great for buying meals.

Lovely apartment, no wifi due to building works. Location was very convenient to the town and aquarium. Lovely fish market nearby and other farmer markets too.

Noisy building works all round No WiFi

We turned up and it was a building site with no footpaths or clear parking. Signage was appalling so we didn’t know where to go. It was not clear that this was the case when booking, and it was not appropriate for a young family, so we left for an earlier train home. We have requested a refund but have not received anything from Evancy yet.

Déception pour un week-end exceptionnel ce fut une suite de catastrophe. Toilettes bouchées, pas d’eau dans l’immeuble, odeur forte d’égout partout. Quand l’eau est revenue, c’était imbuvable, très trouble. Nous avons reçu 2 petites bouteilles d’eau pour 4, le 4eme lit pas fait, la 4eme serviette n’est pas arrivée malgré nos relances. Murs avec des traces, pas de tables de chevet, rien pour poser nos affaires dans la salle de bain, portes de douches qui ne ferment pas, on sent un manque évident de finitions. Prix vraiment excessif pour la prestation attendue et photos de l’appartement qui ne correspond pas du tout au réel. Par contre, vue sur le port, la mer et les bateaux.

Appartement premium 6 personnes très confortable, propre et bien équipé. Bien situé, personnel accueillant. Le seul bémol est le secteur environnant qui en travaux actuellement. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Un état déplorable, une réservation pas fait comme il était prévu l’état de l’appartement dépitant, des taches sur les murs et les sols, l’état de la vaisselle non nettoyer, le rideau occultant trop petit je suis très déçu, l’odeur de l’humidité dans les couloir et des remontées dégoût dans l’appartement, je ne recommande pas du tout cette hôtel très décevant je ne reviendrai pas

Très agréable, propre, pratique. Rien à redire si ce n'est le matelas un peu trop mou. Pas facile non plus d'entrer dans la douche et de refermer la porte (assez étroit) Mais dans l'ensemble c'est très bien ! J'y retournerai.

Great location, with underground parking available, quite new building, friendly staff. Nice big apartments, great for families. BUT the mattress quality is poor - which makes for an uncomfortable sleep.

Bonjour, Accueil très chaleureux, très à l'écoute concernant toutes demandes. Le logement est très magnifique, pratique, on se croirait comme chez nous. Et pour une deuxième fois venu chez vous, j'en suis hyper contente. Très hâte de pouvoir revenir.

Eine tolle Unterkunft: Freundliches Personal, eine schöne Stadt, nette Ausflugsziele. Gute Restaurants in Laufweite. Hotel direkt am Yachthafen.
