- the hotel manager/owner Clarissa is a sunshine! She was extremely welcoming, very friendly and kind. Gave us many tips, shared with us a bit of her background. She and her family take care of the hotel and are always present. Her daughter is the cutest! She will help you and guide you with everything, bicycle rent, best restaurants, takeaways etc. - we stayed for 5 days and it seems they recently renovated some of the rooms. - the full complex is very nice, you have some nice shared areas right in front of the beach, many chairs, sun-beds and the pool. - the location is perfect in La Digue, most people rent bicycles but we don’t, so we easily walked around the main attractions… 25/30 min walk to famous Anse Dargent beach, 10 min walk to the ferry port etc. it is very easily connected. - right next to the hotel there’s an amazing beach bar and a pizzeria too, I really recommend We loved our stay!!

- is a pity they don’t have a restaurant/bar by the beach as the area would be very nice for it! With that amazing beach front a nice bar even with small bites would be perfect.

Wir hatten sehr wunderschöne große Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer. Die Unterkunft war sehr familiär und die Besitzer sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt. Es ist ruhig und trotzdem mitten im Zentrum. Nebenan ist direkt ein gutes Restaurant und eine Strandbar.

Die Lage direkt an der Anse Reunion ist toll. Zudem hatten wir Meeresblick gebucht und konnten daher direkt beim Aufwachen aufs Wasser schauen.

Anscheinend lebt diese Unterkunft von der Lage und der Aussicht, oder wir hatten einfach Pech. Es begann damit, dass uns bei der Ankunft von der Managerin Clarissa mitgeteilt wurde, dass normalerweise ein 15-Liter-Kanister Trinkwasser zur Verfügung gestellt wird, dieser aber momentan ausverkauft sei. Wir könnten ja den Rest der vorherigen Bewohner verwenden. Später stellten wir im nächstgelegenen Supermarkt fest, dass diese Kanister sehr wohl erhältlich waren. Weiter ging es damit, dass pro Person nur ein einziges Handtuch zu finden war. Kein Handtuch für Hände, Haare oder Gesicht, und auch keine Duschmatte. Diese Gegenstände lagen dann nach unserer Nachfrage am nächsten Morgen auf der Terrasse. Leider waren die Handtücher nicht sauber. Eines dieser Handtücher war so dreckig, dass wir es beim besten Willen nicht verwenden wollten (Foto anbei). Frische Handtücher erhielten wir nach erneuter Nachfrage am vierten Tag. Die Duschtür ist nicht nur extrem verdreckt, sondern hat zudem einen etwa 1,5 cm großen Spalt, wodurch man kaum ohne Überschwemmung duschen kann (Foto anbei). Am zweiten Tag schrieb ich Clarissa eine Nachricht, dass ich bereits drei Abortfliegen getötet hatte und bat daher um eine dringende Reinigung der sanitären Räumlichkeiten (siehe Foto einer Abortfliege unter dem Fernseher und Fotos des dreckigen Badezimmers nach der Ankunft). Das Bad wurde daraufhin tatsächlich gründlicher gereinigt. Der Geruch im Badezimmer war durchwegs äußerst unangenehm. Sowohl vor als auch nach der Reinigung, daher hatten wir Türe zum Badezimmer immer geschlossen. Strandtücher erhielten wir erst am dritten Tag und nach dreimaligem Nachfragen. Ein Föhn war ebenfalls nicht zu finden. Nach dreimaligem Nachfragen, sowohl bei Clarissa selbst als auch bei I'naya, hatte ich noch immer keinen Föhn und ließ meine Haare schließlich lufttrocknen. Einen Wäscheständer gab es ebenfalls nur auf Nachfrage.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé l'accueil de la gérante. Elle est très sympathique et nous a donné plein d'informations intéressantes pour visiter l'île. La piscine et la terrasse en bord de plage sont très agréables.

L'éclairage et la décoration des chambres sont assez basiques mais sont en cours de modification parce que la guesthouse vient de changer de gérant. Tout est donc en voie d'amélioration.

Das Apartment hat eine sehr gute Lage. Besonders schön ist der direkte Zugang zum Meer und der kleine Pool. Geschäfte und Restaurants sind ebenfalls bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, was sehr praktisch ist.

Das Zimmer war allerdings kleiner, als es auf den Bildern.

Locatie direct aan een prachtig strand/zwembad ook aanwezig. Zeer centraal gelegen en toch een fijne rustige locatie om je terug te trekken. De eigenaresse geeft een voortreffelijke service en heeft aandacht voor detail. Wij zouden ons geen beter verblijf kunnen wensen!!! Genoten van de overheerlijke ontbijtjes met: verschillend vers fruit/fruitsap/koffie/thee/heerlijk brood/cake/ei/jam etc. Super schonen kamer..airconditioning ..water dispender…koelkast..waterkoker..kopjes..glaswerk etc. Een save waar je waardevolle spullen kan bewaren. Fietsen zijn ook geregeld door de accommodatie etc.

-piscine très abîmée -équipement tout est dans son jus et en très mauvais état. Les chaises à l’accueil se brise avant même que l’on s’asseoir dessus. -pas de petit déjeuner. -extérieurs sales. -la piscine est toute blanche à cause du liner abîmé. Je déconseille totalement cet établissement. Merci à la dame qui gère tant bien que mal l’établissement sans moyens car son patron refuse d’investir.

Die Lage ist wirklich super... Das ist jedoch das einzig positive was wir berichten können...

Leider können wir die vorherigen guten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Leider hat die Unterkunft unseren Aufenthalt auf der Insel ziemlich getrübt.. Unser Zimmer wurde beispielsweise während unseres Aufenthalts ( 4 Nächte) nicht einmal gereinigt. Neue Handtücher gab es nur auf Selbständige Nachfrage.. Und diese waren auch total fleckig. Unsere beiden Kinder haben im Wohnzimmer auf einer Schlafcouch und einem Zusatzbett geschlafen. Es gab keine Klimaanlage in dem Raum. Bzw. hing eine Klimaanlage an der Wand, aber auf Nachfrage wie diese anzuschalten sei, wurde uns gesagt, dass man seit 3 Jahren hierfür die Fernbedienung nicht mehr finden würde. Wir sollen einfach die Türe zum Schlafzimmer (das hatte eine funktionierende Klimaanlage) offen lassen und den Fan im Wohnzimmer anschalten. Das hat jedoch natürlich nicht gereicht!! Im Schlafzimmer waren an den vorhandenem Schrank Holzstücke herausgebrochen. In der Küche steht ein alter Herd den man jedoch nicht nutzen kann, da keine Lizenz hierfür da ist. Ansonsten gibt es als Küchenausstattung lediglich zwei Tassen, zwei Gläser, zwei Teller (Messer + Gabel) , sowie einen Wasserkocher(der bei unserer Ankunft voller Ameisen war) Das war es... Über den Zustand des Kühlschranks wollen wir nicht weiter berichten. Auch sonst kann man bzgl. der Sauberkeit wirklich sagen, dass diese ziemlich schlecht war. Die Betten waren steinhart und wir haben überhaupt nicht gut geschlafen! Für dieses Geld kann man wirklich wesentlich besseres erwarten! Waren vorher im La Vue de Mer an der anderen Küste und diese Unterkunft war top!! In jeglicher Hinsicht. Sauber!!! Wir sind wirklich schon viel gereist und würden von uns behaupten, dass wir nicht anspruchsvoll sind... Aber diese Unterkunft hat uns wirklich sprachlos gemacht...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hyde Tide. The place is amazing, with a stunning beachfront location and a beautiful atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. But what truly made my stay special was Clarisa. She is honestly one of the best hosts I have ever met in my life. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Hyde Tide is a beautiful place, but Clarisa’s hospitality is what makes it truly special. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable beachfront stay

Die Lage war OK. Den Rest vergessen wir besser.

Leider zu vieles um alles zu schreiben. Personal war in den 4 Tagen so gut wie nicht anzutreffen, bzw. nur auf telefonische Anfrage bei der Leitung, die übrigens auch nie anwesend war. Kein Frühstück. Hier würden wir mit Sicherheit kein 2. Mal buchen. Die Anlage ist das Geld nicht Wert. Hier müsste man sehr vieles verbessern um dem Preisanspruch gerecht zu werden

Nicht sauber; der Roomservice war eine Katastrophe; Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität; vorherige Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar; überwiegend kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort; unserer Ansicht nach stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht; wir würden diese Unterkunft niemals weiterempfehlen

La vue mer, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Clarissa. Très bon séjour

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die sehr freundliche und kompetente Chefin Clarissa. Sie hat sich jederzeit sofort um unsere Anliegen gekümmert und war immer hilfsbereit und herzlich. Außerdem hat sie uns viele hilfreiche Informationen über La Digue gegeben. Auch die Organisation der Fahrräder wurde von Clarissa übernommen – unkompliziert, ohne Aufpreis und innerhalb von nur 5 Minuten wurden sie direkt zur Unterkunft gebracht. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal: nur etwa 10 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt und in direkter Nähe zu Restaurants und einem Supermarkt.

Die Klimaanlage könnte noch etwas besser funktionieren. Der Strand direkt am Hotel ist eher klein, aber in kurzer Entfernung gibt es sehr schöne Alternativen. Zum Baden ist er dennoch gut geeignet.

Posizione strategica, disponibilità del personale

L'établissement est au bord de l'eau. C'est magnifique et très agréable. Clarissa est aux petits soins et pleine de bons conseils. Les petits déjeuners au bord de l'eau sont supers et l'établissement très agréable et idéalement situé. Nous reviendrions volontiers et nous serions bien restés plus longtemps.

Le lieu par lui même est chouette, transat sur la plage, la piscine. La chambre vue sur mer était bien. Clarissa est très sympathique, pleine de bons conseils. Elle s'occupe de louer les vélos par le biais d1 entreprise (10€ vélo classique, 50€ le électrique) Des travaux de rénovation vont être fait....

Manque d'informations, de panneau avec le nom de l'établissement qui nous indique le lieu, nous avions continué notre chemin puis fait demi tour, entree ds la propriété pour voir que cest bien le lieu. Pas de produit d'hygiène proposé (gel douche, shampoing..) ni sèche cheveux malgré demande. Il aurait été accueillant d'avoir de l'eau à l'arrivée aucune bouteille deau n'est offerte durant le séjour alors qu'il y a un distributeur d'eau refrigeré de 8l mais qui n'est proposé qu'à l'achat (trop quand on reste que 2jours)...il serait écologique de le mettre ds le prix de la chambre car nous avons du acheté bcp de bouteille...

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft und hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Clarissa, die uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts unglaublich herzlich betreut hat. Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit, hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge, Strände und Restaurants gegeben und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Das Hotel selbst ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet einen atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang direkt am eigenen Privatstrand. Die Lage ist zudem super zentral, sodass man alles schnell erreichen kann, und trotzdem konnte man die Ruhe und Entspannung genießen. Die Zimmer waren jederzeit sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Kombination aus zentraler Lage und absoluter Ruhe.

L’emplacement parfait en front de mer, restaurants proche et nourritures excellente. Clarissa la propriétaire très agréable et toujours très réactive. Petit déjeuner très bon avec fruits et jus frais tous les jours, confitures maison! Et prend toujours le temps pour ses hôtes même si elle a bien du travail ! On reviendra si Dieu le veut ! Merci encore pour tout Clarissa 🙏🏻🌴☀️

Die Unterkunft ist von der Entfernung zum Hafen, zu Restaurants, Supermärkten und Sehenswürdigkeiten her sehr gut gelegen. Clarisse war bei allem sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend.

Da wir das Standardzimmer gebucht hatten, war es kleiner und weniger gut ausgestattet als die anderen Zimmer. Dennoch könnte die Ausstattung besser sein. Wünschenswert wären ein Föhn und Badutensilien wie Shampoo. Die Internetstabilität und -stärke waren nicht so gut.

There was only one towel left . The reception was closed at 6 and no number left. That was very disappointing.

Il est présenté comme un hôtel, hors il s’agit plutôt d’appartement, d’une guest House. De nombreux équipements ou services proposés sur booking sont inexistant (bar, bain à remous …) prix proposé beaucoup trop élevé pour la prestation. La chambre vue mer donne en réalité sur la terrasse commune de l’établissement, obligation de garder les rideaux tirés pour avoir de l’intimité ! Le coin transat/plage pourrait être amélioré, la piscine ne donne pas envie ! L’ensemble est vieillissant … les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité.

Dobra lokacija, podjednska udaljenost od oba kraja ostrsva, pa je zgodno za obici bajsom. Lep pogled iz plaznog bara, ljubazno osoblje i vlasnica.

More ispred objekta je plitko, ima puno trave i nije za kupanje, samo je za gledanje sa plaze i kuliranje. Slabo osvetljen objekat u celini, higijena nije bila na zavidnom nivou. Slabo opremljene sobe za samostalno funkcionisanje.

הגענו למקום שלא דומה לתמונות המפורסמות בבוקינג קיבלנו דירה קטנה יותר, מלוכלכת מאוד! מגבות עם כתמים המצעים במיטה היו עם כתמים אדומים שאני לא יודעת מהם. מיטה חורקת הגענו ופשוט היינו בשוק, שיתפנו את בעלת המקום אפילו יצאנו יום לפני מה שסוכם והיא אפילו לא ענתה לנו על ההודעות וגם על זה שעזבנו לא יצרה איתנו קשר בכלל. מאוד מאכזב במיוחד שהינו בירח דבש. המינימום הוא לפחות להיות זמין לאורחים ולענות לפניות שלהם.

Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand , Gutes Frühstück wird auf Anfrage angeboten, Haus liegt sehr günstig, mit Rädern ist alles schnell erreichbar. Vermieter sind hilfsbereit und sehr zuverlässig.

Nichts

Établissement en bordure de plage, mais nous avons préféré d’autres endroits pour aller nous baigner. Les chambres sont desservies par un balcon terrasse commun. Nous n’avons pas essayé la piscine, les chaises longues semblaient tout le temps en plein soleil et le jardin doit être réaménagé. Tout fonctionne correctement dans la chambre (climatisation et douche).

La chambre standard n’était pas très grande, déco et équipement minimaliste. Ménage moyennement bien fait, draps de bain fournis, sans petites serviettes. Il faut les réclamer. Nous avons Malgré tout passé un bon séjour car nous n’utilisions la chambre que pour dormir. Facile d’accès depuis le port d’arrivée.

Die Vermieterin war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets gut gelaunt. Ein kleiner Familienbetrieb die immer wieder neues gestalten und umsetzen. Super Lage! Jederzeit wieder in dieses Guesthouse.

Bra läge på hotellet vid strand där man kan bada men också korta avstånd till bra restauranger och affärer. Okej säng och rum.

Man har nyligen bytt namn (och troligen inriktning) för när vi bokade hette det apartments men man såg inte mycket av vad man kunde förväntat sig i en sådan. Ett kylskåp, vattenkokare och några kaffekoppar var allt så man vill troligen vara mer av ett hotell nu. Servicen hade väl en del förbättringspotential då städningen var så där (en dag ingen alls) och det som var överenskommet gällande transporter från flygplatsen funkade heller inte. Fixar man till ovan så kan det säkert vara ett bra alternativ för det priset.

Direkt am Meer und trotzdem war alles gut erreichbar. Die Besitzerin war super nett und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert.

Service de location de vélo proposé par l'hôtel était nul (vélos pas en bon état). Une palm de palmier à la plage est tombée jusqu'à côté de ma tête, je me trouvait dans une fauteil sur le terrain de l'hôtel. Il sera important de entretenir les palmier avant que les palms tombent.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gross, modern und sehr gemütlich. Mit Ventilator über dem Bett und einer Klimaanlage die sehr gut kühlt und leise ist. Ein Kühlschrank ist auch vorhanden. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Und Clarisse die Chefin ist sehr lieb und immer gut drauf. Sie hat uns auch sehr viel auf einer La Digue Karte gezeigt und angezeichnet wohin man wie lange hat und ob der weg nur zu Fuss, mit dem Fahrrad oder einem Guide möglich ist. Und auch wie lange man für die Wege ungefähr braucht. Velos bekommt man da auch :)

Das einzige was negativ ist, dass das Meer dort direkt vor der Unterkunft nicht wirklich gut zum Baden und Schnorcheln ist. Hat allerdings nicht viel mit der Unterkunft zu tun. Und man ist sowieso überall schnell mit dem Fahrrad :)

Our stay was wonderful! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A special mention goes to Clarissa, our host, who organized everything perfectly. She was incredibly nice, helpful, and always made sure we felt taken care of. Highly recommended!

Klarissa ist die Managerin, die unglaublich freundlich ist. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sehr sauber und zudem sehr gut ausgestattet, z.B. mit einem Safe, einem Kühlschrank und einem Wasserspender. Das WLAN war sehr gut, und der Ausblick auf den Strand schön.

Alles war sehr schön. Irritiert haben eigentlich nur einige schlechte Bewertungen hier bei booking.com, die völlig unberechtigt sind. Die Zimmer sind wirklich schön und sauber, und alles ist sehr gepflegt.

Nous avons aime la proximité avec le centre et l accueil à notre arrivée, tout nous a été bien expliqué, les activités à faire, les bons restos. La gérante est vraiment super. Je recommande.

Lage Clarissa ist nett und bemüht

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolblick, welches über einen Laubengang, der gleichzeitig der Balkon ist, erreichbar war. Alle vier Zimmer hatten somit keine Privatsphäre. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, die Matratze hart. Die Zimmer auch unserer Nachbarn wurde in vier Tagen nur einmal gereinigt. Der Müll wurde von den Gästen daher irgendwo z.B vor der Rezeption abgestellt. Die Veranda und der Weg zur Veranda dind abends sehr schlecht beleuchtet. Das Wasser des Pools wurde offensichtlich nie kontrolliert/ gereingt.Insgesamt wirkt die ganze vernachlässigt. Sehr schade, weil eigentlich der Strand und die Lage schön sind. Bei ca.200 Euro die Nacht sehr sehr schlechtes Preiskeistungsverhältnis. Zu den Meerblickzimmern kann ichts sagen

Accueil et conseils excellents ! Infos sur location de vélo ou bateaux pour les îles parfait. Emplacement au calme face à la mer ! Piscine très agréable en plus. Vraiment bien.

Il faudrait un minimum d'équipements pour manger sur place. Seul point vraiment regrettable : le gérant ne prend pas les paiements en Euro comme indiqué sur le site. Il converti en monnaie locale selon le cours de la banque centrale.... qui n'est pas du tout celui que l'on obtient en retirant de l'argent... et de plus dans mon cas le cours de € a grimpé de 10% en 5 jours et donc ma facture a grimpé de 10% entre le montant annoncé à mon arrivée et celui payé au départ 😅

Good location, with bicycles available for rent on site. The rooms were cleaned daily and the pool was also very well maintained. Unfortunately, no breakfast was offered, and compared to other accommodations on La Digue it was quite expensive.

The Venue is nicely located alongside the beach. Friendly staff. Juliette was very helpfull. Very kind late check out (12.30hrs).

The guesthouse is seriously outpriced. We paid €320 per night for a room without breakfast and hardly any kitchen facilities to do it ourselves. The van was broken. The aircon was limited to only one operating mode. The owner had forgotten our booking and appeared to be abroad. Luckily the local staff helped out. Last day I had to pay the bill in cash as the machine for card payment was broken. That gave some logistics on our side and extra cost because cash withdrawal takes an extra fee. That felt unfriendly as payment could have simply been done via my booking-account and subsequent cc. All in all; you cannot charge full pull while not complying to international service standards.

We spent 1 week in Hyde-Tide Guesthouse, which has a perfect location with a walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. It is situated right on the beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with great views from the balconies where you can relax in silence admiring the beautiful nature around. The staff is very kind and helpful, ready to support with everything needed. Clarissa, thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing time, the memories will stay with us forever and we hope to come back one day! This was an excellent place for us and we really enjoyed our holidays to the maximum.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Hyde Tide. When we arrived, Kalarisa welcomed us with detailed explanations about the island , which made it very easy and improved our options for traveling there in the following days. We took a room facing the beach - which was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very pleasant to stay with the possibility of moving from the room to the beach in an instant. Also, on the day we left, they allowed us to stay beyond the check-out time until the afternoon, which was very helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you..

It was very nice, spatious and with a huge terrace as well, beach-front property at max 10 min walk from the ferry. The back yard towards the see is gorgeous and intimate where you can enjoy a drink (from the supermarket of course as they do not have serve anything for now) The receptionist was very kind and welcomed us with a cold coconut water.

The price is quite high considering that no breakfast is included and we were redirected to the next-door restaurant (Le Repaire) where we could have a decent breakfast but in the end, it’s La Digue! There was no hair drier or iron (but Clarissa helped us with 2 items to be ironed with their presser). Tv remote was not working.

Good accommodation that is close to everything on the island. Clarissa is wonderful and knowledgeable about the island. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, had a good balcony facing the sea. Cooled off in the pool after bike rides. Good location right by the beach.

Clarissa and her team will try to read your wishes, so you just have to think about something and it will happen ;) Clarissa’s very knowledgable about La Digue and she will organize bikes, excursions, transportation etc. She gave us a full overview of the island with all restaurants, take aways, beaches etc and that kept us pretty busy for our stay. We had a drinking-water refill station in our room, so we could safe a tan of single-use-plastic bottles, which was a very nice addition to the room. On our last day, we were allowed to keep our towels, stored our luggage, and took a shower near the pool, after a day at the beach, before heading back to the ferry, which was super comfortable. We had an amazing stay at the Hyde-Tide Guesthouse and we would return anytime. Thanks for having us and keep up the good work!

The guesthouse was overall fine, the location was very good, and the rooms were okay as well. We were greeted by Clarissa, and without exaggeration, she made our stay even better. Right from the start, she gave us tips for excursions, restaurants, etc., and was always there to listen to any problems. She gave us her WhatsApp number right away and was always reachable. 10/10 for Clarissa! (She even speaks fluently italian!!) P.S.: The Wi-Fi is now included in the price.

We stayed there in August, and unfortunately, the stay was really unpleasant. After reading about this place on the booking platform, the reviews seemed very good, but as it turned out later, we should have done more research and checked TripAdvisor, which was much closer to reality. The price is indeed quite high, around 400 euros without breakfast, and there is also an additional charge for the internet. The owner recommended renting bicycles from his acquaintances for an extra fee, but they were in very poor condition, so we didn't even use them on the second day. However, the biggest problem was bed bugs. On the first morning, we noticed a few bites on my husband's arm, but we thought it was just a regular insect bite. However, after the second night, I woke up with itching and both of my arms severely bitten, and my husband had the same bite patterns in the same places. Lifting the bedding, it was horrifying to see the kind of mattress they were using. Sadly, when we wrote to the owner, he simply ignored our messages. We contacted Booking.com, but even they couldn't help with a refund. I'm attaching photos and sincerely recommend avoiding this place.

Clarissa, the manager of the guesthouse is AMAZING. She organized everything we needed, from bike rental to snorkling trip, even car rental on another island. She gave us top tips for La Digue and was super helpful, always reachable and there for us. She really made our stay comfortable. You can buy big water tanks directly from the guesthouse for a really fair price without the hastle of small plastic bottles. The room was basic but has everything you need, also it’s on the beachfront which is nice. Overall the location of the guesthouse is top to get around the island by bike (only 5-10min walk from the jetty on a paved road).

Unfortunately the beach front terrace was not prepared, there was no option for breakfast and the bar was closed, which also meant no drinks were served. Wifi was an additional 100 SCR for the entire stay (which is not a lot but still annoying). The owner and his son were also present but didn‘t really bother with the guests.

simply wow, we spent 5 days here. On arrival, we were first briefed about the island, what to do, good places to eat, where it's most beautiful and much more. The whole process worked great, you could book bicycles directly or make a reservation at the Belle Vue restaurant, is recommended! Can highly recommend the accommodation, very quiet location, on a great beach and still in the middle of everything.

David the owner Was a really nice guy, same as his son, beautiful place on the sea side, you can find peace there for sure! If you ask me if I come back, I definitely will.

Well situated, friendly, nice size room. Peaceful

clean nice room, ground floor seafront room, nice lady welcoming us - on whatsup in case we needed anything, which she offered to arrange, that was nice. We stayed only two nights, luckily not many people at that time, so it was pretty quiet even though we were accommodated by the main "all guest terrace" which frigtened me at first, as I was worried that if people will be chilling out and chatting till late hours we won't get any sleep. None of that happened. Beach is ok, for chill out and view rather than swimming but in general quiet place with short walking distance to shops etc.

Somebody started with early clening and washing up dishes (round 5 in the morning) - just next door, so it was hard to fall asleep again.

Clarissa was the best host! We appreciated her taking the time to explain the best things to do on the island when we first checked in. She also gave us great restaurant recommendations and organised our bike rentals for us. The property is conveniently located near the ferry port and close to grocery stores, restaurants, ATMs, etc.

Great location within walking distance of the ferry and many restaurants, on the ocean, and with a lovely pool. Clarissa was absolutely wonderful and accommodating and helped us to arrange pick up and bike rentals and to organize our plans to make the most of our stay. Highly recommend!

We really liked our stay in the apartment. The magnificent view with palm trees right next to the sea was stunning. The hotel is located in the center but in the end of the main street, so it's quiet but still close to restaurants. The host helped us rent a bike and advised us about beautiful beaches and restaurants. We also had delicious and rich breakfasts and dinners here. Thank you David ❤️

The room was big and clean. Bed was nice - I slept well. I would suggest upgrading your stay to have one of the sea view rooms - worth the higher price. David (the owner) is extremely friendly and helpful. Can highly reccomend this place!

There was nothing bad about my stay thus nothing significant to mention.. Everything was awesome. But please be aware that there is a small charge of you want to pay by card (this is a norm in Seyshelles thus noting against the hotel) and there is also a small and reasonable fee if you want to use the internet- this is mentioned in their policy and the price was cheaper that I thought it will be... So all good! :)

The location is very good, 10-15 minutes walk ftom the ferry. We rented studio with one big bed, sofa, kitchennete, balcony. There is air conditioner and fan on the ceiling (but the fan was dusty, so we didn't use it). The sheets and towels are not super clean, but acceptable. There are lots of extra services: no drinking water provided in the room, but there is a cooler and you can buy 13-litres bottle from the host for 100 rupees. Wi-Fi is payable - 100 rupees per phone. You can order breakfast for 150 or 250 rupees, as well dinner is 650 rupees per person. You can also rent a bicycle here for 150 rupees per person per day, and as we understand this is average price for bike rental on the island. Pool in the yard, but very limited usage hours. Direct entrence to the ocean, sunbeds, terrace, which is super nice. Beautiful garden

There is no real dining area in the room: only low small stone and couch or oudoor furniture on the balcony, but it's too hot to sit on the balcony during the day. The doors of wardrobe do not work good, not enough hangers inside. There is much rust: on the drying rack on the balcony, on the cooking accessories, on the clothes rack in the bathroom

The property is in an excellent location and is immaculately clean. It’s very roomy and the people that run it are very friendly. Good to have a pool although we didn’t use it as the property is right on the beach.

The kitchen is basic and could do with more utensils and cutlery. The people that run it are very friendly but could be more organised. They were great at organising tours for us but we had to chase them to find out the names of the guide, costs etc. A private party took place one night during our stay until 4am despite the owner being contacted (who was on site) for it to stop. The music was so loud the furniture was vibrating! Despite querying our bill on check out, since leaving we have been asked to pay more money as we paid a bill that was less than what we owed. This is not a problem and we are happy to pay the money but they are being very slow to deal with it. We told them to take it from our card stored with Booking as soon as we left and they haven’t within 10 days so now we have to organise a bank transfer. No apology or explanation for the hassle and slowness to deal with it, so poor management.

Clarisse manages the location with professional and personal care. Her warm welcome makes you feel home from the very first minute you set foot at her place. She gave us valuable tips and indications to make our stay unforgettable and maximize our time at La Digue. A totally recommended place to stay! Clean, comfortable and great location!

The big apartment with stylish furniture and a newly renovated bathroom lies directly at a beautiful beach an a 5min Bike ride to the small town/port and to Anse Source d argent. The host Clarissa and her husband were incredibly friendly and helped us with everything, giving the best insider-info for a perfect stay in la Digue.

We have booked an apartment of 46 m2, with balcony on the first floor.seaview view and kitchen at Hyde tide in advance. we booked this hotel because of there rooms and view. when we arrived We were offered the smallest room of 12 m2 without a kitchen and facing the veranda/in the restaurant and the hotel hostess thought it was an ok exchange. When we made the hostess aware of this problem, she said she could not help us because she has given our room to other guests but we could have the the next day if it was available. We explained to her that we did not want to live on the veranda/in the restaurant, we would like to have a balcony, which we had ordered. She was able to offer us something very special, their little old massage room, which had been turned into a room, great view. But the electricity/light didn't work in the room and when we told the hostess, she said she couldn't do anything about it now or later. But the owner came up to fix the lighting and it turned out to be a somewhat exciting solution. please do not book this hotel you are not sure you get what you have paid for.

- The room was spacious and clean - Nice bathroom with space for your toiletries and great rain shower - Clarissa was the perfect host. She welcomed us with valuable information about the island, organized the taxis from and to the port and the bicycles. Her 3 month old baby was the cutest and happiest baby.

- That you have to pay extra for everything (e.g. internet, water, bicycles). In other accommodations we stayed during our trip water, juices and internet was free of charge.
